Design of E-Document Management System Using Dynamic Group Key based on OOXML (OOXML기반의 동적 그룹키를 이용한 전자문서 관리 시스템의 설계)

  • We propose a e-document management system that can provide segmented page information on a document according to different levels of authority from access control environment. The proposed system creates hierarchy identifier using a one-way hash chain and therefore does not need to own key information for all users as in existing system. Also by creating group keys by compounding hash chain hierarchy identifier with randomly formed group identifier, the system can flexibly respond to dynamic changes from group member movements while at the same time resolving the problems of key formation and management in document encoding technique using symmetric key for each page. Lastly as a result of comparative analysis through an experiment with existing e-document management systems, the proposed system showed superiority in the efficiency of encoding and decoding document and the speed of encoding and decoding by the pages.

A study of tunnel concrete lining design using the ground-lining interaction model with the interface element (계면요소를 이용한 지반-라이닝 상호작용 모델에 의한 터널 콘크리트 라이닝 연구)

  • In NATM tunnel, the Ground-Lining Interaction model(GLI model) had been proposed a one of the numerical analysis as the ground load estimation method of the concrete lining. But this model was not applied with the interface mechanism between the ground and the support member or concrete lining. Therefor in this study, it is implemented as a model for closer than actual states that the interface element applied to the existing GLI model. And the modified GLI formula is proposed with the ground load estimation that is from the numerical results for each ground and rock cover conditions. Based on the numerical results, the ground load acting on concrete lining is reduced to ave. 88~106% in case of IV ground condition and ave. 47~57% in case of weathered soil condition comparing with the existing GLI model. It can be anticipated that the results obtained from this study can be applied to an estimation of the ground load on the concrete lining modeled like as real states, consistent and economical design.

The Model to Generate Optimum Maintenance Scenario for Steel Bridges considering Life-Cycle Cost and Performance (강교량의 최적 유지관리 시나리오 선정 모델)

  • In this paper, a more practical and realistic method is proposed to establish the lifetime optimum maintenance strategies of the deteriorating bridges considering the life-cycle performance as well as life-cycle cost. The genetic algorithm is applied to generate the set of maintenance scenarios that is the multi-objective combinatorial optimization problem related to lifetime performance and cost as separate objective functions, and the technique to select optimum tradeoff maintenance scenario is presented. Optimum maintenance scenarios could be generated not only at the individual member level but also at the system level of the bridge. Through the analytical results of applying the proposed methodology to the existing bridge, it is expected that the methodology will be effectively used to determine the optimum maintenance strategy for introducing a real preventive maintenance system and overcoming the limits of existing maintenance methods.

  • The reduction phenomena of concrete compressive strength with the size of cylinders have been very interested in, but till now the adequate. analysis technique is not fixed. Based on the existing research results. the bigger the member size is, the smaller the strengt.h is. However. the real test ~.csults reveal that the wduction rate becomes blunt and there are considerable differences between size offrct law and real results. The punposc. ofthis paper is to propose tho model equat.ion which covers the compressive strength of' cylinder specimens in case of general hight/dialnetcr ratio in terms of the size effect. he effect of maximum aggregate size on the microcrack zone was also studied, and the model equation was proposed by considering the concept of'the characteristic length. These results will also be used to predict the cornprcssivt. stxngth of various sized concrete cores sampled from existing structures.

In Situ Localization of Rice dwarf phytoreovirus P12 Protein in Infected Rice Plant (벼오갈병 바이러스 P12 단백질의 벼 감염세포 내 소재양식)

  • Rice dwarf phytoreovirus (RDV), a member of the family Reoviridae has a genome composed of 12 segmented dsRNAs designated as 51 to 512 with an increasing order of mobility in polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE). RDV encode 12 structural and non-structural proteins, $P1{\sim}P12$ which are encoded by the $S1{\sim}S12$ segments of the dsRNA genome, respectively. In this experiment, we confirmed in situ localization of RDV particles and P12 in cytoplasm of infected rice plant. We observed specific reaction of the gold particles using virus particle and P12 protein specific antiserum with protein A-gold immunolabelling in electron microscope. It was observed that gold particles specifically react to virus particles in cytoplasm in case using the antiserum for virus particles. In the case of antiserum for P12 protein, gold particles sporadically existing on cytoplasm without existing in organelle of cytoplasm specifically. As this result, RDV P12 protein encoded by S12 located in cytoplasm.

