Work engagement and job burnout are crucial problems in Korea, particularly in the business environment, and they also indicate people's motivation. Online-based teams in e-business also have these issues. Especially the role of the leader in this new type of teams is more crucial for members' motivation, behavior, and performance. Contingency leadership theories posit that different situations need different traits or behaviors of a leader. For an online-based team, which is internet-based team in e-business, a leader should use specific communication strategies to enhance a team's performance and members' motivation. In an online-based team and an offline-based team, the ways in which leaders motivate members will be different. This paper suggests particular communicative strategies for leaders of online situations. Online-based team members communicate using mobile phones or IT tools, and leaders mayinfluences members in virtual meetings. Moreover, online-based leadership needs to be more entrepreneurial and risk encouraging, and less conservative than offline-based leadership. In addition, online-based leadership should be energetic, decisive, adaptable, and inspiring, and furtherutilize communication tools such as being more gregarious/talkative, assertiveness, linguistic diversity and affect. This paper explains the roles of communicative elements such as coordination, expression, direction-giving/uncertainty reduction, empathy, meaning-making, satisfaction, and competence to decrease job burnout and to increase work engagement. The purpose of this study is to suggest communication strategies' differentiated influences on work engagement and job burnout in an online-based team.

Entrepreneurship is recognized as an essential education in start-up education. However, domestic studies on entrepreneurship in developing countries are extremely rare. The purpose of this study is to compare the importance of entrepreneurship and the perception of implementation of Korean and Nepalese farmers, and to seek a start-up education strategy based on the results. As a result of the study, first, there was no difference in the importance of entrepreneurship in the 6th industry between two countries, but the degree of entrepreneurial spirit performance was high in Nepalese farmers. Second, in terms of the difference between the importance and execution of the 6th industry entrepreneurship, Korea had lower performance than importance in all factors, and Nepal had higher importance than implementation in innovation, initiative, cooperation, and networking capability. Third, in the difference between the importance and the degree of implementation in each country, the level of implementation was uniformly lower than that of importance in Korea, but the height of the Nepalese farmers was not uniform. The results of this study, which studied entrepreneurship in Korea and Nepal, contribute greatly in terms of promoting the national economy by creating new added values.

In this study, we analyzed the effect of entrepreneurial spirit of the start-up real estate founder gives to management achievements, founding education and it was confirmed whether they have a regulatory effect between them. For this reason, we conducted a questionnaire survey of real estate founder of start-up, were analyzed using the SPSS 18.ok. To summarize the research results are as follows. First of all, prefer achieve desire and venture start-up founder, it has become a direction of a significant and positive and management achievements of the dependent variable (+). This can be seen to affect the establishment go management achievements prefer to achieve desire is higher or of the venture. Second, the satisfaction of the business with the contents of the management achievements, may be mentioned whether the business recommendation, factors of these management achievements, each of the major contents of the management outcomes can be seen as an impact to some extent. While factors of independent variables were clearly private that there is a difference on the basis of its founding education as an adjustment variable in relation to the impact on business performance, some the only adjustment variables, such as whether to recommend satisfaction and business of business it was confirmed that shown. In this study, which provide us with the knowledge of information that can be derived to provide the basic information of implementation and policy-making that it is possible to promote the success activation of the start-up real estate in the successful establishment and operation of the business It is expected.

This study aims to assess the training effect of QFD(Quality Functional Deployment) program for 3 years over startups, adopted from the conventional QFD widely used in the large companies to break up to a sluggish sales and growth, for employees working in startup whether the participants in startup and venture company taking this lessons into their real tasks or not. In particular, the focus of this study falls on figuring out whether individual characteristics of the participants play a role in moderating effect over transfer intension factors and its link path structure. The research results drive out two significant findings. First, in terms of relationship between the influence of transfer intension by self-efficacy and the validity of training content with the learner's readiness, the moderating effect of demographic features of the participants is effective partially by the sex and fully by their working position, but not statistically significant by age, education, and the prior startup career. This research deliver the following significant implication that the active participation of CEO level, decision-maker guarantee the higher performance of the training program like QFD program, more stresses falling on practical implementation in real business rather than just ending up with career training. This study gives significant policy implication to quasi-government organization running all public startup training projects.

