에너지 인터넷을 위한 GRU기반 전력사용량 예측 (Prediction of Power Consumptions Based on Gated Recurrent Unit for Internet of Energy)

  • 최근 에너지 인터넷에서 지능형 원격검침 인프라를 이용하여 확보된 대량의 전력사용데이터를 기반으로 효과적인 전력수요 예측을 위해 다양한 기계학습기법에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전력량 데이터와 같은 시계열 데이터에 대해 효율적으로 패턴인식을 수행하는 인공지능 네트워크인 Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU)을 기반으로 딥 러닝 모델을 제안하고, 실제 가정의 전력사용량 데이터를 토대로 예측 성능을 분석한다. 제안한 학습 모델의 예측 성능과 기존의 Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) 인공지능 네트워크 기반의 전력량 예측 성능을 비교하며, 성능평가 지표로써 Mean Squared Error (MSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Forecast Skill Score, Normalized Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), Normalized Mean Bias Error (NMBE)를 이용한다. 실험 결과에서 GRU기반의 제안한 시계열 데이터 예측 모델의 전력량 수요 예측 성능이 개선되는 것을 확인한다.

포스텍 캠퍼스의 전력 사용 데이터 수집 및 분석 (Collection and Analysis of Electricity Consumption Data in POSTECH Campus)

  • Purpose: This paper introduces Pohang University of Science Technology (POSTECH) advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and Open Innovation Big Data Center (OIBC) platform and analysis results of electricity consumption data collected via the AMI in POSTECH campus. Methods: We installed 248 sensors in seven buildings at POSTECH for the AMI and collected electricity consumption data from the buildings. To identify the amounts and trends of electricity consumption of the seven buildings, electricity consumption data collected from March to June 2019 were analyzed. In addition, this study compared the differences between the amounts and trends of electricity consumption of the seven buildings before and after the COVID-19 outbreak by using electricity consumption data collected from March to June 2019 and 2020. Results: Users can monitor, visualize, and download electricity consumption data collected via the AMI on the OIBC platform. The analysis results show that the seven buildings consume different amounts of electricity and have different consumption trends. In addition, the amounts of most buildings were significantly reduced after the COVID-19 outbreak. Conclusion: POSTECH AMI and OIBC platform can be a good reference for other universities that prepare their own microgrid. The analysis results provides a proof that POSTECH needs to establish customized strategies on reducing electricity for each building. Such results would be useful for energy-efficient operation and preparation of unusual energy consumptions due to unexpected situations like the COVID-19 pandemic.

사물인터넷에서 경량화 장치 간 DTLS 세션 설정 시 에너지 소비량 분석 (Analysis on Energy Consumption Required for Building DTLS Session Between Lightweight Devices in Internet of Things)

  • 사물인터넷에서는 센서와 같은 자원이 제한된 장치들이 인터넷을 경유하여 통신하고 정보를 공유할 수 있다. 이러한 경량화 장치가 응용계층에서 데이터를 전송할 수 있도록 IETF에서는 전송계층 UDP를 이용하는 CoAP을 표준으로 제정하였으며, 보안을 위해 DTLS를 사용할 것을 권고하고 있다. 그러나 DTLS는 데이터 손실, 단편화, 리오더링 그리고 리플레이 공격 문제를 해결하기 위해 부가적인 보상 기술이 추가되었다. 이로 인해 DTLS는 TLS 보다 성능이 저하된다. 경량화 장치는 배터리로 구성된 경우, 배터리 효율의 극대화를 위해 저전력으로도 동작될 수 있는 보안 설계 및 구현 역시 반드시 고려되어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 에너지 소비량 관점에서 DTLS의 성능에 대해 논의하고자 한다. 성능 분석을 위해 Cooja 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 센서 장치와 IEEE 802.15.4 기반의 네트워크 실험 환경을 구축하였다. 실험 환경을 통해 DTLS 통신을 하고자 하는 서버와 클라이언트의 에너지 소비량을 각각 측정하였다. 또한 DTLS의 핸드쉐이크 Flight 별 에너지 소모량, 처리 시간 및 수신 시간, 전송 데이터 크기를 측정하여 코드 크기, 암호 프리미티브 그리고 단편화 관점에서 분석된 결과를 함께 기술하였다.

