조립식 좌굴방지가새형 이력댐퍼의 초기형상설계에 따른 구조성능실험 (Structural Performance Test according to Initial shape design of PF-BRB)

  • In this study, a prefabricated buckling brace (PF-BRB) was proposed, and a test specimen was manufactured based on the design formula for the initial shape and structural performance tests were performed. As a result of the experiment, all standard performance requirements presented by KDS 41 17 00 and MOE 2021 were satisfied before and after replacement of the reinforcement module, and no fracture of the joint module occurred. As a result of the incremental load test, the physical properties showed a significant difference in the stiffness ratio after yielding under the compressive load of the envelope according to the experimental results. It is judged necessary to further analyze the physical properties according to the experimental results through finite element analysis in the future.

불로환(不老丸)을 투여한 흰쥐 뇌의 항산화효과에 관한 연구 (Effect of Bulohwan-Decoction on Antioxidant Enzyme in Rat Brain)

  • Objectives: Resently Oxidative stress of brain was proved the cause of Alzheimer and stroke sequel. It has important significance in prevention and treatment of cerebropathia that Bulnohwan used as formula of senescence delay have antioxidative effect. The purposes of this study is to investigate the effect of Bulnohwan on antioxidant defense systems such as thiobarbituric acid reactive substances(TBARS), Superoxide dismutase (SOD), Catalase (CAT), Glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX), Glutathione S-transperase (GST), Glutathione (GSH) in rat brain. Method: Sprague - Dawley rats were divided into 3 groups; saline solution administered control group, Bulnohwan extract administered Experimental group I and Bulnohwan adminisrtrated, 40% dietary restricted Experimental group II. Animals were sacrificed at 12 weeks after treatment TBARS, SOD, CAT, GSH-PX, GST and GSH were measured in mts brain. Results: weight of brain was no stastical significance.(p>0.05) TBARS contents were significant decrease in Experimental group I, II. (p<0.001) SOD activity was stastical significance in Experimental group II, whereas it was no stastical significance Experimental group II.(p<0.0001) Catalase activites were significant increase in . (p<0.00l) Glutathione Peroxidase activites were significant increase in Experimental group I,II. (p<0.000l) Glutathione S-transferase activites were significant increase in Experimental group I, II. (p<0.000) However there were no statistical significance each other. Glutathione contents were significant increase in Experimental group I, II. (p<0.00l) Conclusions: According to the above results, it is considered that Bulohwan has antioxidants effect in rat brain. When Bulohwan goes with diet restriction, there has more Antioxidants effect in rat brain. but this study was perfored retrospectively. So more prospective studies about mutual relation of drugs are needed

형개련교탕(荊芥連翹湯) 추출물(抽出物)의 SD Rats에서 28일 경구(經口) 반복투여 독성시험 (28days Repeat Oral Dose Toxicity Test of 'Hyeonggaeyeongyotang' extract in SD Rats)

  • HYTE (Hyeonggaeyeongyotang Extract), a polyherbal formula has been used as folk medicine, 28days repeat oral dose toxicity was tested in SD rats according to KFDA Guideline[2005-60]. Methods : In this study, mortality, clinical signs, body weight and gains, food and water consumption, ophthalmologic observation, urinalysis, hematology, serum biochemistry, gross findings, organ weight and histopathological observations were conducted during 28days of dosing periods. Results: 1. No HYTE treatment-related mortalities and clinical signs were detected in all dosing levels tested in male and female rats during the whole experimental periods. 2. No HYTE treatment-related changes on body weight, gains and food consumption were detected in all dosing levels tested in male and female rats during the whole experimental periods except for 2000mg/kg-dosing female groups in which significantly increase of body weight, gains, food and water consumption were detected compared to that of vehicle control in some points. 3. No HYTE treatment-related changes on ophthalmologic examination were detected in all dosing levels tested in male and female rats. 4. No HYTE treatment-related changes on urinalysis were detected in all dosing levels tested in male and female rats except for 2000mg/kg-dosing female groups in which, significantly increase of urine volume and related decrease on the urine specific gravity were detected as secondary effects of increase on the water consumptions not HYTE treatment-related toxicological signs. 5. No HYTE treatment-related changes on hematology were detected in all dosing levels tested in male and female rats except for increases in the total WBC count and lymphocytes of 2000mg/kg-dosing male and female groups with decrease of large unstained cells as pharmacological effects of immune enhancements not HYTE treatment-related toxicological signs. 6. No HYTE treatment-related changes on serum biochemistry were detected in all dosing levels tested in male and female rats. 7. No HYTE treatment-related changes on gross findings, organ weight and histopathology were detected in all dosing levels tested in male and female rats except for 2000mg/kg-dosing male and female groups in which, spleen and thymus organ weights, hypertrophy at gross observation and hyperpalsia of lymphoid cells and follicles at histopathological observation in spleen and thymus were detected as pharmacological effects of immune enhancements not HYTE treatment-related toxicological signs. Conclusions : Based on these results, the NOAEL and MTD of HYTE in SD rats were considered as over 2000mg/kg, respectively at 28days repeat oral dose toxicity test because most of these findings were considered as results of pharmacological effects of immune enhancements not HYTE treatment-related toxicological signs or secondary effects.

