The proliferation of health misinformation gained momentum amidst the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). People stuck in their homes, without work pressure, regardless of health concerns towards personal, family, or peer groups, consistently demanded information. People became engaged with misinformation while attempting to find health information content. This study used the content analysis method and analyzed 1,154 misinformation stories from four prominent signatories of the International Fact-Checking Network during the pandemic. The study finds the five main categories of misinformation related to the COVID-19 pandemic. These are 1) the severity of the virus, 2) cure, prevention, and treatment, 3) myths and rumors about vaccines, 4) health authorities' guidelines, and 5) personal and social impacts. Various sub-categories supported the content characteristics of these categories. The study also analyzed the emotional valence of health misinformation. It was found that misinformation containing negative sentiments got higher engagement during the pandemic. Positive and neutral sentiment misinformation has less reach. Surprise, fear, and anger/aggressive emotions highly affected people during the pandemic; in general, people and social media users warning people to safeguard themselves from COVID-19 and creating a confusing state were found as the primary motivation behind the propagation of misinformation. The present study offers valuable perspectives on the mechanisms underlying the spread of health-related misinformation amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. It highlights the significance of discerning the accuracy of information and the feelings it conveys in minimizing the adverse effects on the well-being of public health.
Background: Replacement drivers represent a significant portion of platform labor in the Republic of Korea, often facing night shifts and the demands of emotional labor. Research on replacement drivers is limited due to their widespread nature. This study examined the levels of presenteeism and absenteeism among replacement drivers in comparison to those of paid male workers in the Republic of Korea. Methods: This study collected data for replacement drivers and used data from the 6th Korean Working Conditions Survey for paid male workers over the age of 20 years. Propensity score matching was performed to balance the differences between paid workers and replacement drivers. Multivariable logistic regression was used to estimate the adjusted odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence intervals for presenteeism and absenteeism by replacement drivers. Stratified analysis was conducted for age groups, educational levels, income levels, and working hours. The analysis was adjusted for variables including age, education, income, working hours, working days per week, and working duration. Results: Among the 1,417 participants, the prevalence of presenteeism and absenteeism among replacement drivers was 53.6% (n = 210) and 51.3% (n = 201), respectively. The association of presenteeism and absenteeism (adjusted OR [95% CI] = 8.42 [6.36-11.16] and 20.80 [95% CI = 14.60-29.62], respectively) with replacement drivers being significant, with a prominent association among the young age group, high educational, and medium income levels. Conclusion: The results demonstrated that replacement drivers were more significantly associated with presenteeism and absenteeism than paid workers. Further studies are necessary to establish a strategy to decrease the risk factors among replacement drivers.
Recently, as the number of female players has increased rapidly, the electronic gaming industry has begun to look at ways to appeal to the largely untapped female market. According to the latest game market investigative report by China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), the total number of game players in China increased by 24.8% in 2009, reached 69,130,000 people, and 38.9% of them are female players. This growth in the number of female player is corroborated by a series of investigative reports from IResearch Company in Shanghai, China: from 2003 to 2009, the number of female players grew from 8% to more than 49%. Therefore, no matter how much attention the game production companies have given to male players or how they have ignored the female players before, the companies would be sensible to face up this reality and adjust their marketing policy a bit more. This article analyzes gender preferences in video games which shows that male players are more likely to be attracted to elements of aggression, violence, competition and fast action in electronic game-playing, while female players are drawn to emotional and social aspects of the games such as an understanding of character relationships. The literatures cited indicates that female players also show apparent preference for games with familiar environments, games that allow players to work together, games that have more than one way to win, and games in which characters do not die. It also discusses the characteristics of female-friendly games from the aspect of emotion, pointing out that the simulation games involving pet, dressing-up, and social simulation games are very popular with female players. Because these are the most suitable game types to fill with emotions of love, share, jealousy, superiority, mystery, these are absolutely attractive to female players. Finally, in accord with the above, I propose some principles of designing female-oriented games, including presenting a good-looking leading character, making the story interesting with "live" NPCs(Non-Playing Characters), and finding ways to satisfy female nature instincts such as taking care of others and the inborn interest of classifying and selecting.