  • 에너지 패턴은 국가 경제 침체에 따라 에너지 소비가 감소한 질병 트렌드의 사회 문제에 영향을 받는 것으로 분석됩니다. 사람들을 위한 사회적 거리 캠페인은 2019 년 코로나 바이러스 질병 (COVID-19)의 전염병으로 인해 자발적으로 또는 법적으로 수행되었습니다. 미국, 한국 등 일부 국가에서 일부 경제 부양 정책이 시행되었습니다. S, I, R로 논리적 모델링이 구성되는 시스템 역학 (SD)에 의해 적용된 SIR (Sceptible, Infectious, Recovery) 모델링을 보여줍니다. 특히 I 는 인구, 인종, 성숙도를 포함한 사회와 연결되어 있습니다. 또한 경제 및 정치는 소득, GDP, 자원, 대통령, 인기, 통치 정부 및 리더십과 관련이 있습니다. 그래프는 S 값 곱셈이 시작되는 2020년 4월의 큰 도약을 보여줍니다. 이것은 COVID-19의 영향과 관련 유행병 이후 추세를 보여줍니다. OECD와 비 OECD의 경향은 매우 유사하며 바이러스 위험의 영향은 경제 침체를 크게 유발합니다.

확장된 기술수용모델을 이용한 가정용 에너지 수요반응 프로그램 실증분석 (Extended TAM Analysis of a Residential DR Pilot Program)

  • 전력 수요가 증가하고 재생 가능 에너지에 대한 관심이 증폭됨에 따라, 수요를 억제하여 필요한 공급량을 줄일 수 있는 '수요반응' 프로그램에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 가정에 스마트미터를 구비한 국내 사용자들을 대상으로 진행된 에너지 수요반응 실증사업에 대한 실증분석으로, 사전심층 인터뷰, 설문 및 기술수용모델 분석을 통하여 가정 전력 사용자들이 수요반응 프로그램을 받아들이는 데 중요한 요인들을 살펴본다. 수요반응의 목표는 피크시간대에 미션이 발령되면 전력사용량을 평소보다 줄이는 것이며, 실험대상은 스마트미터 구입 경로와 에너지를 절감했을 때 보상받는 방식에 따라 2개의 상이한 집단으로 구성되었다. 집단 A는 주로 IoT플랫폼 서비스에 가입하는 과정에서 마케터와의 대화를 통해 전체 서비스 중 하나인 스마트미터 서비스에 함께 가입하는 경로로 수요반응 프로그램에 유입되었고, 보상으로는 통신비 할인을 받았다. 반면 집단 B는 스마트미터를 자발적으로 구매하거나 에너지 자립 마을 지역주민으로서 지자체 지원을 통해 스마트미터를 지원 받아 프로그램에 유입되었고, 미션 성공에 대한 보상은 사회적 기부를 통해 이루어졌다. 분석 결과 집단 A는 인지된 용이성과 인지된 유용성 외에 인지된 유희성도 포함된 확장된 기술수용모델이 적합함을 알 수 있었고,집단 B는 모델의 적합도가 떨어지기는 하지만 집단 A에 비해 인지된 유용성에 대한 중요도가 높음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결과는 집단 특성에 따른 프로그램 설계방향을 제시하여 향후 수요반응 프로그램을 효과적으로 운영하는 데에 도움을 줄 것으로 보인다.