In a rapidly changing environment, such as globalization, technology-based startups are attracting attention as a new growth engine that creates jobs and added value and promotes national competitiveness. At present, countries around the world recognize the development of technology-based start-up companies as a major policy task and strive to make policy efforts to revitalize start-ups and strengthen innovation capabilities of companies. Especially, in order to secure superiority in the fierce market competition, it is becoming more and more important for the growth and development of technological start-up companies that pioneer new markets and energize the economy based on original and innovative technologies. Therefore, it is necessary to study systematically and plan for survival and growth of technology start-up companies. The purpose of this study is to investigate the entrepreneurial spirit of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Risk Sensibility and Technology Innovation Capacity, R&D ability, Technology Accumulation Capacity, Technology Innovation System, The results of this study are as follows. the effects of marketing ability on technical performance and financial performance are examined. First, the CEO 's entrepreneurial spirit has an effect on the technical performance and financial performance of the management performance. Second, the technology accumulation ability and the R & D capability have a positive effect on the technical performance. Finally, it was found that the ability to commercialize the technology commercialization capacity affects both technical performance and financial performance. The policy implications that can be gained through this are as follows. First, by strengthening cooperation between universities and research institutes, related technology entrepreneurship education programs should be upgraded so that technology entrepreneurs or preliminary entrepreneurs can capture business opportunities and secure market price competitiveness. Secondly, R & D for the purpose of start-up should be developed and marketable technology should be developed and linked to direct start-up. Third, it is necessary to activate the program to match the company with the honorary retirement manpower of large enterprises and SMEs, which have more experience in field experience than the founders.

As a result of significant investments by the government in promoting public technology commercialization and fostering a venture startup ecosystem, there have been quantitative achievements, such as the registration of over 1,600 Innopolis Start-ups since 2006, generating a total revenue of 1.1 trillion won as of 2021. However, these achievements have been overshadowed by critical qualitative challenges, including a continuous decline in average revenue per Innopolis Start-up. This led to a focus on whether managers' technological and market orientations affect business performance. This study aims to provide insights into improving the qualitative growth of Innopolis Start-ups by analyzing the effects of technological and market orientations on business performance, as well as the moderating effects of adjusting marketing and research and development (R&D) costs on this relationship. Through prior research and empirical analysis, this study derives three main findings. First, technological excellence and innovation significantly influence the business performance of Innopolis Start-ups, while technological intensity does not. Second, customer orientation and competitive orientation significantly impact business performance, whereas entry barriers as a single factor do not. Third, adjusting marketing and R&D costs, as controlled variables obtained through general situations, has no direct impact on other variables. However, it interacts with entry barriers, influencing financial business performance, with R&D costs exhibiting a negative buffering effect and marketing costs showing a positive enhancing effect. This study confirms that both technological and market orientations directly influence the business performance of Innopolis Start-ups, thus being crucial factors affecting their growth. Moreover, it establishes that investments in marketing and R&D play significant roles in alleviating initial entry barriers and enhancing financial performance. Consequently, it underscores the importance of reinforcing technological and market orientations tailored to the characteristics of Innopolis Start-ups. Additionally, it proposes five theoretical contributions: strengthening institutional support systems for technology commercialization and innovation, improving qualitative evaluation criteria during the selection process of Innopolis Start-ups, conducting comprehensive analyses of technological and market aspects during startup selection, enhancing support for marketing education and consulting for smooth market entry, and supporting expenditure strategies and milestone setting tailored to the industrial characteristics of individual Innopolis Start-ups.
In this study, the performance of the technological innovation of small and medium enterprises is divided into short-term aspects of technological innovation and long-term aspects of ambidextrous innovation, and the effects of dynamic capabilities affecting these achievements are explored. For the purpose of conducting empirical analysis, the survey conducted a survey of 219 small businesses belonging to various industries, and dynamic capabilities performed a parallel multi-parameter analysis to demonstrate the effectiveness of technological innovation performance, including exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation. Through this study, it aims to understand the dynamic capabilities of the small and midsize enterprises and provide suggestions on how to manage of the company, thereby improving the understanding of dynamic capabilities and helping to improve the management of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The focus of this paper falls on assessing how well rule of crafting government R&D institution spin-off companies(GRSCs), legitimatized to boost up technology commercialization of government research institutions(GRIs) at Daedeok Innopolis in 2006, affect the better business performance of GRSCs, but also delivering alternatives of driving up their better business. First of all, this paper evaluate a management performance of GRSCs at the financial aspect by taking 5 different GRSCs cases among 16 to measure the overall performance of GRSCS's Technology commercialization. Second, this paper assess the effectiveness of GRSCs to bring the better performance of technology commercialization. Third, this paper suggest soft program-centered technology commercialization model, rather institution and ceremonial-oriented one, for GRIs. Overall, the outcomes of this paper will contribute to accommodate the rule of GRSCs attaining goals set in the initial policy domain.

