Spoofing attacks including meaconing can provide a bogus position to a victim GPS receiver, and those attacks are notably difficult to detect at the point of view on the receiver. Several countermeasure techniques have been studied to detect, classify, and cancel the spoofing signals. Based on the countermeasure techniques, we have developed an anti-spoofing equipment that detects and mitigates or eliminates the spoofing signal based on raw measurements. Although many anti-spoofing techniques have been studied in the literatures, the evaluation test system is not deeply studied to evaluate the anti-spoofing equipment, which includes detection, mitigation, and elimination of spoofing signals. Each study only has a specific test method to verify its anti-spoofing technique. In this paper, we propose the performance evaluation test system that includes both spoofing signal injection system and its injection scenario with the constraints of stand-alone anti-spoofing techniques. The spoofing signal injection scenario is designed to drive a victim GPS receiver that moves to a designed position, where the mitigation and elimination based anti-spoofing algorithms can be successively evaluated. We evaluate the developed anti-spoofing equipment and a commercial GPS receiver using our proposed performance evaluation test system. Although the commercial one is affected by the test system and moves to the designed position, the anti-spoofing equipment mitigates and eliminates the injected spoofing signals as planned. We evaluate the performance of anti-spoofing equipment on the position error of the circular error probability, while injecting spoofing signals.
The objective of this study is to empirically develop performance evaluation measures for LIS (logistics information systems) based upon BSC (balanced scorecard) model and determine the relative importance among four perspectives of BSC using AHP (analytic hierarchy process) methodology. Above all, forty nine probable measures for evaluating LIS performance were identified through reviewing the previous research related with SCM (supply chain management), logistics management, and information systems evaluation. And then, these probable measures were examined by means of coincidence analyses using three mutually exclusive criteria(validity of content, ease of measurement and reliability of measurement). Data for conducting the coincidence analyses were collected from LIS users and LIS development personnel. As the results of the coincidence analyses, it was found that 31 ones among 49 probable performance evaluation measures theoretically derived could be qualified for LIS performance evaluation. And AHP analysis showed that the weight of each perspective was respectively as follows : 46.8% for financial perspective, 31.3% for customer perspective, 14.8% for internal business process perspective, and 7.1% for learning and growth perspective. The academic contribution of this study is that performance evaluation measures for LIS could be systematically and empirically developed on the basis of BSC. Also, the results of this study are expected to be used as a practice guideline of evaluating and improving LIS.

To meet the local requirement i.e. the tropical stress of Andhra Pradesh and marginal farmers, twenty four new hybrid combinations were tested in Line x Tester method involving eight newly developed polyvoltine oval lines viz., MSO1, MSO2, MSO3, MSO4, MSO5, MSO6, MSO7 and MSO8 and three bivoltine silkworm breeds viz., APS12, APS45 and APS8 as testers. These hybrids were reared to evaluate their performance. Data for eight economically important metric traits viz., fecundity, cocoon yield per 10,000 larvae by number, cocoon yield per 10,000 larvae by weight, survival rate, cocoon weight, cocoon shell weight, cocoon shell ratio and filament length was recorded. General combining ability (gca), specific combining ability (sca) and heterosis were analyzed. Further, the relative merit of the hybrids for all the traits under study was also assessed adopting Evaluation Index method. Based on combining ability effects, heterosis and evaluation index, five hybrid combinations viz., MSO3 $\times$ APS45, MSO1 $\times$ APS12, MSO7 $\times$ APS8, MSO2 $\times$ APS45 and MSO1 $\times$ APS45 were selected for further evaluation in different seasons.
KAs information and knowledge are increasingly becoming more important in the knowledge-driven society, knowledge management, as a very important management paradigm, is securing firm position in private and public sectors. Complying with this paradigm, government-funded research institutes in science-technology sector are actively utilizing knowledge management by employing knowledge management system and evaluating its applications' performance. The purpose of this study is to develop evaluation items and measurement indices to rationally measure knowledge management performance of the government-funded research institutes and to verify the feasibility of applying these evaluation items and indices. To achieve this research goal, the evaluation model of knowledge management performance was constructed by reviewing and integrating the existing studies, and subsequently, evaluation areas, evaluation items, measurement indices were derived from this evaluation model. Also, the feasibility analysis on the evaluation items and measurement indices was performed by means of FGI(Focus Group Interview) with the knowledge management experts belonging to Korean government-funded institutions in science-technology sector. The implications of this study are as follows : in theoretical perspective, this study has proposed a criterion frame to evaluate knowledge management performance, and has rationally drawn evaluation items and measurement indices from the criterion frame. And in practical perspective, this study has improved the validity and practicality of the measurement indices, which can lead to more reasonable and easier evaluation of knowledge management performance of the government-funded research institutes.

