기계구조용 탄소강(SM20C)의 단속절삭시 칩의 형상 및 공구손상관찰 (Observation of Chip Shape and Tool Damage with Interrupted Cutting of Carbon Steel for Machine Structures(SM20C))

  • In interrupted cutting, the workpiece has a groove that impacts both the cutting tool and the workpiece. Therefore, cutting tool damage occurs rapidly. In this study, I performed interrupted cutting of carbon steel for machine structures (SM20C) using an uncoated carbide tool (SNMG120404, P20), and observed tool damage, cutting chip shape, and the workpiece surface. Results: Under the specific cutting conditions of feed rate = 0.066 mm/rev, cutting speed = 120 m/min, and depth of cut = 0.1 mm; and feed rate = 0.105 mm/rev, cutting speed = 120 m/min, and depth of cut = 0.2 mm, the observed tool damage was small. Similar chip shape was observed (Expt. No. 1, 3, 7). Workpiece damage was observed (Expt. No. 3, 5, 7, 9).

  • To investigate the influence of feeding Enviro on noxious gas of environmental controlled poultry house and performance of broiler chicks. Diets contained 21.5, 19.00 CP and 3,100, 3,200 kcal/kg ME, respectively for starting and finishing period. Enviro were supplemented with 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3% in Expt 1and 2, respectively. CO$_2$and ammonia gas were periodically detected for finishing period in Expt 1. Weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion(FC) were measured for five weeks in Expt. 2. ND antibody titer were also measured after primary and booster vaccination at two and four weeks old. In Expt 1, chicks fed 0.2% Enviro showed 32.8ppm and 1719 ppm of ammonia gas, CO$_2$in poultry house and significantly decrease compared to that of control(P<0.05). Weight gain of chicks fed 0.1 and 0.2% Enviro was significantly increased for starting period(P<0.05) but was not statistically different for finishing period. Feed intake was no significantly different of all treatments. Chicks showed lower FC in 0.3% Enviro treatment for starting period(P<0.05) than others, but was not for finishing period. ND AB titet of chicks fed Enviro was prone to be higher than control, but was not significantly different. The results of these experiments indicated that 0.1% Enviro supplement would be maximize the performance of broiler chicks.

고지방식이 유도된 흰쥐의 혈액지질 및 간에 관한 파리유충 추출물의 효과 (Effects of Fly Maggot Extracts on the Liver and Plasma Lipid in Rat Fed High-Fat Diets)

  • The bioactive effects of ethanol extracts from fly maggot (ME) on reduction of plasma lipids levels in rats fed high-fat diets (Expt. Ⅰ), and on liver function recovery of hepatotoxicity rats by intraperitoneal injection of carbon tetrachloride ($CCl_4$) or by orally administration of alcohol (Expt. II) were investigated. In expt. I, twenty seven, male rat SDS(sprague dawley strain) were randomly assigned to three treated groups, including normal control group, HF (group with high fat diets which have no extracts) and HFE (HF plus orally administered doses of ME extract at 5.0 mg/100g of body weight). In expt. II, forty five, male rats (SDS) were randomly assigned to each of the five groups: T1 (control), T2 (intraperitoneal injection of $CCl_4$), T3 (intraperitoneal injection of $CCl_4$ after orally administered with ME), T4 (orally administered with combination of ME and alcohol), T5 (orally administration of ME after orally administered with alcohol). There were significant decreases in plasma (TAG), (TC), (LDL-C) in the HFE group with orally administered doses of ME at 5.0 mg/100g of body weight, respectively, however, the (HDL-C) were significantly increased in HFE group as compared to HF group with high fat diets which have no extracts (p<0.05). The levels of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), ${\gamma}$-glutamyl transferse(${\gamma}$-GTP) and bilirubin were highest in T2 or T3, and high in order T4 or T5, and lowest in T1 except for bilirubin which has same with T4, T5 (p<0.05). The high recovery of liver damage by $CCl_4$ from the light microscopic appearance was observed in rats (T3) with extracts, and also high in T4 than T5 by orally administrated with alcohol. In conclusion, the ethanol extracts from fly maggot may have a bioactive effects to prevent for human lipids disorder and alcoholic disease.

