  • The dimensions and forms of precise machined parts are different to kinds of machine. It will be variant according to machine wear, tool form, cutting method and cutting condition at the same machine. At that time, the most important things are controlled and measured by appropriate measuring instruments. This paper aims to contribute to improving measurement accuracy through evaluation and consideration about various roundness in the machining company.

  • 최근, 산업제어 시스템의 개방화로 인해 민간, 공공 분야 정보시스템에서 구조적 패러다임의 큰 변화가 제안되고 있다. 이에 따라, 기존 정보시스템의 보안 기술 수준으로 대응할 수 없는 미래 주요 기반 시설 제어시스템의 잠재적 사이버 보안 문제가 최근 대두되고 있으며, 이러한 보안 취약점에 대응하기 위해 다양한 기반 시설 제어 시스템 환경에 대해 입체적으로 보안 취약성을 평가할 수 있는 보안 평가 도구가 필요하다. 하지만 현재 국내 사이버 보안 평가 환경은 점검 항목의 대부분이 기술적인 영역에 한정되어 있어 한계점이 존재한다. 이를 극복하기 위해, 미국의 사이버 보안 평가 도구인 CSET(Cyber Security Evaluation Tool)을 국내 다양한 기반 시설의 제어 시스템 환경에 맞게 적용하기 위한 많은 연구가 필요하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 기존의 보안 평가 도구를 적용하는 다양한 연구 사례 분석을 통해 국내 원전, 전력 등의 기반 시설에 적용할 방안에 대해 분석하고 앞으로의 연구 방향을 제안한다.

분석툴을 이용한 천리안2A 기상탑재체 복사 보정 파라미터 검증 (Verification of GEO-KOMPSAT-2A AMI Radiometric Calibration Parameters Using an Evaluation Tool)

  • 천리안2A호 AMI(Advanced Meteorological Imager) 복사 보정에 대한 검증은 탑재체의 기능 및 성능 점검뿐만 아니라, 탑재체 자료의 품질을 결정 짓는 중요한 요소이다. AMI 탑재체는 여섯 개의 가시 및 근적외 채널과 10개의 열적외 채널로 구성되어 있다. 가시/근적외 채널의 복사 성능을 대표하는 핵심적인 파라미터로는 SNR(Signal-to-Noise Ratio), 열적외채널의 경우는 NEdT(Noise Equivalent delta Temperature)를 들 수 있다. 다이나믹 레인지와 검출기의 반응도와 관련된 Gain 값 또한 복사 보정 성능과 관련된 중요한 파라미터이다. AMI 탑재체의 주요 복사 보정 성능 검증을 위해, 실시간 AMI자료 처리 시스템과는 별도의 오프라인 복사 성능 분석 툴을 개발하였다. 개발된 분석 툴을 이용하여 천리안2A호 발사 후 궤도상 시험 기간 동안 검증 작업을 수행하였다. 분석 툴을 통한 계산 결과는 탑재체 개발업체인 HARRIS사의 분석 값과 비교 검증하였다. AMI 복사 성능 검증 작업은 총 세차례로 나누어 AMI탑재체 양쪽 면인 Side1과 Side2에 대해 이루어졌다. 복사 성능 검증 결과 주요 복사 보정 파라미터들의 성능은 요구조건 값들을 크게 상회하는 우수한 성능을 보여 주었으며, AMI 복사 성능 분석 툴의 유효성이 입증되었다.

Total Diet Studies as a Tool for Ensuring Food Safety

  • With the diversification and internationalization of the food industry and the increased focus on health from a majority of consumers, food safety policies are being implemented based on scientific evidence. Risk analysis represents the most useful scientific approach for making food safety decisions. Total diet study (TDS) is often used as a risk assessment tool to evaluate exposure to hazardous elements. Many countries perform TDSs to screen for chemicals in foods and analyze exposure trends to hazardous elements. TDSs differ from traditional food monitoring in two major aspects: chemicals are analyzed in food in the form in which it will be consumed and it is cost-effective in analyzing composite samples after processing multiple ingredients together. In Korea, TDSs have been conducted to estimate dietary intakes of heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxins, persistent organic pollutants, and processing contaminants. TDSs need to be carried out periodically to ensure food safety.

의복관련 맞음새 평가에 관한 연구동향 - 2000~2016년 국내학회지를 중심으로 - (Trend of Studies on the Evaluation of Clothing Fit - Focusing on Domestic Research Journals of 2000~2016year -)

  • This study is aimed to research the trend of studies on the evaluation of clothing fit using the domestic research journals. clothing fit has long been regarded as the most important element to customers in clothing appearance. Understanding fit from a consumer's perspective is complex. 85 articles were collected from domestic academic sites (KISS, DBpia, KiSTi). Many clothing fit articles published on the 2011-2016 year. In research target, young women were more than other age groups. On the evaluation of clothing fit, method of clothing fit classified survey using the questionnaire and wearing test. Many articles were used the survey using the questionnaire, 57.7%. The other articles were used wearing test with professional analyst and objective evaluation tool. Objective evaluation was used 3D virtual wearing systems (i-designer, DC suit, CLO et al). In the survey using the questionnaire and wearing test using the objective evaluation, jacket and pants were researched on the clothing items mainly. Many young women put on the jacket and pants to active energetically. In the future, researches related clothing fit need to develop the objective and accuracy evaluation tool of clothing fit.

