Flexural Beam의 형태 변화에 따른 초음파 이송시스템의 동작특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Motion Characteristics of the Ultrasonic Transporting System according to the change of Flexural Beam Shape)

  • In the semiconductor and the optical industry a new transport system which can replace the conventional sliding system is required. There systems are driven by magnetic field and conveyer belt. The magnetic field damages semiconductor and contact force scratches the optical lens. The ultrasonic wave driven system can solve these problem. In this paper, the object transport system using the excitation of ultrasonic wave is proposed. The experiments for finding the optimal excitation frequency, finding phase-difference between two ultrasonic wave generators are performed. The relationship of transporting speed according to the change of flexural beam shape is verified and the system performance for practical use is evaluated.

  • Recently, a new method for reconstructing a forced nonlinear dynamic system has been proposed; specifically, the simultaneous reconstruction of its excitation as well as restoring characteristics of the system. The reconstruction was just theoretically shown to be possible by measuring the system's responses, based on newly introduced notions, a J-function and a zero-crossing time. However, numerically in the current paper, we are to reconstruct a linear system, i.e., we focus on numerical experiments to reconstruct both the excitation and the linear restoring characteristic of a linear forced oscillating system by using response data, based on the J-function and the zero-crossing time.

강제 가진에 의한 교량 플러터계수 추출 (Extraction of Bridge Flutter Derivatives by a Forced Excitation)

  • This study presents the vibration excitation system to extract the aerodynamic stability derivatives which is generally called as flutter derivatives in civil engineering. The system consists of the excitation part to give a forced harmonic motion to the model and the sensing part to measure the aerodynamic forces as well as inertia forces acting on a bridge model. A data processing algorithm for extracting the flutter derivatives from the measured forces is also presented. From the wind tunnel tests, verification of present system was done by comparing the measured and analytical results for rectangular shaped model. The effects of excitation frequencies and amplitudes on flutter derivatives are discussed. Five kinds of actual bridge model were presented from the wind tunnel.

  • In this paper, we design and implement the Korean speech synthesis by rule system. This system is applied the multiband excitation signal on voiced sounds. The multiband excitation signal is obtained by mixing impluse spectrum and which noise spectrum. We find that the quality of synthesized speech is improved using this application. Also, we classify the voiced sounds by cepstral euclidian distance measure for reducing overhead memory. The representative excitation signal of the same group's voiced sounds is used as excitation signal on synthesis. This method does not affect the quality of synthesized speech. As the result of experiment, this method eliminates the "buzziness" of synthesized speech and reduces the spectral distortion of synthesized speech.ed speech.

  • The basic function of an excitation system is to provide direct current to the synchronous machine field winding. In addition, the excitation system performs control and protective functions essential to a satisfactory performance of a power system by controlling the field voltage and thereby the field current. This paper describes the characteristics and modeling of different types of excitation systems and discusses dynamic performances. In this paper, we modified IEEE ACIA and STIA excitation system to simple system. The automatic voltage control system which had been developed by KEPRI is used for experiments and simulations.

  • The excitation control system of an emergency diesel generator is classified as a kind of safety-related system. Compared with other control systems in a power plant, this system is required to be more reliable and have better performance. KEPCO Research Institute successfully developed the excitation control system for a diesel generator. This paper presents its field test results by using a real time simulator on a nuclear power plant.

  • Torque fluctuation of an engine and angular velocity variation of a propeller shaft are the main excitation sources in a vehicle driveline. This paper presents the mechanism of these excitation sources. An equivalent model of the engine system and propeller shaft system is constructed to simulate the excitation phenomena. The analytical model contains the geometrical and dynamic mechanism. Combustion pressure of the cylinder is measured from dynamometer. The computer simulation is carried out by commercial program package. Results of the simulations show the characteristics of the torsional excitation source of the driveline.

  • Dynamics of the electric system for the toroidal drive under mechanical disturbance is presented. Using the method of perturbation, free vibrations of the electric system under mechanical disturbance are studied. The forced responses of the electric system to voltage excitation under mechanical disturbance are also presented. We show that as the time grows, the resonance vibration caused by voltage excitation still exists and the vibrations caused by mechanical disturbance are enlarged. The coupled resonance vibration caused by mechanical disturbance and voltage excitation is discussed. The conditions of the occurrence of coupled resonance are studied.

  • A performance test has been conducted on the dual channel excitation system. In this paper a description of the improved control system with detailed design concept is given. Field tests were done to estimate the system performance as well as to obtain the model parameters. We can get tile Excitation model parameters by simulation based on the field test value and algorithm of parameter estimation identification. With model parameters, Excitation system stability was also verified in this paper.
