본 연구의 목적은 본 연구의 목적은 최근 국제무역이 활발하게 진행되는 과정에서 발생하는 다양한 규제들 중에서 IT 분야의 규제들에 알아보고 글로벌 시장으로 진출하기 위한 대응전략을 제시한다. 급속한 과학기술의 발전과 더불어 인류가 당면한 가장 문제인 환경 분야에 대한 이슈가 나타나고 있으며, 이중 화학물질에 대한 규제가 강화 되면서 각국은 적극저인 환경규제와 이슈에 대한 대응 전략을 모색하고 있다.

The IMO (International Maritime Organization) has mandated the restriction of SOx emissions to 0.5 % for all international sailing vessels since January 2020. And, a number of countries have designated emission control areas for stricter environmental regulations. Three representative methods have been suggested to cope with these regulations; using low-sulphur oil, installing a scrubber, or using LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) as fuel. In this paper, economic analysis was performed by comparing the method of installing a scrubber with the method of using low-sulphur oil without installing additional equipment. We suggested plausible layouts and compared the pros and cons of dif erent scrubber types for retrofitting. We selected an international sailing ship as the target vessel and estimated payback time and benefits based on navigation route, fuel consumption, and installation and operation costs. Two case of oil prices were analyzed considering the uncertainty of fuel oil price fluctuation. We found that the expected payback time of investment varies from 1 year to 3.5 years depending on the operation ratio of emission control areas and the fuel oil price change.

Ground-level ozone, an air pollutant that is monitored by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), damages human health by irritating the respiratory system, reducing lung function, damaging lung cells, and aggravating asthma and other chronic conditions. In March 2008, the EPA strengthened ozone standards by lowering acceptable limits from 84 parts per billion to 75 parts per billion. Here epidemiologic data is used to study the effects of ozone regulation on human health and assessed how various regulatory standards for ozone may affect nonaccidental mortality, including respiratory-related deaths during ozone season. The assessment uses statistical methods based on hierarchical Bayesian models to predict the potential effects of the different regulatory standards. It also analyzes the variability of the results and ho they are impacted by different modeling assumptions. We focused on the technical an statistical approach to assessing relationship between new ozone regulations and mortality while other researches have detailed the relationship between ozone and human mortality. We shows a statistical correlation between ozone regulations and mortality, with lower limits of acceptable ozone linked to a decrease in deaths, and projects that mortality is expected to decrease by reducing ozone regulatory standards.

환경오염과 에너지 절약차원에서 세계적으로 빛도 공해의 하나로 인식하고 각 나라에 맞는 법규와 규제 방식을 정하여 옥외조명을 관리하고 있다. 반면 국내에서는 광해 대책 안이 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국내실정에 적합한 규제안과 광해 계산법을 마련하기 위해서 국제 조명단체들이 제시하는 광해계산법을 조사 분석하였다. 또한 여러 도로조명기구들을 선정한 후 광해계산법과 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 적용하여 광해요소들을 비교 분석하였고, 결론으로 우리나라에 맞는 광해 규제안을 제시하였다.

Great attention form a public health aspect has centered on the safety of tissues residues of veterinary drugs and environmental contaminants, with intensification of animal husbandry, the use of veterinary drugs will become increasingly important. Heavy responsibility is placed on the veterinarian and livestock producer to observe the period for withdrawal of drug prior to slaughter to assure that illegal concentrations of drug residues in meat, milk and egg do not occur. Every nation has their own regulations in relation to the residues and the guidelines on the use of veterinary drugs to fulfil the regulations, and their own national residue programs to monitoring and eliminate illegal products. Good practice of veterinary drug by users and governmental surveillance programs are very important to ensure animal food safety.

