The current study deals with the possible interplay between superconductivity and spin density wave in two band model high temperature iron based superconductor (FeBSC) Ba1-xNaxFe2As2. The electron and hole bands in the presence of the inter-band interaction between the two bands is becoming a vital issue to deal with the high temperature physics of the iron-based superconductors. In this research work, a model Hamiltonian appropriate for the system under consideration has been developed and the temperature dependent Green's function technique has been employed to get the solution for the equations of motion constructed for the two band model high temperature FeBSC Ba1-xNaxFe2As2. By making use of the decoupling procedure, the equations of motion for the dependence of superconducting transition temperature (TC) on spin density wave(SDW) order parameter (ΔSDW) in the electron intra-band (Δsc(e)) , hole intra-band (Δsc(h)) and inter-band (Δsc(eh)) for Ba1-xNaxFe2As2 have been obtained. We have also obtained the expression for the dependence of spin density wave transition temperature(TSDW) on ΔSDW for Ba1-xNaxFe2As2. Using some plausible approximations and appropriate experimental values for the parameters in the obtained equations of motion, phase diagrams of TC versus Δsc(e), Δsc(h) and Δsc(eh) are plotted. Furthermore, a phase diagram of TSDW versus ΔSDW is plotted for the material under consideration. Finally, using the above mentioned phase diagrams, the interplay between superconductivity and spin density wave in the two band model high temperature FeBSC Ba1-xNaxFe2As2 has been demonstrated to be a very distinct possibility. The agreement of the current finding with the experimental observations is quite commendable.

In this study, ultra-fine soft-magnetic micro-powders are prepared by high-pressure gas atomization of an Fe-based alloy, Fe-Hf-B-Nb-P-C. Spherical powders are successfully obtained by disintegration of the alloy melts under high-pressure He or $N_2$ gas. The mean particle diameter of the obtained powders is $25.7{\mu}m$ and $42.1{\mu}m$ for He and $N_2$ gas, respectively. Their crystallographic structure is confirmed to be amorphous throughout the interior when the particle diameter is less than $45{\mu}m$. The prepared powders show excellent soft magnetic properties with a saturation magnetization of 164.5 emu/g and a coercivity of 9.0 Oe. Finally, a toroidal core is fabricated for measuring the magnetic permeability, and a ${\mu}_r$ of up to 78.5 is obtained. It is strongly believed that soft magnetic powders prepared by gas atomization will be beneficial in the fabrication of high-performance devices, including inductors and motors.

For a quantitative inspection on the performance of weathering steel bridges, we have investigated the relationship between the corrosion rate and the composition of the rust layers formed on weathering steel bridges located in various environments in Japan and applied a protective ability index (PAI) to the bridges. The corrosion rates were clearly classified by the PAI, ${\alpha}/{\gamma}*$ and sub index of $({\beta}+s)/{\gamma}*$, where $\alpha$, \gamma*, $\beta$ and s are the mass ratio of crystalline $\alpha-FeOOH$, the total of $\gamma$-FeOOH+ $\beta$-FeOOH + the spinel-type iron oxide (mainly $Fe_3O_4$), $\beta-FeOOH$ and spinel-type iron oxide, analyzed by powder X-ray diffraction, respectively. In the case of ${\alpha}/{\gamma}$*>1, the rust layer works protective enough to reduce the corrosion rate less than 0.01 mm/y. The sub index $({\beta}+s)/{\gamma}*$<0.5 or >0.5 classifies the corrosion rate of the non-protective rust layers, therefore the former state of the rust layer terms inactive and the latter terms active. The quantitative inspection of a weathering steel bridge requires a performance-inspection (PI) and periodical deteriorationinspections (DI). The PI can be completed by checking of the PAI, ${\alpha}/{\gamma}*$. The DI on the weathering steel bridges where deicing salt is sprinkled can be performed by checking the PAI, $({\beta}+s)/{\gamma}*$.

