Image denoising methods based on block matching are founded on the experimental observations that neighboring patches or blocks in images retain similar features with each other, and have been proved to show superior performance in denoising different kinds of noise. The methods, however, take into account only neighboring blocks in searching for similar blocks, and ignore the characteristic features of the reference block itself. Consequently, denoising performance is negatively affected when outliers of the Gaussian distribution are included in the reference block which is to be denoised. In this paper, we propose an expanded block matching method in which noisy images are first decomposed into a number of bit-planes, then the range of true signals are estimated based on the distribution of pixels on the bit-planes, and finally outliers are replaced by the neighboring pixels belonging to the estimated range. In this way, the advantages of the conventional Gaussian filter can be added to the blocking matching method. We tested the proposed method through extensive experiments with well known test-bed images, and observed that performance gain can be achieved by the proposed method.
This study is an experimental study on the single group pre-post test design for the convegenced of an integration support program for home-based cancer patients and the verification of its effects. Targeting total 33 home-based cancer patients in J city, total 30 sessions of the convegenced integration support program composed of cancer-related knowledge education, stress management, cognitive behavioral approach, and exercise for revitalization were provided three times a week for ten weeks. In the results of this study, the convegenced integration support program reduced stresses of the subjects and also improved their hopes and self-esteem. Thus, this program is considered as a onvegenced integration support program suitable for home-based cancer patients. In the future, it would be necessary to seek for the nursing interventional strategies for the expansion for this program to regional health centers or community institutes performing the convegenced integration support program for cancer survivors, so that they could continuously participated in the program.

This study is aimed to find out the effect of PAPS-D on physical fitness of developmental disabled students who participated of Inline skate program. The subject of this study was 10 middle and high school students diagnosed as developmental disability. The subject attended a total of 32 classes twice a week for 16 weeks and the class was 1 hour each time. Improvement of physical fitness was assessed based on PAPS-D program developed by the Department of Education science in 2016 except for obesity measurement; cardio pulmonary function (walking in 6 minutes), flexibility (seated forward bend, clasped hand behind the back), muscle function (sit-up) and agility (standing long jump). To find out the interaction between control group and experimental group, two-way repeated measure ANOVA was used. As a result, there was a statistically significant relation in cardio pulmonary function and agility but not in flexibility and muscle function. 3 variables (cardio pulmonary function, flexibility and muscle function) among 4 variables showed positive effect of Inline skate program on physical fitness while one variable which was agility showed decreased result in post-test. Based on the results of three variables that were found to have improved in the pre post-examination, the result of this study indicates positive effect of Inline skating program on physical fitness of developmentally disabled students.

In automotive application, customers are demanding high efficiency and various functions for convenience. The demand for these automotive applications is steadily increasing. In this study, it has been studied the analysis of heat flow to improve the PCB(printed circuit board) heating performance of WPC (wireless power charger) recently developed for convenience. The charging performance of the wireless charger has been reduced due to power dissipation and thermal resistance of PCB. Therefore, it has been proposed optimal PCB design, layout and position of electronic parts through the simulation of heat flow analysis and PCB design was analyzed and decided at each design stage. Then, the experimental test is performed to verify the consistency of the analysis results under actual environmental conditions. In this paper, The PCB modeling and heat flow simulation in transient response were performed using HyperLynx Thermal and FloTHERM. In addition, the measurement was performed using infrared thermal imaging camera and used to verify the analysis results. In the final comparison, the error between analysis and experiment was found to be less than 10 % and the heating performance of PCB was also improved.
Purpose: Fire load analysis was conducted to secure basic data for evaluating fire risk of educational facilities. In order to calculate the fire load through a preliminary survey, basic data related to the fire load of school facilities were collected. Method: The basic data were the definition and types of fire loads, combustion heat data for the calculation of fire loads. The fire load was evaluated by multiplying the combustion heat by the weight of the combustibles in the compartment when calculating the fire load. Result: As for the fixed combustible materials of A-elementary school, the floor was mainly made of wood, in consideration of emotion and safety in the classroom, music room, and school office, and the rest of the compartments were made of stone. The ceiling and walls were made of gypsum board and concrete, so they were not combustible. The typical inflammable items in each room were desks, chairs, and lockers in the classroom, and the laboratory equipment box and experimental tool box were the main components in the science room, and books, bookshelves, and reading equipment occupied a large proportion in the library room. Conclusion: 'The fire loads of A-elementary' schools according to the combustibles loaded were in the order of library, computer room, English learning room, teacher's office, general classroom, science hall, and music room.
The purpose of this study is to identify how postural mechanics affects postural control on balance and stability by using frequency analysis technique from the kinematic data acquired during the one leg standing posture. For this purpose, the experimental group consisted of two groups, the normal group (n=6) and the national Gymnastics group (n=6). Displacement data of CoP were analyzed by frequency analysis of rambling (RM) and trembling (TR) by FFT signal processing. As a results, there was a significant difference in evaluating the stabilization index between the two groups with the eyes open and closed one leg stnading (p <.05). The cause of the difference was found to be the output of the maximum amplitude of RM (f1) and TR (f2) (p <.05). In particular, in the low frequency RM of 8-9 Hz, which is a natural frequency of signal wave involved in postural feedback feedback, the main frequency appeared to be performs the exercise mechanism of stable brain posture control. And in the high frequency TM of 120-135 Hz, it is considered that the adaptation of the reflective muscle response is minimized to minimize posture shaking. In conclusion, this study provides evidence for the intrinsic main frequencies according to the postural control ability which affects the CNS in one leg standing.

