  • Standards are increasing of importance for photovoltaics. The rapid growth of production is one reason for this but standards are equally important in ensuring the quality and reliability of installed PV systems. which have a propound impact on acceptance of the technology in the expanding marketplace. Korea government (Korean Agency for Technology and Standards. KATS)make and implement a five year plans for promotion of international standardization of this field from 2004. Through these works and harmonization of PV Korea standards with international standards(international electrotechnical commission. IEC). KATS leads the technology innovations and eventually increases the international Competitiveness. Strategic collaboration with other countries is also strengthened through Korea's participation in IECEE(IEC system for conformity and certification of electrical equipment) on standards and conformity assessment. One of the major goals of the Plan is to facilitate trade between Korea and its trading partners by emphasizing harmonization of its national conformity assessment system with international norms

  • 태양광 발전설비 등을 포함한 신재생에너지원을 활용한 발전설비는 설치면적이 넓은 편이어서 도심 거주지역에는 대용량을 설치 하기가 힘들다. 따라서 원거리의 도서지역 등에 설치하는 것이 일반적으로, 발전설비를 보유한 사용자들의 실질적인 혜택을 위하여 발전설비를 통해 생산한 전력과 거주지 등에서 소비하는 전력을 실시간으로 관리할 수 있는 방법이 필요하다. 현재, 스마트 그리드에서는 실시간 요금제 및 전력의 양방향화를 통해 사용자들이 전력을 효율적으로 사용하는 방법에 대한 도입을 추진하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 각 사용자별 전력생산과 전력소비의 시간대별 관리를 수행하고, 효율적인 전력사용이 이뤄지도록 하여 신재생에너지원에서 발전된 전력을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

거래량이 한계설정이 배출권거래제에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effectso f ceiling on Emission Permits Trading)

  • 본 연구에서는 비용효과적인 배출권거래를 모델화하여 온실가스 저감비용과 거래 이윤측면에서 한계설정이 배출권거래제에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 그 결과 한계저감비용곡선이 한 국가의 배출권거래 행태를 결정하는 주요요소이며, 배출권거래시장에참여하여 저감의무량의 일정분을 거래를 통해 의무를 이해하고 잔여량만을 자국의 기술력으로 저감하는 것이 비용효과적임을 확인하였다. 또한 배출권의 구매량을 제한하는 계설정은 배출권의 초과공급으로 거래가격이 낮게 형성되어 거래이윤이 구매측에 편중되었으며, 판매량 제한 또는 구매와판매 양측의 거래량을 제한할 경우는 반대로 배출권의 초과수요로 거래이윤이 판매측에 편중되는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 거래량의 제한이 없는 경우에 가장 비용효과적인 배출권거래의 행태를 보였으나, 지구온난화에 대한 역사적 책임또는 형평성 문제, Hot air 거래등의 문제로 한계설정을 해야한다면, 구매와 판매량을 모두 제한함으로써 거래당사국들간의 이윤 편중을 완화하는 방안으로 모색해야 한다는 결론을 얻었다.

Developing an Optimization Module for Water, Energy, and Food Nexus Simulation

  • A nation-wide water-energy-food (WEF) nexus simulation model has been developed by the authors and successfully applied to South Korea to predict the sustainability of those three resources in the next 30 years. The model was also capable of simulating future scenarios of resources allocation based on priority rules aiming to maximize resources sustainability. However, the process was still relying on several assumptions and trial-and-error approach, which sometimes resulted in non-optimal solutions of resources allocation. In this study, an optimization module was introduced to enhance the model in generating optimal resources management rules. The objective of the optimization was to maximize the reliability index of resources by determining the resources' allocation and/or priority rules for each demand type that accordingly reflect the resources management policies. Implementation of the optimization module would result in balanced allocation and management of limited resources and assist the stakeholders in deciding resources' management plans, either by fulfilling the domestic production or by global trading.