2면전단시험법에 의한 무근 HVFAC 콘크리트의 전단강도 평가 (An Evaluation of Shear Strength of Plain HVFAC Concrete by Double Shear Test Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 플라이애시 첨가량과 콘크리트 압축강도를 실험변수로 설정하여 하이볼륨 플라이애시 시멘트를 사용한 무근 콘크리트의 2면전단거동에 관한 실험을 수행한 후, 하이볼륨 플라이애시 시멘트 콘크리트의 전단특성을 파악하고자 하였다. 실험 결과, 전단 강도의 변화는 일반적으로 알려진 것과 유사하게 압축 강도의 증가에 따라 증가하는 경향이 나타났다. 콘크리트 구조설계기준(KCI, 2007)에서 제안한 콘크리트 전단강도 식은 실험결과와 유사한 경향을 보이고 있어 다량 치환된 플라이애시 시멘트 콘크리트의 전단강도는 콘크리트 구조설계기준에서 제시하고 있는 식을 준용하여도 큰 문제는 없을 것으로 예상된다. 한편 플라이애시 첨가율에 따른 다량 치환된 플라이애시 시멘트 콘크리트의 전단강도는 플라이애시 첨가율을 고려한 경우가 첨가율을 고려하지 않은 경우보다 훨씬 더 높은 상관성을 가지는 것으로 나타나, 비록 플라이애시 첨가율을 고려하지 않아도 현행 설계기준 식에 적절하기는 하지만 좀 더 상관성이 높은 식을 제안하였다.

탁리소독음 피부외용제형의 급성경피독성시험, 피부자극시험 및 안점막자극시험 (Acute toxicity, Dermal and Ocular Irritation Studies of Taglisodog-eum ointment)

  • Objectives : Taglisodog-eum(TSE), a poly herbal formula, has been widely used to improve carbuncles by removing inflammation of the lymphatic channels in Traditional Korean Medicine. We previousely reported the action mechanism of TSE on experimental atopic dermatitis and the establishment of formulation for TSE ointment. In this study, we examined the toxicity test on skin and eye irritation by TSE ointment to prove the safety of Taglisodog-eum ointment in clinical use. Methods : Acute skin toxicity of the TSE ointment was evaluated in Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats. After dermal administration of TSE ointment(2,000mg/kg), body weight, mortality, and clinical signs of the rats were observed for 14days. Primary skin irritation and ocular irritation tests for TSE ointment were performed in male New Zealand White Rabbits. In dermal and ocular irritation test, body weight, mortality, clinical signs, Primary Irritation Index(P.I.I.), and The Index of Acute Ocular Irritaion(I.A.O.I.) of rabbit were observed after applying at abraded skin and eye balls with Taglisodog-eum ointment. Results : In the results of acute skin toxicity, no significant differences were found in body weight, the clinical sign and the mortality between control and TSE ointment treated group. In primary dermal irritation test, body weight, the clinical sign and the mortality were not significantly changed and Primary Irritation Index(P.I.I.) was 0.8, indicating TSE ointment as weak irritant material. In ocular irritation test, The Index of Acute Ocular Irritaion was 0.0, indicating TSE ointment as non-irritating to the eye of the rabbits. To evaluate toxicity of the TSE ointment in animal test, body weight, the clinical signs, the skin and eye irritation check were conducted; TSE ointment was considered to be weak dermal irritant in test animals. The no response of eye irritation test was observed in this experimental condition. Conclusions : According to the above toxicity test, We consider that this results is helpful for saying about the safety of TSE ointment in clinical use.

