Let G = O(2) $\times$ O(2) $\times$O(2) and let M$^4$be closed G-invariant minimal hypersurface with constant scalar curvature in S$^{5}$ . If M$^4$has 2 distinct principal curvatures at some point, then S = 4. Moreover, if S > 4, then M$^4$does not have simple principal curvatures everywhere.

A method to design a robust servomechanism by continuously variable structure control is proposed. The state and control signal of this servomechanism do notchatter since a continuous control scheme is used. The input-output relation of this servomechanism is determined by prescribing a hyperplane in a state space of which the neighborhood is asymptotically attractive everywhere. This control mechanism was applied to a single rod cylinder servomechanism which has the nonlinerities due to their nonsymmetrical structure and its excellency was verified.

We prove the Hyers-Ulam stability for trigonometric type functional inequalities in restricted domains with time variables. As consequences of the result we obtain asymptotic behaviors of the inequalities and stability of related functional inequalities in almost everywhere sense.

In this paper, we consider split quaternionic functions defined on an open set of split quaternions and give the split quaternionic functions whose each inverse function is sp-hyperholomorphic almost everywhere on ${\Omega}$. Also, we describe the definitions and notions of pseudoholomorphic functions for split quaternions.

According to the Bernoulli-Euler theory of elastic rods the bending energy of the wire is proportional to the total squared curvature of ${\gamma}$, which we will denote by $F({\gamma})=\int_{\gamma}k^2ds$. If the result of J.Langer and D.Singer [3] extend to knotted elastic curve, then we obtain the following. Let {${\gamma},M$} be a closed knotted elastic curve. If the curvature of ${\gamma}$ is nonzero for everywhere, then ${\gamma}$ lies on torus.

In this article we show that every quasi-homogeneous convex affine domain whose boundary is everywhere differentiable except possibly at a finite number of points is either homogeneous or covers a compact affine manifold. Actually we show that such a domain must be a non-elliptic strictly convex cone if it is not homogeneous.

Air pollution is made up by complex mixture exhausted from cars, industries and incinerators etc. Those pollutants come from everywhere without border and contain phototoxic and photogenotoxic chemicals including PAHs exhausted in the air. We have published that the chemicals which show phototoxicity and photogenotoxicity are closely related in mechanistic and the PAHs react as a strong photocatalyzer by radical productions under UV exposure.(omitted)

Recently, with the spread of digital camera and PC cam, need of tools for display and manipulation of digital images have increased remarkably. These tools are called as digital album. Af now, people want to see picture not alone in home but share with someone else. The purpose of this study is to develop a digital album, which is easy to use, easy to approach and has more function. Therefore people can see picture everywhere he want and management it. If computer is connected In Internet.

본 연구는 IT생활화 개념을 도입하여 IT기술을 전통산업, 국방, 의료, 교육 등 사회 8대 분야에 접목시켜, 무선 통신분야에서의 응용 서비스를 구현할 수 있는 소요기술 및 공통기반기술을 도출하고, 계층분석(AHP, Analytic Hierarchy Process)기법을 활용하여 IT생활화를 구현할 수 있는 핵심기술 도출 및 우선 순위를 선정하였다 연구결과의 의미는 다음과 같다. 첫째, AHP모형을 활용하여 15개 핵심기술 후보군 중 4대 중점기술분야에서 가장 중요하다고 판단된 핵심기술은 초고속 패킷 무선전송기술(4G), 이동네트워크 및 시스템기술, 무선LAN/MAN기술, 무선 홈 링크기술, 주파수이용 핵심기반기술, 위성 탑재체 개발기술로 선정되었다 둘째, 평가항목의 상위요소는 기술성이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 그 다음으로는 경제성, 파급효과, 공공성 순으로 중요도가 평가되었으며, 평가항목의 하위요소는 기술상용화 가능성, 시장성, 경제적 파급효과가 가장 중요한 하위 요소로 인식되었다 셋째, 서비스-기술-기술개발 전략을 통하여 기술개발전략을 제시하였다 기술성과 경제성을 기준으로 해서 핵심 기술 포트폴리오를 구성하여 선도기술, 수출경쟁력이 있는 기술, 틈새기술, 사회적 수요를 창출할 수 있는 응용서비스 기술 등 4대 기술개발전략을 수립하였다

인터넷 전자상거래의 발달로 데스크 탑 컴퓨터만이 아니라 냉장고, 달리는 차 안, PDA 휴대 전화 등 생활 영역 곳곳에서도 전자상거래를 할 수 있다. 다양한 기기들에서 전자상거래를 하기 위해 쇼핑몰들은 여러 화질의 이미지를 제공해야 한다. 현재의 전자상거래 시스템을 같은 상품 이미지라도 쇼핑몰들이 각각 저장하고 있다. 웹 이미지 서버는 쇼핑몰이 더 이상 이미지를 저장하지 않도록 이미지를 제공하는 중앙 집중적인 이미지 저장소이다. 따라서, 웹 이미지 서버를 이용하면 여러 쇼핑몰의 저장공간을 간편화할 수 있다. 또한, 이미지를 효율적으로 사용할 수 있고 쇼핑몰의 이미지의 갱신과 관리가 쉽게 이루어질 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 구현된 웹 이미지 서버를 쇼핑몰 관리 기능, 사용자 로그 기록 기능과 이미지 카탈로그 기능을 추가하여 확장하였고, 웹 서버 성능 평가 툴인 WAS를 이용하여 웹 이미지 서버 시스템의 응답시간을 측정하여 비교하였고, 사용자를 계속 증가시켜 웹 이미지 서버의 안전성을 평가하였다.
