  • 의료기기중 체외에서 인체로 물리적 에너지를 가하거나 그 의료기기의 에너지를 이용하여 인체의 화학적 변화를 이용하여 치료를 하는 것은 고도의 신뢰성과 안정성이 요구된다. 특히 인체의 모든 부분 중 가장 외부로 노출되어있는 피부에 대한 치료는 매우 중요 하다고 할 것이다. 이러한 관점에서 보았을 때 피부 치료 시 발생 할 수 있는 모든 위험 요소를 줄이고 치료의 효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 장비의 개발은 높은 치료 효과와 안전성 확보를 위하여 반드시 필요하다고 할 것이다.

A study on Automatic field Test Equipment with improved maintenance and environmental reliability

  • In this paper, I purpose one of the development methods for portable Automatic field Test Equipment(ATE) with VME form factor. Almost portable ATE have not used to standards form factor and they are connected by mechanical non-rigid general connectors and wire harnesses among the components. Furthermore, it is hard to reuse developed board. So, it decreases to reusability of developed board and it is hard to maintenance of ATE. Even those things have weakness for vibration and drop test especially in portable ATE. The XK9A1 ATE using VME form factor has environmental reliability through vibration, drop, temperature test. It consists of 5 developed board called the control board, the wire & wireless communication board, the power supply board, the load board and the mother board. It is connected by two wire harnesses between mother board and extern circular connectors. The control board send the data and address to other board though each 16-bit data and 20-bit address line. You can develop the function board what you want to using those data & address line when it comes to needing other function board.

탑재비행시험용 무선 점검장치 개발에 대한 연구 (A Study on Development of Wireless Check-up Device for Captive Flight Test)

  • In this paper, a study on a wireless check-up method of test equipment for captive flight test(CFT) was conducted. For CFT, test equipment is mounted on a POD, and check-up is carried on the test equipment's. For check-up the POD wirelessly, battery, power distribution unit, wireless communication devices were designed within the POD, and a check-up device is designed outside of the POD. Once the external check-up device sends a 'start signal' to the POD, it performs the overall check-up procedures and transmits the 'end signal' to the external check-up device. Detailed check-up results are stored in an internal storage device, and are possible to read from external check-up device if necessary, thereby improving the reliability of the wireless check-up. By implementing and applying these wireless check-up system, the reliability of the check-up was enhanced by dynamical and movable check-up, and safety is guaranteed as the check-up was carried without access to the aircraft.

Design and Implementation of Intelligent IP Switch with Packet FEC for Ensuring Reliability of ATSC 3.0 Broadcast Streams

  • The terrestrial ATSC 3.0 broadcasting system, which is capable of converging broadcast and communication services, uses IP based technology for data transmission between broadcasting equipment. In addition, data transmission between broadcasting equipment uses IP-based technology like existing wired communication network, which has advantageous in terms of equipment construction and maintenance In case IP based data transmission technology is used, however, it may inevitably cause an error that a packet is lost during transmission depending on the network environments. In order to cope with a broadcasting accident caused by such a transmission error or a malfunction of a broadcasting apparatus, a broadcasting system is generally configured as a duplication, which can transmit a normal packet when various types of error may occur. By this reason, correction method of error packets and intelligent switching technology are essential. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a design and implementation of intelligent IP switch for Ensuring Reliability of ATSC 3.0 Broadcast Streams. The proposed intelligent IP consists of IP Stream Analysis Module, ALP Stream Analysis Module, STL Stream Analysis Module and SMPTE 2022-1 based FEC Encoding/Decoding Module.

  • The nuclear power plant uses the steam which occurs from reactor and T/G the drive. By the T/G in consequence of the fact that the electricity which is produced the power and supplies in transmission system. But, recently the transmission and generation system are placed under deregulation situation from domestic and foreign, the maintenance control is difficult with the accident or the breakdown which relates is increasing. Hereupon, considering for effect to the reactor core against trip element which it does apply a probability concept from the NRC of the United States and it study and the recognition for the importance of the switchyard which is a power equipment which will be revaluated. Hereupon using the American example, the reliability establishment method which is suitable in domestic and it searches it does.

  • This paper presents a visualization application using 3D-graphics for effective maintenance of power equipment. The maintenance algorithm implemented in the application is based on Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) and Reliability -Centered Maintenance (RCM). The main frame of the developed application was made up based on Windows Application Programming Interface (API) and Microsoft Fundamental Classes (MFC). In order to develop the interactive 3D application, the WorldToolKit (WTK) library based on Open GL was used. Also Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology was used to enhance the efficiency of operators. The developed application can help the power system operators to intuitively recognize the present state and maintenance information of the equipment.

  • In this paper, we propose the principles and design details of Automatic cable assembly test system and show its utility. Testing the cable assembly is required periodically or non-periodically in the system that the cable assembly performance is quite important like military equipment. There are several weaknesses when humans test the cable assembly manually. It not only takes much time but also could happen human error. To improve these disadvantages, I developed Automatic cable assembly test system. The system can be implemented by building switching control system that connect and disconnect the cable assembly and measuring devices. Through the result of the cable assembly test with this test system, we show this system makes test time short and improves of test reliability as compared with manual test.

  • Occasionally, equipment in a distribution system fails due to damage from weather, vandalism, or other causes. In addition, it is recommended practice to have some way in which maintenance or replacement of every element in a system can be performed without causing lengthy interruption of electrical service to the customers it feeds. Thus, alternate sources, paths, and configurations of service must be planned so that both failures and maintenance do not affect customer service beyond a reasonable amount. In some cases, planning for alternate routes of service during equipment outages or emergencies -- will be the major aspect influencing selection of a feeder's capacity, type of route, or layout. We want to know the relationship between molt-dividing multi-connection and distribution reliability for contingency support considerations.

  • Delay time analysis is a pragmatic mathematical concept readily embraced by engineers which has been developed as a means to model maintenance decision problem. This paper considers an inspection period using delay time analysis for fishing vessel equipment. We assume that delay time distribution is Weibull and inspections are perfect. In this paper, we determine the optimal inspection period which minimize the expected downtime per unit time.

  • The development of automatic production systems have required intelligent diagnostic and monitoring functions to overcome system failure and reduce production loss by the failure. In order to perform accurate operations of the intelligent system, implication about total system failure and fault analysis due to each mechanical component failures are required. Also solutions for repair and maintenance can be suggested from these analysis results. As an essential component of a mechanical system, a bearing system is investigated to define the failure behavior. The bearing failure is caused by lubricant system failure, metallurgical deficiency, mechanical condition(vibration, overloading, misalignment) and environmental effects. This study described slab transfer equipment fault train due to stress variation and metallurgical deficiency from lubricant failure by using FTA.
