병원 간호사들의 근거활용 경험 및 장애요소와 촉진요소에 대한 탐색 (Hospital Nurses' Uses of Evidence, and Barriers to and Enablers of Evidenced-based Practice)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore nurses' experience of evidence-based nursing practice in general hospitals. Methods: Data were collected from 13 nurses through in-depth interviews about their experiences with evidence-based practice. The research questions were "What kind of evidence are you using in your practice?" and "What are the barriers to and enablers of evidence-based practice that you have experienced?" Qualitative data from field and transcribed notes were analyzed using qualitative content analysis methodology. Results: Major themes of using evidence were identified as 'research as primary valid evidence', 'information from local context and internet as realistic evidence', and 'clinical experience as pragmatic evidence'. Patient experience was not used as evidence in solving nursing problems. Barriers to and enablers of evidence-based practice were linked. They included both external, organizational factors and individual factors. Main issues were 'lack of evidence and poor work environment', and major facilitating factors were 'improving knowledge and skills related to evidence-based practice' and 'communicating and sharing evidence'. Conclusion: The study findings provide useful information for understanding nurses' experience of using external and internal evidence along with their meaning. A multidimensional approach is needed to overcome barriers to and implement evidence-based practice.

  • 이 논문에서 우리는 OARTS(Object based Approach for Real-Time Systems)를 위한 시나리오를 표현하는 방법과 명세언어 및 확인기법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 지금까지 방법론 차원의 시나리오를 다루지 않았기 때문에 일반적인 모델링기법(사건추적도)에 명세언어와 확인방법을 포함한다. 본 논문은 객체에 기초한 통신 인터페이스인 외부 모듈 천이의 동기를 중심으로 내부 액션 천이와 외부 사건들의 열의 표현에 중점을 둔다. 실제의 예를 통하여 제안된 방법이 분석 단계의 요구사항들을 잘 반영하였으며 개념적인 확인기를 통하여 그 표현의 정당성을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 이 방법은 일반적인 실시간 시나리오를 표현하기 위한 분석 도구로도 이용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • This study is a qualitative case study aiming at understanding and finding out influential factors and barriers when school teachers choose Environmental Education as their Creative Discretionary Activities. To do this, this study focuses on the process of two teachers' choices of the Creative Discretionary Activities in two other elementary schools. The results of this research are follows. Two teachers' choices are affected by several influential factors, divided into external factors and internal factors. External influential factors include culture of school and education, media, chief education officers, parents and school. Internal influential factors are teachers' value and philosophy of education, teachers' experiences, teachers' capacity. These influential factors' forces aren't the same with each other. These influential factors, are influenced by educational, social, national, local, and school level indicated by Taylor et al's (1974) classification criterion. Especially, however, Korea's particular educational environment focusing on university entrance examination strongly affects teachers' choice. School factors also has a big strong effect on teachers' choice. Among others internal actors are the most serious influential factor affecting on teachers' choice.

  • 기업은 경쟁우위를 확보하고 지속적인 성장을 이끌기 위해 기술개발을 위한 R&D 투자 및 혁신활동에 집중해야 한다. 그러나, 기업의 이러한 활동은 언제나 성공하는 것이 아니며, 기술개발의 위험도가 높고 이익의 전용가능성이 낮거나 기업내부의 역량이나 자원이 부족할 경우, 기업의 혁신활동은 저해되기 쉽다. 이러한 상황에서 외부파트너와의 연구협력은 이러한 문제들을 해결할 수 있는 좋은 전략이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국의 제조업체를 대상으로 각 기업이 기술혁신을 위해 연구협력을 선택할 때 어떤 요인들이 연구 협력결정에 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 이를 위해서 과학기술정책연구원(STEPI)에서 수행한 기술혁신조사 데이터를 활용하였으며, 분석결과 기업의 규모가 클수록, 과거의 연구 협력경험이 많을수록, 하이테크 기업에 속한 기업일수록 연구협력을 통해 제품혁신을 수행하는 것으로 나타났으며, 혁신실패의 위험성, 자금조달의 어려움, 조직내부의 역량부족, 외부환경요인 등과 같은 혁신활동저해요소들은 제품혁신활동 수행시 외부와의 연구협력에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • This study analyzed the personal characteristics of the SW industry workers and investigated how these individual characteristics affect the satisfaction of job satisfaction. In addition, we examined how satisfaction with these jobs varies according to satisfaction with internal control and external compensation. This study surveyed the employees of SW industry in Seoul and Daegu from September 15 to October 15, 2017. The results of this study are as follows. First, personal characteristics have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Second, extroversion, openness, friendliness and integrity have a significant effect on job satisfaction. This is consistent with the previous study (Park and Song, 2005), which suggests that people with extroversion are more likely to feel positive emotions such as joy. In addition, it is believed that open empathy has a tendency to share with others in work, and positive emotions in work have a significant influence because they show high achievement in work. A friendly person places great importance on a comfortable and harmonious relationship with others, so he builds and maintains good relationships with the members of the organization by trusting others in the organization. Third, nervousness showed no significant effect on job satisfaction. This is consistent with the previous study (Yoo, 1987) in which the more nervousness is, the more unpleasant emotions work and the more negative emotions and negative experiences occur. Fourth, personal characteristics have positive effects on job satisfaction in the moderating effects of intrinsic compensation and external compensation. There is a difference in job satisfaction due to intrinsic compensation and external compensation.