In this study, squeal noise with respect to pressure variation is measured by a lab-scaled brake dynamometer and estimated by a complex finite element (FE) eigenvalue analysis. From the FE eigenvalue sensitivity analysis, unstable frequencies occur due to a mode-coupling mechanism and are found to change with variation in contact stiffness. In the experiment, squeal frequencies near 1 kHz, 2.5 kHz, 3.5 kHz, and 4 kHz are increased with pressure variation. The sensitivity of squeal modes to contact stiffness variation obtained from the FE analysis is shown to approximate the variation of squeal frequencies under pressure variation in the experiment.

Recently CRT is getting large-sized, Flatness and High Fine Pitched in the meantime the raw material for shadow mask is in rapid progress of thinness, Low Thermal Expansion and high strength.Until now we have used AK(Aluminum Killed) & Invar(Fe-Ni alloy) materials for main raw material of shadow mask component. However recently Nb and Co addition and Nb+Co addition, which has advantage of Low Thermal Expansion and High Strength. has been developed as well as applying in mass production as CRT's trend has become more flat and fine pitch. Among of them, Co addition has been mass production as forming type (Flat CRT) with the beneficial effect of low thermal expansion & high strength for the first time. Since then Nb+Co addition has been used in mass production by the request of much higher strength of shadow mask component. In case of Nb addition, It's thermal expansion coefficient is a little lower than normal Invar and a little higher than Co addition, meanwhile Its Mechanical property is almost similar to Co Addition. The used samples of this experiment are 36%Ni + Fe, 32%Ni + 5%Co + Fe, 32%Ni + 5%Co + 0.3%Nb + Fe, 32%Ni + 0.3%Nb + Fe with heat treatment temperature of 600$^{\circ}C$, 650$^{\circ}C$, 700$^{\circ}C$, 750$^{\circ}C$, 800$^{\circ}C$, 850$^{\circ}C$, 900$^{\circ}C$ respectively under the condition of 15min holding time. After heat treatment, we have observed the change of mechanical property with addition of small elements through mechanical property investigation and metal structure observation as well as transition of thermal expansion coefficient by measuring of thermal expansion coefficient at 850$^{\circ}C$. In conclusion, 5%Co addition indicates that its thermal expansion coefficient is very similar under the condition of at 850$^{\circ}C$ for 15min 's heat treatment. From the experimental result it is suggested that Co addition is mostly suitable for Doming property and Nb addition is mostly suitable for Drop property.
This investigation is to determine whether the surface complexation of iron influence acute pulmonary responses induced by silica. For this study, three varieties of cation complexed silica were used: $silica-H^+,\;-Zn^{2+},\;and\;-Fe^{3+},$ since the first two are not active in the transport of electrons and generate little free radicals relative to the dust with the surface iron. Rats (270 to 280 g) were intratracheally (IT) instilled with saline, $silica-H^+,\;-Zn^{2+},\;or\;-Fe^{3+}$(5 mg in 0.5 ml saline). After 4 h, cell number, type, and differentiation were analysed in the bronchoalveolar lavage cells, and the levels of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and total protein were determined in the lavage fluid. In addition, bronchoalveolar lavage cells were cultured, and nitric oxide production was measured using nitrate assay. Inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) mRNA in the bronchoalveolar lavage cells was also determined by northern blot analysis. Differential counts of the lavage cells showed that red blood cells were increased by 9-, 8-, and 13-fold and total leukocytes (lymphocytes plus polymorphonuclear neutrophils) by 48-, 36-, and 33-fold, following IT $silica-H^+,\;-Zn^{2+},\;and\;-Fe^{3+},$ respectively compared with the saline group. Meanwhile, there were no significant differences in red blood cells and total leukocytes among any of the cation complexed silica groups. The levels of LDH and total protein in the lavage fluid were significantly increased by 3- to 4-fold. However, compared among these silica groups, $Fe^{3+}$? complexation did not significantly change the LDH activity and total protein. NO production in cultured bronchoalveolar lavage cells was elevated by 2-fold, following IT any of the silica treatments compared with the saline group. Furthermore, the steady-state levels of iNOS mRNA in the lavage cells were greatly increased. There were any differences in iNOS mRNA expression among the silica-treated groups as with NO production. These findings suggest that surface complexed iron may not influence the acute pulmonary responses resulted from 4h exposure to silica.
Several experiments have been done to investigate the removal of hydrogen sulfide ($H_2S$) synthetic gas from biogas streams by means of chemical absorption and chemical reaction with 0.1-1 M Fe/EDTA solution. The roles of Fe/EDTA were studied to enhance the removal efficiency of hydrogen sulfide because of oxidizing by chelate. The motivation of this investigation is first to explore the feasibility of enhancing the toxic gas treatment in the biogas facility. The biogas purification strategy affords many advantages. For instance, the process can be performed under mild environmental conditions and at low temperature, and it removes hydrogen sulfide selectively. The end product of separation is elemental sulfur, which is a stable material that can be easily disposed with minor potential for further pollution. As the Fe-EDTA concentration increased, the conversion rate of hydrogen sulfide increased because of the high stability of Fe-EDTA complex. pH as an important environmental factor was 9.0 for the stability of chemical complex in the oxidation of hydrogen sulfide.
Induced anisotropy with the energy of $6{\times}10^4\; J/m^3$ is obtained in amorphous Sm-Fe based thin films which are fabricated by rf magnetron sputtering under a magnetic field of 500~600 Oe. Compared with conventional thin films, the anisotropic thin films exhibit a similar "saturation" magnetostriction, but show a very large anisotropy in magnetorstiction which is of significant practical importance due to increased strain at a particular direction. It is shown from a systematic investigation over a wide composition range for binary Sm-Fe alloys that anisotropy is also induced, though small, during a normal sputtering procedure due to the stray field, and the largest anisotropy is observed in the composition range of 25~30 at.% Sm. Furthermore, induced anisotropy is also found to be formed by magnetic annealing, but the anisotropy energy is much smaller than that by magnetic sputtering. This may be because the volume diffusion by which atoms move during magnetic annealing to from induced anisotropy is much slower than the surface diffusion which is expected to be a dominant factor during magnetic sputtering.puttering.
Comprehensive utilization of zinc smelting iron slag not only solves environmental problems but also creates huge economic benefits. This study was conducted on the enrichment and recovery of ${\alpha}-Fe_2O_3$ from zinc smelting iron slag by superconducting HGMS technology. Several variables such as slurry flow velocity, slag concentration, magnetic field intensity and the amount of dispersing agent were tested in magnetic separation. In the experiments, obtained optimal magnetic separation parameters were 1.60 T of magnetic flux intensity, 600 mL/min of slurry flow velocity of, 15 g/L of slag concentration of, 0.10 g/L of dispersing agent. Under this condition, the content of ${\alpha}-Fe_2O_3$ was increased from 86.22% to 94.39% that can approach the Chinese national standard requirements (A level) of iron oxide red. It was concluded that using superconducting HGMS technology was an effective method for the purification of ${\alpha}-Fe_2O_3$ from zinc smelting iron slag.

