물의 속성과 전시연출에 관한 연구 - 4대강 물문화관을 중심으로 - (A Study on Attribute of Water and Exhibition Composition - Focused on Four-major River Water Culture Pavilion in Korea -)

  • Water Culture Pavilion was constructed as a part of dam construction and Four-major rivers restoration projects, which have the purpose to prevent damage of natural disaster, localized heavy rain and drought, and has several functions; promotion, education and region culture community. Exhibition space in this culture pavilion should have the excellent connection of various media, contents, and exhibition space because of limited space. The purpose of this study is to analyze flows, continuation and connection of exhibit space with the perspectives of the attribute of water and to suggest various content things, technical, spatial types. This study targets Four-major rivers Water Culture Pavilion in Korea and suggests exhibition presentation methods as analyzing contents, media and constituent of exhibition space for each pavilion exhibition. The result of this study is as follows : First, the circulation is common expressed attribute of water in these four water culture pavilion. The reason is that there is a connection between Four-major rivers restoration projects and the physical attribute of water circulating the steps of evaporation, condensation and precipitation. Second, each pavilion presents circulative solid exhibit, circulative background exhibit, circulative reflective exhibit based on circulation. These three types of exhibition is related the floor separation. Third, each pavilion exhibit zone shows the most circulation, solid, background, reflexibility through educational contents and promoting contents by using graphic, video, sound media.

  • The World exposition is considered as a great event to promote the cultural exchanges of their own urbanism and share the technological developments among the various countries across the all over the world. So many countries in the world desired to host and take part in the EXPO, so far only few countries have had the chance to hold the event and show their uniqueness of urban culture, but we might say the past exhibition as those for display and publication of matters of science, technology and trade, now we must say expositions of the 21th century has come under variations on cultural and informational interchange and humanism from the global issue and problem. What makes possible to maximize the effort of reciprocal communication between people and the public can be the EXPO event as a means of the public information of the theme and this kind of event should suggest the public a message of the topic, message, image and even more the EXPO spirits and theme as an international event gives as much considerably spreading effect as its big scale. In that aspect, the pavilion for the exhibition of EXPO and public information should be recognized as a place for smoothly forming the activities of reciprocal communication between the society and the public, with such a aspect this study, as its purpose of improving as well as communication, concerns the process in projecting the space paradigm of pavilion in the EXPO and public message and information as a means of the communication of the global theme.

  • 본 연구는 전시공간구성 실무진행 사례를 재집성한 것으로서 전시스토리라인상의 관람자-전시요소간 인터페이스의 적절한 조절, 연출을 통해 매혹적 전시공간의 한 전형을 도출하기 위해 음의 방법에 초점을 맞추었다. 전시구성의 핵심이라 할 수 있는 전시전달성 극대화를 위해 정연하게 함축된 전시언어의구조화 표현을 통해 양의 공간을 질의 공간으로 전이하며 풍부한 인터럭티브 요소가 내재한 체감형 전시공간이 되도록 하였다. 전시구성 프로세스에서 산발적으로 부연되어 있는 (다듬어지지않은, 원형그대로의) 가변적 전시구성요소(전시 Item, 전시 Text)들은 총합적 전시시나리오의 맥락적 흐름(Contextual Flow)으로 재집성할 때 주어진 조건하의 최저화 과정에서 더욱 완성도 높은 적정해를 도출하려고 하였다. 전시개체요소들을 새로운 이야기로 재구성하는, 즉 전시텍스트를 전시컨택트화 하여 맥락적 전시 시나리오 안에서 전시효과를 극대화하여 전시에 활기를 유도하였다. 프로젝트 수행시 이러한 맥락화는 가능한한 전시설계자의 구심적 역할 수행을 통해 체계화하였다. 전시환경의 시공간적 다양성에 일관적으로 부응하는 전시구성 방법의 전형이 있을 수 없는 바, 본 논고에서는 매년 개최되는 정보통신전시회인 Expo Comm Wireless Korea의 한국통신관 전시계획 내용을 중심으로 디자인 발의 , 조사, 분석에서부터 종합, 개발, 제안, 전달, 관리등의 일련의 프로세스를 실무적 연구결과의 사례로서 제시하였다.

