20대 청년세대에 관한 연구 동향 분석 (Investigating the Trends of Research for the Age of Youth at 20s)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 토픽 모델링과 주제어 네트워크 분석방법을 활용하여, 20대 청년세대에 관한 연구동향을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 지난 10년간 국내에서 20대 청년을 대상으로 발표한 학술논문 530편을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 핵심 주제어는 '소득', '프로그램', '창업', '문화'였고, 6개의 토픽(취업 지원 서비스, 가치관, 불안정한 삶, 정부 지원 정책, 종교관, 창업 지원 서비스)이 도출되었다. 또한, 연구를 통해 20대 청년세대는 높은 디지털 기술 효용감, 효율적인 디지털 정보의 소비 추구, 의미 전복적이고 심미적인 소비패턴, 자신의 정체성을 온라인 세계에서 찾고, 현실을 지향하는 모습을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 분석 결과를 토대로, 세대 간 가치관 격차, 지역간 발전의 불균형 문제, 소득 불평등의 주요 양극화 문제를 제기하였고, 향후 대안적 정책으로 단편적이고 일회성에 그치는 미봉책이 아닌, 장기적으로 지속성 있는 20대 청년세대 문제 해결책을 제시해야 한다는 점을 제안하였다.

Validating the Entrepreneurial Intention Model on the University Students in Saudi Arabia

  • The main objective of this paper is to examine the applicability of Linan and Chen's entrepreneurial intention model (EIM) in predicting the entrepreneurial intention. EIM is an adaptation of the Theory of Planned Behavior that focuses on entrepreneurial intention and hypothesizing slightly different patterns of relationship with regards to subjective norms. The model also includes human capital and demographic factors. Snowball sampling method was used to collect data using the entrepreneurial intention questionnaire (EIQ) through several social media platforms. The survey indicates that the overall entrepreneurial intention of Saudi students is high (mean = 5.41). Eight out of the seventeen hypothesized relationships were found to be significant. Among the demographic variables, gender-personal attitude was significant whereas self employment experience and years of business education were found to be significantly related with perceived behavioral control. The statistical analysis using partial least square structural equation modelling validated the model. All the three antecedents of entrepreneurial intention were significantly related with entrepreneurial intention. The results of this study will help policy makers to get deep understanding into the phenomenon of entrepreneurship among Saudi university students and thereby develop a conducive environment. This study also validates the entrepreneurial intention model in a different cultural context.

한국 장년 성인의 과체중 예방을 위한 식생활 간이평가표 개발 (The Development of a Simple Evaluation Questionnaire for Screening the Overweight-type Dietary Pattern in 30 to 49 Year Old Adults)

  • A study was performed to develop as a screening tool the Simple Evaluation Questionnaire for Screening the Over-weight-type Dietary Pattern in 30 to 49 Year Old Adults. We used the data from the 30 to 49 year old subjects who participated in the three surveys - the health behavior survey, the dietary habit survey and the food intake survey - as the National Health and Nutrition Survey 1998. The 3,598 adults were classified into to two body fatness groups of normal (including underweight) and overweight (including obese) on the basis of their relative body weight (RBW) When comparing variables between the two groups, significant differences were found in gender, education, job, employment status, perceived health status, sadness / depression state, stress level, age, number of diseases, age when overweightedness started, maximum body weight, sleep length, drinking pattern (yes/no) , amount of alcoholic drinks, frequency of intoxication or drunkeness, amount of alcoholic drinks when drunk, intensity of exercise, frequency of exercise, exercise duration, skipped meals, small meals and drug supplements. In terms of food intake, there were significant differences in the daily food intake in terms of breakfast, dinner, daily kimchi and dairy products. In terms of mealtimes, we found differences in the amount of cooked rice at breakfast, kimchi at lunch, soup / kuk at dinner, fresh vegetables for snacks, fried foods for snacks between breakfast and lunch, and fruits /juices for snacks between lunch and dinner. After developing questions with indicators and analyzing the indicators by logistic regression analysis three times, we chose 10 questions for a simple evaluation of dietary patterns for the overweight-type category in order to give one point each. Among them we selected two questions to add one additional point and one question to add two additional points. The average scores of the overweight and normal groups, as shown by the developed questionnaire, were $5.97 \pm 2.36 \pm 7.36 \pm 2.21$, respectively. A score of seven points was selected as the cut-off point. We examined the sensitivity, specificity and positive predictive value of the questionnaire to the results of 67%, 59% and 62%, respectively.

