중년남성 근로자의 분노표현양식과 직무 스트레스가 심혈관질환 발생위험에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Anger Expression Style and Occupational Stress on the Risk of Cardiovascular Disease in Middle-aged Male Workers)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the factors affecting cardiovascular disease in middle-aged male workers. Methods: The participants were 137 male office workers over 40 years old and under 60 years old working in small- and medium-sized workplaces from three southern provinces of Korea. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaires and health screening reports from the 2014 National Health Examination. The influencing factors included general characteristics of participants, anger expression style, and occupational stress. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, and regression analysis with SPSS 22.0. Results: The mean score of risk of cardiovascular disease was 6.73±4.69 and there were significant differences in exercise (t=2.13, p=.035) working time (t=-2.15, p=.034). Logistic regression analysis showed that, when adjusted for exercise and working time, the probability of becoming under a cardiovascular disease risk was 21% higher for those who anger-in (OR=1.21, 95% CI=1.02~1.44, p=.027) and 12% higher for those perceived occupational stress (OR=1.12, 95% CI=1.01~1.24, p=.030). Conclusion: The results suggest developing the strategies for middle-aged male workers to encourage exercise and to decrease occupational stress, as well as an appropriate anger expression style to improve holistic aspect of health considering their demographic characteristics.

요양병원 간병인의 직업의식, 직무스트레스, 직무만족도가 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Work Sense, Job Stress, Job Satisfaction on Turnover Intention of Caregivers in Long-Term Care Hospitals)

  • Purposes: Caregivers are placed in a poor working environment because there is no special legal basis or definition in the current medical system, and they have difficulty in supplying manpower due to frequent job change and retirement. Therefore, this study aimed to find out the effect on job consciousness, job stress, job satisfaction, and turnover intention of caregivers in nursing hospitals for the elderly. Methodology: In this study, a survey was conducted from May 2nd to 16th, 2022, targeting caregivers with more than 6 months of work experience working at 10 nursing hospitals in D City. Data were collected through convenience sampling, and a self-administered questionnaire method was used, in which subjects filled out a questionnaire. A total of 240 questionnaires were distributed, and 220 copies were considered for the final analysis after excluding non-response or inappropriate questionnaires for data use. Data analysis used t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis, and the main results are as follows. Findings: Job stress and job satisfaction showed a significant correlation with the level of turnover intention, and were also found to be major determinants. On the other hand, among the occupational characteristics of the study subjects, employment type, job motivation, service period, number of patients, injury experience, and license status showed a significant difference from turnover intention. Conclusion: As a result of the above research, in order to prevent job turnover and retirement by improving job stress and job satisfaction of caregivers engaged in nursing hospitals, it is necessary not only to legalize caregivers, but also to secure an appropriate level of caregivers for nursing hospitals and improve specific treatment for caregivers. Ultimately, a policy alternative that can provide quality nursing service is required.

사무직 근로자들의 스트레스와 피로와 관련된 사회 인구학적, 생활습관 및 직업적 요인 (Socio-demographic, Life Style and Work related Factors Associated with Stress and Fatigue of White Collar Workers)

  • Objectives: The research was conducted to evaluate the socio-demographic, life style and work related factors of stress and fatigue, and correlation between them in the white collar workers. Methods: This study was targeted on white collar workers of medium-sized company in Kimhae city including 249 people; 167 of males, 82 of females. The data was collected by structured questionnaires and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS 12.0. Result: Both stress and fatigue levels were higher for female of gender, 20s of age, single of marital status in socio-demographic factors. The stress level was higher for current smokers and lower frequency of regular exercise per week, and both stress and fatigue levels were higher for unsatisfied sleeping in lifestyle factors. The stress level was lower for 5-day workweek system and experience of downsizing, and both stress and fatigue levels were higher far lower period of employment in work related factors. The correlation coefficient(r) between stress and fatigue level was 0.578, which was highly statistically significant. According to stepwise multiple regression analysis, factors affecting stress were unsatisfied sleeping, female and lower frequency of regular exercise per week, and those affecting fatigue were younger age and unsatisfied sleeping. Conclusion: This study provided strong support for associations between stress and fatigue, and we suggest that modifiable factors such as regular exercise and satisfied sleeping would be important for white collar workers to reduce their stress and fatigue.