기상 및 환경 센서 데이터 기반 생육 환경 최적화 연구 (Optimization of Growth Environments Based on Meteorological and Environmental Sensor Data)

  • This study aimed to analyze the environmental factors affecting tomato growth by examining the correlation between weather and growth environment sensor data from P Smart Farm located in Gwangseok-myeon, Nonsan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. Key environmental variables such as the temperature, humidity, sunlight hours, solar radiation, and daily light integral (DLI) significantly affect tomato growth. The optimal temperature and DLI conditions play crucial roles in enhancing tomato growth and the photosynthetic efficiency. In this study, we developed a model to correct and predict the time-series variations in internal environmental sensor data using external weather sensor data. A linear regression analysis model was employed to estimate the external temperature variations and internal DLI values of P Smart Farm. Then, regression equations were derived based on these data. The analysis verified that the estimated variations in external temperature and internal DLI are explained effectively by the regression models. In this research, we analyzed and monitored smart-farm growth environment data based on weather sensor data. Thereby, we obtained an optimized model for the temperature and light conditions crucial for tomato growth. Additionally, the study emphasizes the importance of sensor-based data analysis in dynamically adjusting the tomato growth environment according to the variations in weather and growth conditions. The observations of this study indicate that analytical solutions using public weather data can provide data-driven operational experiences and productivity improvements for small- and medium-sized facility farms that cannot afford expensive sensors.

제세동 시행도구에 따른 제세동 지연시간의 변화 (The Changes of Defibrillation Time Depending on the Manual External Defibrillator Device)

  • Objectives: This study is to research delay time comparison for later defibrillation after hands off according to the changes in defibrillation electrodes. Study purpose: In defibrillation treatment that is the only way for cardiac arrest by arrhythmia, it is to find defibrillator device which can minimize late defibrillation delay time after important affect of hands off. Study object and method: After hands off according to the defibrillator device, we collected total 40 people for emergency medicine doctor, internal medicine doctor, general surgeon, nurse, emergency medical technician who are working at 2 CN, CS University hospitals in Gwangju Jeollanamdo district to find out hand off shock interval(HOSI). We then researched their general properties like occupation sector, experiences in clinic, gender, completion of AHA ACLS-P training and more. Then 40 participants continued ventricular fibrillation cardiac arrest simulation training (using human-model mannequin) designed by researcher and performed their roles as defibrillation operator. Each of participant used manual paddle and performed 4 times of defibrillation (150J) during 8 minutes of CPR and in 8day, the defibrillator devices were replaced from manual paddle to self-adhesive electrodes pads and 4 times of defibrillation (150J) under same simulation condition as manual paddle were performed. Study result: In comparison for delay time of later defibrillation after hands off of manual paddle and self adhesive electrodes pad, the self adhesive electrodes pad ($7.0{\pm}0.5sec$) seemed to reduce delay time of later defibrillation significantly (p<0.05) compared to manual paddle ($10.0{\pm}0.9sec$). The self adhesive electrodes pad, according to the general properties of participants, had no particular change in delay time after later defibrillation for the statistics (p>0.05) but the manual paddle had statistically significant differences for the occupation sector, experiences in clinic and gender (p<0.05). Conclusion: In defibrillation, the self adhesive electrodes pad($7.0{\pm}0.5sec$) showed short HOSI compared to manual paddle ($10.0{\pm}0.9sec$) significantly (p<0.05) and it applied identically for both existence and non-existence of ACLS-P training completion, experiences in clinic, gender and occupation sector. The manual paddle had also significant difference in experiences in clinic and occupation sector (p<0.05). which means the effect on HOSI according to the job mastery. Therefore, if the clinic experience is short or in case for the occupations without frequent defibrillation treatment has a danger of lowering success rate for the defibrillation using manual paddle. Therefore, it is true that using self adhesive electrodes pad for defibrillation electrodes when performing manual defibrillation in pre-hospital as well as in-hospital steps can generally minimize delay time of later defibrillation after hands off.

  • In this paper, the stress analysis of the cast iron insert of spent nuclear fuel disposal canister in a deep repository at 500m underground is done for the underground pressure variation. Since the nuclear fuel disposal usually emits much heat and radiation, its careful treatment is required. And so a long term safe repository at a deep bedrock is used. Under this situation, the canister experiences some mechanical external loads such as hydrostatic pressue of underground water, swelling pressure of bentonite, sudden rock movement etc.. Hence, the canister should be designed to withstand these loads. The cast iron insert of the canister mainly supports these loads. Therefore, the stress analysis of the cast iron insert is done to determine the design variables such as the diameter versus length of canister and the number and array type of inner baskets in this paper, The linear static structural analysis is done using the finite element analysis method. And the finite element analysis code, NISA, is used for the computation.

  • Throughout the practical process engineering design and commissioning 8E startup experiences focused on chemical process safety, the review of design and installation of the thermal relief valve with its surrounding facility in a chemical plant piping system is made to help the better understanding of the piping system of characteristics of thermal relief valve which Is consisting of theoretical approach, correlation in terms of temperature and pressure increase caused by external heat supply in a piping system, consideration of thermal relief valve design, pressure relieving system of serial thermal relief valves and exception of their installation. It is earnestly recommended that following topic should be implemented during thermal relief valve design, installation and normal operation as well.

Research on non-destructive testing technology for existing bridge pile foundations

  • Pile foundations of existing bridges lie in soil and water environment for long term and endure relatively heavy vertical loads, thus prone to damages, especially after stricken by external forces, such as earthquake, collision, soil heap load and etc., and the piles may be injured to certain degrees as well. There is a relatively complete technical system for quality inspection of new bridge pile foundations without structures on the top. However, there is no mature technical standard in the engineering community for the non-destructive testing technology specific to the existing bridge pile foundations. The quality of bridge pile foundations has always been a major problem that plagues bridge maintenance. On the basis of many years' experiences in test engineering and theoretical studies, this study developed a new type of detection technology and equipment for the existing bridge piles.