According to the nation's greenhouse gas emission statistics, greenhouse gas emissions have been stiffly increasing. Accordingly, the importance of CO₂ reduction is more getting focused over the world. This trend makes the construction equipment be considered as a major target of reduction due to the large volume of emission. This study suggests the feasible methodology for estimating CO₂ emission from construction equipment and for being easily applied on the job sites. The methodology is based on the collection from the segmented CO₂ emission information of construction equipment. This study allows site personnels to estimate the total amount of CO₂ and to take appropriate actions for reasching the environmental regulations.

Every effort is now being exerted in industrialized and developing countries to reduce emission of greenhouse gases from electric power sector. In this paper, we provide supply-side resource mix strategies in the long-term generation expansion planning under the expected greenhouse gas regulations. Under the environmental regulations, we explore the least-cost generation expansion plan of Korea and determine the composition of future resource mixes. Our analysis is performed on the basis of the revised WASP package which can evaluate emission of carbon dioxide from each power plant. The evaluation process of carbon dioxide emissions, which can consider the efficiency and operating conditions of each generator simultaneously, has been incorporated into the probabilistic production cost simulation module of WASP.

전자 및 컴퓨터 산업의 발전으로 반도체 산업은 비약적으로 발전하고 있다. 그러나 반도체 제조 공정에서 필수적으로 사용되는 각종 환경 오염 물질에 대한 규제가 세계적으로 강화되고 있어 반도체 업계의 적극적인 환경 대응책이 없이는 반도체 수출에 대한 선진국의 제재를 피하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 청정 기술 측면에서, 반도체 산업의 환경영향 개선을 위한 세정 공정의 기술적 대체 방안에 대하여 조사하였다. 세정 공정의 대안으로서 기상 세정 공정, UV 사용 공정, 플라즈마 사용 공정을 조사하였으며, 각 공정의 장단점을 비교하였다.

선박의 추진 및 전기 발생장치의 연료에 포함되어 있는 황산화물이 연소 중에 대기로 방출되는데 이러한 황산화물들은 공기오염의 주된 원인이 되고 있다. 행상에서 선박에 의해 발생하는 황산화물은 육상운송 수단에 의한 것 보다 훨씬 심각하여, 국제 해사 기구 및 유럽연합에서는 해상에서 선박에 의해 발생되는 황산화물 배출에 대한 규제를 강화하고 있다. 해양에서 황산화물 배출 규제를 근본 적으로 만족하기 위해서는 저유황의 연료유사용하는 것이고, 다른 한 가지는 선박에 황산화물 처리장치를 설치하여 배출되는 황산화물을 처리하는 것이다. 저 유황유의 사용은 선주들에게 운항비 증가를 가져다 주며, 처리 장치의 설치는 선가 상승의 원인이 될 수 있어, 선박이 어떤 해역을 운항하는 가에 따라 적용 방법에 대한 세심한 주의가 요한다. 본 소고는 이런 국제 규제의 변화와 대응에 대한 검토와 제언을 담고 있다.

Objectives: Among the regulations that have recently attracted a lot of social attention in Regulation on Occupational Safety and Health Standards, we would like to specifically present the reasons why even companies with strong will to comply with regulations that are not effective or entail a number of legal problems, and suggest ways to improve them. Methods: The facts were confirmed and identified through various methods such as interviews and meetings with labor inspectors who enforce the Regulation on Occupational Safety and Health Standards and safety officials at industrial sites experiencing them. Results: Due to the lack of effectiveness in Regulation on Occupational Safety and Health Standards, there are not a few areas that do not function properly as a preventive standard. Although operating the regulatory nature of punishment as an administrative guideline without basing it on Regulation on Occupational Safety and Health Standards is a direct violation of the principles of the administration of the rule of law, there are many expedient ways to replace what should be placed in this rule as just an administrative guideline. Conclusions: It should be prioritized to explicitly stipulate effective regulations within the Regulation on Occupational Safety and Health Standards. In addition, as regulations on occupational safety and health standards play a large part in preventing industrial accidents, comprehensive and practical measures are indispensable rather than fragmented and formal measures to ensure that these rules function properly in the prevention industrial accidents.