하이드로볼 배지경 아쿠아포닉스에서 사육수 및 상추 잎의 무기이온 농도 구명 (Determination of Mineral Nutrient Concentrations in Fish Growing Water and Lettuce Leaf for Hydroball Aquaphonics)

  • 하이드로볼 배지경 아쿠아포닉스에서 상추의 엽과 수조내 무기이온 함량 변화를 구명하기 위하여 실험 1은 간이 NFT 시스템에 여과기를 장착한 후 물고기 12마리 사육한 처리구(F12)와 여과기 없이 하이드로볼 배지를 장착하고 물고기 12마리를 재배한 처리구(H12), 여과기를 장착하고 하이드로볼에 상추 모종 6주를 심고 물고기 12마리를 재배한 처리구(FHP12)와 여과기 없이 하이드로볼에 상추 6주를 심고 물고기 12마리를 재배한 처리구(HP12)로 설정하였고, 실험 2는 간이 NFT에 여과기를 장착하고 하이드로볼을 장착한 후 식물 없이 물고기 15마리 사육한 처리구(FH15)와 여과기를 장착하고 하이드로볼에 상추 6주를 심고 물고기 15마리를 사육한 처리구(FHP15)로 설정하였다. 실험 1, 2의 모든 처리구에서 재배 동안사육수 pH가 낮아졌고 pH와 EC는 식물 재배구에서 더 낮았다. 실험 2의 FHP15 처리구의 사육수 내 무기이온 농도를 수경재배의 양액농도와 비교하였을 때 NO3-N과 P은 더 높았고 K는 16%, Ca은 49%, Mg은 82% 수준이었고 Fe는 불검출 수준이었다. FHP15 처리구에서 생산된 상추 생체중은 상품성 중량의 1/3(38g)수준이었다. 엽내 T-N과 P 함량은 적정수준에 근접하였고 K와 Fe 함량은 적정 미만이었으나 결핍증상은 없었다.

린코마이신과 남은 음식물의 첨가.급여가 육계의 생산성 및 혈액의 성상에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Dietary Supplemental Lincomycin and Food Waste on Performance and Blood Components of Broiler Chicks)

  • These studies were conducted to investigate the effect of dietary supplemental lincomycin at different food waste supplements on performance and blood components of broiler chicks. Diets were based corn, soybean meal and contained 3,100㎉/kg ME, 21% CP for the rest two weeks. Three levels of dietary lincomycin(LM ; 0, 2.2, 4.4 mg/kg) and food waste(FW : 0, 7.5, 15%) were added for both experiments. Weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion ratio(FCR) were measured for five weeks. Blood components, liver weight and abdominal fat ratio to body weight were examined at the end of experiment. Metabolizable energy of food waste used in formulating diet prior to feeding trials were measured 2,504(Expt 1) and 2,734㎉/kg(Expt 2), respectively. In Expt 1, weight gain of birds fed 4.4mg/kg LM was significantly higher than that of no LM treatment(P〈0.05). It also tended to increase in 7.5% food waste treatment compared to that of control but was not significantly different. FCR of chicks fed 2.2mg/kg LM supplement was significantly improved compared to that of other treatments. However, chicks fed food waste supplements had higher FCR than control as a dietary FW level increased(P〈0.05). There were no significance in blood components of all treatments. Liver to body weight ratio of birds fed 7.5% FW supplements decreased significantly(P〈0.05), but was no consistency in LM treatments. In Expt 2, weight gain of chicks fed 15% FW was not significantly different from the control and 7.5% FW. It tended to increase as dietary supplemental LM increased. It also increased in no LM treatment with 15% FW compared to that of control. However, the birds fed 2.2mg/kg LM with 15% FW exhibited higher weight gain than dther treatments. As FW supplement increased, the feed intake increased significantly(P〈0.05). There were no significance in blood components except serum calcium. Weights of liver were not affected by dietary FW or LM. The results of these experiments indicated that chicks fed 4.4mg/kg LM supplements maximized growth rate of all treatments and improved FCR in 2.2mg/kg LM.

Effects of Feeding Rice Protein Concentrate on Growth Performance and Ileal Digestibility in Early-weaned Pigs

  • These experiments were conducted to evaluate the feeding value of rice protein concentrate (RPC) in weaning pigs. In expt. I, a 5-week feeding trial was conducted with 126 pigs (L${\times}$Y${\times}$D; 21 d-old; 5.32${\pm}$0.34 kg). Treatments were spray-dried plasma protein (SDPP; control), soy protein concentrate (SPC) and RPC (phase 1), and dried porcine soluble (DPS; control), SPC and RPC (phase 2). An ileal digestibility trial was also conducted to compare digestibility of amino acids in the tested protein sources. In expt. II, 160 weaning pigs (L${\times}$Y${\times}$D; 21 d-old; 5.65${\pm}$0.35 kg) were used in a 5-week feeding trial to determine the optimal inclusion level of RPC in the diet. Treatments were control (9% SPC), and three levels of RPC instead of SPC in the diets (3, 6 and 9%). During phase 1, pigs fed SDPP showed better (p<0.05) ADG and FCR compared with those fed SPC or RPC, while there was no difference in ADFI among treatments. During phase 2, however, pigs fed DPS showed lower (p<0.05) ADG than those fed SPC or RPC. During the total period, there were no significant differences in ADG, ADFI and FCR among treatments. The apparent ileal digestibilities of his, lys, phe, thr and met were not different among the tested protein sources. The apparent ileal digestibilities of arg, ile, leu and val were lower (p<0.05) in RPC than SDPP. The true ileal digestibilities of arg and leu were lower (p<0.05) in RPC than SDPP and SPC. However, that of met was higher (p<0.05) in RPC than SDPP. In expt. II, there were no significant differences in ADG and FCR when SPC was substituted with RPC up to 9% during the total period. In conclusion, based on our experimental results, RPC would replace SPC in the complex prestarter diet, which is somewhat cheaper than SPC.

