  • As life expectancy has increased, health status becomes an important factor on life. The Fourth Industrial Revolution has led to the development of a variety of healthcare devices and applications that make it easier and more convenient to manage health. In particular, the area of individual genetic analysis with Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) has expanded, and genetic information is used to treat and prevent diseases according to individual differences. This study analyzes the genetic information of individuals, that is, SNP variant, and identifies specific chronic disease risk groups such as obesity, diabetes and hypertension. After then we will propose a customized nutrition information service. In addition the service of regional exercise management will be provided, to encourage exercise based on walking courses and sports center information in residential areas. Based on the GPS, it will design the service of exercise management that can encourage exercise by providing walking course and sports center information in the residential area.

  • This paper examines when a consumer in existent telecommunication 2G applies to new telecommunication service 3G from the viewpoint of an option pricing theory. To improve telecommunication quality of service, the consumer applies to 3G. The application means an exchange of 2G for 3G with extra costs such as searching and conversion costs. Since the option to exchange is a right that the consumer can exercise or not, application to 3G is deemed an exercise of the option to exchange at most suitable value of the option. The timing to exercise the option depends on the extra costs and the additional communication benefit from new telecommunication quality of service. These affect an optimal timing to apply to 3G. The optimal applying or switching timing to 3G is when an economic value of the option to exchange is equal to an economic value of the extra costs plus the additional telecommunication quality from new telecommunication service. The option analysis used in this paper is applicable to various industries.

  • WMSD occurs by accumulating the visible position and movements. Therefore, it is easier to prevent WMSD from occurring than other diseases when each employee is aware of the factors which cause WMSD. Hence, We need to develop exercise remedy, which can be done without using any exercise equipments and regardless places. The exercise prescription for those for LBP was to do the upper body exercise remedy twice in the morning and another twice in the afternoon and the spinal exercise remedy and the lower body exercise remedy once in the morning and once in the afternoon. We measured their maximum muscular strength every second week using a fitness machine so that we could compare the differences of the muscular strength of the test group and the comparison group. Therefore this research presented the fact that the exercise remedy is effective to prevent and cure LBP through a scientific test. And it confirmed that the exercise remedy by the Ergonomic exercise prescriptions is effective on LBP.

  • The people who is returning to the community after hospital treatment are faced with the choosing where to proceed with rehabilitation exercise with an appropriate exercise specialists based on the current health condition of them. It is required to supprot a personalized exercise rehabilitation service (hereinafter referred to as ARES system) in the community based on individual disease information and health conditions based on hospital clinical data. In this study, we designed a resource management system for online-to-offline (O2O) based coach matching to improve accessibility with facilities and coaches for exercise rehabilitation in the community.

  • PURPOSE: To evaluate the usability of a kiosk-based healthcare service that provides a fitness evaluation and customized exercise program for elderly or chronic musculoskeletal system patients. METHODS: To evaluate the usability of the customized exercise service program, healthy adults (n=20) from Welfare B, located in Gwangju, were selected and studied. Subjective safety, operability, and satisfaction of individual users were obtained as data by distributing questionnaires to subjects who experienced this program and having them fill out the questionnaire. For descriptive statistics related to the survey, frequency analysis was used to determine the frequency and ratio of the variable values of the measurement items. RESULTS: As a result of the usability evaluation, the average score was 4.166, and the average score of each item was 4.025 for safety, 4.272 for operability, and 4.143 for satisfaction. Most users obtained high satisfaction and positive impressions. CONCLUSION: The HARUFIT service, a user-customized exercise program used in this study, can be developed into a device that can improve self-management ability and increase understanding of health care by providing customized exercise based on the results of physical fitness evaluation. It is possible to diversify health management methods and maximize the effect of exercise by making exercise a habit of chronic musculoskeletal disease patients or the elderly using these smart devices.

Methods: The subjects were 464 university students. Data were collected by using self-reported questionnaires. The results were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis with the PASW 18.0 program. Results: The mean score of perceived health status was 3.24, dietary habit was 2.85 and health promoting behaviors was 2.24. There were significant differences in perceived health status according to gender, BMI, exercise and stress. There were significant differences in dietary habit according to residence, monthly allowance, drinking alcohol, exercise, sleeping hours and stress. In addition there were significant differences in health promoting behaviors according to gender, residence, BMI, smoking and exercise. Also, perceived health status significantly positively correlated between dietary habit and health promoting behaviors. Conclusions: As the results of multiple regression analysis, the related factors of perceived health status of university students were exercise, stress and spiritual growth factor. Therefore, it is necessary to develop multiple health promoting programs considering characteristics of university students. • We developed a Smartphone application based on PHR(Personal Health Records) provided by a tertiary hospital to provide users personalized diet, exercise contents. It uses Relevance ratio algorithm of diet and excercise being correlated with diseases listed on PHR to provide personalized contents to management of individual diseases and record the amounts of food taken and exercise along with calories consumed through exercise. Besides, developed U-Health Service also considering users' conditions and conveniences, as a service to use contents and record suitable for the individuals who share the information on restaurants locations, their menus, and nutrition based on users' location information.

  • It is possible to manage individual exercise information using a smartphone application that may be attached to exercise equipment. We propose a service platform that provides effective exercise techniques and management information to athletes by establishing an AI module to analyze and present the current user's exercise volume and exercise intensity direction through analysis of exercise data. To this end, it can be effectively managed by establishing a system based on a cloud environment and builds a hybrid health model that utilizes air and magnetic technologies at the same time.
