패텐인식과 인텍스집합을 이용한 무한전력/전압 전문가 시스템 (A Knowledge Based System for Reactive Power/Voltage control Based on Pattern Recognition and Set of Indices)

  • This paper presents a knowledge based system to solve reactive power/voltage control problem in a power system. The methods to reduce inference time are proposed in inferring the solution of problem in the knowledge base which consists of heuristic rules and inowledge of experts. A set of indices drawn from the heuristic knowledge on the power system is utilized to make up for the defect of existing knowledge based systems which determine both the location and the amount of reactive power compensation devices. The concept of set of indices developed in this paper makes it possible to infer the amount of reactive power source only since the bus order list representing priority for the location of reactive power compensator to be switched on can be determined in advance. From the fact that there exists a relationship between the system voltage pattern and the reactive power pattern in operation, the pattern recognition technique is introduced to reduce the inference time in solving the severe voltage problem. To demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed knowledge based system, the IEEE 30 bus system is chosen as a sample system. The results of case study are also presented.

  • In recent years, big data has usefully been deployed by organizations with the aim of getting a better prediction for the future. Moreover, knowledge management systems are being used by organizations to identify and create knowledge. Here, the output from analysis of big data and a knowledge management system are used to develop a new model with the goal of minimizing the cost of implementing new recognized processes including staff training, transferring and employment costs. Strategies are proposed from big data analysis and new processes are defined accordingly. The company requires various skills to execute the proposed processes. Organization's current experts and their skills are known through a pre-established knowledge management system. After a gap analysis, managers can make decisions about the expert arrangement, training programs and employment to bridge the gap and accomplish their goals. Finally, deduction graph is used to analyze the model.

  • We present a framework of an intelligent design system for embodiment design of machine tools which can support efficiently and systematically the machine design by utilizing design knowledge such as objects(part), know-how, public, evaluation, and procedures. The design knowledge of machining center has been accumulated through interview with design experts of machine tool companies. The processes of embodiment design of machining center are established and represented by the IDEF0 model from the field surveys. We also introduce a hybrid knowledge representation so that the system can easily deal with various and complicated design knowledge. The intelligent design system is being developed on the basis of object-oriented programming, and all parts of a design object, machining center, are also classified by the object-oriented modeling.

요양보호사의 치매에 대한 지식, 태도 및 교육요구도 분석 (Analysis of Knowledge About, Attitude Toward, and Educational Needs for Dementia in Certified Caregivers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was first to identify knowledge about, attitude toward, and educational needs for dementia in certified caregivers; secondly, to understand the relationships among those variables; and thirdly, to provide base-line data for education program development. Methods: The participants in this study were 670 certified caregivers who were working in nursing homes or care hospitals throughout the whole of the country and engaged in education programs for improvement of their professional abilities. Collected data were analyzed using t-tests, ANOVA, Duncan, and Pearson's correlation coefficients with the SPSS 18.0 for Windows Program. Results: The scores for knowledge about, attitude toward, and educational needs for dementia were $14.12{\pm}2.83$ out of 20, $42.27{\pm}5.54$ out of 50 (item mean 4.22), and $121.51{\pm}22.13$ out of 160 (item mean 3.79) respectively. There were statistically significant positive correlations between knowledge and attitude (r=.238, p<.001), educational needs (r=.083, p=.032), and attitude and educational needs (r=.244, p<.001). Conclusion: Tailored and continuous educational programs for certified caregivers that can improve knowledge about the causes and symptoms of dementia should be developed. Nurses and professors who are experts in dementia should be on the front lines of education for caregivers.

Web2.0환경의 교육적 UCC 개발과 지식창출방안에 관한 연구 (Educational UCC Development and Knowledge Creation Strategy in Web 2.0)

  • The characteristic of Web 2.0 is openness, participation, share, cooperation and creation. The purpose of this article was to identify learner based knowledge creation strategy through UCC in Web 2.0, to develop UCC by university students and to make systematic UCC process. This article suggested knowledge creation strategy with UCC learning Community of Practice(CoP). UCC was developed by 25 students who registered e-learning in "P" university and conducted interview with students and experts to analyze the contents which related with research questions. Systematic process for developing educational UCC was consisted of sectors such as idea creation, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Main developing process steps were as follows: making subject$\rightarrow$seeking information$\rightarrow$selecting data$\rightarrow$designing contents$\rightarrow$making story board$\rightarrow$planning of filming$\rightarrow$filming$\rightarrow$digitalizing$\rightarrow$editing$\rightarrow$reviewing final product$\rightarrow$implementing$\rightarrow$evaluating. For learner based knowledge creation through UCC, educational institutions have to provide platform for learners' need, and learners create diverse ideas with UCC CoP. This article suggested knowledge creation strategy with sharing collective intelligence through process of UCC design, development, implement and evaluation.

