The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends in researches of public service of the library. The subjects of analysis are a 'Journal of the Korean Society for Library and Information Science', 'Journal of the Korean Library and Information Science Society', 'Journal of the Korean Society for Information Management' an 'Korean Biblia Society for Library and Information Science' ; and the standards of analysis are approach, research method, service delivery stage and service objects. The analysis results are as follows: First, as for the approach, it is consisted of 46(19.4%) normative orientation study, 93(39.2%) empirical orientation study, 64(27.0) practical orientation study and 34(14.5%) others, so it was being carried out empirical orientation study mostly. Second, as for the research method, it was consisted of 94(38.1%) quantitative researches, 123(49.8%) qualitative researches and 30(12.1) others, so it was carried out quantitative researches about 10% more. Third, as for the service delivery stage, while there were 124(35.7%) researches on input stage such as manpower, budget and facilities etc, there were 187(53.9%) researches on result stage such as effects and satisfaction etc, so there were many researches on the result element. Fourth, as for the providers of service objects, there were 211(89.0%) researches on public libraries mainly which exceed much more than other libraries, and as for the recipients, there were 183(77.2%) researches on general users which show overwhelming superiority more than such as children, the elderly and multi-cultural family etc. As the results to analyze the trend in researches on public service of the library during 15 years like above, it was possible to know that it was carried out empirical researches than normative researches and practical researches, and researches for general users of public libraries.
Theoretically, this study reviewed effects that career orientation and entrepreneurial support programs as entrepreneurial support program of participation have on entrepreneurial intention. Based on this review, a research model was made. Then, this study empirically analyzed research hypotheses by classifying universities which establish entrepreneurship courses supported by Small and Medium Business Administration (as of 2006) and ones which do not into Seoul and regions, and business department and engineering department. Results of the empirical analysis were summarized as follows: First, career orientation was not significant in terms of entrepreneurial support program of participation. Second, autonomy orientation, technical competence orientation, managerial competence orientation, and entrepreneurial creativity orientation out of career orientation had significant positive effects on entrepreneurial intention, while security orientation resulted the same significantly positive effects but statistically insignificant. Third, entrepreneurial support program of participation had significant influence on entrepreneurial intention.

The necessity to understand shopping orientation is increasing. Yet, there has been few research that investigated the conceptual structure of clothing shopping orientation[CSO]. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop the conceptual structure of CSO. For that purpose, both documentary and empirical researches were conducted. The documentary research was conducted to develop a theoretical structure model as a basis for exploring the conceptual structure of CSO. The empirical research was conducted to identify and modify the theoretical model so as to develop a conceptual structure model. The data was analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and Pearson's correlation analysis. As a result, a conceptual structure model of CSO was developed. The model consisted of three hierarchical levels of dimensions; upper-dimensions, middle-dimensions and lower-dimensions. The upper-dimensions were composed of 'economic', 'hedonic', and 'convenient' dimensions. Each upper-dimension consisted of middle-dimensions and lower-dimensions. Confirmatory factor analysis was executed to assess the fitness and cross validity of the structure model.

This study aims to develop a concept based on empirical research on improving optimal business performance. This goal is achieved by examining the relationship between variables of entrepreneurial orientation, talent management, market orientation, and business performance. The construction of the relationship between research variables, namely entrepreneurial orientation, talent management, on business performance is mediated by market orientation on handicraft businesses in Indonesia. The sampling method was used to collect data from 145 businessmen in Indonesia, using surveys and questionnaires. Data was collected using a survey technique carried out from June 2020 to December 2020. The data obtained was analyzed using the PLS Pro 19. This study developed 9 hypotheses that were tested directly, indirectly, and through mediation. This study has five findings. First, Entrepreneurship Orientation does not directly affect Business Performance. Second, Entrepreneurship Orientation also has a significant direct effect on Talent Management and market orientation. Third, Talent Management and market orientation have a direct and significant impact on business performance. Fourth, market orientation mediates the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance. Fifth, talent management mediates the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance. The results show that entrepreneurial orientation mediated by talent management and market orientation can improve creative industry business performance for the better.

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to analyze the start-up factors in start-up tourism companies and to analyze how these factors influence business performance. This study will be conducted for the further exploratory study with in-depth research with literature reviews, interviews and surveys. Research design, data, and Methodology - The activation of entrepreneurship is very important factor as for not only the development of entrepreneurship which is the characteristic of the innovative and risks-taking for the success of the enterprise, but also the sustainable growth and creation of performance of the entrepreneur. In other words, if it is the entrepreneurial spirit affects entrepreneurship, it is entrepreneurial orientation that continuously affects entrepreneurs. In order to achieve the above purposes, this study conducted literature research and empirical studies. Result & Conclusions - The sub-factors for independent entrepreneurial variables' orientation are classified as creativity, technological, enterprising, and innovation, and subordinate variables were set of management performance. The sub-factors of the control variable government support policy are classified as financial support, consulting support, and marketing support. For the purpose of empirical analysis, this paper collects data on companies selected for tourism venture business competition and CEOs of SMEs tourism for less than 7 years.

