The purpose of this study was to design and implement a useful annotation-based Radiological image retrieval system to accurately determine on education and image information for Radiological technologists. For better retrieval performance based on large image databases, we presented an indexing technique that integrated $B^+-tree$ proposed by Bayer for indexing simple attributes and inverted file structure for text medical keywords acquired from additional description information about Radiological images. In our results, we implemented proposed retrieval system with Delphi under Windows XP environment. End users, Radiological technologists, are able to store simple attributes information such as doctor name, operator name, body parts, disease and so on, additional text-based description information, and Radiological image itself as well as to retrieve wanted results by using simple attributes and text keywords from large image databases by graphic user interface. Consequently proposed system can be used for effective clinical decision on Radiological image, reduction of education time by organizing the knowledge, and well organized education in the clinical fields. In addition, It can be expected to develop as decision support system by constructing web-based integrated imaging system included general image and special contrast image for the future.

Energy saving strategy for public housing is given a sizable portion in Land and Housing corporation. From this reason, the consumer's characteristics and energy consciousness of public housing dweller was derived from field survey for compare with sale housing residents characteristics. Utilities fees (e.g. gas and electric) for public housing residents was about 50 percent of sales housing dweller, but real energy consumption was accounting for 70% of sales housing residents in electric consumption. Among the respondents for public housing dweller up to 80 percentile of end-user comment that they have less demanding utilities fees. Given the major energy saving strategies, such as install EMS, make a teaching tool for children, sale housing residents is more proactive approach to participant energy saving strategies than public housing residents.

Recently, It is required that multimedia data display on not only PC but also the Mobile device such as cellar phone, PDA. Mobile divieces has not sufficient of storage space or main memory and has slow network speed. So we can't process the multimedia data with the existing way on PC. This paper presents various methods for MultimediaPresentation which are able to display on the mobile device with the low-bandwidth and small storage. There Is an analysis that Is playable on the mobile device using presentation area devision method and replayable analysis method. If the display of multimedia presentation is impossible from this analysis, to apply prefetch techniques a using EPOB apoint and as User QoS of multimedia data through prefetch techniques have keep, do so that playable. Then, it is proposed to playable smooth multimedia presentation as that each of the presentations through prefetch Scheduling techniques point and quantity of data which are prefetch.

A fundamental issue to consider when searching Web information is the quality of information itself and of service. If a Quality Information System (QIS) of Digital Library is sought, new measurement criteria and evaluation index for Web information service are required. Reliance on the existing evaluation criteria is not acceptable if data retrieved are not information and the service is only noise to end-user. Applying existing evaluation criteria of online database to Environmental & Energy Engineering Web DB revealed the limitations and provided a practical and case-based information for improvement. No attempt was made to survey comprehensively all of the evaluation methods that could possibly be relevant. Instead, this discussion concentrates on the information service evaluation index being developed in the KDPC Project. The research found that domestic Web-DB service are still woefully insufficient to conduct comprehensive investigations on environmental topics. More qualified and specialized R&D Web information service and the development of new evaluation criteria based on this investigation(research I.) will be discussed in follow-up research II.

Due to new social environment, expenditure on eating out has increased over the last few year, thereafter the food-tech industries have steadily grown as well. We have studied what variable would affect customer's choices when they plan to eat out or order in. There are two variables are taken into account to prove it. Firstly, it is climate changes, such as an amount of rainfall, snowfall and clouds. Secondly, it is days, such as seasons and holidays. Based on this, we looked up the SikSin user's behaviors patterns, then did analysis of the daily data provided by the Meteorological office. By the end of the study, it turned out that two variables, climate changes and days, both have a strong influence on customer's choices. It is considered that this research outcome will make contributions to small businesses founders who want to take the initiative, marketing managers and people who are engaged in the food-tech industry.

