  • This paper proposes central monitoring system(PVCMS) based on a TCP/IP network for effective integrating management about photovoltaic systems. We don't gain confidence the result of production simulation, because the output of PV system have many various environmental change factor. So if we can obtain real operated data about each sites and system types to use PVCMS, we can define the environment change factor to compare with simulation data. And this paper try to access about total management and data analysis methods of renewable energy through results analysis to synthesize of the operation.

  • The reduction of power consumption in large-scale datacenters is highly-dependent on the use of virtualization to consolidate multiple workloads. However, these consolidation strategies must also take into account additional important parameters such as performance, reliability, and profitability. Resolving these conflicting goals is often the major challenge encountered in the design of optimization strategies for cloud data centers. In this paper, we put forward a data center monitoring strategy which dynamically alters its approach depending on the cloud system's current state. Results show that our proposed scheme outperformed strategies which only focus on a single metric such as SLA-Awareness and Energy Efficiency.

  • In wireless sensor network, since each sensor is equipped with a limited power, efficient use of the energy is important. One possible network management scheme is to cluster the sensors into several sets, so that the sensors in each of the sets can completely perform the monitoring task. Then the sensors in one set become active to perform the monitoring task and the rest of the sensors switch to a sleep state to save energy. Therefore, we rotate the roles of the active set among the sensors to maximize the network lifetime. In this paper, we suggest an optimal algorithm for the maximum lifetime coverage problem which maximizes the network lifetime. For comparison, we implemented both the heuristic proposed earlier and our algorithm, and executed computational experiments. Our algorithm outperformed the heuristic concerning the obtained network lifetimes, and it found the solutions in a reasonable amount of time.

  • During the last two decades, we experienced a few of the energy shocks and felt the importance of the energy saving seriously. As our energy reliance on other countries is absolute. We must counter these situations nationally. To save the electric energy, various methods are explored such as the moderation of motor capability, the use of high efficiency system, the supervision of lighting systems, demand monitoring control systems. In this study, we develop a system for electric power energy saving. In Case the receiving point voltage is higher than the required voltage, the system reduce the voltage to an allowable level and by doing so it saves energy and protects the equipments from over voltage.

  • As the global warming and climate change cause the various social problems, such as disasters, abnormal temperature and diseases, technologies and studies for energy conservation and efficiency are increased. Energy use in buildings accounted for 22% of national energy use, so energy saving technology is promoted for residence, commercial and public buildings. Existing methods for energy conservation are passive ways, in that they consider heat loss and low-energy equipment. In recent years, active technologies emerge by converging with ICT, which detect and remove the energy waste situation by measuring, monitoring and controlling the energy use. In this paper, we describe technology trends for building energy optimization and investigates issues for active energy savings.

  • The present research paper is devoted to solving an urgent problem, i.e., the energy saving and energy efficiency of buildings. A rapid settlement method and experimental control of the energy conservation based on the specific characteristics of the thermal energy consumption for the heating and ventilation of the buildings, and as well as the rapid development of wireless sensor networks, can be used in a variety of monitoring parameters in our daily lives. Today's world has become quite advanced with smart appliances and devices such as laptops, tablets, TVs, and smartphones with various functions, and their use has increased significantly in our day-to-day lives. In this case, the most important role is played by a wireless sensor network with its development and use in heterogeneous areas and in several different contexts. The fields of home automation, process management, and health management systems make extensive use of wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we explore the main factors of the microclimate in an indoor environment. We control the temperature humidity, and other factors remotely using sensors and Internet-of-Things technologies.

  • Recently there are growing interests on the energy conservation and emission reduction. In the fields of architecture and civil engineering, the energy monitoring of structures is required to response the energy issues. In perspective of thermal monitoring, thermal images gains popularity for their rich visual information. With the rapid development of the drone platform, aerial thermal images acquired using drone can be used to monitor not only a part of structure, but wider coverage. In addition, the stereo photogrammetric process is expected to generate 3D point cloud with thermal information. However thermal images show very poor in resolution with narrow field of view that limit the use of drone-based thermal photogrammety. In the study, we aimed to generate 3D thermal point cloud using visible and thermal images. The visible images show high spatial resolution being able to generate precise and dense point clouds. Then we extract thermal information from thermal images to assign them onto the point clouds by precisely establishing photogrammetric collinearity between the point clouds and thermal images. From the experiment, we successfully generate dense 3D thermal point cloud showing 3D thermal distribution over the building structure.

  • Nowadays, the limitation of Lighting control and management skills is the excessive cost of equipments, the operational difficulties and wasting energy. To solve this problem is in need of communication and management S/W that is worked out complexly well as a information system of smart lighting energy, which is loaded wireless network facility. This paper made a study od the energy saving technology through energy monitoring and we developed LEIS(Lighting Energy Information Sysem) to converge this one. LEIS is monitoring and control lighting energy data that is collelcted from sensors by Zigbee mesh network and shows lighting use information by visualization to users. It is consists of lighting energy information data base based on LEM(Lighting Energy Metering) information and LEIS Web application, provide function scenario to manage energy optimization through LEIS.

  • Given the rapidly increasing market penetration of photovoltaic (PV) systems in many fields, including construction and housing, the effective maintenance of PV systems through remote monitoring at the panel level has attracted attention to quickly detect faults that cause reductions in yearly PV energy production, and which can reduce the whole-life cost. A key point of PV monitoring at the panel level is cost-effectiveness, as the installation of the massive PV panels that comprise PV systems is showing rapid growth in the market. This paper proposes an implementation method that involves the use of a panel-level wireless PV monitoring module (WPMM), and which assesses the cost-effectiveness of this approach. To maximize the cost-effectiveness, the designed WPMM uses a voltage-divider scheme for voltage metering and a shunt-resistor scheme for current metering. In addition, the proposed method offsets the effect of element errors by extracting calibration parameters. Furthermore, a design method is presented for portable and user-friendly PV monitoring, and demonstration results using a commercial 30-kW PV system are described.