집단미술치료가 치매 노인에게 미치는 영향에 대한 체계적 고찰 (A Systematic Review on the Effects of Group Art Therapy on the Older with Dementia)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to present evidence by analyzing the characteristics and effectiveness of group art therapy interventions through an examination of domestic studies on group art therapy for older people with dementia. Methods : The database used DBpia, Riss, and Google Scholar, and the research period was from 2016 to November 2021. For the selected studies, the level of evidence was analyzed, bias evaluation was performed, and patient, intervention, comparison, and outcome were analyzed. For the evaluation of bias, the risk of bias assessment tool for non-randomized study (RoBANS) and Cochrane's risk of bias (RoB) were used. Results : As for the level of evidence of the included studies, level I consisted of five studies, and levels II and III each had one article. As a result of the bias evaluation of five studies through RoB, a "low risk of bias" was found for incomplete result data, selective result reporting, and others, except for four unclear evaluation areas. The "low risk of bias" ratio was 0~25 % in the evaluation of bias in two studies through RoBANS. For the evaluation tool, cognitive evaluation tool was used the most while mini-mental state examination-Korea was used the most frequently. For the intervention method, the most frequently used was group art therapy that employed recall in three studies, while collage, Korean painting, use of paper media, and procedural memory were used in each of the other studies. Each intervention was found to be significantly effective overall. Conclusion : This study provided clinical evidence by systematically reporting research on group art therapy for older people with dementia. In the future, it is necessary to check the effect of group art therapy on various areas other than cognition for older people with dementia. Moreover, the study should be conducted with the risk of bias sufficiently taken into consideration.

Evaluation and Design Tools for the Reliability of Wind Power Converter System

  • As a key part in the wind turbine system, the power electronic converter is proven to have high failure rates. At the same time, the failure of the wind power converter is becoming more unacceptable because of the quick growth in capacity, remote locations to reach, and strong impact to the power grid. As a result, the correct assessment of reliable performance for power electronics is a crucial and emerging need; the assessment is essential for design improvement, as well as for the extension of converter lifetime and reduction of energy cost. Unfortunately, there still exists a lack of suitable physic-of-failure based evaluation tools for a reliability assessment in power electronics. In this paper, an advanced tool structure which can acquire various reliability metrics of wind power converter is proposed. The tool is based on failure mechanisms in critical components of the system and mission profiles in wind turbines. Potential methodologies, challenges, and technology trends involved in this tool structure are also discussed. Finally, a simplified version of the tool is demonstrated on a wind power converter based on Double Fed Induction Generator system. With the proposed tool structure, more detailed information of reliability performances in a wind power converter can be obtained before the converter can actually fail in the field and many potential research topics can also be initiated.

고속가공에서 공구형상 변화에 따른 가공성평가 (Machinability evaluation according to variation of tool shape in high speed machining)

  • The technique of high speed machining is widely studied in machining field. Because the high efficiency and accuracy in machining can be obtained in high speed machining. Unfortunately the development of tool for high speed machining is not close behind that of machining tool. So in this study, we made 4 types flat end mill for obtaining data according to tool shape. Especially, we concentrated in helix angle and number of cutting edge. First we confirmed cutting condition by several experiments and measuring cutting force, tool life, tool wear and chip shape according to cutting length. In results, we acquired the fact that 45 degree helix angle and six cutting edge tool is suitable for high speed machining.

Arc 용접시 Fume 발생량 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Welding Fume Generated during Arc Welding)

  • The cases of welders illness by welding fume generated during arc welding are recently reported, which makes the legal regulation in the welding work place. Also, this situation makes the employers and welders be concerned about the welding fume seriously. At this point of time it is necessary that a standard testing method is developed as a fundamental tool for the evaluation of Fume Generation Rate(FGR) required for making progress in the development of low fume electrodes and welding process technology and also constructing the ventilation system in welding area. However, the current standard(KS D 0062) is only applicable to the manual covered electrode arc welding. In this study the evaluation procedure for the FGR is established by developing the fume collection chamber which can be applicable to semiautomatic and automatic arc welding as well as manual arc welding. This evaluation system and procedure can be used as a tool not only to develop the low fume welding electrode and welding process technology but also to construct the equipment controlling the welding workshop atmosphere.

  • In complex industrial world, many companies make every effort to analyze their competition capability through various performance evaluation tools to cope with rapidly changing business environment. Among evaluation tools the balanced scorecard (BSC), put forward by Kaplan and Norton in 1992, is a strategic performance management tool for measuring whether the smaller-scale operational activities of a company are aligned with its larger-scale objectives in terms of vision and strategy. The BSC tool offers a comparative advantage over others to evaluate the objective achievement of a company by linking its strategic objectives with operational KPI. In this paper, we introduce a case that the BSC performance evaluation system was implemented based on product data management and applied it to the business process. Specially, we shows a implementation procedure to derive discipline-specific topics and key performance metrics.