Recently, the role of IT service providers has been enlarged from managing a single function or system to reconstructing entire information management processes in new ways to contribute to shareholder value across the enterprise. This movement toward extensive and complex outsourcing agreements has been driven by the assumption that outsourcing information technology functions is a reliable approach to maximizing resource productivity. Hiring external IT service providers to manage part or all of its information-related services helps a firm focus on its core business and provides better services to its clients, thus obtaining sustainable competitive advantage. This practice of focusing on the strategic aspect of outsourcing is referred to as strategic sourcing where the focus is capability sourcing, not procurement. Given the importance of the strategic outsourcing, however, to our knowledge, there is little empirical research on the relationship between the strategic outsourcing orientation and outsourcing performance. Moreover, there is little research on the factor that makes the strategic outsourcing effective. This study is designed to investigate the relationship between strategic IT outsourcing orientation and IT outsourcing performance and the process through which strategic IT outsourcing orientation influences outsourcing performance, Based on the framework of strategic orientation-performance and core competence based management, this study first identifies core competency orientation as a proper strategic orientation pertinent to IT outsourcing and IT outsourcing process management capability as the mediator to affect IT outsourcing performance. The proposed research model is then tested with a sample of 200 firms. The findings of this study may contribute to the literature in two ways. First, it draws on the strategic orientation - performance framework in developing its research model so that it can provide a new perspective to the well studied phenomena. This perspective allows practitioners and researchers to look at outsourcing from an angle that emphasizes the strategic decision making to outsource its IT functions. Second, by separating the concept of strategic orientation and outsourcing process management capability, this study provides practices with insight into how the strategic orientation can work effectively to achieve an expected result. In addition, the current study provides a basis for future studies that examine the factors affecting IT outsourcing performance with more controllable factors such as IT outsourcing process management capability rather than external hard-to-control factors including trust and relationship management. This study investigates the major factors that determine IT outsourcing success. Based on strategic orientation and core competency theories, we develop the proposed research model to investigate the relationship between core competency orientation and IT outsourcing performance and the mediating role of IT outsourcing process management capability on IT outsourcing performance. The model consists of two independent variables (core-competency-orientation and IT outsourcing process management capability), and two dependent variables (outsourced task complexity and IT outsourcing performance). Comprehensive data collection was conducted through an outsourcing association. The survey data were analyzed using a structural analysis method. IT outsourcing process management capability was found to mediate the effect of core competency orientation on both outsourced task complexity and IT outsourcing performance. Further analysis and findings are discussed.
This study investigate the effects of environmental and organizational characteristics on e-business competence and the influence of e-business competence on export performance in the small and medium sized firms. The development of the research model is based on the literature of e-business and the empirical studies of information technology competence. The data from the survey was analyzed using Partial Least Squares(PLS). The results from the empirical model suggest that e-business competence is affected by environmental uncertainty and market diversity as well as top management support and learning orientation. And, export performance is enhanced by e-business competence.
This study empirically examines the relationship between the career orientations of R&D professionals and their demographic characteristics (age, tenure, and education level), affiliated organizations (public and private organizations), reward systems. It further explores the contingent effects of the career orientation fit between leader and members on their performance. The results reveal that : 1) five different career orientations (technical, manager, project, technical transfer, and entrepreneur) are empirically distinguished, 2) technical orientation of R&D professionals is higher in public in private sectors, 3) technical, project, and manager orientation are positively associated with the education level, while technical transfer and entrepreneur orientation are negatively associated with the education level, 4) manager and technical transfer orientation is positively related with age and tenure, 5) the career orientation fit between leader and member is closely related with job satisfaction and organization commitment, and partially related with technical performance, 6) R&D professionals with different types of career orientation exhibit different preference to various rewards. Based on these findings, this study suggests several practical implications for the design of career ladder, mentoring, and reward systems of R&D professionals.
This study aims to analyze the effects of the characteristics of startups and the role of accelerators on internationalization performance. To achieve this purpose, we collected data from the management of 180 startups promoting overseas expansion. As a result of empirical analysis, it was confirmed that among the characteristics of startups, innovativeness, learning orientation, and global orientation had a significant effect on internationalization performance. In addition, it was confirmed that the role of the accelerator has a positive effect on the internationalization performance.
This study aims to verify the structural relationship among service orientation, employees' satisfaction and business performance primarily on the International Freight Forwarders. For carrying out the study, literature survey relating to service orientation, satisfaction and performance along with empirical analysis was carried out. Results of analyses were found to be as follows: first, International Freight Forwarder's service orientation has had influence on employees' satisfaction second, employees' satisfaction in the freight forwarding companies has had influence on financial performance.
