China has been aware of the urgent need of developing electronic and information industry in order to improve its productivity. Since 1991, IT industry has been one of the main factors to influence China's economic growth. In the results of the efforts to develop its IT industry, China has achieved average 25% yearly growth rate of IT manufacturing industry since 1991. We will take a look at haw the main IT products' performances was, how the role of IT industry was in China economy and in China's trade and how the prospect of China IT industry will be. However, we need to know that, depending an the different areas, the environment of the China's IT industry will be quite different. In China, the east coastal area has the better environment of technology, menpower, infrastructure, and fund for the development of IT industry and the IT industry of this area is very competitive, comparing with the middle and west area.

This paper presents a supply chain framework with the ODM (Original Design Manufacturing)-OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) hybrid production of textile industry in FTA (Free Trade Agreements) environments between Korea and other countries. The proposed supply chain framework with ODM-OEM hybrid production is a unique supply chain that has both domestic production with non-tariff advantages in FTA environment and oversea production with low labor costs. To investigate the validity of the proposed supply chain, we first construct its strategic profit model and supply chain planning and then show that each member of supply chain network-yarn manufacturer, fabric manufacturer, and apparel manufacturer-can maximize their own profits without conflicts among the members. The efficiency of the ODM-OEM hybrid production system is analytically verified in comparison with the general OEM and ODM production model using profit models. Comprehensive numerical examples are provided to illustrate the advantages of the proposed system.

Purpose: Motivated by an expedited growth and distribution of Online Food-Delivery (OFD) services, especially during the recent Covid-19 pandemic, this research aims to explore 1) how consumers' sustainability considerations are associated with satisfaction with the services via opt-out cutlery options and 2) the role of the pandemic in the relationships between sustainability considerations, attitudes toward opt-out cutlery options, and satisfaction with the OFD services. Data and Methodology: An analysis of survey data using 434 consumers in the United States recruited from Amazon M-Turk was conducted using structural equation modeling. Results: Findings suggest that consumers' environmental, health, and ethical considerations are positively related to their attitudes toward opt-out cutlery options. Furthermore, attitudes toward opt-out cutlery options are positively related to satisfaction with the OFD services only when they feel connected with the environment, driven by perceived threats of an infectious disease (i.e. Covid-19). Conclusion: The study findings provide new insights to managers in the OFD service industry on how to promote sustainable consumption during the pandemic.

The climate projection with a high spatial resolution is required for the studies on regional climate changes. The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) has provided downscaled RCP (Representative Concentration Pathway) scenarios over Korea with 1 km spatial resolution. If there are additional climate projections produced by dynamically downscale, the quality of impacts and vulnerability assessments of Korea would be improved with uncertainty information. This technical note intends to instruct the methods to downscale the climate projections dynamically from the Community Earth System Model (CESM) to the Weather Research and Forecast (WRF) model. In particular, here we focus on the instruction to utilize CAM2WRF, a sub-program to link output of CESM to initial and boundary condition of WRF at Linux platform. We also provide the example of the dynamically downscaled results over Korean Peninsula with 50 km spatial resolution for August, 2020. This instruction can be helpful to utilize global scale climate scenarios for studying regional climate change over Korean peninsula with further validation and uncertainty/bias analysis.

This study has examined the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation(EO), dynamic capability(DC) and export performance of international new ventures(INVs). Also, the moderating effect of external environment factors(the hostility at domestic markets and the industrial dynamics) were analysed. Empirical analysis was performed on 101 INVs. It was conducted using the PLS(Partial Least Square). The result of empirical analysis showed that there is a positive relationship between EO, DC and export performance. The result of moderating effect showed that two external environment factors have positive moderating effect on the relationship between EO and DC. However, there was not moderating effect of external environment factors on the relationship between DC and export performance.

This study examines greenhouse gas reduction potentials in cement manufacturing industry of Korea. An energy system model in the MARKAL (MARKet ALlocation) modeling framework was used in order to identify appropriate energy technologies and to quantify their possible implications In terms of greenhouse gas reduction. The model is characterized as mathematical tool for the long term energy system analysis provides an useful informations on technical assessment. Four scenarios are developed that covers the ti me span from 2000 to 2020. Being technology as a fundamental driving factor of the evolution of energy systems, it is essential to study the basic mechanisms of technological change and its role in developing more efficient, productive and clean energy systems. For this reasons, the learning curves on technologies for greenhouse gas reduction is specially considered. The analysis in this study shows that it is not easy to mitigate greenhouse gas with low cost in cement manufacturing industry under the current cap and trade method of Kyoto protocol.

After September 11, 2001, the United State's Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has set up inspection stations in seaport terminals. The inspection station, however, may directly and indirectly affect delay time in the seaports, increasing by especially high and severe level of security. This paper studies for a methodology to analyze container delays versus security incurring by the various layouts of the inspection station in the United States.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the emission reduction characteristics depending on the formation of the catalyst which influences the development of the diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) suitable for small-sized diesel engines. We also attempted to suggest the feasibility of it as an after-treatment device. The reduction efficiency of DOC for CO and HC was proportional to the contents of precious metals, and the particulate matter (PM) has been reduced as much as 53∼59%. The reduction rate of soluble organic fraction (SOF) by DOC attachment revealed 100%. The composition of sulfate in PM increased from 3%, 7∼11% by installation of DOC. It is described that increase of sulfate contributed to the production of PM. This result also showed that the SOF and sulfate have trade-off relationship.

In this paper, we propose a method to design a generalized sinusoidal frequency modulated(GSFM) pulse that is robust to reverberation environment. GSFM pulses are a generalized form of SFM(Sinusoidal frequency modulated) pulses, which have the advantage of having a thumbtack ambiguity function with excellent range and Doppler resolution. However, the periodicity disappears during the generalization process, therefore, the detection performance is reduced in reverberation environment compared to SFM pulse with comb spectrum. In this paper, the trade-off relationship between the reverberation suppression performance of the SFM pulse and the range resolution performance of the GSFM pulse is analyzed by appropriately changing the parameter ${\rho}$ of the GSFM pulse. In order to verify the performance of the proposed GSFM pulse, the simulation was performed and it was confirmed that the proposed GSFM pulse has excellent distance resolution while detecting the slow Doppler target.

The trends of competition on Hub port is looking forward much more severe year after year to preoccupy in logistics competitive within this Area. On the other hand, considering competitive environment & swelling of Chinese Economic scale, the structural reforms are imperative in korea. Korea have to convert the traditional sects into new high added value sects. In these trends, provincial government also should look for the plan for reinforcement of Regional competitiveness. The focus of this study is to look for the reinforcement methods on regional competitiveness of Gyeongnam Provincial Government. First, competitive industries in Gyeongnam, and second, Masan Free Trade Zone will be surveyed from data. Finally, the effects of New Hub port developing in Pusan-Jinhae will be discussed.
