SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) 기반의 VoIP(Voice over IP) 시스템의 구성 요소에서 레지스트라(Registrar)는 사용자들의 Registration 정보들을 저장 및 관리하는 역할을 한다. 네트워크상에서 이 Registration 상태는 관리자의 정책 등에 따라 동적으로 변화하게 되므로 사용자는 변경는 상태 정보를 알 필요성이 생긴다. Registration Event Package는 UA(User Agent)가 Subscriber로서 Registration 상태의 변경에 대한 통지를 요청할 수 있고 알림(Notification)을 통해 얻을 수 있는 매커니즘를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 SIP 환경에서 이러한 Registration Event Package를 구현하여 사용자가 동적으로 변화되는 Registration 상태 정보를 알림을 통해 받을 수 있도록 하였다.

중앙 집중형 컨퍼런스 모델은 컨퍼런스 관리 및 제어가 용이한 장점이 있으나 컨퍼런스 사용자 수가 증가할수록 성능의 저하가 커지므로 확장성에 제약이 있다. 따라서 중앙 집중형 컨퍼런스 모델의 확장성을 개선할 수 있는 새로운 분산형 컨퍼런스 모델들이 최근 제안되고 있다. 이러한 분산형 컨퍼런스 구조에서는 컨퍼런스사용자가정해진 최대값을 넘을 경우 동적으로 새로운 컨퍼런스 서버가 추가되며, 본 논문에서는 이러한 분간형 컨퍼런스 환경에서 주 컨퍼런스 서버가 담당해야 할 컨퍼런스 이벤트 패키지의 처리 방식을 효율화 시킬 수 있는 새로운 방식을 제안하였다. 주 컨퍼런스 서버는 부 컨퍼런스 서버들 및 사용자들과 컨퍼런스 이벤트 패키지를 사용해 정보를 교환하며. 자신이 관리하는 컨퍼런스 정보 데이터베이스에서 컨퍼런스 사용자들에 대한 통지 기능을 분담할 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) UA(User Agent)들을 선정하여 이들의 목록을 각 컨퍼런스 서버들에게 전송한다. 이를 수신한 각 컨퍼런스 서버들은 선정된 UA들이 컨퍼런스 이벤트 패키지 처리를 분담하도록 하여 컨퍼런스 서버에서의 SIP 신호 처리 부하를 줄일 수 있으며 분산형 컨퍼런스 모델에서의 확장성을 개선시킨다. 제안된 시스템의 성능은 실험을 통하여 분석하였다.

인터넷과 컴퓨터 기술의 발전으로 다자간에 실시간 회의를 진행할 수 있는 컨퍼런스(Conference) 서비스에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)를 기반으로 하여 presence 서비스를 포함한 음성과 영상 회의가 가능한 컨퍼런스 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이를 위해 구성한 시스템의 요소는 컨퍼런스 UA(User Agent)의 기능을 가진 사용자 시스템과 Presence 서버 및 컨퍼런스 서버이다. Presence 서비스는 SIP PUBLISH 메시지를 이용한 Publication 방식을 사용하여 사용자들 간의 다양한 상태 정보 파악과 컨퍼런스로의 초청 및 참여가 쉽도록 구현하였다. 다자간의 연결 설정 및 관리를 담당하는 컨퍼런스 서버에는 컨퍼런스 이벤트 패키지(Conference Event Package)를 포함시켜 동적으로 변화하는 컨퍼런스 정보 및 참여자의 정보를 SIP의 등록(Subscription)과 알림(Notification) 기능을 통해 제공하도록 하였다.

The purpose of this study of was to provide basic data for preparing event menus to increase customer's satisfaction by investigating university students' participation and preference for the event menus in the foodservice operations. The questionnaires were distributed to 300 customers from August 1 to 31, 2005. 88.0% of the questionnaires were analyzed. Statistical analysis of data was performed using SAS package program(version 8.2) for descriptive analysis and $χ^2$-test, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Duncan multiple range test. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : 50.4% of the students have participated in foodservice operation's event and the average degree of the satisfaction was 2.67 out of 5. The type of the events customers have most frequently participated in were the national holiday·subdivisions of the season event(47.3%), the day event(34.1%), environment event(26.9%) and so on. In large classification, preferred were season event(85.2%), international food event(76.9%), and healthy food event(73.1%) and so on. In small classification, orgarnic food event(53.0%), summer fruits festival(41.3%), midsummer event(36.6%) and christmas event(34.4%) and so on. From now on, the event reflecting customers' expectation and requirement should be planned and implemented.

인터넷 망에서 멀티미디어 컨퍼런스를 실현하고자 하는 노력은 이 십여년도 넘게 지속되고 있으며, H.323기반의 컨퍼런스 제어에 대한 표준 기술 및 관련된 많은 응용들이 개발되어 왔다. 그러나, 이러한 연구 노력은 표준 기술의 복잡성 등의 문제를 안고 있다. 반면, 인터넷 망에서의 멀티미디어 컨퍼런스에 대한 사용자의 요구는 점점 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 사용자 요구와 기존의 컨퍼런스 표준 프로토콜의 취약점을 해결하고자 하는 노력이 최근 IETF를 중심으로 이루어지고 있으며, 현재 VoIP 분야에서 H.323을 대체하고 있는 SIP을 사용하여 멀티미디어 컨퍼런스 제어에 적합한 표준 기술을 제정하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SIP 기반의 컨퍼런스 시스템에서 컨퍼런스 상태정보를 처리하기 위한 컨퍼런스 이벤트 패키지에 대해 살펴본다.

