$CO_2$-EOR (Carbon Dioxide-Enhanced Oil Recovery), one of the enhanced oil recovery methods, helps to not only enhance the production of oil, but also store carbon dioxide in underground. However, if micro fractures occur when during the injection of $CO_2$, it is difficult to make permanent storage of $CO_2$ in reservoir and can cause contamination of groundwater and soil. Therefore, in this study, we performed microseismic monitoring to investigate the occurrence of fractures during the $CO_2$ injection at the Meruap oil reservoir, Indonesia. To pick the first arrivals of microseismic events, Improved MER (Modified Energy Ratio) method was used. After picking the first arrivals, hodogram analysis was carried out by using the data recorded at three component geophones to calculate the back azimuth of events. Finally, locations of microseismic events were decided by using the results of first arrival picking and hodogram analysis. Estimated locations showed that all microseismic events were occurred at surface and any fracture did not occur around the reservoir. Moreover, by analyzing noise characteristic, we confirmed that almost of picked first arrivals were due to the repetitive mechanical noise.

Background: Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) are conditions with significant morbidity and mortality. Proximal DVT has a significant association with PE and possible fatal outcomes. Traditionally, PE is subdivided into symptomatic PE and asymptomatic PE, which have different treatments, preventions and prognoses. The growing utilization of computed tomography pulmonary angiography has led to increased detection of PE in DVT patients. This study examined the clinical characteristics and compared symptomatic PE and asymptomatic PE following proximal DVT. Methods: The medical records of 258 DVT inpatients from July, 2012 to June, 2015 were reviewed retrospectively. After excluding the patients who did not performed PE evaluation and were not diagnosed with PE, 95 patients diagnosed with PE following proximal DVT were enrolled in this study. They were divided into the symptomatic PE group and asymptomatic PE group. Results: The body weight, body mass index, thrombus size, thrombus length and location were similar in the two groups. The symptomatic PE following proximal DVT group showed an older age, higher incidence of emergency department access (85.0% vs. 38.7%, p<0.001) and preceding infection (25.0% vs. 1.3%, p<0.001) as well as a higher incidence of immobilization (45.0% vs 13.3%, p=0.016). In the multivariate logistic regression study, preceding infection and emergency department access showed significant association with symptomatic PE. Conclusion: In proximal DVT inpatients, symptomatic PE was associated with emergency department access and preceding infection. The possibility of a symptomatic PE event should be considered in proximal DVT patients, especially those who were admitted through the emergency department and had preceding infection.
A theme park is a complex space, in which held is a performance & exhibition event created to make visitors feel fun and a deep impression through a certain theme. Recently, local governments are increasingly planning for theme parks with the aim of local economy revitalization. Accordingly, this paper set up a development model for a Korean culture theme park after deducting success factors for creating a successful theme park through the case of Korean culture theme park. To be concrete, this paper deducted the success factors through literature research and case research as follows: Setting of themes having identity and consistency; programs that can give fun and a deep impression; convenient support facilities reflecting customers' needs; differentiated marketing for progress in customer attraction power; location linked with cultural resources around a theme park and a space for communicating a message; privately-initiated project promotion and the main body of operation; target setting consequent on market segmentation, and demand forecast, etc. A theme park cannot be successfully operated to contribute to local economy revitalization until such success factors should be closely linked and harmonized with each other. In addition, in order for a theme park to make a continued growth, it's required that problems occurring at the operational stage should be endlessly improved, and contents strengthening should be continuously done in line with circumstances of the times and viewers' eye level.

The seismic reinforcing system is developed to prevent damage to electric panels which are installed on the access floor and are essential to the operation of various basic facilities such as electric power and communication etc., from earthquakes. The seismic capacity of seismic reinforcing system is verified through the shaking table test. The seismic reinforcing system is intended for the electric panel on the access floor, and installation is possible without movement and power interruption of the electric panel. The enveloped response spectrum is adopted considering the location of the electric panel in the building as input motion for the shaking table test. The shaking table tests are carried out with two electric panels that can be considered representative of general electric panels, and two types of access floors such as wood panel and steel panel, which are commonly used in the industrial field. As a result of tests, it is confirmed that the seismic reinforcing system secures the seismic safety of electric panels by preventing the overturning of electric panels during and after the shaking table tests. In the event that the seismic reinforcing system is applied to the electric panel on the access floor, damage to the electric panel from an earthquake can be effectively prevented, which can greatly contribute to the stable operation of domestic basic facilities.

In this study, the hybrid authorization quotation technique is based on the device ID for the integrity of the source region guarantee of user certificate, in order to improve the convenience and security for user in the hybrid PKI certificate Mechanism for authentication. The feature of the model in which it is presented from this paper is 5. First, because the user can select the policy himself in which it matches with each authentication situation and security level, the convenience can be improved. Second, the integrity of the source region of the user certificate can be guaranteed through the comparison of the DLDI Key, that is the hash-value of the device ID. Third, the security can be improved by continuously changing an encoding, and the value of the key in which it decodes through the EOTP Key. Fourth, the index value is added to a certificate, and the storage of a certificate is possible at the Multi-Device. Fifth, since the addi the inan aratus for the integrity of the source region guarantee of a certificate is not needed, the authentication process time can be reduced and the computational load of the certificate server can be reduced also.