Investigation of a management framework for condition assessment of concrete structures based on reusable knowledge and inspection

  • Managing and reusing knowledge in engineering and construction sectors can lead to greater competitive advantage, improved designs, and more effective management of constructed facilities. The use of Information Technology (IT) in design and construction can exploit strategic opportunities for new ways of integration, sharing and facilitating information and knowledge in any field of engineering. The integrating of separate areas of IT can be used to bring a group of experts and specialists in any field of engineering closer together by allowing them to communicate and exchange information and expertise that facilitate knowledge capture, sharing, and reuse. A lack of an advisory management system and a need to marshal all available data in a common format has indicated the need for an integrated engineering computing environment to investigate concrete repair problems. The research described in this paper is based upon an evaluation management system (EMS) which comprising a database management system (REPCON) alongside visualisation technologies and evaluation system (ECON) is developed to produce an innovative platform which will facilitate and encourage the development of knowledge in educational, evolution and evaluation modes of concrete repair. This allows us to create assessment procedures that will allow the current condition of the concrete structure and its components to be expressed numerically using a confidence level (CL) so as to take the best course of action in the repair and maintenance management. The explained rating system, which is related to structural integrity and serviceability of the structure, allows the confidence level to be determined by visual inspection and the descriptive information and pictures taken from an available REPair of CONcrete (REPCON) database.

과학과 교육과정 성취기준의 인지적 영역에 대한 국어교육전공자와 과학교육전공자의 해석 차이:설명하기를 중심으로 (The Difference between the Interpretations of Korean Language Experts and Science Education Experts on the Cognitive Domain of Science Achievement Standards: Focus on 'Explain')

  • 과학과 교육과정은 모든 독자가 집필자의 의도를 정확히 해석할 수 있도록 서술되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 과학과 교육과정 성취기준에 대한 국어교육전공자의 해석을 살펴보고, 국어교육전공자와 과학교육전공자의 해석 차이가 나타나는 경우를 분석함으로써, 교과내용 전공자와 비전공자가 이해를 공유할 수 있도록 성취기준을 진술하는 방법에 대해 알아보았다. 국어교육전공자 3인은 '국어교육전공자의 과학과 성취기준 분석틀'을 이용했으며, 과학교육전공자 3인은 'TIMSS 인지적 영역 평가틀'을 기반으로 분석하였다. 두 교과의 해석차이가 나타나는 부분은 면담을 통해 그 이유를 알아보았다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 국어교육전공자와 과학교육전공자는 '설명', '분석', '정의', '인과' 등의 용어에 대한 시각차를 가지고 있었다. 성취기준이 포괄적 의미의 서술어로 진술된 경우 해석이 다양하게 분포하였으며, 과학과 성취기준이 '설명할 수 있다'의 서술어를 자주 사용하고 있음에도 불구하고 국어과의 해석에 따르면 이들 대부분이 설명하기의 하위항목보다 묘사하기의 하위 항목으로 분석되었다. 과학교육전공자는 부사어나 관형어 등으로 표현되는 과정적 지식을 강조하여 해석하는 반면 국어교육전공자는 목적어, 서술어 등 문장의 필수 요소에 강조점을 두어 해석하는 경우에 두 교과의 해석 차이가 발생하였다. 또한 과학교육전공자는 성취기준 문장에서 내용의 범위나 수준에 대한 정보가 충분히 제공되지 않은 경우 암묵적 지식을 기반으로 해석하였으나 국어교육전공자는 문장 구조에만 의존하여 표면적 의미를 해석하여 두 교과의 해석 차이가 발생했다. 교육과정에서 성취기준을 진술할 때 도달해야 할 목표 개념의 범위와 인지적 영역의 수준을 부사어 및 관형어를 포함한 행동 동사로 적확하게 기술하며, 국어교육전공자를 포함한 다양한 전공 영역의 전문가가 검토함으로써 집필자의 의도대로 해석되도록 문장 구조를 명료하게 진술하는 것이 바람직하다. 이와 같이 성취기준이 나타내고자 하는 인지적 영역을 타 교과와 연계하여 분석하고 진술함으로써 교과 융합적 개선 방안을 마련하는 것이 요구된다.

생물자원 전통지식 추출을 위한 델파이조사의 신뢰성 연구 (Reliability of Delphi survey for traditional knowledge on agricultural resources)

