The forms made by repeated arrangements of basic units defined as Simulakre are recomposed into organic, geometric or multi-functional forms by diverse combinations and arrangements and the space expanded by reiterated compositions will have the meaning of active space expansions representing speeds, rhythms or time by reiterations instead of a limited and fixed place shown by a work. The module design that can create new roles and functions of spaces that are variability and fluidity and that can be assembled and transformed into the shapes, sizes and functions desired by users will be analyzed applying the concepts of reiteration and expansion. The module designs emerging in 21th century are in diverse organic forms and geometric forms and their methods for expansion are also diversified. And instead of having a function, they have diverse functions such as storages, partitions, walls, curtains and soundproofing. The development of module designs are first to satisfy the diversified needs, individualities and desires to posses of modem people and second the development, finding and application of new materials. In the future spaces that will continuously develop and will be nomadic, the flexible and individualized module designs will become more diversified and will have their significances.

In this paper, we proposed the program module that expand output points when increased of the output machine for the design of process control system with PLC. In order to incense output points we need the decoding. There is a hardware decoding and a software decoding. In this paper, we proposed the decoding program module which is a software decoding and confirmed feasibility through a simulation.

Management flexibility to adapt its future actions in response to altered future market conditions can expand the value of an investment opportunity by improving its upside potential without the change in the downside losses. Module manufacturers in solar industry continuously have to decide how much and when its production capacity should be expanded with regards to the demand in the global markets. Either over- or under-investment can cause sunk and/or opportunity costs to the module manufacturers. Option of exercising the additional investments only on favorable opportunities can increase total value of the investment. This paper analyzes the case which shows that the expansion of production capacity with more expandibility can have more value than the rigid plan of capacity expansion. The expansion option value is equivalent to KRW 38.286 billion, thus switching the negative NPV of the initial investment opportunity into the positive value. High volatility and the high growth in the cashflows as the major business features of the renewable energy provide condition where real options can play the crucial role in increasing the investment value as well as in determining the size and timing of capacity expansion in the course of capital budgeting process.

In 1984, Oshiro [11] has studied the decomposition of continuous lifting modules. He obtained the following: every continuous lifting module has an indecomposable decomposition. In this paper, we study extending lifting modules. We show that every extending lifting module has an indecomposable decomposition. This result is an expansion of Oshiro's result mentioned above. And we consider some application of this result.

The gate expansion was planed to increase discharge capacity of gate structure at sea dike in Asan Bay. So it was estimated for changing of hydraulic states in Pyeongteak Harbor Zone caused by gate expansion, by 2D and 3D CFD Module. In result, influence of gate expansion was less than tidal current and discharge ratio between old gate and new gate was 4:6.

The crash energy absorbers used in the trains normally are classified into two types. The first is the structure type, which mainly used in not only the primary structure of train but also the crash energy absorbers at the critical accidents. The second is the module type, which just absorbs the crash energy independently and attached onto the structures of the trains. The expansion tube is widely used as the module type of the crash energy absorbers, especially in the trains that have a heavy mass. Since the crash energy is absorbed by means of expanding the tube in the radial direction, the features of the expansion tube have the uniform load during the compression. As the uniform load remains in sudden impact, the expansion tube is effective to decrease acceleration of passengers when the train accident occur. The buckling instability of the expansion tubes is affected by the boundary conditions, thickness and length of tube. In this study, the effects of the length and thickness of the expansion tubes under the arbitrary load on the buckling are studied using the ABAQUS/standard and ABAQUS/explicit, a commercial finite element analysis program, and then presents the guideline to design the expansion tubes. The analysis processes to compute the buckling load consist of the linear buckling analysis and the nonlinear post-buckling analysis. To analysis the nonlinear post-buckling analysis, the geometry imperfections are introduced by applying the linear buckling modes to nonlinear post-buckling analysis.

This paper describes the systematic control method of process information transfer and machine cell control in FMS implementation. We have constructed an experimental FMS computer network and control system. The system hardware consists of host computer to manage process data and information transfer of machine cells, cell control computers to control machine cells(NC lathe, machining center). On the other hand, software is made up of oredr management module, NC program searching and generation module, NC part program error check module and cell control module. In this study, we could arrive at conclusion as following : The first, each task could be accomplihed by the efficient information transfer in hierachical computer network. The second, data base system of part programs and process control data is needed for the efficint information transfer and production management. Lastly, expansion of FMS control system could be achieved by the hierachical and decentralized computer control system.

최근 실내조명으로 사용하는 LED(Light Emitting Diode)와 무선통신 기술을 융합한 가시광통신이 주목받고 있다. 하지만 가시광 통신은 광 신호를 측정할 수 있는 커버리지 내에서만 통신이 가능하고, 비가시선 영역에서 통신이 단절되는 현상이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 가시광 통신의 커버리지 확장과 비가시선 영역에서 통신 단절 현상 개선을 위해 VLC(Visible Light Communication) 릴레이 모듈을 제안한다. 제안하는 VLC 릴레이 모듈은 송신기로부터 전달받은 패킷을 VLC 릴레이 모듈 및 수신기로 전송한다. 1개의 VLC 송신기와 3개의 VLC 릴레이 모듈을 설치하여 실험을 진행하였으며, VLC 릴레이 모듈의 증가에 따른 통신 커버리지 확장과 비가시선 영역에서 통신 단절 현상 개선을 확인하였다. 또한, 이중 샘플링 기법을 사용하여 광 신호 측정 성능이 2.4배 향상됨을 확인하였다.

The module UPS can flexibly implement expansion of power system capacities. Furthermore, it can be used to build up the parallel redundant system to improve the reliability of power system operation. To realize the module UPS, load sharing without interconnection among parallel connecting modules as well as a small scale and lightweight topology is necessary. In this paper, the three-arm converter/inverter is compared with the general full-bridge and half-bridge topology from a practical point of view and chosen as the module UPS topology. The switching control approaches based on a pulse width modulation of the converter and inverter of the system are presented independently The frequency and voltage droop method is applied to parallel operation control to achieve load sharing. Two prototype 3kVA modules are designed and implemented to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approaches. Experimental results show that the three-arm UPS system has a high power factor, a low distortion of output voltage and input current, and good load sharing characteristic.

안드로이드 시스템의 경우 고정된 네트워크 하드웨어 기반의 모바일 시스템 OS로서 네트워크 확장에 어려움이 있다. 이런 안드로이드 OS를 스마트 TV OS로 사용하기 위한 무선네트워크 확장은 필수적이라 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이런 제한적 하드웨어 지원의 모바일용 안드로이드 OS의 USB 기반 WIFI 모듈과 같은 외장 네트워크 장치를 통한 네트워크 확장에 관해 연구한다.