In this paper, we proposed a deep learning-based detection method using Saliency Attention to detect salient objects in images. The salient object detection separates the object where the human eye is focused from the background, and determines the highly relevant part of the image. It is usefully used in various fields such as object tracking, detection, and recognition. Existing deep learning-based methods are mostly Autoencoder structures, and many feature losses occur in encoders that compress and extract features and decoders that decompress and extend the extracted features. These losses cause the salient object area to be lost or detect the background as an object. In the proposed method, Saliency Attention is proposed to reduce the feature loss and suppress the background region in the Autoencoder structure. The influence of the feature values was determined using the ELU activation function, and Attention was performed on the feature values in the normalized negative and positive regions, respectively. Through this Attention method, the background area was suppressed and the projected object area was emphasized. Experimental results showed improved detection results compared to existing deep learning methods.
This study suggests user-friendly design fiction method applying user-centered design process. Design fiction is a method that predicts futures from design perspective with critical discourses and physical representation. It has been regarded importantly in HCI and interaction design realms as aesthetical and experiential approaches, yet not firmly established. Especially, it has not been considered from user-centered perspective which considers users and related problems. Anticipatory design based on current problems which predicts futures and defines design-oriented scenario is becoming significant. Therefore, this study regards design fiction method in relation to prior design also should consider user-centered perspective, not just experimental approaches. In this regards, this study tries to apply user-centered process, specifically affordances which lead more intuitive and direct impact on users into conventional design fiction process. This study led junior students in visual communication major into design fiction process with specific topics and the Design with Intent Toolkit amongst practices of creating affordances so as to develop new design fiction process with its diverse outcomes. Throughout the process, this study aims to suggest alternative user-friendly design fiction method beyond its critical and experiential approaches.
This study focuses on the issue of automatic severity classification of dysarthric speakers based on speech intelligibility. Speech intelligibility is a complex measure that is affected by the features of multiple speech dimensions. However, most previous studies are restricted to using features from a single speech dimension. To effectively capture the characteristics of the speech disorder, we extracted features of multiple speech dimensions: voice quality, prosody, and pronunciation. Voice quality consists of jitter, shimmer, Harmonic to Noise Ratio (HNR), number of voice breaks, and degree of voice breaks. Prosody includes speech rate (total duration, speech duration, speaking rate, articulation rate), pitch (F0 mean/std/min/max/med/25quartile/75 quartile), and rhythm (%V, deltas, Varcos, rPVIs, nPVIs). Pronunciation contains Percentage of Correct Phonemes (Percentage of Correct Consonants/Vowels/Total phonemes) and degree of vowel distortion (Vowel Space Area, Formant Centralized Ratio, Vowel Articulatory Index, F2-Ratio). Experiments were conducted using various feature combinations. The experimental results indicate that using features from all three speech dimensions gives the best result, with a 80.15 F1-score, compared to using features from just one or two speech dimensions. The result implies voice quality, prosody, and pronunciation features should all be considered in automatic severity classification of dysarthria.