This paper describes a progressive test and evaluation strategy for verification of Korean Fighter eXperimental (KF-X) AESA(Active Electronically Scanned Array) radar development. Three progressive stages of development test and evaluation were officially performed from simulated test conditions to actual operating conditions according to standards: radar function/performance and avionics integration. KF-X AESA radar development is repeatedly verified by progressive stages consisting of five tests: Roof-lab ground test, System Integration Laboratory(SIL) ground test, Flying Test Bed(FTB) test, KF-X ground test, and KF-X flight test. As a result, the risk factor decreases as stages and tests progress. Therefore, development test and evaluation of KF-X AESA radar are successfully performed at low development risk.
The C-ITS requires the lane level positioning of the vehicle in the land transportation environment, and it is most effective to utilize the GNSS. In the precision positioning system based on satellite navigation, the evaluation of dynamic environment of lane level positioning performance should be accompanied and the evaluation system configuration should be preceded. In this paper, we selected performance indicators, assessment equipment, and reliability of reference equipment for evaluation of precision positioning user systems based on the GNSS. The performance evaluation system described above is applied to a real system, and the performance evaluation tool developed for the evaluation system is described. The numerical performance evaluation was carried out based on the data collected by carrying out the actual testbed driving. The performance evaluation by the actual driving trajectory and driving image comparison was performed to derive and analyse the evaluation results of the vehicle lane level positioning user system.
The growth of disaster/accident damage costs and related industries has increased the necessity of scientific and objective performance analysis for fire suppression and disaster management R&D projects. Most of R&D performance are both academic and public performance according to fire suppression and disaster management R&D projects during the period of 2004 to 2011. This research identified characteristics of performance types by research project teams and research development stages. The research outcome shows the usefulness of relevant performance objective settings by project teams, the evaluation of scientific technology fields, and proper research teams in research team selection process, considering research outcome characteristics by both research teams and research development stages. In addition, this research reveals the applicability of research outcomes to research performance management. This research suggests further studies for evaluation process and methods for including fire suppression and disaster management characteristics to the evaluation process.

The acceleration and the angular velocity that include natural frequencies of a missile detected by Inertial Measurement Unit(IMU) are transmitted to the control loop of a missile. The control loop command that is calculated using above signals can cause the resonance of the missile while it flies. Hence it is common to adapt the filter and the control loop for attenuating or eliminating the undesired signals such as natural frequencies. This paper introduces the new test technique using a floating system for performance evaluation of the designed filter and the control loop prior to a flight test. The proposed scheme can check out the degradation property of vibration in the filter and the control loop, while the conventional hardware-in-the-loop simulation(HILS) scheme cannot.

This study reviewed selected specific windows and reviewed the window performance certification criteria including KS F 2278 and KS L 9107 and analyzed the change in performance based on the change of area. This study also compared the heating and cooling loads of an apartment house applied with window performance reviewed in consideration of insulation and SHGC performance and actual size based on KS F 2278. The analyzed window was a double window composed of aluminum and PVC and the building was the apartment house model of 141 ㎡. The analysis results were as follows. First, as the window glass's thermal performance is superior to frame, the performance degraded in reduced area. In case of selected window, the 1 m × 1m window's thermal performance and SHGC decreased by 35% and 37% respectively compared to 2 m × 2 m window. Secondly, in the comparison of performance for increasing area with 2 m × 2 m and 3 m × 3 m windows, the 3 m × 3 m window's thermal performance and SHCG increased about 14%. Third, in the comparison of heating and cooling loads of the analyzed model considering the apartment house model applied with window performance derived from KS F 2278 and actual figures, the model's total heating and cooling loads increased by 33% with cooling decreasing by 36% and heating increasing by 77%. Above analysis results show that evaluation of window performance based on criteria such as KS F 2278 and KS L 9107 may lead to distortion of performances different from actual products. Thus, it is necessary to suggest new evaluation criteria.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the current evaluation methods on faculty performance at Korean engineering colleges and develop teaching evaluation indicators for faculty performance. We investigated the faculty performance cases in engineering colleges inside and outside of the Korea, the engineering faculty's awareness of evaluation factors for their educational performance, and the appropriate ratios by indicating factors. Also we developed evaluation indicators for educational achievements to improve the current faculty performance system. 227 engineering faculty members answered our survey questionnaire. The result in the case study on faculty performance evaluation is as follows. First, most items of faculty performance evaluation are about quantitative indicators that can easily conduct objective evaluation. Second, evaluation items of faculty performance are mostly focused on instruction in a classroom. Third, the evaluation by students and administrative managers is more dominant than that by professors or their colleagues, document evaluation than on site evaluation, general evaluation than formative evaluation, and static evaluation than dynamic evaluation. Lastly, Some universities tend to substitute outstanding articles for underperforming instruction. The evaluation indicators that we have developed can be implemented by four types of subjects, such as students, professors, their colleagues, and deans. Also, based on the evaluation indicators, faculties can freely select their evaluation domains depending on the their tracks, such as a teaching track, a research track, or an industry-university cooperation track. The mandatory evaluation fields include teaching, student counselling, teaching portfolio evaluation by mentors or colleagues, class management evaluation by deans, and self-evaluation. The other areas are optional and professors can choose their evaluation factors.
