  • Systems engineering test and evaluation technology development program for (Korea) Express Tilting Train(TTX) system in progress is a national large system development program that is not only a large-size and complex but also multi-disciplinary in nature. For the TTX test and evaluation technology development, verification requirements that could verify system function and performance, should be derived from system specification. Hereafter, this could be listed as items of test. System engineering process establish traceability between items of test and system requirements. These tasks could be accomplished by the schema. Using the Core, a system engineering tool, TTX program could be database and similar other system could be developed effectively and efficiency

  • Tilting system allow the train to pass curve at higher speed without affecting passenger comfort. As the tilting trains offer the optimum means of providing faster and more comportable rail service with minimum of environmental disturbance and capital investment, more than 14 countries have now adopted or are about to adopt tilting train technology. The Korean National Railroad is also planing to apply faster tilting train to the areas where the High speed rail service are not provided. This paper shows the concept design of Bogie and Tilting system for 180 km/h Express tilting train for Korean conventional line, which was done as a part of the KNR's R&D project.

  • April, 2004, Korea Train Express construction project has accomplished and opened over 10 year terms of huge works. This is a case study focused on the Exterior lighting effect of new & reconstruction works at the Central station opened recently, and the lighting display process of the subsidiary facilities. The comparison with the renowned international stations would be provided for the better installation methods. And the result of case study, it will go far toward improving the Lighting display process.

  • This paper dealt with a component test of train control and management system(TMS) developed for korean tilting train express(TTX). This system that is established on TTX monitors and controls action of various devices by running of the train. Also, to performance estimation of the TMS, it is essential to verify a composition and function of TMS. Therefore, this study reviewed standards related on a component test of the TMS and confirmed test items, test conditions and evaluation basis on a Component Test. Running Test of TTX can verify performance of TMS and communications with other devices and secure reliability of TMS.

  • The railway vehicle has an auxiliary power unit for supplying power to the associated electronic control devices and passenger service unit. Typically, input voltage from the catenary for rolling stock is highly fluctuating according to the substation capacity, vehicle propulsion and regeneration. Especially, the frost and freezing on contact wire in winter can cause a blackout inside vehicle, and also brings about electronic components damaging and the system down. To prevent this problem, a large filter and capacitor is used. But this is not a perfect solution, because it is increasing weight of the unit. In this paper, a new algorithm is proposed to suppress the disturbance without adding devices. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has performance to suppress the disturbance at the sudden input voltage variations.

  • Recent social needs for promoting traffic safety increased and the demand social security in economic, increasing the demand for environmentally friendly rail transport. In particular, when train express such as to secure reliability KTX(Korea Train eXpress) from potential disaster(fire) in the train operation caused by the train express running has been very important. Railroad fire extinguishing system is operated to fire exploding before reaching the flashing point more important than early to quickly detect because of CAN(Controller Area Network) communication to fire suppression and fire receiver, interface, fire fighting equipment from HMI((Human Machine Interface) and fire high-performance to research and development for intelligent composite fire receiver is required.

  • 본 논문에서는 node.js에서 제공하는 oracledb, express, ejs 모듈을 이용해 데이터베이스에 저장되어 있는 철도 패턴 데이터를 라우터를 통해 정해진 경로로 전달하여 ejs 파일로 작성된 페이지에 접근하여 출력하는 웹 애플리케이션을 구현하고자 한다. 웹 애플리케이션의 사용으로 철도 데이터를 필요로 하는 기업이나 사용자가 보다 쉽고 빠르게 데이터를 확인하고, 이를 원하는 방향으로 이용할 수 있다.

  • 대도시 고밀도 도시철도에서는 상습 열차운행 지연과 혼잡으로 승객의 불편과 불만이 커지고 있다. 도시철도는 열차운행의 비정규성과 수요의 불확정성 등 지역간 철도와는 다른 특성을 가지고 있다. 도시철도 운영회사에서는 실적자료를 기반으로 열차운행품질과 혼잡도와 같은 서비스품질을 집계하여 관리하고 있다. 그러나 수요와 승객행태에 따라 열차운행이 동적으로 변하는 특성을 가지고 있어 실제 느끼는 서비스품질을 표현하기에는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 승객 관점에서의 서비스품질을 계량화하고, 도시철도에서 수요에 따른 정차시분 및 열차운행상태의 동적변화를 예측할 수 있는 시뮬레이션 방법과 지연/혼잡 해소방안에 대한 실제 사례를 기반으로 운행서비스품질의 변화를 예측할 수 있는 방법론을 제시한다.

광역도시권 철도운영기관의 효율성 및 생산성 분석 연구 (An Analysis of Efficiency and Productivity of Metropolitan Urban Railway Corporation)

  • 본 연구에서는 지방공기업으로 운영하고 있는 6개의 운영기관의 2010년부터 2014년도의 자료를 가지고 DEA-CCR모형과 Malmquist 생산성 지수를 이용하여 운영기관의 효율성 변화와 생산성 변화요인을 분석하였다. 운영기관을 전체적으로 통합하여 운영기관별 효율성을 분석하였으며, 생산성 변화의 추이를 살펴보고자 Malmquist 생산성 분석을 이용하여 기간별 변화를 살펴보았다. 효율성 분석결과 각 도시철도 운영기관별 평균효율성은 대체로 규모가 큰 기관이 효율성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 2014년에는 서울메트로와 대전도시철도공사가 가장 효율적인 운영기관으로 분석되었다. Malmquist 생산성 분석을 이용하여 기간별 변화를 살펴본 결과, MPI는 평균 1.06으로 생산성이 계속해서 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. 6개 운영기관 모두 기술효율성 변화보다는 기술변화가 대체로 높은 것으로 분석되었다.

  • Recent development of related technologies and efficient utilization of the entire country for the purpose of railway construction, and plans are being accelerated. the railway noise has been improved by increasing the high speed railway station, and accelerating the existing trains. Nord2000 which is an overseas noise prediction equation could not be applied directly to the domestic railway vehicles. So the specific vehicles in the Nordic countries which is a similar specification to domestic trains should be selected. Nord2000's accuracy was compared to Schall03, CRN's. Prediction of Ground impedance and Roughness class were carried out at different. In this paper, the result of selected vehicles for Nord2000 was as follows. S-1aX2 was for express trains, N-$^*2c$-3b was for Mugunghwa, S-Pass/wood was for Saemaul, N-4a was for freight trains, N-3a was for subway, the calculation time for Nord2000 took longer than others, in addition, Ground absorption was indispensable to calculate a noise map for Nord2000. As a result, CRN's prediction noise levels at Wonju-si was closest to the measurements. However, the predicted noise levels of Nord2000 was the most accurate.
