Design and Implementation of User-Centered Document Generation System Using RFID Information (RFID 정보를 이용한 사용자-중심 문서 생성 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • Recently, Since growth of the ubiquitous computing environment and development of networking technology, User is a possible to connect the Internet out of constraints of time and space. Using RFID of core technique of ubiquitous computing, various application cases are increasing rapidly. In this paper, we propose design of the User-Centered Document Generation System which can makes several format of documents using RFID information stored in relational database. Our system can makes HTML file, EXCEL file and XML document file that provide for users over internet. Also, whenever user need to the document that can save easy and conveniently them on local computer and then is a possible to exploit them for other works.

An Establishment of Greenhouse Gas Information System using Excel Spreadsheets (엑셀 스프레드시트를 활용한 온실가스 정보시스템 구축)

  • Climate change is the biggest environmental issue of our times. A variety of activities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions have been in progress to observe the Kyoto Protocol. Especially, the Energy Target Scheme is created to reduce greenhouse emission with the supervision of Korean government. This includes Green-house Gas Information Systems to promote activities in the private sector to reduce green-house gas emissions, to cut a cost of energy use, and to reduce GHG emissions. Also, the system has calculated the amount of greenhouse gases. Without any additional investment, 2.75% savings are increased over the previous year. In service sector, a cooperation of customers and employees is necessary. A reduction of GHG emissions requires a proper service organization, considering an amount of investment and payback period. Without any additional investment or replacement, employees can save energy easily turning off ventilation systems an hour before employees' departure, installing timers to turn off water purifiers and vending machines after some period of no use. The Green-house Gas Information System is similar to that of Environmental Management System. However, the Excel is the best program to calculate an amount of green-house gas emissions, and to assess for a reduced amount of GHG emissions. A goal of this research is to propose a practical method in the private sector to calculate an amount of green-house gases. The Green-house gas Information System based on Excel spreadsheet gives standards for good evaluation. The greenhouse gas information system establishes and executes the policies and objectives related to greenhouse gas emissions Similar to ISO 14001 environment management system structures, the advantages of using simplified Excel Sheet for calculating GHG emissions and reducing GHG emissions are easy to access.

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the users' behaviour when interacting with elements based on XML documents retrieval system and develop approaches for XML retrieval which are effective in user-based environment. We followed the experimental guidelines from the INEX 2006 iTrack organizers. For the research goals, 16 responses from the questionnaires per subject and system logs were collected and analyzed using Excel and SPSS 17.0.

  • The optimal byproduct gas supply system was developed for the optimal management of the byproduct gases in the iron and steel making process based on EXCEL environment.   • The purpose of this study was to gain insights into investigating the feasibility on integrating computational thinking(CT) into school mathematics. Definitions and the components of CT were varied among studies. In this study, CT in mathematics was focused on thinking related with mathematical problem solving under ICT supportive environment where computing tools are available to students to solve problems and verify their answers. The focus is not given on the computing environment itself but on CT in mathematics education. For integrating CT into mathematical problem solving, providing computing environment, understanding of tools and supportive curriculum revisions for integration are essential. Coding with language specially developed for mathematics education such as LOGO, and solving realistic mathematical problems using S/W such as Excel in mathematics classrooms, or integrating CT into math under STEAM contexts are suggested for integration CT into math education. Several conditions for the integration were discussed in this paper.

  • 빗물이용시설은 2014년 「물재이용법」 개정에 따라 시설 확충에 맞춘 획일적인 운영으로 시설수는 증가하고 있으나 대상 시설의 이용량 증가에 대한 부분은 한계를 나타내고 있다. 따라서 설치 의무대상시설에 대한 적정한 시설의 이용현황을 조사 및 분석을 통해 이용시설의 효율적인 운영 및 관리 방안 마련이 필요한 실정이다. 빗물이용시설의 효율적 관리방안 설정을 위해서는 의무 대상시설별 설치 및 운영관리 실태조사, 빗물이용시설관련 기준 검토 및 분석, 빗물이용시설 개선방안 마련의 단계로 방안을 수립하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 빗물이용시설 기준 검토 및 분석에서 지역별, 수요처별, 용도별 일정 빗물이용 활용률을 확보할 수 있는 빗물이용시설의 평가를 위해 수문학적 물수지 분석을 통한 물수요-공급시계열 분석을 수행하였다. 물수지 분석 툴이 없기 때문에 본 연구를 통해 빗물이용시설 물수지 분석 excel 도구를 개발하였으며, 이를 통해 빗물이용시설 공급충족률(필요수량 대비 빗물이용량), 빗물보장률(전체일수 대비 빗물이용일수), 빗물이용시설 이용률(빗물이용시설용량 대비 빗물이용가능량)에 대해 분석을 수행하였다. 개발한 물수지 분석 excel 도구를 이용하여 현재 설치되고 운영하고 있는 의무대상시설의 운영현황과 도구에서 계산된 활용성 평가 결과의 비교를 통해 현재 운영 현황을 개선할 수 있으며, 다양한 시나리오 적용에 따른 운영 결과를 시설 설치 이전에 확인하여 최적 운영방안 도출에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • We have developed inventory database program which is available in the mobile PC. The mobile PC is convenient in terms of portability, data input, modification, practicality of various program and data confirmation in site. By utilizing the inventory database program in mobile PC, we are able to complete database in site. Then, database is converted into the Hangul document and Excel worksheet. Also, based on the above procedure, effective management and utilization of inventory on cut-slope can be achieved.

  • In this study, an analytical model was developed for one-dimensional finite element analysis (1D FEA) of a spindle system of machine tools and then implemented to automate the FEA as a tool. FEA, with its vibration characteristics such as natural frequencies and modes, was performed using the universal FEA software ANSYS. VBA of EXCEL was used to provide the programming environment for its implementation. This enabled graphic user interfaces (GUIs) to be developed to allow interactions of users with the tool and, in addition, an EXCEL spreadsheet to be linked with the tool for data arrangement. The language of ANSYS was used to develop a code to perform the FEA. It generates an analytical model of the spindle system based on the information at the GUIs and subsequently performs the FEA based on the model. Automation helps identify the near-optimal design of the spindle system with minimum time and efforts.

  • This study developed practical computer program COL2 to design of generic shape reinforced concrete short columns subjected to combined compression and biaxial bending. The program COL2 has been developed for user-friendly environment using Excel 97 for windows 95. Several examples including for analysis of geometrically complex column sections subjected biaxial bending are included in this paper.

  • For extrusion processes in the process industry, the need to build smart factories is increasing. However, in most extrusion production sites, the production method is continuous, and because the properties of the data are undeed, it is difficult to process the data. In order to solve this problem, we present a methodology utilizing a near field communication (NFC) sensor rather than water-based data entry. To this end, a wireless network environment was built, and a data management method was designed. A non-contact NFC method was studied for the production performance-data input method, and an analysis method was implemented using the pivot function of the Excel program. As a result, data input using NFC was automated, obtaining a quantitative effect from reducing the operator's data processing time. In addition, using the input data, we present a case where a bottleneck is improved due to quality problems.