인공신경망 모델의 가중치와 편의를 이용한 테트라포드의 안정수 계산 방법 (Calculation of Stability Number of Tetrapods Using Weights and Biases of ANN Model)

  • 테트라포드는 경사식 방파제의 피복재로 가장 많이 사용되는 콘크리트 소파블록이다. 테트라포드의 안정수를 계산하는 것은 테트라포드의 적정 중량을 결정하기 위해 필요한 과정이다. 1950년대의 Hudson 식부터 최근에 Suh and Kang이 제안한 식까지 테트라포드의 안정수를 계산하기 위한 다양한 경험식들이 제안되었다. 이러한 경험식들은 대부분이 식의 형태를 가정하고 실험 자료를 이용하여 식의 계수들을 회귀분석을 통해 결정하였다. 최근에는, 실험 데이터가 많은 경우, software engineering (또는 machine learning) 방법이 도입되고 있다. 예를 들어서, 방파제 피복석의 안정수를 계산하기 위한 인공신경망 모델이 제안된 바 있다. 그러나 이러한 방법들은 기존의 경험식보다 정확도가 크게 뛰어나지 않고 엔지니어들에게 생소하기 때문에 아직까지 설계에 거의 사용되지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 인공신경망 모델의 가중치와 편의를 이용하여 테트라포드의 안정수를 계산하는 양해법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 행렬 연산을 할 줄 아는 엔지니어라면 인공신경망에 대한 지식이 없어도 사용할 수 있으며, 기존의 경험식에 비해 정확도도 우수하다.

계지작약지모탕(桂枝芍藥知母湯)이 Ajuvant 투여로 유발된 풍습성(風濕性) 동물병태모델에 미치는 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study of GuizhiShaoyaoZhimu-Tang on the Rheumatic Pathologic Model Induced by Ajuvant in Rats)

  • The purpose of this study explain the experimental effects of Guizhishaoyaozhimu-Tang (桂枝芍藥知母湯) that have clinical efficacy in rheumatoid Arthritis. Materials of present study were Guizhishaoyaozhimu-Tang freeze dried powder (GSZT), Sprague-dawley rats (300 g or so, male), various kinds of needing experimental studis. In order to study the therapeutic effects of GSZT, this Prescription (GSZT 500 mg/kg, 1,000 mg/kg) were administered per oral to the rats with the arthritis induced by Freund's complete adjuvant ($0.2m{\ell}/kg$), several experimental items were measured and compared each other ; that is body weight, rate of edema, analgesic effect by hot plate method, WBC, total protein, TNF-${\alpha}$, IL-10 and expression and localization of H&E, COX-2 staining in synovial tissues from rat with rheumatoid arthritis by immunohistochemical staining using polyclonal COX-2 antibodies. Rats were divided into four groups. Normal group was not treated with Freund's complete adjuvant and treated with DDW 1.0 $m{\ell}$, Control group was treated with Freund's complete adjuvant 0.2 $m{\ell}/kg$ and DDW 1.0 $m{\ell}$, Sample A group was treated with Freund's complete adjuvant 0.2 $m{\ell}/kg$ and GSZT (500 $mg/m{\ell}$) $1.0m{\ell}$, Sample B group was treated with Freund's complete adjuvant 0.2 $m{\ell}/kg$ and GSZT (1,000 $mg/m{\ell}$) 1.0 $m{\ell}$. 0 was day that did not start experiment, 14 was day that confirmed rheumatism induced by Freund's complete adjuvant, 28 was day that completed experiment. The following results were obtained in this study ; Sample A group was increased in body weight, escape time and paw licking time statistical significance compared with Control group, and were decreased in edema, WBC, total protein, TNF-${\alpha}$ with statistical significance compared with Control group. Sample B group was increased in escape time with statistical significance compared with Control group, and were decreased in edema, WBC, total protein with statistical significance compared with Control group. Sample A and Sample B groups were increased in IL-10 compared with Control group, and Sample B group was decreased in TNF-${\alpha}$ compared with Control group. And, Control, Sample A and Sample B groups were showed considerable reduction of positive expression in comparison to Normal group. Especially, Sample B group was most significantly reduction of positive expression than the other groups. From above results, I suggest that GuizhiShaoyaoZhimu-Tang can be used for curing rheumatoid arthritis.

양생온도에 따른 90 MPa 수준의 고강도 철근 콘크리트 보의 휨거동 (Flexural Behavior of High-strength Concrete Beams of 90 MPa According to Curing Temperature)

  • 본 연구에서는 양생조건이 다른 압축강도 90 MPa 수준의 고강도 콘크리트 부재의 휨거동 실험을 수행하였다. 실험변수는 정상 및 저온 양생 조건, 인장 철근량 및 콘크리트 압축강도 수준 등을 고려하였다. 8개의 보 부재를 제작하여 휨 실험을 수행하였으며 균열 간격, 하중-처짐 관계, 하중-변형률 관계 및 연성지수를 파악하였다. 실험결과는 철근량이 증가함에 따라 균열 개수는 증가하고 균열간격은 감소하는 경향을 나타내며, 콘크리트 강도가 높을수록 균열개수가 줄어들기는 하지만 그 효과는 철근량보다는 상당히 작은 것을 알 수 있었다. 설계기준에서 제안된 평균 균열 간격 식과 비교한 결과, 실험결과가 제안식의 결과보다 약간 크게 나타났으나, 제안식은 콘크리트 강도 및 양생조건을 반영하지 못하는 문제점이 있다. 정상 양생된 부재들의 연성지수는 3.36~6.74이며, 저온 양생된 부재들의 연성지수는 1.51~2.82으로 나타나, 저온 양생된 부재들의 거동은 정상 양생된 부재들에 비해서 연성도지수가 저감됨을 확인하였으며, 본 연구와 기존 연구의 연성지수를 비교한 결과, 고강도 콘크리트 부재의 연성지수는 선행연구의 보통강도 콘크리트의 연성지수 보다 크게 나타났으나, 더 구체적인 결과를 파악하기 위해서는 추가연구가 필요하다고 판단된다.

