  • This paper presents a new SOC test compression scheme in Embedded Deterministic Test (EDT) compression environment. Compressed test data is brought over the TAM from the tester to the cores in SOC and decompressed in the cores. The proposed scheme allows cores tested at the same time to share some test channels. By sharing free variables in these channels across test cubes of different cores decompressed at the same time, high encoding efficiency is achieved. Moreover, no excess control data is required in this scheme. The ability to reuse excess free variables eliminates the need for high precision in matching the number of test channels with the number of care bits for every core. Experimental results obtained for some SOC designs illustrate effectiveness of the proposed test application scheme.

  • Natural degradation of grounding-electrode in soil environment should be monitored for several decades to predict the lifetime of the grounding electrode for efficient application and management. However, long-term studies for such electrodes have many practical limitations. The conventional accelerated corrosion test is unsuitable for such studies because simulated soil corrosion process cannot represent the actual soil environment. A preliminary experiment of accelerated corrosion test was conducted using existing test standards. The accelerated corrosion test that reflects the actual soil environment has been developed to evaluate corrosion performances of grounding-electrodes in a short period. Several test conditions with different chamber temperatures and salt spray were used to imitate actual field conditions based on ASTM B162, ASTM B117, and ISO 14993 standards. Accelerated degradation specimens of copper-bonded electrodes were made by the facile method and their corrosion performances were investigated. Their corrosion rates were calculated to $0.042{\mu}m/day$, $0.316{\mu}m/day$, and $0.11{\mu}m/day$, respectively. These results indicate that accelerated deterioration of grounding materials can be determined in a short period by using cyclic test condition with salt spray temperature of $50^{\circ}C$.

  • In this paper, The monitoring system for TV advertisement is implemented using video watermark. The functions of the advertisement monitoring system are monitoring the time, length, and index of the on-air advertisement, saving the log data, and reporting the monitoring result. The performance of the video watermark used in this paper is tested for TV advertisement monitoring. This test includes LAB test and field test. LAB test is done in laboratory environment and field test in actually broadcasting environment. LAB test includes PSNR, distortion measure in image, and the watermark detection rate in the various attack environment such as AD/DA(analog to digital and digital to analog) conversion, noise addition, and MPEG compression. The result of LAB test is good for the TV advertisement monitoring. KOBACO and SBS are participated in the field test. The watermark detection rate is 100% in both the real-time processing and the saved the processing. The average deviation of the watermark detection time is 0.2 second, which is good because the permissible average error is 0.5 second.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the prevalence of canine heartworm infections, canine brucellosis and hematologic values from 153 free roaming dogs in the area of Gwangju city from March to November 2006. Nineteen (12.4%) of 153 samples tested with modified Knott's technique showed positive reaction for microfilariae. Polymerase chain reaction using specific primers for D immitis amplified the expected product from all samples of 19 microfilaremic canine blood samples as determined by the modified Knott's test for microfilariae. The seasonal infection rates of microfilariae were higher in the spring season (10/19, 52.6%) than in the other seasons. The major hematological findings in microfilaremic dogs were mild leukocytosis and mild monocytosis. A total of 100 dogs randomly selected from 153 free roaming dogs were negative for canine brucellosis by serological test using immunochromatographic antibody test kit.

  • This paper presents the development of a keypad test system for the improvement of working environment and productivity using PTC 16F877 microprocessor. In order to detect the fault of keypad products, hardware and software design is performed in this system. Keypad fault detection system is controlled by the 8 bit one chip PIC microcontroller for the exactness and speed. Developed panel of the keypad test system is comprised of the sub-panel for selecting in the inspected keypad types and the main panel f3r displaying the working order and fault position. Furthermore, all data from keypad inspection are stored in main memory of personal computer for the database. All these functions lead to the improvement of working speed and environment.

  • The objectives of this study were : 1) to investigate the socio-demographic and housing characteristics, 2) to evaluate the present conditions of residential environment, 3) and to analysis the differences of residential environmental evaluation according to the characteristics of low-income families. Questionnaire survey method were used in this study. questionnaire were administrated by 264 household of low-income families in Taejon area. Data were analyzed by SPSS PC computer package. The statistics were frequencies, percentage, t-test, F-test and Ducan's multiple range test. The major findings were as follows; low income families evaluated all of their residential environment at lower, especially the worst of all was the comfortable environment outdoor. there were significant differences in evaluation of residential environment according to the housing characteristics of low income families. The results of this study can be used as basic information for housing p;an and policy for low income families in Taejon area.

  • The National Environmental Specimen Bank (NESB) has set up a plan to develop reference materials in the facility for assuring analytical quality and validating analytical methods for its monitoring samples. Some of the crucial characteristics that reference materials must consist of are homogeneity and stability of both intra and inter-bottles. In this study, we examined the homogeneity and stability of cryogenically-milled muscle samples, from Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio) for total mercury. Homogeneity was tested using ANOVA analysis and regression analysis was used to test short-term stability. The variations of total mercury concentration did not significantly differ between the intra and the inter-bottle (F=0.8, p=0.37). Additionally, relative standard deviation of the total mercury concentration showed low values (2.28%). For the short-term stability test, total mercury variations were not statistically significant as demonstrated by the result of the regression analysis (F ratio = 3.11, p = 0.18). This suggests that the cryogenic-milling process has statistically proven the degree of homogeneity and short-term stability for samples of carp muscles in the chemical analysis for total mercury.

  • This paper show two different standardized test methods(Japanese Geotechnical Society; JGS 2003). One test is a "Test Method for Frost Heave Prediction Test, JGS 0171-2003", and the other test is a "Test Method for Frost Susceptibility, JGS 0172-2003". The purpose of this test is to obtain the freezing rate(freezing speed), frost heave ratio(heave to sample height), frost heave rate(heaving speed), and other parameters to be used for frost heave prediction and determine the frost susceptibility by freezing test with water intake. This method shall be used to predict the frost heave in frozen ground and evaluate the frost susceptibility of natural and replacement materials.

  • In the recent New Space era, Nanosatellites are being used to carry out space business and practical missions by private space companies, government agencies and military reconnaissance organizations, away from satellite system education tools. In Korea, the development of nanosatellite satellites, which started with universities at the center, is gradually being attempted by various subjects, including private industries. However, it is not easy to find relevant information to share the experience and prepare for the space environment test, test results, and the various problems that may arise in the process, which can increase the chances of mission success for nanosatellites. In this paper, we expect that the subjects who want to develop the nanosatellite(SNIPE) will be used as useful references for reducing trial and error and increasing the possibility of mission success by organizing the 6U-class space environment test, test process, test results and problems.

  • This paper proposes the environment construction and test method of system integration laboratory (SIL) and system integration test (SIT) for verification of interface between onboard equipment and ground control equipment of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). This research also describes the interface environment between subsystems built in SIL and verification methods for the systems' operation logic through simulated flights. Similarly, the paper handles the ground integration test process of UAS in the real testing environments.
