In this study proposed to rapid and simple methid of test for early evaluation of strength of cement. The obtained results through a series of experiment are summarized as follow. The resistance ratio was decreased as the increase of water-cement ratio. The compressive strength of cement was increased as the resistance ratio increase. The experimental results of compressive strength of cement is shown in the same value no relation with the kind of cement respectively.

The electrocardiographic changes produced at surgery in all patients undergoing total correction of tetralogy of Fallot at the Seoul National University Hospital from 1961 through August 1979, were reviewed. Particular attention was directed to the presence of postoperative right bundle branch block combined with left anterior hemiblock and its prognosis. 14 patients [9.4%] out of 149 who were survived for 30 days postoperatively, showed right bundle branch block with left anterior hemiblock pattern in electrocardiography. But no complete heart block was occurred in these l 4 patients during the follow up periods of 2-56 months.

Congenital diaphragmatic hernia remains a disease with high neonatal mortality rate despite recent advance in neonatal intensive care. We experienced one case of the congenital diaphragmatic hernia with acute respiratory distress and left pulmonary hypoplasia in the neonate. The simple closure was performed through left paramedian approach after diagnosis. The postoperative course was uneventful except wound disruption. The patient was follow-up with good general condition.

Four quadrotor UAVs are maneuvered to guide four animals into their pen within the minimum time by creating noises of predators modeled with an exponential function. The quadrotor UAVs are controlled via PID controllers, follow time optimal trajectories, and avoid collisions through altitude separations. The stability of the proposed PID controller is analyzed and verified using MATLAB/Simulink based simulations. Proposed step by step strategies would be practical solutions of actual cattle roundup problems.

Hyundai Electronics Industries Corp has developed a navigation system which automatically computes the current position and displays it on the map using GPS(Global Positioning System). This system has such features as follow : searching of destination by means of digital mapping, locating of the present position on the map and detecting of guidance timing through signals from the artificial satellites and vehicle's sensors, and having a few of functions as TV & VTR monitoring, tracing the route, displaying service information which include hotels, restaurants, entertainments, et al. This paper describes the operations and construction of this navigation system.

A new control method for position control of D.C. servo motor based on the variable structure control is presented. The desired trajectory satisfying the given performance requirement is used as the sliding curve. And the control input forcing the system to follow the desired model system is applied. As a result the method is robust to disturbance. The performance of the proposed controller is compared with that of the conventional state feedback controller through digital computer simulation.

An autonomous mobile robot has been developed which can follow a travel map drawn on a monitor screen using a software. The robot works as an exhbition guide making announcement regrading the events to take place or introducing the products on display. This mobile robot computes the world position and heading direction through camera image, ultrasonic and infrared sensors in real time using specially designed algorithm. This mobile robot will be exhibited at '93 Tae-Jeon EXPO for an exhibition guide, and will be used in a plant or a hospital for materials handling purposes.

The Bennett lesion is an extraarticular ossification of the posteroinferior quadrant of the glenoid. The lesion may be a source of shoulder pain in throwing athletes. The Bennett lesion may be caused by traction on the posterior band of the inferior glenohumeral ligamentous complex produced by posteroior subluxation during cocking, posterior subluxation during cocking, posterior decelerate forces during follow-through, or a combination of the two. Treatment is usually conservative and focused at the associated intraarticular abnormality and pathomechanics.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the fastfood franchise distribution channel in the Pusan area. To achieve the research objectives, hypotheses were developed through a literature review and an experimental methods wee employed. The major findings of this study are as follow; (1) franchiser's control and autonomy positively affected the affective commitment of franchisee. (2) franchisee's affective commitment positively affected the performance. (3) franchiser's control positively affected the performance of franchisee. Therefore, the efficient franchise system and relationship are required in the Korean distribution channel.

We propose the hybrid robust controller for TDC(Time Delay Control) and SMC(Sliding Mode Control) method. TDC and SMC deal with the time-varying system parameters, unknown dynamics and unexpected disturbance. This controller is applied to follow the desired reference model for the uncertain time-varying overhead crane. The control performance is evaluated through simulation. The theoretical results indicate That the proposed controller shows excellent performance to an overhead crane with the uncertain time-varying parameters and disturbance.