항암제와 한약재의 병용투여 시 암세포 증식억제 효과에 대한 국내 실험연구 문헌고찰 (A Review on Experimental Research about Anticancer Drug Combined Treatment with Herbal Medicine for Killing or Inhibiting Proliferation of Cancer cells in Korea.)

  • Objective : In this study, we searched the experimental research about combined treatment of anticancer drug and herbal medicine for killing or inhibiting proliferation of Cancer cells searched in OASIS and KISS. This study aimed to analyze the experimental research paper about anticancer drug combined treatment with herbal medicine. Methods : We collected the research paper including killing or inhibiting proliferation of Cancer cells in OASIS and KISS using keyword anticancer drug with herbal medicine, tumor suppressor with herbal medicine, inhibition of Cancer with herbal medicine and combined treatment with herbal medicine. Assorting by cancer cells, we analyzed experimental results cancer cell viability, anticancer drug dosage, tumor weight and survival rate. Also, we checked the effects of herbal medicine on cancer and additive effect reducing side effect of anticancer drug. Results : Total 45 studies were selected. 38 studies reported combined treatment of anticancer drug and herbal medicine was more effective than only anticancer drug. The death of cancer cells was synergistically induced by the cotreatment of anticancer drug and herb extracts. The studies suggest that the cotreatment of anticancer drug and herb extracts could reduce side effect of anticancer drug. In addition, some studies reported cotreatment mechanism like apoptotic death signal processes. In combined treatment of anticancer drug and herb extracts, The expression of Fas/Fas L, Bax, Bcl2, Caspase-3 etc.. was markedly increased in cancer cells. Conclusions : Our results suggest that anticancer drug combined treatment with herbal medicine could be efficient for killing or inhibiting proliferation of cancer cells. However, this paper had some limitation as follows: First, collected studies have been published only for korean journal. Second, results of research and effects of combined treatment are not collected objectively. To solve these problems, more objective and balanced studies should be performed.

평탄지형 제내지에서의 제방붕괴속도에 따른 범람홍수파 선단 거동에 관한 연구 (Study on Behaviour of Flood Wave-front Varied with Levee Breach Speed in Flat Inundation Area)

  • 본 연구에서는 평탄지형의 제내지에서 제방붕괴속도에 따른 범람홍수파 선단의 전파 특성을 규명하기 위하여 제내지와 하도로 이루어진 실험수조에서 실험을 수행하여 전파 거리를 산정하였다. 실험에 의해 측정된 전파거리를 시간에 대한 상관식으로 나타내기 위하여 댐붕괴에 의한 수로에서의 홍수파의 1차원 흐름 해석해인 Ritter의 해에 3차원 거동특성을 반영할 수 있는 상수 k와 m을 도입한 일반식에 실험결과를 적용하여 실험식을 도출하였다. 기존 연구에서 하도내의 초기수위가 범람홍수파의 전파속도에 지배적인 영향을 준다는 사실은 알려져 있으나, 본 실험연구를 통해 제방붕괴속도도 범람홍수파의 전파속도에 영향을 주며, k와 m이 상수가 아닌 제방붕괴속도와 선형관계를 갖는 변수임을 밝혔다. 실험결과를 이용하여 범람홍수파 선단의 전파거리를 산정할 수 실험식을 제시했으며, 범람홍수파의 전파속도 산정시 하도내의 초기수위뿐만 아니라 제방붕괴속도도 고려해야 함을 본 연구를 통해 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 대규모 제내지 범람실험을 수행하여 범람양상을 관찰하고 수리학적 관점에서 해석하였으며, 실험결과를 토대로 제방붕괴속도에 대한 홍수파 전파속도의 상관관계도 제시하였다. 본 연구결과는 홍수위험지도 작성이나 긴급대피계획 수립시 기본적인 판단 자료로 사용할 수 있으며, 2차원 범람 수치모형 검증시 유용한 자료로 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
