비즈니스 문서의 생산성 향상을 위한 RPA(Robotics Process Automation)적용방안에 대한 연구 (A Study On The Application of RPA(Robotics Process Automation) For Productivity Of Business Documents)

  • 디지털화(Digitalization)가 우리의 비즈니스 환경에 다양한 변화와 혁신을 일으키고 있다. 제조업에서는 오래전부터 자동화를 위해 로봇을 활용하여 처리속도 및 품질에 혁신을 이루었다. RPA는 이러한 제조현장의 혁신을 사무공간으로 가져온 것이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 사무공간에서 단순 반복적으로 이루어지는 업무에 대해 생산성을 향상시키는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 이러한 생산성 향상과 관련하여, 비즈니스 자동화(Business Automation)에 대한 개념을 살펴본 후, 비즈니스 문서 작업과 관련하여 자동화의 가능성을 확인하기 위해 5가지 업무영역을 대상으로 애자일 방법론을 활용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 결론적으로, 품질점검 관련 97.3%, 편집 디자인 관련 31.7%의 생산성 향상이 가능함을 확인하였으며, 실제 업무에 적용하기 위한 방향성에 대해서도 살펴보았다. 향후 연구에서는 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 IPA(Intelligent Process Automation)의 적용방안에 대해 진행하고자 한다.

How to automatically extract 2D deliverables from BIM?

  • Although the construction industry is changing from a 2D-based to a 3D BIM-based management process, 2D drawings are still used as standards for permits and construction. For this reason, 2D deliverables extracted from 3D BIM are one of the essential achievements of BIM projects. However, due to technical and institutional problems that exist in practice, the process of extracting 2D deliverables from BIM requires additional work beyond generating 3D BIM models. In addition, the consistency of data between 3D BIM models and 2D deliverables is low, which is a major factor hindering work productivity in practice. To solve this problem, it is necessary to build BIM data that meets information requirements (IRs) for extracting 2D deliverables to minimize the amount of work of users and maximize the utilization of BIM data. However, despite this, the additional work that occurs in the BIM process for drawing creation is still a burden on BIM users. To solve this problem, the purpose of this study is to increase the productivity of the BIM process by automating the process of extracting 2D deliverables from BIM and securing data consistency between the BIM model and 2D deliverables. For this, an expert interview was conducted, and the requirements for automation of the process of extracting 2D deliverables from BIM were analyzed. Based on the requirements, the types of drawings and drawing expression elements that require automation of drawing generation in the design development stage were derived. Finally, the method for developing automation technology targeting elements that require automation was classified and analyzed, and the process for automatically extracting BIM-based 2D deliverables through templates and rule-based automation modules were derived. At this time, the automation module was developed as an add-on to Revit software, a representative BIM authoring tool, and 120 rule-based automation rulesets, and the combinations of these rulesets were used to automatically generate 2D deliverables from BIM. Through this, it was possible to automatically create about 80% of drawing expression elements, and it was possible to simplify the user's work process compared to the existing work. Through the automation process proposed in this study, it is expected that the productivity of extracting 2D deliverables from BIM will increase, thereby increasing the practical value of BIM utilization.

  • 프레스 금형의 가공 및 제작 공정의 자동화란 불필요한 반복 작업을 피하여 시간을 절약하고 표준 품질의 가공물을 얻고자 하는 것이다. 자동화의 범위는 3차원 금형설계, 머시닝 센터, 와이어 컷 방전가공, 도면작업까지를 포함하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 컨트롤박스제어 센서에 사용되는 Irp브라켓으로 3차원 금형설계 후에 동일한 환경에서 프레스 금형의 가공 및 제작 공정 자동화에 대하여 연구하고자 하였다.

GUI를 이용한 슬라이싱 머신의 자동화 알고리즘 개발 (A Development of the Algorithms for Automation of Slicing Machine with GUI Interface)

  • In this study, PC-based slicing machine and driving software were constructed for the purpose of automation of semi-conductor cutting process. The biggest feature of software is variation of parameter and include data base, signal monitoring, error report, corresponding action or automatic motion planing. Parameters were drawn and algorithms were developed to make software by GUI interface. The cutting experiment was done for sampled wafer to see the effectiveness of the soft automation. From the experimented and implemented results, it is shown that parameters for automation of slicing process could be drawn, then its algorithms constructed. It could be considered what is the merit of this slicing machine by comparing the PC-based and the NC-based.

  • Recently, the building construction industry has been forced to cope with lack of skilled labor. A robot-based construction automation system should help overcome crucial troubles which may be caused by this phenomenon. In particular, it is vital to propose design for automation (DFA). Quality function deployment (QFD) is applied a systematic aid in determining the design reflecting customer's needs. This study employs the QFD approach to plan the component designs of an effective automation process, and presents the development process of DFA with an illustrative project. As a result, the study identifies the developers' design requirements for automated construction and weights them by their importance indices.

  • In this study, a design process of robotic cell is presented. This paper focuses only on the automation of workpiece handling with robot. The presented design process enables us to analyze effectiv ely the original production system and to redesign it as an optimum production system with robots. An original production system is analyzed with respect to its economical and technological requirements for automation. If automation of the given production system is feasible, the conceptual design for automation is firstly derived. Next, the detail design is derived for the optimum conceptual design. Finally, an optimum system solution is determined after the economical and technical evaluation of all the derived detail designs. The all specifications of each element of the redesigned production system and its layout are determined at the detail design phase. This paper shows a low cost supporting tool for layout design of robotic cell with SCARA type robots.

  • Typically, robot system configured by articulated robot manipulator with 1 DOF transfer unit is being applied in automotive manufacturing automation process. Especially, 1 DOF transfer unit is necessary to extend workspace of robot manipulator. In this configuration, because transfer unit works only one direction, robot manipulator only works in one side in case of car body painting or sealing automation process. it is necessary three robot manipulator system at least. In this paper, in order to robot manipulator works effectively in car body sealing automation application, we are suggested omni-directional manipulator system and conducted studying on redundancy resolution method to solve manipulability-optimal problem.

  • Construction is a labor-intensive industry that heavily relies on skilled construction workers. However, the aging of the workforce is rapidly growing, and the shortage of skilled workers is intensifying. The application of construction robotics technology can solve the problem of workforce shortage and guarantee construction productivity, safety, and quality improvement. This study presents a framework of the functional analysis for construction processes and work tasks that classifies and analyzes processes and work tasks for construction robotics design. The framework presents the functional analysis process, which analyzes workers' attributes and identifies functions of construction robotics.

Electrical Engineering Design Method Based on Neural Network and Application of Automatic Control System

  • The existing electrical engineering design method and the dynamic objective function in the application process of automatic control system fail to meet the unbounded condition, which affects the control tracking accuracy. In order to improve the tracking control accuracy, this paper studies the electrical engineering design method based on neural network and the application of automatic control system. This paper analyzes the structure and working mechanism of electrical engineering automation control system by an automation control model with main control objectives. Following the analysis, an optimal solution of controllability design and fault-tolerant control is figured out. The automatic control power coefficient is distributed based on an ideal control effect of system. According to the distribution results, an automatic control algorithm is based on neural network for accurate control. The experimental results show that the electrical automation control method based on neural network can significantly reduce the control following error to 3.62%, improve the accuracy of the electrical automation tracking control, thus meeting the actual production needs of electrical engineering automation control system.