자연사박물관의 체험형 전시에 대한 관람객의 행태특성 (Visitor's Behavioral Characteristics for the Experiential Exhibition)

  • The purpose of this research is to improve exhibition effectiveness by implementing hands-on exhibition technique that best provides adults with cultural resting place and children with outdoor education which simply supports school curriculum. By completing this research, the museum of natural history will become defined innovative as a place that enables people actively develop creativity For this sake, some of domestic natural science museums were selected as the samples in this study, such as Seodaemun of Natural History, Incheon Standing Science Pavilion and Daejeon National Science Museum, Which all produce experience-based exhibition in relatively brisk manner. First of all, this study attempted to identify the traffic line and behavioral characteristics of spectators who used experience-oriented exhibition through follow-up and observational study Then it divided samples into adults and children group to compare and analyze the ratio of using exhibitions, the ratio of spectators and the sojourn time according to the type of experience-oriented exhibitions. In addition, this study attempted to collect available data about spectators who were in conversation with one another on the other hand, it also attempted to determine any effects on using experience-based exhibition by performing a questionnaire survey, so that it might set up an index for behavioral characteristics the spectators who visit such exhibition.

  • 본 연구는 기업이미지 향상 및 제고를 목적으로, 대규모 국제 이벤트인 박람회에 참가하기 위하여 계획되어지는 기업 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 수단으로서의 전시/홍보 관 계획과 디자인에 관한 연구이다. 이상고 같은 본 연구는 다음과 같은 과정으로 진행되었다.·박람회의 기업관 계획을 위하여 요구되어지는 이론적 접근을 통해, 본 연구의 타당성을 인식하였다.·전시/홍보 관에 접근하기 위해 기업에 있어서 이미지 커뮤니케이션의 중요성과 그 형성과정을 제시하고 이미지 커뮤니케이션 매체로서 기업홍보에 대해 이해하였다.·박람회에 참가하기 위한 기업의 이미지 동일화의 중요성과 그 분석방법을 기초 이미지와 서브 이미지의 단계별로 정리하였으며 기업이 박람회에 참여하기 시작해서 기업관의 계획을 진행해 가는 일반적인 과정을 조사, 분석 단계와 디자인 단계로 분류하여 모델로 제시하였다.·기업을 대상으로 하여 그 계획과 디자인 과정을 조사, 분석 단계아 디자인 단계로 분류하여 진행하는데 조사, 분석 단계에서는 환경 적 요소, 대상물 요소, 시간적 요소, 관람객 요소를 중심으로 분석하며, 디자인 단계에서는 대상물 요소에서 진행되어온 기업 이미지 분석을 기초로 디자인 기준을 설정하여 그에 따른 건축 적 형태와 실내 환경 디자인을 발전시켰다.

  • In contemporary society, Labyrinth and maze are used with the same meaning. They are also used by translating various meanings. But labyrinth and maze are exactly different meaning. The purpose of this study is to inquire about difference for understanding essential meaning between labyrinth and maze. First of all, this study is to grasp composition principles and the characteristics of space through example of labyrinth and maze from ancient to contemporary, prescribe about essential meaning between labyrinth and maze and examine contemporary architecture which is fit for essential meaning. As compositional Principle in labyrinth and maze applied to comtemporary architecture, the labyrinth are centrality, property of one-sideness, determinable space, on the contrary the maze are out of centrality, property of multi-sideness, indeterminable space. Finally, The aim of this paper is analyze exhibition space that suit to the characteristics of composition principle and find the characteristics in labyrinth and maze. Examples of exhibition space are Aldo Van Eyck's 'Sculpture Pavilion', Kazuyo Sejima's '21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art', Ben van berkel's'Museum Het Valkhof'. These research we studied the visitor's circulation and the architectural structure in exhibition space with the spatial characteristics and the compositional principle in labyrinth and maze.