국내 베트남 결혼이민여성과 한국인 배우자의 식이섭취 및 식습관에 대한 상관관계 (Dietary Intakes and Eating Behaviors of Vietnamese Female Immigrants to Korea through Marriage and Korean Spouses and Correlations of Their Diets)

  • This study aimed to examine nutritional status and similarities of diets between Vietnamese female immigrants and Korean spouses and dietary changes of Vietnamese females after immigration. Subjects were 608 couples visiting 13 medical centers for the Cohort of Intermarried Women in Korea from November 2006 to November 2007. Anthropometric and biochemical measurements were obtained and dietary intakes were assessed using one-day 24-hour recall. Sixty-eight percent of wives answered there have been changes in their diets and consumptions of meats, fish, dairy products, vegetables, and fruits increased after immigration. Energy intakes of wives and spouses were 1491.7 kcal and 1788.8 kcal, respectively, showing most couples (80.1%) consumed less than the Korean estimated energy requirements. More than half of the couples were below the Korean estimated average requirements of zinc, vitamin $B_2$, and folate. The correlation coefficients between couples ranged 0.15-0.38 for unadjusted, 0.22-0.35 for per 1000 kcal, and 0.21-0.40 for energy-adjusted, respectively. The proportions of couples in the same quartiles of each nutrient intake and in the same answers of each question of Mini Dietary Assessment were about 30% across nutrients and around 50% across questions. The length of residence is related to similarities of nutrient intakes between couples: similarities decreased after 3 years of residence in Korea. In conclusion, nutritional intakes of inter-married couples were inadequate although wives reported that their dietary intakes increased after immigration. Inadequate nutrient intakes of wives were partly explained by similar diets between couples because these wives without enough adjustment to Korean culture were more likely to follow what their spouses ate. Findings from this study may be helpful to improve the nutritional status of inter-married couples and make policies and programs for them. A follow-up study should identify factors affecting inadequate nutritional status of intermarried couples and similarities of their diets.

환자들의 병원급식 섭취 실태 및 병원급식 품질 속성에 대한 인식 분석 (In-Patients' Food Consumption and Perception on Foodservice Quality at Hospitals)

  • The purposes of this research were to investigate in-patients' perception on foodservice quality and to examine factors influencing their meal consumption at hospitals. Three general hospitals with over 400 beds in Seoul and Chon-An agreed to participate in the research. A total of 516 in-patients of the hospitals were surveyed on their meal consumptions, reasons of plate wastes, perceptions of foodservice quality, and demographic information. A response rate was 76% after excluding responses with significant missing data. On average the regular diet patients consumed 72%, 69%, and 68% of rice, soups, and side dishes served, respectively; the therapeutic diet patients consumed less than 70% of the meals they were served. The consumption rates did not differ significantly by diet type, gender, age, and hospitalization period. Among the therapeutic diet patients, those who had nutrition education consumed significantly more rice than the others (p<0.05). The main reasons why the patients did not eat all food served were 'lack of energy' and 'not tasty'. The patients' perception on foodservice quality was low; the therapeutic diet patients perceived more negatively than the regular diet patients in 'keeping hot food hot, cold food cold(p<0.05)', 'maintaining consistency of taste(p<0.01)', and 'providing nutrition information(p<0.01)'. To achieve the goal of the foodservice at hospitals, the dietitians can use the findings of the research in developing and implementing strategies to improve the patients' meal consumption. Recipe standardization, employee training, and production management will be useful for improving food quality and nutrition education on therapeutic diets for the patients will improve their meal consumption at hospitals.

