비틀림 진동감쇠기용 슬리브 스프링의 제조 공정 해석 (A Process Analysis for Manufacturing the Sleeve Spring of the Torsional Vibration Damper)

  • In diesel engines, it is inevitable that the torsional vibration is produced by the fluctuation of engine torque. Therefore, it is necessary to establish preventive measures to diminish the torsional vibration. The sleeve spring type damper is one of the preventive measures for reducing the torsional vibration. In this study, 2-roll bending process was proposed to manufacture sleeve spring; The program to calculate the initial radius including springback effect was developed and the FEA method to analyze elasto-plastic problem was verified through analysis of 90 degree bending process. The elasto-plastic analysis of 2-roll bending process was carried out by the FEA method verified to set a new criterion, and the new process design parameter(contact angle) in the 2-roll bending process was proposed.

Load-sharing ratio analysis of reinforced concrete filled tubular steel columns

  • It was clear from the former researches on reinforced concrete filled tubular steel (RCFT) structures that RCFT structures have different performance than concrete filled steel tubular (CFT) structures. However, despite of that, load-sharing ratio of RCFT is evaluating by the formula and range of CFT given by JSCE. Therefore, the aim of this investigation is to study the load-sharing ratio of RCFT columns subjected to axial compressive load by performing numerical simulations of RCFT columns with the nonlinear finite element analysis (FEA) program - ADINA. To achieve this goal, firstly proper material constitutive models for concrete, steel tube and reinforcement are proposed. Then axial compression tests of concrete, RC, CFT, and RCFT columns are carried out to verify proposed material constitutive models. Finally, by the plenty of numerical analysis with small-sized and big-sized columns, load-sharing ratio of RCFT columns was studied, the evaluation formulas and range were proposed, application of the formula was demonstrated, and following conclusions were drawn: The FEA model introduced in this paper can be applied to nonlinear analysis of RCFT columns with reliable results; the load-sharing ratio evaluation formula and range of CFT should not be applied to RCFT; The lower limit for the range of load-sharing ratio of RCFT can be smaller than that of CFT; the proposed formulas for load-sharing ratio of RCFT have practical mean in design of RCFT columns.

장공발파 시 천공간격과 기폭시차에 따른 최대주변형률 비교 연구 (Comparative Study on the Maximum Principal Strain due to the Hole Spacing and the Detonation Delay Time in the Long-Hole Blasting)

  • 본 연구에서는 2자유면을 가진 암반의 장공발파 시 천공간격과 뇌관의 기폭시차에 따라 발생되는 내부주변형률의 변화를 확인하기 위하여 Visual FEA 유한요소 프로그램으로 해석 암반의 단면을 모델링하여 인접공균열권 내의 주요 절점에서 최대주변형률을 분석하였다. 결과적으로, 장공발파 시 천공간격이 좁고 기폭시차가 길수록 인접공 균열권 내에 미치는 최대주변형률 값이 크게 나타났고, 장약장 내 폭약의 기폭 위치에 따라 최대 주변형률의 차이를 보였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 유한요소 프로그램을 이용하여 솔레노이드 밸브의 해석을 용이하게 하는 프로그램 개발에 대해서 다루었다. 비례솔레노이드 밸브에서 정확한 해를 얻기 위해서는 이론적인 식보다 기존의 유한요소 해석툴을 이용하는 것이 유리하며, 이때 사용자의 편의성을 위해서 솔레노이드의 형상을 삼각형, 사각형 등의 간단한 도형의 조합이라고 가정하여 모델링하도록 하였다. 이러한 가정을 사용하여 개발된 솔레노이드 해석 프로그램은 사용자가 솔레노이드의 유한요소 모델을 쉽게 생성할 수 있도록 해주었다. 개발된 프로그램의 유용성을 검증하기 위해 실제 솔레노이드 밸브에 대한 해석을 수행하였으며, 해석결과 개발된 프로그램은 솔레노이드 밸브의 비례특성을 잘 해석할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • As the material aging of nuclear power plants has been progressing in domestic and overseas, crack growth becomes one of the most important issues. In this respect, the crack growth assessment has been considered an essential part of structural integrity. The crack growth assessment for nuclear power plants has been generally performed based on ASME B&PV Code, Sec. XI but the idealization of crack shape and the conservative solutions of stress intensity factor (SIF) are used. Although finite element analysis (FEA) based on iterative crack growth analysis is considered as an alternative method to simulate crack growth, there are yet no guidelines to model the crack-tip spider-web mesh for such analysis. In this study, effects of various meshing factors on FE SIF calculation are systematically examined. Based on FEA results, proper criteria for spider-web mesh in crack-tip are suggested. The validation of SIF calculation method through mapping initial stress field is investigated to consider initial residual stress on crack growth. The iterative crack-tip modeling program to simulate crack growth is developed using the proposed criteria for spider-web mesh design. The SIF results from the developed program are validated by comparing with those from technical reports of other institutes.