Recently, a single or multi processor system uses the hierarchical memory structure to reduce the time gap between processor clock rate and memory access time. A cache memory system includes especially two or three levels of caches to reduce this time gap. Moreover, one of the most important things In the hierarchical memory system is the hit rate in level 1 cache, because level 1 cache interfaces directly with the processor. Therefore, the high hit rate in level 1 cache is critical for system performance. A victim cache, another high level cache, is also important to assist level 1 cache by reducing the conflict miss in high level cache. In this paper, we propose the advanced high level cache management scheme based on the processor reuse information. This technique is a kind of cache replacement policy which uses the frequency of processor's memory accesses and makes the higher frequency address of the cache location reside longer in cache than the lower one. With this scheme, we simulate our policy using Augmint, the event-driven simulator, and analyze the simulation results. The simulation results show that the modified processor reuse information scheme(LIVMR) outperforms the level 1 with the simple victim cache(LIV), 6.7% in maximum and 0.5% in average, and performance benefits become larger as the number of processors increases.
Aerosol optical properties as well as vertical location of layer can alter the radiative balance of the Earth by reflecting and absorbing solar radiation. In this study, radiative transfer model (RTM) and satellite-based analysis have been used to quantify the top-of-atmosphere (TOA) radiative effect of aerosol layers in the cloudy atmosphere of the northeast Asia. RTM simulation results show that the atmospheric warming effect of aerosols increases with their height in the presence of underlying cloud layer. This relationship is higher for stronger absorbing aerosols and higher surface albedo condition. Over study region ($20-50^{\circ}N$, $110-140^{\circ}E$) and aerosol event cases, it is possible to qualitatively identify absorbing aerosol effects in the presence of clouds by combining the UV Absorbing Aerosol Index (AAI) derived from Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS), cloud parameters derived from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectro-radiometer (MODIS), with TOA Upward Shortwave Flux (USF) from the Clouds and the Earth's Radiant Energy System (CERES). As the regional-mean radiative effect of aerosols, 6 - 26 % lower the USF between aerosols and cloud cover is taken into account. These results demonstrate the importance of estimation for the accurate quantification of aerosol's direct and indirect effect.
As a mathematical technique with which we can find the minimum duration time needed to fire all the transitions at least once and coming back to the initial marking in a timed net, the minimum cycle time method has been widely used in computer system analysis. A timed net is a modified version of a Petri net where a transition is associated with a delay time. A delay time used in a timed net is a constant even though the duration time associated with an event in the world is a stochastic number in general. In the consequence, the result of minimum cycle time analysis is not realistic. Therefore, we propose ‘Stochastic Timed Net' where a transition can be associated with a stochastic number and introduce a minimum cycle time analysis method for ‘Stochastic Timed Net’ As an example of the application of ‘Stochastic Timed Net’, we introduce a ‘Stochastic Timed Net' model of a Location Based Service Providing Multimedia System and the result of minimum cycle time analysis of it. Whereas the typical form of the result of the existing minimum cycle time analysis is 'It takes at least 10 time units', the typical form of the result of minimum cycle time analysis of a ‘Stochastic Timed Net' is in the probability form such as "The probability of the events in which it finishes its job within 10 time units is 85%."

The purpose of this study is to present the most effective smoke exhaust mode by comparing the quantitatively evaluated risks according to the smoke exhaust mode when a train fire occurs in a subway platform. Therefore, applying the typical subway platform as a model, train fire scenarios are developed with the evacuation start time and location of the fire train for each exhaust mode. The fire accident rates (F) are calculated and the number of fatalities (N) was quantitatively estimated by fire analysis and evacuation analysis for each scenario. In addition, the F/N curve compared with the social risk assessment criteria and the following conclusions were obtained. In the event of a train fire at the subway station platform, the evacuation must start up within 600 s in maximum to ensure the evacuees' safety. To secure evacuation safety, it is advantageous to operate the HVAC system of the platform in the air-supply mode at station without TVF. Comparing the F/N curve for each exhaust mode with the social risk criteria, it turned out that the risk significantly exceeds the social risk criteria in case of no mechanical ventilation. As a result, this paper shows that the ventilation mode in which TVF are exhausted and HVAC system is operated in the pressurized mode are the most effective smoke exhaust mode for ensuring evacuation safety.
This study analyzes the Required Safe Egress Time (RSET), in the event of a fire at a welfare center for the disabled, using the emergency passage according to the floor arrangement of users to evaluate the safety and the difference in RSET for each emergency passage using the Pathfinder simulation program to suggest an efficient evacuation method. As a result of RSET, it was found that there is no problem in evacuation safety for the current state of the facility's personnel allocation by satisfying the standard RSET in case of fire, and evacuation can be completed safely by evacuating through stairs rather than using elevators if possible. It is necessary for employees to be provided sufficient education and training in advance so that they can evacuate effectively with the disabled in case of fire. This study gives significance in saving many precious lives and safely evacuate in case of fire as evacuation routes were secured through the design, construction and operation of facilities for the disabled and the RSET was shortened through regular evacuation practices. It is necessary to discuss the further RSET studies based on the automatic fire shutters open or not when a fire occurs at a specific location following the installation of automatic fire shutter at the entrance of each floor of the facilities.