Previous studies have suggested that delta-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase (ALAD) phenotype differently affect mineral metabolism. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of 6-month iron supplementation as syrup of NaFeEDTA in improvement of iron status according to ALAD genotype. One hundred thirty adult women living in rural areas of Asan were provided NaFeEDTA syrup once a week for 6 months at the dose of 64mg Fe/week. Three hundred control subjects were observed during the study period. Fasting blood was obtained for analyzing hemoglobin (Hb) and zinc protophorphyrin (ZPP) and serum was analyzed for ferritin, iron and total iron capacity (TIBC) levels before and after iron supplementation. Ninety percent of ALAD 1-1 (ALAD1) and 10% of ALAD 1-2 (ALAD2) genotype were observed in the control group. However in the intervention group, 98% showed ALAD1 while only 2% was ALAD2, which is significantly lower proportions of ALAD2 compared to the control group (p<0.01). The iron status of Intervention group significantly improved except for ferritin and TIBC regardless or ALAD genotype, while the control group did not show any changes in iron status except for ZPP. ZPP concentration of the control group significantly increased in both ALAD1 and 2 while the intervention group showed significantly decreased ZPP after supplementation in ALAD1. Iron supplementation in the form of NaFeEDTA seems to be effective in reduction of ZPP levels although ALAD2 did not show significant changes due to the small number. However, it is difficult to make a conclusion from these results, and more specified further investigation is needed with more participants.