Feed intake was no significantly different of all treatments. Chicks showed lower FC in 0.3% Enviro treatment for starting period(P〈0.05) than others, but was not for finishing period. ND AB titer of chicks fed Enviro was prone to be higher than control, but was not significantly different. Total blood cholesterol was not significantly different of all treatments, but tended to be high in 0.1 and 0.2% Enviro treatments. HDL of chicks fed those levels showed significantly higher than control(P〈0.05), whereas LDL was tended to be decreased in those treatments. The digestibilites of crude protein and fiber were improved in 0.1 and 0.2% Enviro treatments relative to those of control, but was not statistically different. However, crude ash digestibility was significantly improved in 0.1 and 0.2% Enviro treatments(P〈0.05). Chicks also showed AMEn in 0.1, 0.2% Enviro treatments, but was no significance. The results of these experiments indicated that 0.1% Enviro supplement would be maximize the performance of broiler chicks.

  • Monascus Purpures(MP)의 수준별 급여가 육계의 성장과 계란의 품질 및 난황에 미치는 영향을 고찰하고자 사양실험을 실행하였다. 실험 1에서 1일령 육계 수컷 320수를 이용하여 사료내 MP는 0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0% 수준으로 처리구당 4반복 반복당 16수씩 전체 320수에 5주간 급여하였다. 증체량, 사료섭취량, 사료요구율은 주간별로 측정하였으며, 혈청의 콜레스테롤, 단백질함량은 실험 종료시에 측정하였다. 실험 2에서는 32주령 산란계 30수를 처리구당 6수씩 개체별로 수용하여 사료내 MP가 0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0%수준으로 4주간 급여하였다. 조사항목은 난각강도, 난각두께, 호유닛, 계란의 콜레스테롤을 주간별로 측정하였다. 실험 1에서 기초사료는 사육 전기 3주와 후기 2주간에 각각 CP 21.5, 19.0%, ME 3,100, 3,200 kca1/kg수준으로 급여하였다. 실험 2에서는 CP 16%, ME 2,800 kca1/kg 수준으로 급여하였다. 실험 1에서 증체량은 2.0%MP 처리구에서 대조구에 비하여 현저하게 개선되었으며, 사료요구율은 처리구간에 통계적인 차이는 없었지만 1.0, 2.0% MP처리구에서 대조구보다 개선되는 경향을 보였다. 혈청의 콜레스테롤은 MP 2.0% 급여구에서 낮은 경향을 보였지 만 처리구간에 통계적인 차이는 없었다. 실험 2에서 난백의 높이와 호유닛은 0.1과 0.2%MP 처리구에서 다른 처리구보다 높게 나타났지만 통계적인 차이는 없었다.

  • 재식밀도를 달리하여 소향을 공시하고 생육, 수양 및 품질에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 2개년(1979, 1980)동안 시험한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 주당 절대 생장양과 액아 발생량은 소식구보다 밀식구에서 적었다. 2. 엽면적은 소식일수록 컸으나 엽면적지수는 밀식구에서 컸으며 단위 엽면적중은 처리간에 차가 인정되지 않았다. 3. 상대생장률은 소식일수록 후기 생육이 계속되었고, 초형은 밀식인 경우에 양분경합으로 상위엽의 전개가 저해되었으나, 수광율은 본, 상엽에서 광합성작용에 충분한 것으로 보였다. 4. 모용수, Total alkaloid 및 Total nitrogen 함량은 밀식구에서 적었고, 세포간극율, Total sugar 함량은 처리간에 차이가 없었다. 5. 수량은 밀식할수록 많아지는 경향이었으며, 품질은 처리간에 차이가 인정되지 않았다. 따라서 16,666주보다 밀식하여도 품질면에서 지장이 없을것으로 생각된다.