전문대학생의 아르바이트 경험과 사회적 지지, 자아탄력성이 진로스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The effect of Part-time job experience, Social Support, and Ego-Resilience on Career Stress in College students)

  • 전문대학생들의 진로스트레스는 최근 취업의 어려움과 더불어 더욱 심각하게 나타나는 문제로 다양한 관리가 필요하다. 이러한 진로스트레스 관리 방안을 고려해보고자 본 연구에서는 전문대학생들의 아르바이트 경험 유무, 자아탄력성, 사회적 지지가 진로스트레스에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전문대학생 457명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 다중회귀분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과는 첫째 아르바이트 경험 유무에 따른 자아탄력성, 사회적 지지, 진로스트레스에 차이는 없었다. 다만 진로스트레스의 하위영역 중 고용압력은 아르바이트 경험이 있는 대학생들이 아르바이트 경험이 없는 대학생에 비해 높았다. 둘째, 아르바이트 경험 유무는 진로스트레스에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 아르바이트 경험이 없는 대학생이 아르바이트 경험이 있는 대학생에 비해 진로스트레스가 높게 나타났다. 셋째 사회적 지지가 진로스트레스에 미치는 효과는 아르바이트 경험이 있는 대학생에 비해 아르바이트 경험이 없는 대학생에게 더 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 넷째 자아탄력성은 진로스트레스에 미치는 효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 다만 아르바이트 경험 유무와 성별 간에는 상호작용효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 기초하여 진로스트레스를 감소시키기 위해서는 아르바이트 경험이 없는 대학생에게는 사회적 지지를 통한 상담관리방안과 여학생에게는 자아탄력성을 향상시킬 수 있는 프로그램을 제안한다.

도시주부의 스트레스와 가정관리 행동유형과의 관계 (The Relationship of urban Homemaker's Stress and Home Management Behavioral patterns)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between the homemaker's stress and their home management behavioral patterns in Money and Time focusing on the Morphogenic & Morphostatic. This research aimed to ' 1) Identify the overall tendency of homemaker's stress & home management behavioral patterns 2) Find out if socio-demographic variables(ie. age of homemakers, level of education, duration of marriage, umber of children, homemaker's employment, socioeconomic status) have significant effects on homemaker's stress and their home management behavioral patterns, 3)Identify the correlation between homemakers' stress and home management behavioral patterns. 4) Find out variables which have independently significant effect on home management behavioral patterns. For these purpose, this research conducted a survey by using questionnaire developed by former researchers. The subjects of this study are 500 homemakers living in Kwangju who have at least one child. The data analyzed occording to frequency, percentage, mean , one-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test. Pearson's correlation and multiple regression. The main findings are as follows; 1) General tendency of the stress level percepted by the homemakers is relatively low 2) socio-demographic variables have significant effects on the stress of homemakers. Among them only homemaker's age. the number of children and socio-economic status have influe d on the stress of urban homemakers. In each area, there are differences among groups; homemaker's age, durations of marriage, number of children in the area of family; age, number of children, socio-economic status in th area of health; age. durations of marriage. number of children, socio-economic status in the area of finance; socio-economic status in the area of household work. 3) General tendency of homemakers behavioral patterns is some what morphostatic. 4)socio-demographic variables have significant effects on the behavioral patterns of home management, a)Homemaker's age, the level of education, socio-economic status is a variable to have influences on home management behavioral patterns of the Money. b)The age homemakers is a variable to have influences on home management behavioral patterns of the time. c)The age of homemakers, duration of marriage is a variable to have influences on the home management behavioral patters of the resources. 5)There are positive relationship between homemaker's stress and home management behavioral patterns . The higher level of stress , the more morphogenic home management behavioral patterns . 6)Influential variables related to management behavioral patterns are homemaker's age, the level of stress, socio-economic status.

