Effect-Evaluation of Nutritional Education Program Using Internet for School Children (아동을 대상으로 한 인터넷 영양교육 프로그램의 효과분석)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the effects on elementary school children of Internet-based nutrition education programs. The subjects consisted of 80 boys and girls (book-loaming group : 42, Internet-based teaming group : 38) in the 5th grade of elementary school. The results were as follows : The evaluation of Internet-based education programs by Internet-teaming group showed above average in all domains. As the favorite and wholesome menu chose‘nutrition kingdom’(52.6%) made of animation. The educational effect of this program was evaluated by comparing the methods of the Internet-learning group with those of the book-learning group. For effect-evaluation were measured the degree of nutrition knowledge and diversity score of dietary intake from before and after education. Before undertaking the program, there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of their nutrition knowledge. However, the nutrition knowledge of the Internet-based teaming group after the program had increased significantly (p < 0.01) compared to the book-learning group. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of the diversity of dietary intake before the start of the program, but upon its completion, the Internet-based learning group showed a significant increase compared to the book-loaming group (p < 0.05). This suggests that Internet-based educational programs could be effective in drawing the interest and boosting the concentration levels of schoolchildren.   • To enhance the practical usage of solely quantitative evaluation method for each students on the current public education fields which might cause some social problems, an intelligent and adaptive fuzzy logical inference methodology for the additional qualitative evaluation technique is proposed to utilize each students personal characteristic properties to be evaluated. Proposed method uses some verbal descriptions for the linguistic qualifier in addition to the grade points. An imaginary virtual experimentation only has been implemented due to some difficulties with the critical national educational policy problems in the case of some possibly real and practical experimental environments to be utilized for the simulation.

The Evaluation of Driver's Physiology Signal and Sensibility according to the Change of Speed and the Gap of Platoon on AHS (AHS에서 차량군의 속도와 거리 변화에 따른 운전자의 생체신호와 감성 평가)

  • The one of the most important factors is the platoon design on developing AH3(Advanced Highway System), as it is related to traffic efficiency and drivers' safety. This study was evaluated that how much speed is comfortable for drivers and how long distance is appropriate for vehicular gap of platoon by measuring drivers' physiology signal and sensibility. A fixed-based AHS simulator was developed by using a real vehicle cockpit and the restructured part of Korean highway for human factors evaluation. The EEG(electroencephalogram), ECG (electrocardiogram) and GSR(Galvanic Skin Response) were measured for obtaining drivers' physiology signal according to the change of speed and gap. The brain wave(${\alpha},\;{\beta},\;{\delta},\;{\theta}$) by EEG, the response of the autonomic nervous system. the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, by ECG, and relax-arousal situation by GSR were analyzed. The SD(Semantic Differential) method was also applied to evaluate drivers' sensibility by 5-grade evaluation scale with 96 adjectives. SSQ(Simulator Sickness Questionnaire) was used to measure the simulator sickness of pre and post driving, two times. As the results, drivers were comfortable with 120km/h speed of platoon and lam to 15m vehicular distance. The results of this study may differ from the adaption of the reality because of many parameters. However, the purpose of this study is show to significant results of the drivers' safety and the acceptability of human factors evaluation.

A Study on a National Scale on Medical Service in General Hospitals (전국종합병원 의료서비스 연구)

  • Nowadays, many people are deeply interested in health and well-being. Ministry of Health and Welfare showed the results of evaluation of medical service of seventy eight general hospitals in 2005. The number of its medical service variables was eighteen and the evaluation was carried out in eight regions on a national scale. Our study used the result data of the evaluation and presented the descriptive and inferential research findings. Thus, relations between the eight regions in Korea and 18 variables were studied, using ANOVA, etc., the significant results were found, and through regression analysis we estimated slope parameters of significant variables and could let the persons concerned know which variables were more important or less important and suggested which variables should specially be strengthened for higher ranking of the overall evaluation and for acquisition of the excellent grade, A.