  • This study embody the investigation of the winner projects of Young Architecture Program(YAP) taken place annually at front yard of MoMA PS1 since 1998. Every installation of project is experimental exhibition that have ambiguous border in the area between lightness and architecture. Thus the design have less limits as architectural space and talents can express the innovative idea strong. This paper aims to probe annual significant key words by analyzing the contemporary representative space types, materials, fabrication methods and innovative ideas, and to identify the changes of important concept of lightness and recent trend in architect design concept.

  • Renzo Piano was first introduced to us when he got together with Richard Rogers and won the Grand Prize on Center George Pompidou Competition in Paris. Since then, he designed number of world renowned museum architecture such as Menil Collection & Museum, The Cy Twombly Gallery, Beyeler Foundation Museum, and most recently the New Pavilion of High Museum of Art. His museum design, in particular, showed very consistent feature which is differentiating the 'Served Space(exhibition area) and the Servant Space(service core or mechanical system area)'. In addition, the way he treats natural light as a special feature within his museum space was nicely done and it is remarkable both in design and engineering side; he always designed a very unique roof structure system to give life and to simulate emotion of light within the space. These are just a few points of his special design characteristics which differentiate him from the rest of the architect working today. While interested by works of Renzo Piano, we found that his work had very close relationship to Louis I. Kahn's design. Specially the way Renzo Piano differentiating serving and servant space and the way he treating natural light. Therefore, the purpose of study is focused on providing typology of museum exhibition organization as well as finding evidence of Louis I. Kahn's influence and concept he has shown in his museum projects through actual site visits and reference research. The method of research was as the following; first to find typology and its characteristics of exhibition space organization of all Renzo Piano's museum projects. Secondly to distinguish projects which show 'differentiated servant and served space'. As the result of this study, it was clear that Renzo Piano had influence of Louis I. Kahn on adopting 'Servant and Served Space' concept. But the research concluded with the facts to approve the uniqueness of Renzo Piane's design concept.

가변형 아트 파빌리온 공간 표현특성에 관한연구 (A Study on the Deformable Art Pavilion Spatial Expression Characteristics)

  • 근대 이전의 공간이 고정적이고 폐쇄적이었다면, 근대 이후에 지어진 공간의 특성은 융통성과 개방성이라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 공간 컨셉을 기반으로 현대 예술 전시관 또한 점차 건축물 내부 공간에서 실외 공간으로의 변화를 추구하게 되었으며, 이에 따라 외부 아트 파빌리온이라는 개념이 탄생하게 되었다. 전통예술 전시관과 비교했을 때, 파빌리온은 현재 건축공간의 질서에서 벗어났을 뿐 아니라 창의적인 공간형태를 실현하였다. 따라서 많은 전문가디자이너들은 이를 통해 인간과 자연 사이의 장벽을 깨고자 시도하였다. 이러한 배경을 바탕으로 본 연구는 최근의 가변형 아트 파빌리온을 분석하고자한다. 가변형 아트 파빌리온의 표현특성을 고찰하고 사례를 분석하여 가변형 아트 파빌리온의 디자인 원칙과 원리를 파악하고, 향후 연구될 기본적인 설계의 방향과 전략을 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 가변형 공간의 이론을 고찰하여 가변형 공간의 특성과 개념 범주를 파악한다. 둘째, 아트 파빌리온 관련 선행연구를 바탕으로 그 표현특성을 정리한다. 또 문헌연구를 통해 아트 파빌리온을 표현특성별로 구분하였다. 셋째, 가변형 공간 형태와 가변형 공간의 특성이 반영된 사례를 통해 연구를 진행한다. 사례분석에서 도출된 결과를 통해 각 아트 파빌리온의 변형방식과 공간특성의 표현방식 상의 차이와 그 나타나는 원인을 파악한다. 본 연구는 가변형 공간의 변형방식을 선별하기 위한 기준 근거를 제시하고, 또 미래 건축공간 디자인측면에서 공간개념의 변화와 공간 의의의 범주를 확장시킬 수 있다.