기혼 중년 남성의 직업스트레스, 직업 안정성, 우울, 가족유대감, 주관적 건강상태, 사회적 지지가 삶의 질에 미치는 영향에 대한 융합적 연구 (A Converged Study about Influences of Job Stress, Job Security, Depression, Family Bond, Subjective Health Status, Social Support on Quality of Life in Married Middle-Aged Male)

  • 본 연구는 기혼 중년 남성의 직업 스트레스, 직업 안정성, 우울, 가족유대감, 주관적 건강상태, 사회적 지지가 삶의 질에 미치는 영향요인을 알아보고자 하는 서술적 조사연구이다. 대상자는 B광역시, D광역시, J시에 거주하는 40~59세 중년 남성 149명의 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였고 SPSS/WIN 18.0프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 삶의 질과 직업 스트레스(r=-.544, p<.001)과는 보통의 역 상관관계, 우울(r=-.748, p<.001)과는 높은 역 상관관계, 직업 안정성(r=.566, p<.001), 주관적 건강상태(r=.537, p<.001)과는 보통의 순 상관관계, 가족유대감(r=.712, p<.001), 사회적 지지(r=.739, p<.001)과는 높은 순 상관관계를 나타냈다. 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인은 우울, 사회적 지지, 가족유대감, 주관적 건강상태, 현 직종의 근무년수, 규칙적인 운동여부 순으로, 전체 설명력은 75.1%로 나타났다. 따라서, 질적인 중년기 삶을 영위하기 위해 우울은 낮추고 사회적 지지 체계의 확충 및 가족유대감과 주관적 건강상태 증진, 현 직종에서의 근무년수를 높이기 위한 방안이 필요하다.

보건계열 대학생의 자아존중감과 스트레스 대처방안 (Self-Esteem and Stress-Coping Strategies of the College Students in the Department of Public Health)

  • 본 연구는 보건계열 대학에 재학 중인 대학생의 자아존중감, 스트레스 대처방안 간의 관계를 파악하여 학교생활과 진로지도에 관한 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 시도하였다. 호남지역에 위치한 6개의 보건계열 학과에 재학중이며, 연구 참여에 동의한 대학생 244명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 자료수집은 자아존중감과 스트레스대처 방식을 포함한 구조화된 설문지를 활용하여 자기기입식 응답법으로 2008년 11월 1일부터 12월 21일까지 하였다. 연구결과는 일반적 특성들 중 자아존중감과는 종교가 있는 경우와 교우관계가 매우 원만한 경우에 높은것으로 나왔으며, 적극적 스트레스 대처방안과는 학년과 어머니의 교육정도가 높을수록, 소극적 스트레스 대처방안과는 종교가 있는 경우와 군지역에 거주하는 경우에 적극 활용한 것으로 나왔다. 적극적 스트레스대처(문제중심과 사회적 지지)가 잘 될수록 자아존중감이 높으며, 소극적 대처(정서완화와 소망대처)가 잘 될수록 자아존중감이 높은 것으로 나와, 대학생들의 전반적인 스트레스 대처방안이 높을수록 자아존중감이 높음을 나타냈다. 결론적으로 보건계열 대학생들이 학업과 실습, 취업 등에 대한 스트레스 대처방안을 모색 할 있도록 자아존중감 향상 커리큐럼을 대학 정규 교육과정에 마련하고 학생 상호간의 유대관계 향상과 지도교수와 학생간의 정서적 교류체계를 형성할 수 있는 프로그램이 대학생활 적응에 도움이 되리라 사려된다.