  • In the high speed driving conditions, the vibrational phenomena with relation to chassis system are becoming more important factors in chassis design and development. In this paper Commercial Dynamic program is used to model middle size bus for brake judder phenomenon. To verify the effects of a body structure in brake judder, body structure is modeled in flexible.   • In this study, a user oriented CFD program for optimum design of a regenerative combustion furnace, REBURN was developed. For user's convenience, user friendly Graphic User Interface was made and the renumbering interface program was developed in order to directly input any generated mesh system from ICEM CFD/FEA. Also an automatic processing system for switching mode was developed. The program was verified through compahng with commercial CFD code about regenerative combustion furnace. Then, numerical simulation of real walking beam furnace used in real industry was performed and the parametric analysis was studied about the arrangement mode. As a results, the uniform temperature was appeared in the cross mode.

  • 정찰 및 감시를 위한 어레이 안테나가 내장된 날개는 컷아웃이 수반되기 때문에 구조성능이 저하된다. 본 논문에서는 단순화된 복합재 날개에 어레이 안테나 탑재시 안테나성능 저하와 날개구조 성능 저하를 최소화할 수 있는 복합재 모자형 보강재의 두께에 대해 최적설계를 수행하였다. 최적의 모자형 보강재 형상 선정을 위하여 모자형 보강재의 웹 경사도와 플랜지의 길이에 변화를 주어 상용 유한요소해석 프로그램을 이용하여 구조 해석을 수행하였다. 복합재 모자형 보강재형상에 대하여 응력과 좌굴에 대한 구속조건으로 상용 최적화 프로그램인 VisualDOC와 상용 유한요소해석 프로그램을 이용하여 최적화를 수행하여 보강재의 두께를 결정하였다.

  • The structural intensity analysis, which calculates vibration energy flow from vibratory velocity and internal force of a structure, can give information on sources' power, dominant transmission path and sink of vibration energy. In this study, we present a system for structural intensity analysis and visualization to apply for anti-vibration design of ship structures. The system calculates structural intensity from the results of forced vibration analysis and visualize the intensity using a general purpose finite element analysis program MSC/Nastran and its pre- and post-processor program. To demonstrate the analysis and visualization capability of the presented system, we show and discuss the results of structural intensity analysis for a cross-stiffened plate and a 70,500 OW crude oil tanker

  • 본 연구는 전응력 개념에 근거한 비등방경화 구성관계를 적용하여 유한요소해석을 수행하는 데 목적이 있다. 이에 대상문제에 적합한 비등방경화 구성관계를 개발하여 수학적으로 정식화하고 실험적으로 검증하였다. 동반논문에서는 유한요소해법의 정확도와 수렴성을 확보하도록 정식화하여 해석코드에 구현한 후 실제문제를 해석한다. 제안된 구성관계는 von Mises 형태의 파괴규준과 일반 등방경화규칙에 의거한 비등방경화규칙을 채택하여 비선형성과 비등방성이 심한 응력-변형률 관계를 모델하였다. 결과적으로 UU 삼축시험, 과압밀 상태에 대한 CU 삼축시험, $K_0$ 압밀조건의 주응력축 회전시 비등방적 거동에 대하여 검증할 수 있었다.