This literature review explores artificial intelligence (AI) technology trends and IBM Watson health and medical references. This study explains how healthcare will be changed by the evolution of AI technology, and also summarizes key technologies in AI, specifically the technology of IBM Watson. We look at this issue from the perspective of 'information overload,' in that medical literature doubles every three years, with approximately 700,000 new scientific articles being published every year, in addition to the explosion of patient data. Estimates are also forecasting a shortage of oncologists, with the demand expected to grow by 42%. Due to this projected shortage, physicians won't likely be able to explore the best treatment options for patients in clinical trials. This issue can be addressed by the AI Watson motivation to solve healthcare industry issues. In addition, the Watson Oncology solution is reviewed from the end user interface point of view. This study also investigates global company platform business to explain how AI and machine learning technology are expanding in the market with use cases. It emphasizes ecosystem partner business models that can support startup and venture businesses including healthcare models. Finally, we identify a need for healthcare company partnerships to be reviewed from the aspect of solution transformation. AI and Watson will change a lot in the healthcare business. This study addresses what we need to prepare for AI, Cognitive Era those are understanding of AI innovation, Cloud Platform business, the importance of data sets, and needs for further enhancement in our knowledge base.

Surgical methods and associated precision systems have been developed, but surgical procedures that require precise location and fine manipulation of the lesion remain a limitation. The combination of precision robot manipulation technology and 3D medical image navigation technology overcomes the limitations of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) and enables a more stable and successful operation. Surgical robots are surgical robots such as da Vince, and surgical robots using industrial robotic arms. There are various developments and researches of medical robots. In recent medical robot development, a new type of surgical robot based on an industrial robot arm capable of easily replacing the end effector according to the user's needs is being actively developed at home and abroad. Therefore, in this study, we developed safety and performance evaluation guideline for micro - surgical robots based on open robot platform using general purpose robot arm to help quality control of the medical device.

Recently, hybrid CDN/P2P video streaming architecture is specially designed and deployed to achieve the scalability of P2P networks and the desired low delay and high throughput of CDNs. In this paper, we propose a cooperative video streaming and active node buffer management technique in hybrid CDN/P2P architecture. The key idea of this streaming strategy is to minimize network latency such as jitter and packet loss and to maximize the QoS(quality of service) by effectively and efficiently utilizing the information sharing of file location in CDN's proxy server which is an end node located close to a user and P2P network. Through simulation, we show that the proposed cooperative video streaming and active node buffer management technique based on CDN and P2P network improves the performance of realtime video streaming compared to previous methods.

Based on the current status of use of L-Commerce installed in the Yongsan Public Library and Mapo Lifelong Learning Center, this study suggested the direction of spatial design for the public library's makerspace with L-Commons model. To this end, we investigated the literature research on library makerspaces and the case studies of makerspaces installed in 25 public libraries in Korea and 18 public libraries in the US. And In-depth interviews and user surveys were conducted. The public library makerspace presented through this study should be an open space where everyone in the community can easily enter, break down barriers between all classes in the region, and lead to smooth communication. Second, it should be a learning, cooperation, and creative space where resources can be shared and cooperation for creative activities and projects can be carried out. Third, it should be a creative workspace where community members can turn ideas into physical things that anyone can't do elsewhere or work on something interesting.

Unused spare parts of military equipments which have been kept in the warehouse for a long term have been recognized as wasting of defense budget which also decreased people's confidence in the field of national defence. It is known that overstock is caused by information distortion and bullwhip effect from downstream to upstream in the logistic support as is like business cases. After upgrading the logistic information system, it is possible for Army Logistics Command(ALC) to know demand information of end-user which is the key factor to reduce bullwhip effect. However, inventory is still overstocked and stock-out at the same time. Previous studies have not accounted for these phenomenons and have mainly focused on forecasting inventory level instead of budgetary process(budget period, PROLT, ASL/N-ASL). Thus, this study focuses on the information distortion, overstock and stock-out which caused by budgetary process in the logistic support with system dynamics and simulation.
