수도권 주부의 취업유무에 따른 가사작업수행과 코하우징 요구의 차이 (Housework Performance and Difference of Cohousing Need Depending on the Housewife's Employment Status in the Metropolitan area)

  • The purposed of this research was to suggest a basic material of Korean-typed cohousing plan for a dual-income family by examining the difference of cohousing residing environment needs. Selecting Employed and unemployed housewives as this research's subject, the following results were drawn from the analysis between the two groups. 1) The housewives takes responsibility of the household works regardless of whether or not they are employed. Also, more than half of employed housewives stated that the time of nursery facilities was shorter than their needs and that they favored a nursery facility located inside the residential area. 2) The most meaningful difference of cohousing residing environment needs was the demand for sharing household work in terms of cohousing need of the subjects. The desirable cohousing area is the suburbs of the metropolitan areas and the preferable resident organization is need to be organized by people sharing the same goal through an announcement. 3) The need of cohousing and residence intention were generally low, but the employed housewives' need was higher than the unemployed ones.

도시 취업주부 가계의 가족체계역동성 및 경제복지감 (A Study of Urban Employed Housewives' Dynamics of Family System and Their Economic Well-Being)

  • We analyzed the dynamics of the family system and the economic well-being by utilizing the socio-demographic objective economic and subjective economic factors of urban employed housewives. The survey was conducted in Seoul and three other major cities. The subjects consisted of employed housewives in these areas who were currently cohabiting with their spouses and had at least one child. The preliminary and main survey questionnaires were distributed between November 12, 2001 and February 27, 2002, and 254 survey questionnaires were collected and analyzed We applied the frequency, average, percentage, Cronbach's $\alpha$, simple regression and multiple regression analysis by using SPSS/PC WIN. The findings were as follows. First, the mean score of the availability of life information was 3.21. Second, when the stability of husband occupation increased, the dynamics of family system worked very well. Third, the dynamics of family system didn't have any influence on the economic well-being.

도시취업자의 세대간 직업이동과 세대내 이동 (Inter-and Intragenerational Occupational Mobility in Korea)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국노동연구원 패널조사(KLIPS)의 1차년도 자료를 이용해서 자녀의 최초 직업 및 현재 직업귀속을 결정하는 데 부모의 직업이 어떠한 영향을 미치고, 최초 직업이 현재의 직업귀속에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 다항로짓분석을 이용해 살펴봄으로써 세대간 직업이동과 세내내 이동에 대해 분석하였다. 이 연구를 통해 세대간 직업이동에서 교육이 중요한 매개변수로 작용한다는 점, 각 직업집단마다 정도는 다르지만 현재의 직업귀속에 최초의 직업선택이 상당한 영향을 미친다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 직업집단간 이동의 가능성이 어려운 정도로부터 고용주, 자영자 일부(상층), 사무직, 자영자 일부(하층), 생산직의 순으로 도시취업자 내부에 서열이 나타난다는 시사점을 얻었다. 정책적인 합의와 관련해서는 이미 세대간 직업이동에서 교육이 중요한 매개변수로 작용하고 있다는 점에서 사회이동을 활성화하기 위해서는 교육기회가 직업집단간에 달라지지 않도록 하는 방향으로 정책이 개발되어야 한다는 점을 발견할 수 있었다.

대학생의 취업여부별 시간사용과 시간부족감의 성차 분석 (A Comparison of Time Use and Time Famine for Male and Female Employed and Unemployed College Students)

  • This study was aimed at exploring the differences in time use and time famine among college students ages 18 to 29, with a focus on gender and employment status, and to investigate the determinants of time famine. Data were from the 2014 Time Use Survey by the Korea National Statistical Office. Descriptive statistics, chi-square test, t-test, and logistic regression were used for the statistical analyses. The major findings are as follows. First, the employed spend significantly more time on work and less time studying than the unemployed, and females spend significantly more time on household work and less time on leisure than males. Second, employed students had higher levels of time famine than unemployed students. Third, irrespective of employment status, the education level of students' parents was identified as a determinant of time famine. Other determinants of time famine were age, job, work, and study time for employed students and gender, income, household work, and leisure time for unemployed students.

Correlation Analysis of Self-employment of Retirees Using Demographic Characteristics of the Retail Establishment

  • Purpose - This study investigated the demographic characteristics of retirees who sought not to be reemployed or join an organization but, instead, to be self-employed. This study verified self-employment by regional and/or educational features to determine the self-employment factors and the policies required. Research design, data, and methodology - Models and hypotheses were used to verify the conversion into self-employment depending on retirees' demographic characteristics. This study investigated regions according to precedent studies and used SPSS 18.0 as follows. First, frequency was used to investigate the general characteristics. Second, a factor correlation analysis was done. Results - Hypothesis 1, which stated that, "retirees with low educational background often start a self-employed business," was significant. Hypothesis 2, which stated that, "retirees in metropolitan areas frequently start a self-employed business," was significant. Hypothesis 3, which stated that, "retirees in a megalopolis frequently start a self-employed business," was significant. Conclusions - A preliminary startup education was needed to lessen the losses. Retirees should have preliminary knowledge of actual self-employment conditions to be given a startup education.