대학생의 음료섭취 실태와 식품섭취 및 영양소섭취와의 관련성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Beverage Consumption Pattern Associated with Food and Nutrient Intakes of College Students)

  • This study was conducted to investigate beverage consumptions in relation to food intakes of Korean young people. One hundred thirty five college students(61 males and 74 females) living in Taegu, Kyung-buk and Taejon answered to questionnaires and recorded three day food intakes between May 20 and June 5, 1997. The preferred beverages were fruit juice, carbonated drink, dairy drink, sport beverage for male students, and fruit juice, dairy drink, sport beverage and carbonated drink for female students. Beverage taken most frequently was coffee for both. Frequent consumption of orange juice was associated with consumption of vegetables, meats, and fats and oils used for frying, and light cola seemed to be consumed with greasy dishes. Beverage consumption contributed to intakes of calcium and vitamin $B_2$more than other nutrients. 4.6% of total energy intake, 15.5% of calcium intake, 11.4% of vitamin $B_2$ provided from beverages in female. Contributions of beverages to nutrient intakes were higher in female than in male students. Calcium intake was the lowest among nutrients for males, and intakes of iron and vitamin A were the lowest for females as compared to the recommended dietary allowances. Therefore it is necessary to guide college students to choose beverages for balanced intakes of necessary nutrients.

  • With the prosperous economy, the status of diet and nutrition among the urban and rural Chinese population has been improved significantly. This paper will focuses on three main surveys in China. (1)'Food and Nutrition Surveillance System in China': Phase I focused on analysis of previous data. Phase II was a pilot survey initiated in Beijing, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Ningxia, Zhejiang, Guangzhou, and Sichuan in 1990. (2) 'The China Health and Nutrition Survey' is an ongoing longitudinal project covered 8(9) provinces in 1991,1993,1997,2000. This paper will analysis the adults aged 18 45 of 1991, 1993, 1997, and 2000. (3) Survey on the status of nutrition and health of the Chinese (2002) is an across sectional study covered 31 provinces, autonomous region and the municipalities. The data was used to analyze the status of food consumption and dietary nutrients intake of Chinese population. In the past ten years, the prevalence of malnutrition and nutrition deficiency has been continuously decreased. The consumptions of animal products, milk, and edible oil have been increased, while the dairy and legume products consumption decreased. The unbalance was showed with a downward trend in cereals, vegetables and fruits consumption and a significant increase in animal products and oil intake among urban people. Dietary pattern of some subjects went away to 'high energy density' diet. The deficiency of calcium, retinal and ascorbic acid etc, especially in the rural areas still exist. China is undergoing a remarkable, but undesirable, rapid transition towards a stage of the nutrition transition characterized by high rates of DR NCDs in a very short time. China is facing the dual challenges of nutrition deficiency and nutrition imbalance. The results can help to understand the dietary structure and the status of nutrition among Chinese people over the past years. It will provide the basis for formulating relevant state policies.

시군별 이산화황(SO$_2$) 오염도의 현황 진단과 장기 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on Estimations and Long-term Forecasts of SO$_2$ Pollution in Each City & County of Korea)

  • It is more likely that the degree of air quality degradation that we have faced would be much lessen, if integrated management of air pollution control and assessment had been fully enforced by the local administrations, not by the centralized environmental agency in the first place. As the selfgoverning local administrations have been established since 1995, the need for air quality control by the local administration or local agency is getting the ground. However, in practice, air quality control by the local administration rarely put into effect due to lack of basic data which cover the present trends of air quality in each local city or county and are necessary for decision making. The emissions of SO$_2$ in each city and county of Korea in 1993 were calculated in this study, based on energy consumptions and emission factors. The ambient concentrations of SO$_2$ also were estimated by applying modified Miller-Holtzworth model. Observed and estimated concentrations of SO$_2$ showed that about 17.5 percents of cities and counties in the country were more polluted than the target value, 20ppb/year. The emissions and ambient concentrations of SO$_2$ in each city and county in 2000, 2005, and 2010 were also forecasted, assumed business as usual senario. It was shown that, in 2010, the emissions of SO$_2$ will be 2.8 times more than those of 1993 and much of them are from industrial sector. Also shown that 38.3 percents of cities and counties will be more polluted than the target value and most of them are polluted areas in 1993. The methods and results of this study could be used in developing the efficient reduction strategies in each city and county.