Safety Evaluation of the Precast Half Deck Pannel Joints Reinforced by Connection Rebar (이음철근이 보강된 반단면 프리캐스트 판넬 이음부의 강도 안전성 평가)

  • The Half-depth precast deck is a structural system that utilizes pre-cast panels pre-built at the factory as formwork at the construction stage and as a major structural member at the same time after completion. These systems have joints between segments, and the detail and performance of the joints are factors that have a very large impact on the quality, such as the constructability and durability of the bridge decks. In this study, strength performance evaluation was performed for improved joints using connecting rebar by experimental method. Static loading tests were conducted on the test specimen with improved joint, those with existing joint and those without joint. The test results of the specimens were compared to each other, and the flexural strength required by the design was compared. The flexural strength required in the design was presented by finite element analysis. It has been shown that the flexural strength of the specimens with joints were more than twice that required by the design. But the flexural strength of the specimen with existing joint was about 84% of that without joint. The flexural strength of the specimen with improved joints was a nearly similar degree of that compared to the specimen without joint. And a comparison of the moment-deflection relationship curves of the two specimens also shows a very similar flexural behavior. It is confirmed that improved joint has sufficient flexural strength. In addition to strength, the bridge decks require serviceability, such as deflection and cracking, and in particular, fatigue resistance due to repetitive live loads is an important performance factor. Therefore, further verification studies are required.

  • Digital twins between "BIM Digital Model-Physical Prototype Model" will be built for Noise Barrier tunnel(NBT) that meet the definition of N.G smart city facilities derived from previous studies to build a data flow that connects data at each stage of design, construction, and operation. In this process, BIM design automation tools are created and utilized, and consistent transmission of member and attribute data is performed by converting them into IFC format. Through this, the purpose is to improve the labor-intensive environment required from the design stage of the NBT and to consistently maintain the information required for subsequent production and construction. This includes achieving changes in the construction industry based on digital transformation by unifying various data formats used differently for each industry from design to operation. In addition, it demonstrates that information exchange in the maintenance and management stages is possible based on the data exchange of the established digital twin and aims to improve the existing labor-intensive environment and expand operability between digital and physical information. As suggested in previous studies, the implementation of digital twins in these N.G smart city facilities includes the possibility of building an environment that adds to the possibility of high value-added product platforms as well as the function of big data platforms targeting existing smart cities.

Examining the Practice of Digital Scholarship Services at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City

  • The article reports the results of an investigation on the practice of providing digital scholarship services at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This study is part of an ongoing research project entitled Developing a digital scholarship service framework for universities at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. It employed a qualitative research approach through in-depth interviews with 31 individuals who are university managers, library managers, lecturers, and postgraduate and undergraduate students from six member universities and Central Library of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. Research results show that some digital scholarship services have been provided at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. However, they have not been yet systematically implemented and have not met users' needs. Lack of needed resources such as space, technology infrastructure, human resources, finance, and stakeholder support are among major challenges in developing digital scholarship services. The management of existing digital scholarship services is fragmented without a clear policy for developing digital scholarship and supporting services. The study contributes to the existing knowledge by adding substantially to current understanding of the practice of providing digital scholarship services in Vietnam's universities in the transition period, from state control to autonomy, which has not been much addressed in previous research. Furthermore, this study can be a useful reference for higher education institutions in developing countries regarding implementation of digital scholarship services.

  • Clustering techniques in wireless sensor networks is developed to minimize the energy consumption of node, show the effect that increases the network lifetime. Existing clustering techniques proposed the method that increases the network lifetime equalizing each node's the energy consumption by rotating the role of CH(Cluster Head), but these algorithm did not present the resolution that minimizes the energy consumption of neighboring nodes with sink. In this paper, we propose the clustering algorithm that prolongs the network lifetime by not including a part of nodes in POS(Personal Operating Space) of the sink in a cluster and communicating with sink directly to reduce the energy consumption of CH closed to sink.

Presenting an Effective Model for Technology Transfer with the Maintenance Approach in Case of Tehran Subway

  • In recent years, technology developments in different countries, especially in newly industrialized countries, are extremely indebted to appropriate technology transfer by these countries. Nevertheless the technology transfer process in the present situation is complex, and its success is related to the coordination rate with the political, economic, social, and environmental objectives of countries. Today debates related to the transfer of the technical know how accompanied by equipment hardware has found remarkable importance such that countries seek increasing comprehensive capabilities in the field of transferred technology for which Preventive Maintenance (PM) is one of the aspects. This research with the purpose to determine the technological capability level and to study the role of PM in the effective & appropriate technology transfer in subway industry is carried out for presenting a suitable model for the technology transfer in this industry with an attitude towards the effects of principal PM factors. For this purpose, after the study of different and relevant models existing in the field of suitable methods for technology transfer, some equipment PM theories and models were selected as the base for the compilation of the questionnaire. With the help of questionnaire, main PM factors that are effective in the field of technology transfer were extracted, and finally, their effects on technology transfer were analyzed, identified and a comprehensive model suggested in this connection.
