Optimum design of Triple-band PIFA using Evolution strategy (Evolution strategy 기법을 이용한 삼중대역 PIFA 최적 설계)

  • In this paper, designed triple-band antenna of PIFA(Planar Inverted-F Antenna) structure with U-slot. We designed optimal PIFA structure using Evolution Strategy(ES) about two U-slot parameters. We materialized API(Application Program Interface) about EM simulator and Excel using VB(Visual Basic). The result of ES for triple-band PIFA are resonant frequency of 430MHz, 910.5MHz, 2458.5MHz.

  • This paper proposes a program architecture integrating different engineering software packages, such as Auto-Cad, Excel and Magnet, for realizing an automatic motor analysis. Based on the architecture, the characteristic analysis of a PM-Assited Reluctance SynchronousMotor (PM-RSM) is automatically executed only if main input data of the motor are fed. To achieve this, API fuctions and Visual Basic Scripts provided by the software packages are thoroughly exploited.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the foreign journals in the field of library and information science subscribed in Korean libraries. The journals were selected from the union catalogs and were analyzed by using the Excel program. The results shows that 1)issues of a particular journal are irregularly scattered in many libraries sometimes lacking many issues 2)some journals are duplicated in many libraries 3)there are great differences in the number of journal subscriptions depending on the geographical differences. It is expected that these results could be well used for the cooperative library services in the future.

  • In recent years, equipment and network standards have been increasing in both number and complexity. Two standards that will soon be introduced to KOREA are the HV standards for assessing distorting and fluctuating loads, IEC 61000-3-6. Utility engineers, being under increasing time constraints, are turning more and more to software to quickly solve problems. This paper describes the methodology used to implement the above standards in Microsoft Excel in order to assist utility engineers to readily apply these standards in practical situations.

  • Airworthiness is a term used to dictate whether an aircraft is worthy of safe flight. It is illegal in most countries to fly an aircraft without first obtaining an airworthiness certificate from the responsible government agency. For developing an aircraft, the design modifications and upgrades are considered a high financial risk proposal for most Program Managers(PMs). However Design-to-Certification Integrated System can be a great help in achieving a good design solution in an acceptable amount of time and flight test. In this paper, we present a method to construct database for the Development of Design-to-Certification Integrated System. By using this database, the human designer could manage and find the regulation and requirements related with his concern effectively.

  • Efforts to identify jobs or tasks having known risk factors for work-related musculoskeletal disorder can provide the groundwork for changes aimed at risk reduction. An effective identification method is the ergonomic job hazard analysis which breaks a job into its various elements or actions, describes them, measures and quantifies the ergonomics risk factors. Some analytical methods including OWAS, RULA, REBA, and NLE have been used as tools in quantifying the risk factors. But these traditional methods using worksheet or paper are difficult to explain to participants for performing the job hazard analysis in the field, and take a long time. We develop some software tools to implement the analytical methods using EXCEL programs or computer program. These tools developed in this study are faster and easier to perform the ergonomic job analysis than the traditional methods using worksheet.

  • Frequency and phasor are the most important quantities in power system operation because they can reflect the whole power system situation. This paper proposes a design and implementation using phase angle difference calculation for frequency measuring in power system. The process is considered to be complicated as compared to the present proposed method. Performance test results, using signals from Excel program, indicate that the proposed technique can provide accurate estimates within 16ms.

  • In order to know what sorts of features of neck fore may be required to make plans for tight fitting collars the neck form of young japanese women were measured three deme-nsionally using. GRASP(Grating projection System for Profiling) and plaster torso. The following results were obtained: 1. We could be known the features of neck form for tight fitting collars by using both plaster torso method and GRASP method. 2. By the BASIC language in NEC computer and EXCEL package program in macin-TOSHI computer it became possible to draft a numble of neck surface automatically there-fore we got analysis of a mass of subjects.

  • The contact and messenger wire is important parts in the electric power system of the railroad. There are so many measurement method like voltage, current, scratch of surface, and glow longer of length. In this paper suggest real time monitering system of messenger wire so called RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) and this system includes CDMA module to transfer real time or saved data of memory to the end user directly who is in the long distance. The hyper terminal program of windows shows the downloaded data from RTU through CDMA communication and this data can be transferred to excel sheet easily.

  • To improve the durability of a hydrogen pressure vessel which is applied high-pressure, it needs the autofrettage process which induces compressive residual stress in the Aluminum liner. This study presents the elasto-plastic analysis to predict the behavior of structure accurately, and the Tsai-Wu failure criterion is applied to predict failure of pressure vessel of Aluminum liner and composite materials. Generally, plastic analysis is more complex than elastic analysis and has much time to predict. To complement its weakness, the AxicomPro(EXCEL program), applied radial return algorithm and nonlinear classical laminate theory (CLT), is developed for predicting results with more simple and accurate than the existing finite element analysis programs.
