Identifying the factors that influence the formation of the entrepreneurial intention is important in cultivating entrepreneurs and inducing entrepreneurial innovation in the country. Previous studies have mainly examined the direct effects of social cognition attributes as predictors on entrepreneurial intentions or entrepreneurial activities. However, the fundamental factors that these social cognition attributes are derived from have not been sufficiently addressed in the field of entrepreneurship. Based on social cognitive theory and schema theory, this study assumes that an individual's entrepreneurial experience is an important antecedent factor in forming social cognitive attributes, and reveals the mechanism for how experience forms entrepreneurial intention. To this end, this study analyzes the influence of entrepreneurs' prior experience of entrepreneurial activities on entrepreneurial self-efficacy, opportunity recognition, and fear of failure which are considered to be the main variables that shape entrepreneurial intention. And it analyzes how these factors have a significant effect on entrepreneurship intention. Along with this, the mediating role of these social cognitive attributes is analyzed in order to understand the path that leads from entrepreneurial experience to entrepreneurial intention. This study also suggests how gender moderates the effect of entrepreneurship experience on social cognitive attributes. As a result of the analysis, it was found that entrepreneurial experience increase entrepreneurial self-efficacy and opportunity recognition of entrepreneurs, and decrease the fear of failure. These social perception attribute significantly mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial experience and entrepreneurial intention. This study also found that there are significant moderating effects of gender on the relationship of entrepreneurial experience and both of entrepreneurial self-efficacy and fear of failure. This study also analyzed the impact of the entrepreneurial experience of failure, which corresponds to the detailed experience. Similar to the results of entrepreneurial experience analysis, entrepreneurial experience of failure plays a role in enhancing entrepreneurial self-efficacy. However, its effect on opportunity recognition and fear of failure were not significant. An empirical analysis of data related to 25,047 entrepreneurs from 87 countries, using the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), shows the differences in the formation of individuals' entrepreneurial intentions according to entrepreneurial experience and the mediating role of social cognitive attributes. The study has embodied the social cognitive theory on entrepreneurial intention by shedding light on the variables that are important but alienated for increasing entrepreneurial intention. Moreover, the study enhances the understanding of cognitive processes leading from individual experiences to entrepreneurial intentions. This study also emphasizes the importance of differentiated approach by gender for boosting entrepreneurial intention through analysis of moderating effect of gender.
In the last decades, technology-oriented small firms, i.e. venture businesses, have been increasingly engaged in R&D collaborations with external parties as strategic means for technological innovation. Despite ample evidence on the benefit of such collaborations for the firms, there has been less attention to examining whether and how the firms' social interactions with cooperating partners and their managerial characteristics contribute to that benefit. Drawing on the theories of social capital and entrepreneurial orientation, this study is to remedy this gap. The theory of social capital, referring to a sum of the value and potential resources embedded in social relationships of collectives, provides an integrated view of social factors among cooperating partners, e.g. strong ties, network stability, trust, reciprocity, shared vision and value. It categorizes these factors into structural, relational, and cognitive dimensions of social capital. Entrepreneurial orientation theory captures firms' managerial characteristics as a combination of innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking. This addresses firms' managerial process to utilize and combine internal and external resources for wealth creation and opportunity realization. Against this background, this study investigates what roles social capital among cooperating R&D partners and entrepreneurial orientation of the collaborating firms play for collective performance improvement in R&D collaborations. In terms of the collective performance, this study adopts two indicators: technological competitiveness and business performance. Technological competitiveness refers to the contribution of a technology developed by a cooperative R&D project to competitive advantage of a firm while business performance is defined as the financial and economic outcome of a collaboration. Using a sample of 218 Korean ventures engaging in R&D collaboration with external parties, the author finds the significant effects of social capital (i.e. structural, relational, and cognitive dimensions) and entrepreneurial orientation (i.e. innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking) on both of the technological competitiveness and the business performance. Further, the higher the social capital among R&D partners, the more likely it is to foster the entrepreneurial orientation at firm-level. Most importantly, the entrepreneurial orientation at firm-level is an significant mediator of the relationship between social capital and collective performance. Beyond these novel empirical findings, this study contributes to the literature on R&D collaboration. The findings' implications for management and policy are deeply discussed in the conclusion.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence relationships among individual career orientation, preparation of old age, social networks, and the entrepreneurial intention of the potential entrepreneurs. 408 numbers of structured questionnaire were collected from the potential entrepreneurs who live in Seoul through the online Google survey method and offline face to face method. And the collected data was analyzed on frequency analysis, validity analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and regression analysis etc. using the SPSS WIN 21.0 program. The results are as follows. Firstly, innovation, entrepreneurial creativity, and autonomy orientation affect on entrepreneurial intention positively(+), but security orientation has a negative(-) effect on entrepreneurial intention in the influence relationships between individual career orientation and entrepreneurial intention. Secondly, economical and emotional preparation have positive(+) influences on entrepreneurial intention in the influence relationships between individual career orientation and entrepreneurial intention. Thirdly, the sub-variables of social networks, that is, assist and role models exert a positive(+) influence on entrepreneurial intention in the influence relationships between social networks and entrepreneurial intention. Fourthly, social networks plays a moderating role only on the relationship between security orientation and entrepreneurial intention in the analysis about the moderating effects of social networks on the influence relationships among individual career orientation, preparation of old age, and entrepreneurial intention. Fifth, a social network of relationships to help prepare the old establishment has been found to help regulate effective analysis of whether or not the results of adjustment.