Difficulties Faced by Working Mothers and Potential Solutions to these Problems: A Survey of Nursing Personnel in a Korean Teaching Hospital

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify difficulties that working mothers face and solutions to the identified problems. Methods: The study design was a cross-sectional, descriptive survey. A survey with 8 items rated on a 5-point scale (1~5) and 5 open-ended questions was administered to 48 married nurses and nurse aides working in 5 nursing units of a teaching hospital in South Korea in April 2013. Results: The score of satisfaction with childrearing patterns (mean=$3.31{\pm}0.79$) was higher than that of satisfaction with spousal support (mean=$3.08{\pm}0.85$). The score of working mother's turnover intention (mean=$2.40{\pm}1.03$) was lowest among the 8 items, but partners did not want their wives to quit work (mean=$3.60{\pm}1.22$). Satisfaction with company employment benefits for childrearing (mean=$2.90{\pm}0.72$) had the lowest score among the 4 satisfaction types analyzed. The turnover intention and satisfactions with childrearing (r=-.51, p<.001), spousal support (r=-.43, p=.002), supervisor's support (r=-.36, p=.013), and company benefits (r=-.37, p=.009) showed significant negative correlations. Conclusion: According to these results, familial support for childrearing is highly correlated with employed mothers' turnover intention. So improvement of familial support for childrearing will reduce married nurses' turnover intention. In addition, well-organized nursery facilities are recommended for enabling working mothers to continue their careers. Furthermore, more family-friendly welfare policies such as a flextime systems or compulsory paternity leave should be reinforced in the workplace.

중고령자 근로에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 비교사회정책학적 연구 (A comparative social policy study on determinants of work of old adults)

  • 이 연구는 중고령자의 근로여부와 근로시간 선호에 영향을 미치는 요인을 국가비교적 관점에서 경험적으로 분석하였으며, 특히 계층효과, 일에 대한 관점, 노동시장 구조의 배출효과와 사회보장제도 등의 유인요인 효과 등의 가설을 검증하기 위해 국제인식조사자료를 이용하여 18개국에 대한 다층분석을 수행하였다. 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 계층과 관계없이 대다수의 고령자들이 일하기를 원하며, 따라서 대다수 중고령자의 비근로는 일을 하지 않으려는 자발적인 선택이 아닐 수 있는 가능성을 보여준다. 둘째, 55-64세 집단에 있어서는 계층이 높을수록 일을 계속할 가능성이 높은 계층간 불평등이 발견되었다. 셋째, 근로여부와 근로시간 선호는 사회보장제도의 관대성보다는 시간제 근로비중 등 고령자에게 적합한 유연한 일자리가 제공되느냐에 더 영향을 받음을 확인하였다. 결론적으로, 적어도 국가 비교적 관점에서 볼 때 고령자 근로의 핵심적인 문제는 노동공급측의 문제(즉 고령자의 근로의욕)라기보다는 노동수요측의 문제, 퇴직 유인의 문제보다는 일자리 상황과 구조의 문제라고 보여진다.

취업 정신장애인의 직업 유지 과정: 근거이론적용 (Job Retention Process among Working People with Mental Illness: A Grounded Theory Approach)

  • Purpose: The study was conducted to explore the experiences of job retention among working people with mental illness. Methods: The participants were members with mental illness at the S Community Mental Health Center in Gyeonggi Province and who had been working for more than six months. The data were collected through in-depth interviews with 11 participants between June 27 and August 20, 2018. The data were analyzed through Corbin and Strauss's grounded theory method. Results: The core category was struggling to take root in the community as a productive member. The core phenomenon was the desire to be a productive person, and the causal condition was the willingness to change for a purposeful life. The action and interaction strategies included maintaining regular living patterns, maintaining medication, developing one's tips for self-management, and self-approval. The intervening conditions were difficulties in forming social relationships, presence of symptoms, social resources, and acceptance of one's mental illness. The consequences were restoration of family relationships, healthy pleasure through work, social inclusion, development of self-worth, and transition to an independent person. Conclusion: Working people with mental illness are struggling to take root in the community as a productive member. This study suggests that a holistic understanding of the job retention experience among people with mental illness is required. The findings will provide the basis for developing interventions that can improve job retention among working people with mental illness.

과학기술 분야 박사학위자의 직업다변화 및 결정요인 분석 (Occupational Diversification of Doctorates in Science and Technology)

  • 한국에서 전통적인 과학기술인력 직업군의 경계는 빠른 속도로 허물어지고 있다. 한편으로는 지식기반경제의 등장과 확장으로 과학기술이 전통적 활용영역을 넘어 확산됨에 따라 과학기술인력 역시 다양한 융합분야로 진출하고 있으며, 동시에 고학력 인구의 비중에 비해 고급 직종의 비중이 상대적으로 낮은 데에서 기인한 하향취업이 그러한 경향을 가속화시킨다. 이 논문에서는 박사급 이공계 인력에 초점을 맞추어 직업구성의 변화 추이를 살펴보고 그 결정요인을 실증적으로 분석하고자 한다. 구체적으로, 관련 직종을 전통적 과학기술직업군과 기타 직업군으로 나누어 그 비중의 변화를 도출하며, 이러한 직업구조의 변화에 대한 영향요인을 분석한다. 분석에는 과학기술정책연구원의 '2012 박사인력활동조사' 데이터를 활용하였다. 분석 결과는 이공계 박사인력의 직업구성에 뚜렷한 변화가 일어나고 있음을 보여준다. 직업다변화는 공학보다는 이학 분야에서, 공공보다는 민간 분야에서, 그리고 신규 세대일수록 더 빠르게 진행되고 있었다.