This study, to investigate the job burnout and coping behaviors that clinical dental hygienists feel in the work process, has collected 322 clinical dental hygienists working in Daegu, Kyungbuk province, and Ulsan and had a conclusion as follows. 1. The average of area job burnout and coping behaviors were as follows; emotional burnout, 3.26, cynical manners, 2.63, the declination of job efficiency, 2.58, the total average, 2.82. 2. The average of area were as follows; active coping, 3.36, passive coping, 2.95, and the total average, 3.19. 3. The difference of job burnout relating to general characteristics was shown that the lower education level and age they were in, the significantly higher the declination of job efficiency and burnout area were. The unmarried had significantly higher points at cynical manners, the declination of job efficiency and burnout. Besides, the introspective had significantly higher points at emotional exhaustion, cynical manners, and burnout area. 4. The difference of job burnout related to working circumstance was shown that those with short working experience and those in charge of the general treatment showed significantly high points at the declination of job efficiency. And the less annual salary, the significantly higher points at cynical manners, the declination of job efficiency and burnout area. 5. In the correlation between job burnout and coping method, burnout area has a significantly normal correlation with active coping and coping area, whereas, it has significantly abnormal correlation with passive coping. 6. As for the difference of area burnout relating to coping behaviors, in coping area A group(under average) had significantly higher points than B group(over average) at the declination of job efficiency and burnout area. From the above results, it was proved that the clinical dental hygienists in younger age, with shorter work experience and less annual salary, no marital spouse had higher points at burnout and passive coping.
As the society changes, the Private Security has developed highly in a short time. However, it has brought about various problems. The best urgent problem of those problems is the wage problem. This study is examining into the difference with the wage satisfaction and devotion to organization, and analyzing influence that wage satisfaction has on devotion to organization. According to this research, the first, women appeared higher numerical value than men in satisfaction with a wage level, wage disparity, wage system and the welfare system and the highest age group is over 26 year-old. While the college graduates appeared high satisfaction with a wage level and wage disparity, the university graduates is high satisfaction with wage system and the welfare. This shows that as the scholarship is high, they think they must be getting wages higher and higher as their work result or produce. The second, in devotion to his(her) organization, the men is higher than the women. The third, the men show the high emotional devotion because the men devote to his work on his own initiative while the women show the high continuos service devotion because they are passively. The fourth, over the 26-year old group appeared high level in devotion to his(her) organization, the university graduate group appeared high level both the emotional devotion and the continuous service devotion. The long-term employed person showed the satisfaction with job position, pay grade, and career and also appeared high in devotion to his(her) organization. The fifth, as the scholarship is low, they were concerned about a wage level and wage disparity but, as the scholarship is high, they were concerned about the wage system and the welfare. The wage satisfaction has influence on the scholarship, job position and career therefore, the long-term employed persons showed high wage satisfaction and devotion to his(her) organization. In conclusion, for the development of Private Security and high devotion to organization, the wage level of private security guards must be systematize and the quality of the welfare must be improved. And the many factors about the wage and welfare must be studied and analyzed to occupy as one of the skill lists through the educational-industrial collaboration.
This study was conducted to understand the effects of job stress, empowerment, and organizational commitment of nursing care workers on burnout For this study, nursing care workers working at long-term care institutions in Gwangju and Jeonnam were conducted. As a result of the study, it was found that excessive role, role conflict, and role ambiguity perceived by nursing care workers had a positive effect on burnout. Individual competencies, job relationship competencies, and organizational environment competencies were found to negatively affect burnout. In addition, it was found that emotional and normative commitment negatively affected burnout, and continuous commitment had a positive effect. Overall, it was found that job stress, empowerment, and organizational commitment had an effect on burnout in order. Based on the results of these studies, it is necessary to establish a fair personnel management system, such as assigning roles appropriate to the nursing care worker's ability and aptitude, selecting, placing, and evaluating targets. It is necessary to create a systematic work environment such as training and provision of supervision. In addition, nursing care workers should relieve stress that occurs in the process of performing their duties, and provide an appropriate rest area for leisure to facilitate work.