교정시설 종사자의 직무소진 영향 요인 (Determinants influencing on the Burnout of correctional workers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 교정시설 종사자들의 소진에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국법무보호복지공단에 근무하는 종사자들을 대상으로 2018년 2월에 설문을 실시하였으며, 290명의 자료가 최종분석에 포함되었다. 소진에 미치는 요인들을 탐색하기 위하여 개인적 특성, 직무관련 특성, 직무스트레스, 대인관계 스트레스 요인을 주요변수로 구성하였다. 주요변수 측정을 위해 소진은 Baslach 소진척도를 사용하였으며, 직무와 대인관계 스트레스는 한국판 직무스트레스 척도(KOSS)와 한국판 대인관계 스트레스 척도(KIRS)를 사용하였다. 소진에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 기술분석, 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 상관분석 결과 척도 간 서로 통계적으로 유의미한 상관(p<.01)이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 최종 모형에 따라 소진에 대한 상대적 영향력을 비교하였을 때, 직무 스트레스(직무요구 ${\beta}=.308$, p<.001, 직무자율 ${\beta}=.124$, p<.001, 관계갈등 ${\beta}=.169$, p<.001), 대인관계 스트레스(상사와 관계 ${\beta}=.402$, p<.001, 보호대상자와 관계 ${\beta}=.155$, p<.01), 개인적 특성(성별 ${\beta}=.173$, p<.01) 순으로 나타났다. 4가지 모형을 비교한 결과 개인적 특성과 직무관련 특성이 소진에 영향을 미치지만 높은 직무스트레스와 대인관계 스트레스로 인해 더 높은 소진을 경험하는 것을 의미한다. 연구결과를 기반으로 교정시설 종사자들의 소진을 낮추기 위한 제언과 연구의 한계점을 제시하였다.

Farmers' Perceptions and Knowledge of Cattle Adaptation to Heat Stress and Tick Resistance in the Eastern Cape, South Africa

  • The objective of this study was to determine the perceptions and knowledge of farmers of heat stress and tick resistance in cattle. A cross-sectional survey was conducted and 110 farmers in four villages in the sour and sweet velds of the Eastern Cape Province, South Africa were interviewed. The associations among area (municipality), gender, age, level of education, employment and religion were computed using Chi-square tests. The majority of the respondents had on average 4 bulls, 4 cows, 4 heifers, 4 calves, and 4 oxen. Milk was considered as the major (28.3%) reason for keeping cattle. Most farmers owned non-descript (72.6%), and Nguni (45.3%) cattle because of their heat tolerance (54.7%), tick resistance (54.7%), and milking ability (28.2%) traits. Excessive panting (56.6%) and disease transmission (76%) were regarded as the major effects of heat stress and tick infestation in cattle, respectively. About 50% of the respondents agreed that hair length influences tick resistance and 47.17% considered coat colour when acquiring cattle. In the sampled areas, ticks were prevalent in the summer season (93%), and 77.36% of the respondents use acaricides every fortnight. Gall sickness was reported to be a major problem in the cattle herds by 36.79% of the respondents. Our results showed that farmers in the two municipalities had knowledge of cattle adaptation to heat stress and tick resistance.

학교와 부모를 통한 소비자사회화가 청소년 및 대학생소비자의 충동구매행동에 미치는 영향: 랜덤효과 모형 (Consumer Socialization on Adolescent Impulsive Buying Behavior through School and Parents: A Random Effects Model)

  • This study examines the effects of consumer socialization on Korean adolescent impulsive buying behavior. The current study used the third and sixth waves from the Korean Education and Employment Panel (KEEP) survey that has been administered by the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training since 2004. The subjects were high school juniors and university sophomores in 2006 and 2009, respectively. The final sample for panel regression analysis included 1,718 individuals. Two major agents of socialization (school and parents) were utilized in our model. Parent financial behavior (if the parents had savings) and the effectiveness/helpfulness of economics education in middle or high school were included in our estimation model. Two categories were included as individual factors: (1) psychological aspects and personal traits covering variables such as stress from self-image, academic stress, self-regulation, and a tendency of risky behavior and (2) financial behavior and attitudes, which include work experience, amount of money in hand, shopping habits, and if parental financial support is expected after high school graduation. The results from a random effects model revealed that the effects of consumer socialization through school was marginally significant, while through parents was not. Stress from self-image and the level of self-regulation were found to be significant. Neither risky behavior nor academic stress were a significant factor for impulsive buying behavior. The amount of money available in hand and shopping habits showed a significant influence. Implications for educators, parents and policy makers are identified.