  • 본 연구는 문헌 및 현장에서 얻은 생물자원지식들의 가치를 평가하기 위해 전문가들을 대상으로 실시한 델파이 조사 (Delphi method)의 신뢰성을 평가하였다. 델파이조사는 전문가들이 다른 사람의 의견과 관계없이 독립적으로 전문성 있는 평가를 내린 다음에 다음 단계에서 다른 전문가들의 의견을 참고하며 자신의 의견을 수정하는 절차를 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 문헌에서 얻은 전통지식 100건, 현장에서 취득한 지식 100건 등, 모두 200건을 우선 선정한 후 전문가 6인을 선정하여 각 지식의 가치에 대하여 두 차례 평가하도록 하였다. 그 결과 두 차례의 평가점수는 연관성이 매우 높으면서 2차에서는 다른 전문가들의 의견을 수용해 어느 정도 자체수정이 발생하여 각 문항에 대한 평가점수의 표준편차가 줄어들었다. 본 조사의 신뢰성 (reliability)을 파악하기 위해 일반적인 신뢰도 계수인 크론바하 알파와 함께 일반화가능도 (generalizability) 계수를 구하였다. 이 두 신뢰도 분석을 통해 2차 평가 후 평가의 신뢰도가 상승하여 전문가에 의한 델파이 조사의 신뢰도가 매우 높다는 사실을 지지하였으나 일반화 가능도 분석 결과를 해석하는 과정에서 다른 결과를 유추할 수 있었다. 신뢰도계수가 증가하였음에도 불구하고 평가자간의 편차는 증가하여 신뢰도가 높아진 것은 평가가 상향되고 평균에 회귀하는 경향으로 잔차변동이 줄어서이지 평가자간의 의견수렴이 이루어진 결과로 볼 수는 없다는 사실이었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 신뢰도 계수와 함께 평가자 간의 분산을 파악하여 델파이조사의 추가적인 단계 (round)가 필요함을 제시하였다.

Knowledge- Evolutionary Intelligent Machine-Tools - Part 1 : Design of Dialogue Agent based on Standard Platform

  • In FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System) and CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing), machine-tools have been the target of integration in the last three decades. The conventional concept of integration is being changed into the autonomous manufacturing device based on the knowledge evolution by applying advanced information technology in which an open architecture controller, high-speed network and internet technology are included. In the advanced environment, the machine-tools is not the target of integration anymore, but has been the key subject of cooperation. In the near future, machine-tools will be more improved in the form of a knowledge-evolutionary intelligent device. The final goal of this study is to develop an intelligent machine having knowledge-evolution capability and a management system based on internet operability. The knowledge-evolutionary intelligent machine-tools is expected to gather knowledge autonomically, by producing knowledge, understanding knowledge, reasoning knowledge, making a new decision, dialoguing with other machines, etc. The concept of the knowledge-evolutionary intelligent machine is originated from the machine control being operated by human experts' sense, dialogue and decision. The structure of knowledge evolution in M2M (Machine to Machine) and the scheme for a dialogue agent among agent-based modules such as a sensory agent, a dialogue agent and an expert system (decision support agent) are presented in this paper, with intent to develop the knowledge-evolutionary machine-tools. The dialogue agent functions as an interface for inter-machine cooperation. To design the dialogue agent module in an M2M environment, FIPA (Foundation of Intelligent Physical Agent) standard platform and the ping agent based on FIPA are analyzed in this study. In addition, the dialogue agent is designed and applied to recommend cutting conditions and thermal error compensation in a tapping machine. The knowledge-evolutionary machine-tools are expected easily implemented on the basis of this study and shows a good assistance to sensory and decision support agents.

기술의 본성(NOT) 개념 틀 제안 및 과학기술공학 관련 전문가들의 인식 분석 (Suggesting the Conceptual Framework of the Nature of Technology(NOT) and Examining the Conceptions of Experts of Science, Technology, and Engineering Fields regarding the NOT)

  • 본 연구는 기술의 본성(NOT: Nature of Technology)에 대한 개념 정리를 위하여 최근 수행된 NOT 관련 문헌 연구를 통하여 포괄적인 NOT 개념 틀을 제안하고 이를 바탕으로 국내외의 과학기술공학 전문가들의 기술 개념에 대한 인식을 탐구하고자 하였다. 과학과 기술교육 영역의 다양한 NOT 관련 선행연구를 분석하여 제시된 NOT 영역은 1. 인공물로서의 기술(Technology as artifacts), 2. 지식으로서의 기술(Technology as knowledge), 3. 실행으로서의 기술(Technology as practice), 4. 시스템으로서의 기술(Technology as system), 5. 사회적 역할의 기술(The role of technology in society), 그리고 6. 기술의 역사(History of technology) 6가지로 제안되었다. 또한 제안된 6개의 NOT 영역을 기준으로 과학기술공학 전문가들 30명의 인식 분포를 조사한 결과 전문가들은 다양한 NOT 개념 중에서 3. 실행으로서의 기술, 4. 시스템으로서의 기술, 그리고 5. 사회적 역할의 기술의 3가지 영역을 주로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 NOT 선행연구에서 대중이나 학생들이 주로 기술을 '인공물로서의 기술' 또는 '응용 과학으로서의 기술'로 이해하고 있다는 결과와는 달리 과학기술공학 전문가들은 기술의 개념을 기술철학적 차원의 복잡하고 추상적인 '인간의 총체적 지식과 행위'로 이해하고 있다는 것을 보여주었다.