  • This paper present a methods for performance evaluation of digital governor and we treat the way to reduce the trial and error when the developed digital governing system is applied to station. The parameters of the model are estimated using input-output data, the model adjustment technique and a genetic algorithm(GA). To verify validity of the completed model, the comparision model and real output signals have been carried out. The developed digital governing system is applied to Sumjingang hydro-power plant, Korea Hydro Nuclear Power Corporation, it has replaced mechanical governing system. Test was performed in order to demonstrate the performance evaluation of the digital governor parameters.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect on the evaluation or a female teachers' role-performance based on appearance according to backgrounds of students and their parents. For this study, data was collected between October 19 and 29, 2005 by means of a questionnaire designed to gauge a subject's evaluation of a teacher's abilities in learning guidance, living guidance, and human relations. The researchers selected two middle schools and four high schools in the city of Gwang-ju. The 398 surveys completed were analyzed using factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, t-test and descriptive statistics. According to the study, the evaluation of a female teacher's abilities varies with the backgrounds of both students and their parents. Among the students tested perceptions were affected by gender, grade level and type of school attended. For mothers there were differences based on age, occupation and family income.

Students' Awareness of Questions for Course Evaluation in Department of Dental Hygiene (치위생과 학생의 강의평가 문항에 대한 인식)

  • This study has been conducted to investigate the awareness of questions for course evaluation with targets of 968 students in Department of Dental Hygiene at 6 colleges(universities) in Busan, Gyeongnam and Ulsan areas. The reliability, Cronbach' ${\alpha}$, of awareness of questions for course evaluation was .862, which was high. Data analysis was performed by using SPSS IBM. SPSS. Statistics. v. 19.0 program with the significance level of 0.05. As the results of this study, first, awareness score of questions for course evaluation was the average of 2.99, which was high. Second, the important factor of questions for course evaluation in entire grade was contents of class and teaching methods, and it was 59.3%, which was the highest. Third, the relevance between important factors of course evaluation and reliability of questions for course evaluation was the average of 3.06, which was higher than the validity of 2.97. Fourth, the correlation between reliability and validity of questions for course evaluation was 0.608, which showed a strong positive correlation.

  • The evaluation methods of river naturalness were reviewed, and one of the best methods was applied to three sample rivers-Narinchun, Bokhachun, Anyangchun. As a result, Narinchun with well preserved state, Bokhachun with being to restoration stage from the damaged, Anyangchun with severe damaged state showed 2$^{nd}$ , 3$^{rd}$ and 4$^{th}$ Grade. The application result shows the method is reliable for evaluating the damaged habitat in river. The method was improved on the evaluation items to apply lager river systems. This suggested method have 14 evaluation items with two category-river shape and river environment and five different Grades for evaluation degree according to state of natural closeness. The every 2,000-3,000m along the river system is recommended as the interval of evaluation unit. According to calssification of evaluation items, this method can supply various information related to river environment and ecology such as ecological deformation and diversity, cross sectional structure and continuity of river shapes..

  • Wheel test and potentiodynamic polarization methods were used to evaluate the relative effectiveness of some hydrogen sulfide corrosion inhibitors for the wet gas pipeline API 5L grade X 65 steel. Five commercially corrosion inhibitors have been studied in the deoxygenated produced water solutions containing 10 ppm and 100 ppm of hydrogen sulfide. Based on the experiment results the steel corrosion inhibition mechanism in discussed and two most effective corrosion inhibitors are selected.

  • 본 논문에서는 교사가 학생의 성적을 효과적으로 평가하기 위하여 유사 척도 방법을 이용한 서술식 성적평가 시스템을 제안한다. 사용자(교사)로부터 수행평가요소의 결과와 과목의 최종적인 평가를 퍼지 추론에 적용하여 객관적인 성적평가를 한 후, 추론규칙과 실제 학생의 점수의 유사도를 이용하여 가장 높은 값의 성적평가 문장을 추출하여 서술식 평가 문장을 생성하도록 하였다.