Transit event of exoplanet is a good example of observational studies with youth, because the event is geometrically simple and its analysis is essential to astronomical observation. Therefore, we developed the package of data reduction and aperture photometry in Python for educational purpose. In 27 July, we observed the transit event of TrES-3b with the students of "NYSC Space Science Club" program, and presented the Python package, PyPhotW for data reduction and aperture photometry. PyPhotW consists of simple functions for youth to understand the processes easier. Nonetheless, the photometric results of PyPhotW show a good agreement with those of Source Extractor, ${\Delta}m{\sim}-0.01{\pm}0.03$ and $-0.04{\pm}0.08$ for TrES-3b and TrES-5b time-series observations in 27 - 28 July.

SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) 기반의 중앙 집중형 방식의 컨퍼런스 서비스 모델은 다른 모델들에 비해 컨퍼런스의 관리와 서비스가 용이한 장점을 가지고 있다. 그러나 구성 요소인 미디어 서버가 컨퍼런스 서버에 포함되어 구현되는 경우 컨퍼런스의 수 및 참여자의 수가 많아지면 서버의 부하가 상대적으로 커지는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 개선하는 방법으로써 컨퍼런스 서버에 컨퍼런스 이벤트 패키지(Conference Event Package)를 포함시켜 컨퍼런스와 참여자들의 효율적인 관리를 담당하고 미디어 서버 기능을 사용자 시스템에 포함시켜 컨퍼런스를 처음 개설한 참여자의 시스템에서 처리하는 방식의 모델을 제안하고 구현하였다. 따라서 컨퍼런스 서버의 부하가 줄어들어 기존의 중앙 집중형 방식에 비해 보다 많은 컨퍼런스를 개설 및 관리가 가능할 뿐만 아니라 컨퍼런스가 개설된 이후의 참여자들은 미디어 세션의 성립을 위해서 단지 컨퍼런스를 개설한 사용자와만 호 처리를 수행하여 컨퍼런스를 진행할 수 있는 장점을 가진다.

중앙에 컨퍼런스 서버가 위치하여 컨퍼런스 전체를 제어하고 관리하는 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) 기반의 밀결합 형태의 컨퍼런스 방식은 포커스(focus)와 믹서의 위치에 따라 중앙 집중형, 단말서버형, 미디어 서버 분리형, 믹서 분산형 등 여러 모델로 분류할 수 있는데 모두 각각의 장단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 서버와 참가자 사이에 오가는 SIP 시그널링 메시지 양을 줄일 수 있고 서버의 미디어 믹서 부하를 경감시킬 수 있으며 또한, 대규모 컨퍼런스로의 확장이 용이한 SIP 기반의 효율적인 혼성 형태의 컨퍼런스 모델을 제안하고 이를 설계 및 구현하였다. 이 모델에서는 참가자 수가 미리 정해진 일정한도를 넘으면 서버는 특정 기능을 가진 참가자들을 선택하여 이들로 하여금 컨퍼런스 상태 이벤트 패키지의 통지 기능 및 미디어 믹서 기능을 서버와 분담하도록 한다. 각 참가자는 서버에 컨퍼런스 상태 이벤트 패키지를 등록할 때 특정 헤더 메시지로 이와 같은 기능의 보유 여부를 알릴 수 있고 서버는 컨퍼런스 정보 데이터베이스에 이를 표시하여 나중에 기능을 분담할 참가자들을 선정할 수 있게 된다. 제안된 방식은 실험을 통하여 성능을 측정하였다.

A power distribution network (PDN) is a network that provides connection between the voltage source supply and the power/ground terminals of a microprocessor chip. It consists of a voltage regulator module, a printed circuit board, a package substrate, a microprocessor chip as well as decoupling capacitors. For power integrity analysis, the board and package layouts have to be transformed into an electrical network of resistor, inductor and capacitor components which may be expressed using the S-parameters models. This modeling process generally takes from several hours up to a few days for a complete board or package layout. When the board and package layouts change, they need to be re-extracted and the S-parameters models also need to be re-generated for power integrity assessment. This not only consumes a lot of resources such as time and manpower, the task of PDN modeling is also tedious and mundane. In this paper, a block-based PDN modeling is proposed. Here, the board or package layout is partitioned into sub-blocks and each of them is modeled independently. In the event of a change in power rails routing, only the affected sub-blocks will be reextracted and re-modeled. Simulation results show that the proposed block-based PDN modeling not only can save at least 75% of processing time but it can, at the same time, keep the modeling accuracy on par with the traditional PDN modeling methodology.