에너지 블록체인 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Energy Blockchain System)

  • This paper discusses on the implementation of blockchain system, specifically the private system for Energy trading purpose. Blockchain is records bundled together in blocks and added to the chain after ledger is generated. All the blocks in the entire networks should be same contents and also only the permitted nodes can join the chain in the private blockchain system, thus not that same block and permitted nodes cannot be accepted in terms of proof-of-work phase. We implement the all stages which are necessary to process blockchain system. After coding the whole process, we test and conclude that the system is correctly working in terms of the functions implemented.

  • 환경문제와 더불어 우리나라의 신재생 에너지에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 현재 한전과의 상계거래 체결을 통해 관리되고 있는 태양광 에너지 관리는 친환경 신재생 에너지의 대표적 모델이다. 본 논문에서는 가정에서 발생하는 태양광패널의 잉여 전력량을 이웃과 거래하는 P2P(Peer to Peer)방식을 제안하였다. 제안하는 방식을 통하여 각 가구의 데이터를 활용하여 에너지에 대한 수요-공급량을 도출하고 균형거래가격을 결정하여 참여자 간 합리적 에너리 관리가 가능하다.

  • As carbon neutrality becomes an issue around the world, research is actively being conducted to achieve reduction targets for each industry by declaring 2050 carbon neutrality in Korea and implementing the greenhouse gas target management system and emission trading system. The construction industry quantitatively predicts and evaluates carbon emissions by stages through the evaluation of the entire building process, but research on this is insufficient in the case of the construction process. Therefore, as part of the research on predicting and reducing carbon emissions generated at construction sites, data from actual construction sites were collected to analyze the facilities and characteristics of each energy source, and a scenario was proposed to quantitatively predict the use of each energy source.

  • The cost-effective reduction of greenhouse gas(GHG) emission to avert the most severe impacts of climate change remains one of the widely accepted priorities for global action. In order to facilitate cost-effective abatement strategies, the Kyoto Protocol introduced three mechanisms, or flexible instruments, the Emissions Trading(ET), the Joint Implementation(JI) and the Clean Development Mechanism(CDM). The CDM enables Annex I countries to the Kyoto Protocol to partially meet cost-effectively their emission reduction commitments by undertaking GHG mitigation Projects in developing countries, which do not have any GHG abatement obligations and where the emission reductions are cheaper. One of the major barriers hampering the wide spread implementation of CDM is the high transaction costs associated with the initial identification of promising CDM projects. This paper presents development of a pre-validation program of CDM. The developed program may provide a useful aid to potential investors and project developers as a supportive pre-evaluation tool, and may become an effective tool for the promotion of renewable energy and fuel switching projects.

  • This research investigates the life-cycle energy consumption of the windows used for the building's exterior cladding, and its environmental potential aspects by utilizing the LCA. The research scope has taken account of the entire life-cycle of the windows from the extraction of raw materials to its disposal, of which given sample building type is an apartment building. Results gained from the LCA of the windows as one of the steps in analysis reflects the current global interest and analysis trend towards the world's environmental issue on all fields of industry including the architectural industry, of which its newly established standards of architectural windows can further promote more environmentally sustainable factor compared to the previous analysis (focused more on energy efficiency assessment of the use stage).

  • In opportunistic network, the behavior of a node is autonomous and has social attributes such as selfishness.If a node wants to forward information to another node, it is bound to be limited by the node's own resources such as cache, power, and energy.Therefore, in the process of communication, some nodes do not help to forward information of other nodes because of their selfish behavior. This will lead to the inability to complete cooperation, greatly reduce the success rate of message transmission, increase network delay, and affect the overall network performance. This article proposes a hybrid incentive mechanism (Mim) based on the Reputation mechanism and the Credit mechanism.The selfishness model, energy model (The energy in the article exists in the form of electricity) and transaction model constitute our Mim mechanism. The Mim classifies the selfishness of nodes and constantly pay attention to changes in node energy, and manage the wealth of both sides of the node by introducing the Central Money Management Center. By calculating the selfishness of the node, the currency trading model is used to differentiate pricing of the node's services. Simulation results show that by using the Mim, the information delivery rate in the network and the fairness of node transactions are improved. At the same time, it also greatly increases the average life of the network.