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to analyze the start-up factors in start-up tourism companies and to analyze how these factors influence business performance. This study will be conducted for the further exploratory study with in-depth research with literature reviews, interviews and surveys. Research design, data, and Methodology - The activation of entrepreneurship is very important factor as for not only the development of entrepreneurship which is the characteristic of the innovative and risks-taking for the success of the enterprise, but also the sustainable growth and creation of performance of the entrepreneur. In other words, if it is the entrepreneurial spirit affects entrepreneurship, it is entrepreneurial orientation that continuously affects entrepreneurs. In order to achieve the above purposes, this study conducted literature research and empirical studies. Result & Conclusions - The sub-factors for independent entrepreneurial variables' orientation are classified as creativity, technological, enterprising, and innovation, and subordinate variables were set of management performance. The sub-factors of the control variable government support policy are classified as financial support, consulting support, and marketing support. For the purpose of empirical analysis, this paper collects data on companies selected for tourism venture business competition and CEOs of SMEs tourism for less than 7 years.
As the non-face-to-face economy is activated by digital innovation, the boundaries of the industry are blurred and new start-up opportunities are occurring due to convergence between industries. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the relationship between the founders' digital competence and innovation as an antecedents that affect the substanability of start-up companies. According to the analysis results, the digital competence of the founder has a significant positive (+) effect on the innovation of the founder, and the innovation of the founder has a significant positive (+) effect on the substanability of the entrepreneur. In addition, the innovation of founders has been verified to mediate the relationship between them, and this study is meaningful in that it examines the preceding factors affecting the substanability of start-up companies.
Entrepreneurs recognize that their passion was an important factor in driving successful entrepreneurship. However, they were often unaware of the impact that third-party passions related to startups have on them. Therefore, in this study, it was verified whether the accelerator incubation program had an effective effect on portfolios. At this time, I tried to do an empirical analysis focusing on how the third-party accelerator entrepreneur passion affects the entrepreneurial performance of portfolios. To this end, a survey was conducted on representatives of portfolios across the country who completed the accelerator incubation program, and empirical testing was conducted based on 330 valid ones. As a result of empirical analysis, it was confirmed that mentoring and networking among accelerator incubation programs had a positive (+) effect on entrepreneurial performance of portfolios. On the other hand, education and seed investment in the accelerator program did not significantly affect the entrepreneurial performance of portfolios. On the other hand, it was tested that accelerator entrepreneur passion significantly moderated both the incubation program elements (education, mentoring, network, seed investment) and the entrepreneurial performance of portfolios. The results of this study are meaningful in that they reveal that the passion of accelerator entrepreneurs is an important lynchpin of incubation programs and the key to success in startups. In addition, this study suggests that it is important for startups to go one step further from seed investment and properly identify the accelerator entrepreneur and his passion, the key man of accelerators.

Recently, in OECD countries, youth unemployment has become one of the most serious problems in society. Entrepreneurship creates innovative new companies that create more jobs than big traditional companies. In addition, entrepreneurship develops creative human resources leading to fertile ground for new technology and business innovation. Recently, regulatory theory has drawn a lot of attention and interest in the literature of psychology and marketing management. However, the theory has not been applied to the study of entrepreneurship. In this article, we try to examine the relationship among regulatory focus, entrepreneurial orientation, and entrepreneurial intentions of korean college students who show their interests in entrepreneurship. From our empirical study, we find the followings. First, promotion focus thriving on optimism, taking risks, and trying new actively affect positively on entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial intention. Second, prevention focus concentrating on security, fulfilling responsibilities and maintaining efficiency does not always affect negatively on entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial intention. In other words, prevention-focused students do not always have bad impression on entrepreneurship and may consider entrepreneurship as viable career path similar to average college students. Third, our empirical findings are consistent with previous studies that entrepreneurial intention is positively affected by entrepreneurial orientation.
Understanding key factors that affect entrepreneurial intention of university students is important to establish effective pedagogy for educating potential entrepreneurs. This cross-cultural study examines the direct effects of entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention of university students, and further examined how self-efficacy interacts with an entrepreneurship education in promoting entrepreneurial intention of Korean and Chinese university students. Empirical findings of this study suggest that entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy affect significantly entrepreneurial intention of university students in both countries. The proposed moderation effect of self-efficacy was supported for Korea but not China. The implications of the study were discussed and presented in terms of theoretical and practical aspects.
The start-up program of service company is able to give the positive effect to the job creation and growth but actually the rate of success for start-up program in service industry low and thus the effective support program is required. Recently, it is required that entrepreneurial spirit for success of start-up program in service industry. We examined entrepreneurial spirit between participation motivation in service industry. The results are as follows. As a result of survey for education program participant, it was found that 4 causes of Entrepreneurial Spirit such as innovation thought, market-oriented thought and art-oriented thought, management thought are all significant and especially, the effect of management thought showed somewhat high level in entrepreneurial spirit. Hereafter, this study may help to guide the motivation of preliminary entrepreneurs as food & beverage, restaurant business, retailer, other service industry.
Knowledge plays a more important role in promoting entrepreneurship in the current information-led society than it did during the age of industrialization. Many recent studies found that entrepreneurship stimulates and generates innovation and economic growth. In response to the issues of long-term low growth, the Japanese government implemented several policies to encourage universities initiate entrepreneurial activities. This paper examines Japanese policies since 2014 that support universities in providing various programs for developing global entrepreneurs. Thirteen academic institutes were beneficiaries of three-year funding since the fiscal year of 2014. Each university designed its own educational programs according to their own contexts, built various forms of innovation ecosystems with domestic as well as international partner organizations, and offered entrepreneurship training courses or innovation workshops for companies to sustain its programs through broadening their funding bases. Due to the interdisciplinary nature and short history in operating the programs so far, it is difficult to evaluate the effectiveness of the programs. However, each participating university accumulated knowledge and experience while carrying out their various programs, suggesting important new directions for policymakers and education program designers in facilitating entrepreneurship and innovation.
