The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of real certification schools of environment-friendly architecture per ecological environment elements through extracting ecological environment elements which is possible to analyze in quantity certification standards of environment friendly architecture. As the method of this study, firstly, certification as an examination on certification system of environment-friendly architecture, summary of certification system of environment-friendly architecture and eco-school pilot model project, ecological environment elements which is possible for quantitative analysis of ecological environment certification standards were extracted. Secondly, actual condition of ecological environment elements per school grade by collecting actual data of certification schools environment-friendly architecture were analyzed. As a result, total 35 environment-friendly school facilities are clarified that the average composition ratio of ecological area ratio is 23.0% in case of this certification regardless of school grade and region.

Second, actual condition of ecological environment elements per non-certification high school by collecting actual data of certification schools environment friendly architecture were analyzed and the results are as the follows. The average of ecological area ratio was 17.8 percent in case of non-certification school facilities it was analyzed that the natural based green area ratio was 17.5 percent, continuous green axis length ratio was 19.0 percent and roof green garden area ratio was 0 percent.
The purpose of this study is to suggest improvement of certification standards of environment friendly architecture in ecological environment field by surveying and analyzing actual status of actual certification schools of environment friendly architecture per ecological environment elements through extracting ecological environment elements which is possible to analyze in quantity certification standards of environment friendly architecture. As contents of the study, first, certification as an examination on certification system of environment friendly architecture, summary of certification system of environment friendly architecture, ecological environment elements which is possible for quantitative analysis of ecological environment certification standards were extracted. Second, actual status of ecological environment elements per school grade, region, and population increase by collecting actual data of certification schools of environment friendly architecture. Third, using analysis data of ecological environment elements, ecological area ratio of certification schools of environment friendly architecture per weighted values of space types was calculated and the results were analyzed as the follows. (1) In case of preliminary certification out of total objects of investigation schools was average 34.06% but in this case of certification, it was reduced to 33.07%. However, it is difficult to make judgment as actual evidence data since ecological area ratio of actual preliminary certification is data based on drawing planes. Therefore, in case of this certification, elementary schools was investigated at average 33.11%, middle schools 34.81%, and high schools 31.28% and middle school showed the highest relatively. (2) Besides, average composition ratio of ecological area ratio was 63.04% in case of this certification regardless of school grade and region and it was analyzed that about 70% of ecological area ratio is composed of the natural based green area including pure natural based green land and 6.89% of ecological learning institute.
A survey on the understanding of environment-friendly certification system was conducted for certified operators. The survey included the necessity of certification system, difficulties in producing certified products, and general evaluation of the current certification system. Certified operators were generally satisfied with the certification system in terms of the certification standards, the public subsidy programs, and the farm management costs. Individuals with parallel production farms were relatively less satisfied than the group with full-time organic farmers. Analysis using the ranking probit model indicated that the longer the certification experience, the more highly aware the need for the certification system was. Our results indicated that policy strategies are needed to enlarge the marketability of environment-friendly agricultural products since economic factors of organic products were the most important factor for maintaining and expanding certification in overseas as well as in Korea. It seems to be necessary to implement economic triggers for certified operators to continue their certification programs by promoting the transition period certification for individual farms in parallel with conventional agriculture. Analysis of the variables correlated with the expansion of environment-friendly agriculture by the logit model implied that certified operators with the younger age and higher annual incomes were more likely to expand environment-friendly agriculture. Therefore, it might also be important to provide financial support and incentives for new entry farmers to participate in environment-friendly agriculture and establish a system to share the know-how of successful certified organic farmers.

This study investigates consumers' purchasing behavior and perception of the low-carbon certificated agricultural product. To this end, we surveyed 1,000 consumers and the main findings are as follows. First, Even after six years of national certification, it is important to promote the low-carbon certification system due to insufficient awareness and purchase experience. Second, the certificated area is small at around 5% of the area of environment-friendly agricultural products and GAP certification, and certification is concentrated on fruit trees. Third, an appropriate level of high-priced strategy can be useful considering the cost of low-carbon certification, image management of low-carbon certificated agricultural products, and quality is the most important factor for consumers to consider when purchasing fresh agricultural products. Fourth, consumers recognized that the contribution of low carbon certification in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preserving the environment was higher than that of environment-friendly agricultural products or GAP certification. Considering that, promotional activities linked to environment-friendly agricultural products and GAP certification may be effective when promoting low-carbon certification. Finally, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs is implementing a carbon point system linked to Green Card to revitalize low carbon certification, but 25.7% of consumers are aware of it, and 8.4% have little experience in issuing it.
The study aims to analyze and evaluate the evaluation items and application methods of environment-friendly middle schools in Chungbuk area by case studies. For the study, the criteria and situations of environment-friendly schools are analyzed literally and three environment-friendly middle schools in Chungbuk area selected. The field surveys and faculty interviews are performed. As results, about 35 environment-friendly technologies are applied and 66 to 68 points are acquired in three selected schools. It is analyzed that the PV, natural interior materials, raining recycle system and sufficient green spaces are pointed out as main technologies. About 66% of respondents know the environment-friendly certification and use the environment facilities in classes. However, the unsuitable plants for interior green spaces, unskilled management of recycling facilities and the absent of student participate programs show up as main problems. Also, the active campaigns need to expand the environment-friendly school.
The purpose of this study is to extract environment-friendly planning elements to apply in Korea by putting together and reclassifying four foreign environment-friendly certification systems related to regeneration spaces - LEED in USA, CASBEE in Japan, BREEAM in England and BEAM in Hong Kong - and analyze and evaluate domestic and foreign spaces which were certified as Environment-friendly spaces in order to offer plan guidelines to raise awareness of the importance of environment-friendly elements in regeneration spaces and to encourage them. The concept and the characteristics of green building were studied through documentary survey. In addition, green certification system of the present domestic new spaces and foreign regeneration spaces was studied and assessment tools for indoor regenerated spaces-related green certification system were developed. With checklists which are developed in this study, level of going green of foreign spaces certified environment-friendly was assessed. Based on the results of this study, conclusions are as follows. As a result of case research of spaces-certified green of Hong-Kong's existing buildings with a developed checklist, application of general assessment part was all alike, but that of detailed assessment part was different. However, Hong Kong showed superiority in lighting energy saving, separate collection of recyclable domestic waste, recycling by-product and management. In addition, Hong Kong applied eco-friendly planning elements maintaining buildings in their condition as possible as it could with management, use of green program, replacement with high efficiency lighting, monitoring system, installation of recycling bins and energy saving by attaching reflective film.