As the need for entrepreneurship to create new values and innovate in the rapidly changing social environment is emerging, education for entrepreneurial is emerging in university education. The purpose of this study is to understand the current status of entrepreneurship education and to derive the priority of education based on actual indicators of importance-performance. For this study, we surveyed 227 female college students in E Woman's University by using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method for entrepreneurship factors. The result showed that the means of importance of all factors and sub-factors of entrepreneurship were higher than the means of performance of them, and the difference was statistically significant except for the determination. In addition, the results of the IPA matrix analysis showed that the factors that needed urgent improvement in self-confidence, future-orientation, active/innovative activities, and proactivity. Based on the results of this study, the implications of the development of entrepreneurship curriculum for college students in engineering field were discussed. This study is meaningful that it provided practical basic information of curriculum design leading to the manifestation of entrepreneurship of women in engineering field by analyzing entrepreneurship of female engineering students and deriving priority factors of educational treatment.

The COVID-19 pandemic not only posed an enormous human crisis, but also had a profound impact on firms' survival. Social distancing and global lockdown measures designed to protect human lives have paradoxically impaired the business environment. As a result, firms that sought to gain competitive advantage by leveraging external resources were cut off from the external world and faced unexpected challenges. Under these circumstances, researches were conducted in the early stage of the pandemic to explore how certain firms survived while others fell, but they were limited to re-examining business performance using traditional financial factors. However, this study aims to investigate the role of entrepreneurs' competency in crisis situations from the Resource-Based View (RBV), as such competency plays an important role in improving business performance and subsequently the probability of startups' survival. Specifically, we evaluated the performance as of end of 2019 of 1,127 startups evaluated by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC), which provides policy financing based on technology assessment, in 2016. We then conducted an empirical study to determine the mediating role of business performance in the relationship between entrepreneurial competencies and firm survival by verifying how many of the sample firms were still in operation at the end of June 2023, when the Korean government declared COVID-19 as an endemic. For this purpose, we defined technological, financial, and marketing competencies as the sub-factors of entrepreneurial competency, and sales growth rate and employment growth rate as the sub-factors of business performance. The results of the empirical analysis showed that technological and financial competencies of the entrepreneur had a positive impact on both business performance and firm survival, and that sales growth rate and employment growth rate mediated the relationship between technological competence and firm survival. However, the positive influence of entrepreneurs' financial competence of the survival of startups was only evident through the growth of employment. This study is the first study in South Korea to define the survival factors of startups in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and is expected to contribute to the theoretical and practical discussions on the importance of entrepreneurs' competency as a firms' survival factor based on RVB.
