In these days companies are rapidly implementing the extended enterprise collaboration to provide enhanced management services and products based on the enterprise integration that human resources, technologies and the management process. In this corporate environment, ASP (Application Service Provider) which is the developed type of outsourcing in the area of information technology, is a good alternative for corporate information system management. ASP defines as a software leasing service which is supplied through networks instead of purchasing application software with high price. For successful implementation of ASP, it is necessary to develop the certification methodology to ensure safety and reliability of ASP. The paper provides the safe and reliable certification methodology for ASP. In order to develop it, the critical issues related to service quality and certification of ASP are identified and the systematic certification methodology of application and service provider(service environment) domains of ASP are provided. A evaluation method for the developed certification methodology is also proposed.

웹 환경의 확산과 기업의 인수합병 등으로 기업 내 응용 시스템들을 연결하는 작업의 중요성이 날로 커지고 있다. 이에 따라 EAI(Enterprise Application Integration)은 현재 기업 정보시스템 전략의 새로이 부각되고 있는 이슈로 아직 국내에서는 이에 대한 실질적인 연구나 도입이 미미한 형편이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 나타나고 있는 각종 EAI 접근법들을 분석하여 이들의 특정을 살펴보고 EAI에 대한 체계적 연구를 위한 EAI의 분류 체계를 제시하는데 목적이 있다.

기업 활동에 있어서 기존의 시스템을 통합하는 기술을 Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)라 한다. EAI는 하나의 조직체 내에서 비즈니스의 효과를 최적화할 수 있도록 정보 자원을 최대한 활용하여 상호 연계하는 기술이다. EAI는 기업의 비용절감에 효과가 있음이 입증되었고 점차 그 시장이 커지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 시스템 통합을 위한 기술을 고찰하고 EAI 구축을 위한 기술적인 요소를 살펴본 후 실제 기업체 구축 사례를 통하여 그 효율성을 보이고자 한다.

In this thesis, We analyzed success enterprise case which is well worked by knowledge and is gained effect results. We searched key factor for success knowledge management and found problem which is able to happen when is introduced by success enterprise in knowledge management. Due to the emersion of J2EE(Java 2, Enterprise Edition), many enterprises inside and outside of the country have been developing the enterprise applications appropriate to the J2EE model. With the help of the component model of Enterprise Java Beans(EJH) which is the J2EE core technology, we can develop the distributed object applications quite simple. EJB application can be implemented by using the component-oriented object transaction middleware and the most applications utilize the distributed transaction. EJB developers can concentrate on the business logic because the EJB server covers the middleware service. Due to these characteristics, EJB technology became popular and then the study for EJB based application has been done quite actively However, the research of metrics for measuring the performance during run-time of the EJB applications has not been done enough. Tn this paper, we explore the workflow for the EJB application service on the run-time and classify the internal operation into several elements. We propose the metrics for evaluating the performance up to the bean level by using the classified elements. First, we analyze the lifecycle according to the bean types which comes from the EJB application on the run-time as to extract each factor used in performance measurement. We also find factors related to a performance and allocate the Performance factors to the metrics as the bean types. We also consider the characteristics like the bean's activation and message passing which happens during bean message call and then analyze the relations of the beans participating in the workflow of the application to make the workflow performance measurement possible. And we devise means to bring performance enhancement of the EJB application using the propose.

In this article we review the metaphor of service-oriented architecture for enterprise computing. In typical definitions service-oriented architecture appears as a single message and a consistent roadmap for building flexible software system landscapes. But it is not. Different communities have elaborated different SOA (service-oriented architecture) concepts to address different problem areas, i.e., enterprise application integration, business-to-business, business process management, and software productizing. If software architects and software managers are aware of these strands of SOA when talking about SOA in their projects they can avoid misunderstandings and detours better. This article contributes a clarification of the different strands of SOA concepts and technologies and their mutual dependencies and identifies particular SOA concepts as instances of more general software engineering principles.

In this paper, we design and implement ERP application service as an alternative proposal of an ERP system for medium and small enterprises. Unlike most of previous works that show only the implementation of their ERP application, this approach provides the design model of an suitable environments for medium and small enterprises.

Service identification and composition is one of the key characteristics for a successful Service-Oriented Computing, being receiving a lot of attention from researchers in recent years. In the Service-Oriented Analysis, the identification of business services has to be preceded before application services are identified. Most approaches addressing the derivation of business services are based on heuristic methods and human experts. The manual identification of business services is highly expensive and ambiguous task, and it may result in the service design with bad quality because of errors and misconception. Although a few of approaches of automatic service identification are proposed, most of them are in focus on technical architectures and application services. In this paper, we propose a model on the automatic identification of business services by horizontal and vertical service alignment using Enterprise Architecture as an ontology. We verify the effectiveness of the proposed model of business services identification through a case study based on Department of Defense Enterprise Architecture.

This paper aims to propose the strategy making in social enterprise for ensuring organizational sustainability and governance of social enterprise from systems thinking's perspective. Based on previous reviews on organizational sustainability and theories of governance currently advocated in the social enterprise literature, we use 'Holon Dynamics' approach, which is a synthesis of System Dynamics and Soft Systems Methodology (SSM), offers the problem-solving method for dealing with social contexts and "ill-defined" situations. To do so, a researcher carried out the interpretive action research using 'Holon Dynamics' approach from September, 2009 to August, 2010. The outcomes of research are summarized as follows. Firstly, systems methodologies are useful to offer a strategic choice that makes to achieve an organizational sustainability in the case of Korean social enterprise; 'the Rediscovery of Korea'. Secondly, systems thinking offers an alternative concept of system, which is known as an 'appreciative system' that is evolved from the mental constructs amongst participants in given situations. Lastly, the paper delineates the usefulness of systems thinking and the process of inquiry, which deal with social contexts (including cultural and political factors), are contributed to making the necessary conditions for organizational legitimacy and the appropriate strategic choice for social enterprise within combined functioning of the two roles of social and commercial activities from systemic perspectives.

The Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) has been used for a long time in campus and enterprise networks as the most popular network virtualization solution. Due to the benefits and advantages achieved by using VLAN, network operators and administrators have been using it for constructing their networks up until now and have even extended it to manage the networking in a cloud computing system. However, their configuration is a complex, tedious, time-consuming, and error-prone process. Since Software Defined Networking (SDN) features the centralized network management and network programmability, it is a promising solution for handling the aforementioned challenges in VLAN management. In this paper, we first introduce a new architecture for campus and enterprise networks by leveraging SDN and OpenFlow. Next, we have designed and implemented an application for easily managing and flexibly troubleshooting the VLANs in this architecture. This application supports both static VLAN and dynamic VLAN configurations. In addition, we discuss the hybrid-mode operation where the packet processing is involved by both the OpenFlow control plane and the traditional control plane. By deploying a real test-bed prototype, we illustrate how our system works and then evaluate the network latency in dynamic VLAN operation.