This paper was to investigate the relationships between the types of incest and family dynamics. 9 incest cases were collected from the Department of Social Work, Seoul National University Children's Hospital and an adoption agencies. The study cases were categorized into three types of incest, father-daughter incest, mother-son incest, sibling incest. The father-daughter incest families revealed various dysfunctional family dynamics such as sociopathic father, psychologically and physically absent mother, pseudomature child, and lack of communications among family members. In mother-son incest families, the fathers were absent and the mothers abused their sons as an outlet for their sexual desire, which was most pathological, among three types of incest. Sibling incests were characterized by the absence of parental supervisions and appropriate emotional care, and younger sibling becoming a sexual outlet of older sibling. It is evident that the incest does not occur simply because of pathology of one family member but because of family dystunction. Therefore the incest was a kind of 'family disease', and the focus of treatment should be on the whole family.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the OKgram and abuse awareness, and between the the characteristics of the major field and abuse awareness of pre-service child care teachers who are taking the (child care) course as part of their university curriculum. Positiveness isclassified into 2 subfactors,self-positiveness and other positiveness, while abuses are classified into 4 sub factors,viz. body, sex, emotion and neglect, in order to investigate and analyze the effectsof each sub factor. Asurvey was carried out for students of the department of Child Care and the department of Social Welfare of the universities in Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon-do and Seoul, during the 5 day period from 8th May to 12th May, 2017. After conducting a frequency analysis, correlation and multiple regression analyses were performed, from which we madethe following conclusions. First, it was found that positiveness influences abuse awareness, and that when other positiveness is higher than self-positiveness, abuse awareness is increased. We also concluded that we should provide more personality programs that enhance others positiveness. Second, the seriousness of abuse level showed an average value of 4.594, which is highly recognized, while the level (required) to recognize the index wasin the order of sexual(4.789), physical(4.587), neglect(4.510), emotional(4.498), with the index of emotion beingthe lowest. This indicatesthe necessity to strengthen the social standard on emotion abuse awareness. Third, in the characteristics of the major field, the respondents answered that their actual work experience of being a pre-service child care teacher was helpful to raise their abuse awareness, and thatchild care practice wasthe most important.Therefore,we concluded that it is necessary to arrange practical courses which increase the chance of obtaining actual work experience and provide child care practice during child care teacher training.

Objectives: We investigated the impacts of indoor plants on indoor air quality and occupational health, focusing on allergic rhinconjunctivitis and stress among employees in new office buildings. Methods: A total of 34 employees working at new public office buildings were enrolled as subjects (n=17, with indoor plants) and as a control (n=17) group. Before and after introducing indoor plants for three months, indoor air quality measurements including VOCs and aldehydes and questionnaires on sick building syndrome, AR symptoms (ARIA based), stress (DASS 42, KOSS, and SACL), and indoor characteristics were performed and statistically analysed. Results: Among the 34 enrolled subjects, 19 were included in the probable AR subject group (subjects with indoor plants, n=8, control n=11) and completed all questionnaires. Statistical analyses were done for total, AR subject groups, and controls. As a result, it was confirmed that major indoor air pollutants decreased after the introduction of indoor plants (p<0.5). Among major symptoms of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, watery rhinorrhea, nasal stuffiness, and nasal itching indexes decreased (p<0.5, respectively). A decrease was noted in some areas of work-related stress indexes (mainly KOSS) among the subject group (total and AR) and a decrease of indoor environmental attractiveness among the control group (total and AR) (p<0.5, for all). Conclusions: Indoor plants may help reduce indoor air pollutants and decrease AR symptoms and work-related stress of employees in newly built office buildings. Various further follow-up studies on the mechanism of environmental, physical, and emotional influences and utilization of indoor plants in association with allergic diseases will be needed.

This study was conducted to assess the impact of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) on health related quality of life (QoL) in the firefighter under the recent IT environment. The data were collected by face to face interview using a structured questionnaire in the 366 respondents. WMSDs symptoms were measured by a self-assessed questionnaire on symptom table of NIOSH and health-related QoL was measured by SF-36. The prevalence of WMSDs was 38.0% in upper limbs, 35.5% in the low back, 21.6% in lower limbs, and 59.3% in two or more parts of the body. Subjects with symptoms of WMSDs had significantly lower scores in 7 dimensions of QoL except 'emotional role limitation' than those without symptoms of WMSDs at the area of upper extremities (neck, shoulder, arm/wrist, and hand/wrist/fingers). On the other hand, subjects with symptoms of WMSDs had significantly lower scores on all QoL dimensions than those without symptoms of WMSDs at the area of lower back or lower extremities. These results suggest that WMSDs had a negative effect on QoL. Therefore, prevention of WMSDs should be considered intervention strategies for improvement of QoL, especially in firefighters.