어머니의 성역할 태도가 딸에게 미치는 영향 (A Study on Sex Role Attitude by mother's)

  • The object of this study was to examine the sex role attitudes of the housewives(mothers) and daughters in Seoul, and whether mother sex role attitude had influence on her daughter's and the sociodemographic variables of mother had an effect on her daughter sex role attitude or not. Questionnaire was given to randomly selected mothers and daughters in Seoul in sept., 1983. Data from the 384 responses was analyzed by percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, F-test and t-test . It was found that; 1) Generally, the housewives in Seoul had traditional sex role attitudes. 2) the housewives who were educated the high level, paied the higher salary and employed in professional job had the moderner sex role attitudes, age, religion, employed or unemployed were not variables to have influence on the mother sex role attitude. 3) The adolescent daughters in Seoul had moderner sex role attitude than that if their mothers. 4) Mother sex role attitude had influence on the daughter's 5) The daughter sex role attitude was influenced by the mother's sociodemographic variables. The daughter sex role attitude brought up form the mother who was educated the higher level and employed in professional job was modern. But mother's age, religion and employed or unemployed had little influence on the daughter sex role attitude.

취업여성 노동력의 효율적 활용를 위한 기초연구 -주부의 취업에 대한 가족태도와 주부의 취업지위에 영향을 미치는 요인분석 (A Preliminary Study on the Efficient Utilization of Employed Women's Labor Forces -the Employment Status of Married Women and its Determinants Focused on the Family's Attitudes)

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest some ways to utilize effectively the labor forces of employed women. For this purpose, this stud\ulcorner examined the family’s attitudes toward the work of married women and the effects of determinants including personal characteristics, household related variables, work related variables and family’s attitudes toward the work of married women on the employment status of married women. KLFI(1995)’s National data were used and one Logistic model and one Calmed model were employed to analyze the efficients of the independent variables. The resets of this study were as follows. The family’s attitudes toward the work of married women among the employed women was highly positive and the one toward the unemployment among the unemployed women was positive too. The variables having significant effects on the husbands’attitudes and the parents(parents in law)’attitudes toward the work of married women were different. The family’s altitudes had a very significant effect on the employment status of married women. Also, the financial situation of the household and some difficulties to find proper house keepers or child care types were important variables to predict the employment status of married women.

  • A new control method of spindle induction motor drive is proposed in this paper. In a conventional control method, the vector control was employed in the low speed range, while the constant V/f(volt-per-hertz) PWM control was employed in the high speed range. The two control modes were automatically selected at an intermediate speed. In a proposed control method, the direct vector-control with an encoder is employed in the low speed range(from 0 to 8,000rpm), and the vector control without an encoder is employed in th high speed(from 8,000 to 15,000rpm) by using flux observer and speed estimator. This paper describes problem of control method in a conventional spindle induction motor drive and proposes contort method as variation of motor speed.

취업정신장애인의 작업환경과 심리적 임파워먼트가 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Working Environments and Psychological Empowerment of the Employed People with Mental Illness on Job Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 취업정신장애인의 작업환경과 심리적 임파워먼트가 이들의 직무만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는지 파악하는데 있다. 이를 위해 경쟁고용 사업체에서 일하고 있는 취업정신장애인 326명을 대상으로 연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과, 심리적 임파워먼트, 상사의 지원, 참여적 풍토, 보상체계의 순으로 취업정신장애인의 직무만족을 가장 잘 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 처음으로 정신장애인의 특성을 고려하여 심리적 작업환경을 다루었다는 점에 의의가 있다. 또한 심리적 임파워먼트 개념이 일반인근로자 뿐 아니라 정신장애인에게도 직무만족을 설명하는 가장 중요한 개념임을 실증적으로 제시하였다는 데에도 의미를 부여할 수 있다.

지식경영 전략과 정보기술 역량 간의 적합 관계가 제조기업 혁신에 미치는 영향: 혁신의 공개성 (The Effects of the Fit between Forms of KM Strategy and Types of IT Capability on the Innovations of Manufacturing Firm: Innovation Openness)

  • Purpose This study exploratory investigated the effects of the fit between forms of knowledge management(KM) strategy and types of information technology(IT) capability on the kinds of innovations such as product and process innovations. In this study, the openness of innovations that affects the innovations of a firm is considered. Design/methodology/approach For this empirical study, 104 manufacturing firms' data were finally collected through field survey. For the analysis of the data, cluster analysis and multiple regression analysis were employed. Findings This study demonstrated that when a system-oriented KM strategy is adopted, IT flexibility, which supports the implementation of a system-oriented strategy, is highly employed and utilized. It was also found that under a dynamic KM strategy, both IT integration and IT flexibility are highly employed. For the innovation of a firm, it was found that when a system-oriented strategy is employed and the flexibility of IT is highly adopted, the levels of product innovation are enhanced. Under a dynamic strategy, when the degrees of IT integration and IT flexibility are high, high levels of product and process innovations were empirically found. The impact of innovation openness on the innovations of a firm were partially demonstrated. Finally, the positive impact of the innovations on the improvement of performance in manufacturing firms were demonstrated.