Investigating the Impact of Organizational Commitment on the Financial Performance in Indian Banking Sector

  • Organizational commitment (OC) is one of the most important attitudes and/or organizational variables. It is one of the important factors for increasing organizational performance and consequently it has a significant impact on productivity enhancement. Study of behavior in the workplace due to the great importance of manpower compared to other resources within the organization is of great importance too. OC is a psychological state which represents kind of desire, a need and a requirement for continuing employment in an organization. It is considered as one of the most influential factors in getting success and competitive advantage in today's organizations. Investigating effect of financial and non-financial variables on financial performance for a long-term has engaged the minds of researchers. Intensification of competition in markets has increased importance of recognizing competitive advantage patterns and their effect on financial performance (FP).This research conducted to provide a better understanding for people as well as for aggregation of a research subject OC and FP is compared in Indian banking sector by taking sample of 2 public and two private banks the correlation between the OC and FP and the results included a positive and significant correlation. Desired FP to increase wealth is an essential and obvious issue. According to the issued subjects, today, commitments and their impact on FP of companies have become increasingly important. In Indian banks the correlation between the OC & FP were found significant.

성남시 소재 초등학교 저학년에서 아토피 피부염 환자군과 대조군의 식생활 비교 (Comparison of Dietary Behavior between Atopic Dermatitis Patients and Controls in Elementary School Students Living in the Sung-nam Area)

  • The prevalence of atopic dermatitis (AD) in children has increased dramatically in recent years. Although AD has genetic determinants, this rapid increase is most likely due to changes in environmental influences--for example, dietary changes. The purpose of this case-control study was to assess the relationship between the risk of developing AD and dietary factors, including eating habits, food intake, and the consumption of various functional foods in children at ages of 7 or 8 years. 143 AD patients and 335 healthy children participated in this study. A mini-dietary assessment was utilized to evaluate the food intake and dietary patterns of the children, and other information, including demographic and socioeconomic characteristics, eating habits, and the frequency of functional food use was collected using a questionnaire. The results demonstrated that, among the demographic and socioeconomic factors assessed in this study, female gender, mother's employment, and the family history of AD significantly increased the risk of AD. However, no differences in dietary habits and specific food intake between AD patients and healthy controls were identified. On the other hand, the frequencies of taking multivitamin supplements, Spirulina, or gamma-linoleic acid were significantly higher in AD patients than in the controls. These data indicate that alterations in eating habits and the intake of certain foods may not be a critical cause associated with the risk of AD in school-age children, and caution should be taken in recommending food elimination diets for the purpose of preventing AD. Further studies are required in order to determine whether the intake of specific nutrients could contribute to the increase or prevention of the development of AD in school-age children.

서울시 지하철역 주변 환경이 고령자의 통행량에 미치는 영향 분석: COVID-19 기간을 중심으로 (An Analysis of the Impact of the Surrounding Environment of Subway Stations on Elderly's Subway Use in Seoul during the COVID-19 Pandemic)

  • 코로나바이러스감염증-19(COVID-19) 유행은 우리 사회에 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 고령자의 경우 COVID-19에 취약하고 통행 제약이 크므로, 지하철의 교통카드 자료를 이용해 COVID-19가 역별 고령자의 통행량에 미친 영향을 연구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 COVID-19 발생 전후 3개년간의 고령자 하차통행량과 지하철역 주변 환경 관련 변수 사이에 다중선형회귀분석을 시행하여 서로 비교하였다. 분석 기간 전체에서 지하철 환승 노선 수, 하천 유무, 전통시장 면적, 한방병의원 수, 문화시설 수, 대형상업시설 수 등이 고령자의 통행량에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, COVID-19 이후 대중교통 관련 변수와 종사자 수, 실내 여가시설의 영향은 감소하고 야외 시설, 전통문화 관련 시설의 영향은 더 커지는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 결과는 서울시 고령자의 통행에 팬데믹으로 인해 분명한 변화가 있었음을 시사하며, 향후 고령자에게 더 안전하고 접근성 있는 환경을 만들 근거가 될 것으로 보인다.
