  • This paper aims to analyse the performance of coded frequency hopping /spread spectrum mul~ tiple access system by employing the channel with mixture of A WGN, partial band jamming, fading and user interference. In this approach, a special consideration is focused on the effect of the partial hit. That is, the interfering signals that are present for a small fraction of the hop dur~ ation did not cause hit. The results of analysis showed that the frequency hit changed linearly according to the varying degree of frequency overlap. And this effect did not change the type of error probability distri~ bution.

  • New solutions are given for the capacity and spectrum efficiency of frequency hopped spread spectrum multiple access system(FH-SSMA) in a Nakagami interference environment. In this paper we derive a exact formulation of the deletion probability for a mobile environment and analyze the system capacity and spectrum efficiency in terms of the average bit error rate(BER). It is shown that the system capacity is decreased by 52% as the Nakagami fading parameter is reduced to 0.5 and the required signal to noise ratio(SNR) is above 25dB, to get the spectrum efficiency of 0.3.

  • In this paper, Modified system of the asynchronous repeat FH/MFSK transmission system is proposed. By transmitting data bits less that address bits, we can improue the system performance, we have evaluated the probability of word error of modified system and compared with the conventional system. And it is found that the modified system shows the improved performance. Also the structure of the receiver is remarkably simplified with the comparison of the conventional system.

  • This paper considers the mutual interference problem of several users employing the same FH systems in selected multiple user environments. The environment consists of a desired transmitter-receiver pair located in an area where there are M interfering users distributed in accordance with a specified probability density function. Both coherent Phase-Shift-Keyed and incoherent Frequencey-Shift-Keyed modulations are considered. The general formulas of the average bit error probability are derived. The calculation results are summarized and analyzed. The average bit error probability is highly dependent on the relative location of interferences to the desired link, the time duty factor of the hopping and the number of available channels.

  • This paper shows the performance of FH /BFSK communication systems under worst case Jamming interference. The channel Is modeled with ratio-threshold technique, and as a lamming signal the tone Jamming and Gaussian Jamming are used. The performance is analyzed by using the channel capacity which is the code rate and bit signal-to-Jammer ratio, and we show that the performance degration becomes large as background noise Is big and obtain the best performance when the threshold level f is about 1.5.

  • This paper presents the analysis of pitch static attitude(PSA) in thermally assisted magnetic recording(TAMR) suspension. The TAMR suspension using an optical fiber has high stiffness such as vertical, pitch and roll. Therefore, P-torque is greatly increased by the optical fiber. Also, flying height(FH) of the slider with TAMR suspension can be largely changed by PSA. In this paper, we focus on the FH by PSA of TAMR suspension. The FH is investigated using various PSA and proper PSA is proposed.

  • In this study, we examined the case of Fukushima Hydrogen Research Field (FH2R) Namie hydrogen town. We found that the case has three aspects of socio-technical experiment: a living-scale test-bed of hydrogen technologies, activities for enhancing social acceptability, and a designed module for policy transfer to diffuse. This study aims to provide a benchmark for planning a green hydrogen city in near future.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the validity of midsagittal reference (MSR) planes constructed in maxillofacial 3D images. Methods: Maxillofacial computed tomography (CT) images were obtained in 36 normal occlusion individuals who did not have apparent facial asymmetry, and 3D images were reconstructed using a computer software. Six MSR planes (Cg-ANS-Ba, Cg-ANS-Op, Cg-PNS-Ba, Cg-PNS-OP, FH${\perp}$(Cg, Ba), FH${\perp}$(Cg, Op)) were constructed using the landmarks located in the midsagittal area of the maxillofacial structure, such as Cg, ANS, PNS, Ba and Op, and FH plane constructed with Po and Or. The six pairs of landmarks (Z, Fr, Fs, Zy, Mx, Ms), which represent right and left symmetry in the maxillofacial structure, were selected. Statistically significant differences of the right and the left measurements were examined through t-test, and the difference of the right and the left measurement was compared among the six MSR planes. Results: The distances from the right and the left landmarks in each pair to each MSR plane did not show a statistically significant difference. The reproducibility of the landmark identification was excellent. Conclusion: All the six planes constructed in this study can be used as a MSR plane in maxillofacial 3D analysis, particularly, the planes including Cg and ANS.
