Objectives: This study was designed to determine the relationship among emotional labor, perceived organizational support, and job attitude in public health centers. Results: First, emotional dissonance had no effect on perceived organizational support. However, emotional endeavor had a positive effect on perceived organizational support. Second, perceived organizational support had a significant effect on job attitude. Third, emotional labor had no effect on job satisfaction, but emotional labor had a positive effect on job commitment. Fourth, perceived organizational support had a full mediating effect on the relationship between emotional labor and job attitude. The implications of this study are as follows. Conclusions: Higher emotional labor leads to lower job satisfaction and job commitment in public officials, thereby affecting job attitude. Accordingly, various systematic methods, such as flexible working hours and personnel policy, need to be implemented to alleviate the negative effects of emotional labor.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of nurses' emotional labor and the importance of leaders' emotional intelligence roles by verifying them with job satisfaction and organizational commitment for 396 nurses at 8 university hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. It was found that emotional labor had a negative relationship with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. And leaders' emotional intelligence has a significant positive relationship with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. However, leaders' emotional intelligence has no moderation effect on emotional labor and dependent variables. As this study shows that emotional labor and leader's emotional intelligence affect organizational effectiveness of hospital nurses, it would be important to not only manage members' emotional labor but to also develop the emotional intelligence of both leaders and the staff.

Purpose: The study sought to uncover the effect of emotional labour strategies (surface acting and deep acting) on job satisfaction and emotional exhaustion. The study also purposed to analyse the moderating effect of organisational support (supervisory support and co-worker support) and the role of gender on emotional labour connotations. Research design, data and methodology: A conceptual framework was developed using extant literature which led to the examination of deep acting and surface acting, which are the two main strategies of emotional labour. The outcome variables were emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction. Data was collected from front line employees of banks and was analysed using SEM-AMOS version 21. Results: It was revealed, in this study, that surface acting is inversely related to job satisfaction and positively related to emotional exhaustion, whereas deep acting was positively related to job satisfaction and inversely related to emotional exhaustion. The roles of gender and organisational support were also confirmed. Conclusions: The study therefore concluded that deep acting is the most ideal strategy of emotional labour as it leads to job satisfaction and reduced emotional exhaustion. Surface acting is a harmful emotional labour strategy.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction and organizational commitment of dietitians in elementary schools. The correlation analysis was conducted in order to examine the relationship among emotional intelligence, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to determine the impact of dietitians' emotional intelligence on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The analysis results are as follows. Emotional intelligence showed a statistically significantly positive correlation with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Especially, emotional perception and emotional intelligence had a correlation coefficient of 0.774, the highest but emotional management and organizational commitment had a correlation efficient of 0.254, the lowest. As for the effect of dietitians' emotional intelligence on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, emotional thinking promotion gave a statistically significantly positive impact on dietitians' organizational commitment. As dietitians' emotional function of thought and emotional management got higher, their job satisfaction got higher. As dietitians' emotional function of thought got higher, their organizational commitment got higher as well. These results recommend that development of an emotional intelligence promotion program to effectively control factors related to dietitians' emotional intelligence is necessary to enhance their job satisfaction and organization commitment in the future.

SMEs are constantly demanded of changes in the rapidly-evolving business environment, which involves the fourth industrial revolution and the COVID-19 pandemic. In this period, management consulting service becomes more in demand to provide technical and strategic solutions for management problems. This study aimed to empirically analyze the direct effects of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction and the indirect effects of such parameters as learning agility and self-efficacy on job satisfaction in management consultants. On the basis of a literature review, inter-variable association was designed in the research model. Based on an online survey of those in the Korean SME management consultants, this study collected 221 questionnaires then used structural equation modeling for statistical analysis. The results reveal that emotional intelligence significantly affected job satisfaction and, also significantly positively affected learning agility and self-efficacy. In addition, a significant indirect correlation could be found between learning agility and self-efficacy. Meanwhile, if learning agility and self-efficacy mediated job satisfaction, emotional intelligence had no significant effect on job satisfaction and fully mediated learning agility and self-efficacy. It is necessary to develop an emotional intelligence education program that can help management consultants improve their emotional intelligence with the objective of giving successful management consulting services.

As society evolves, people are making more of an effort to learn more about human aspects, one of which is emotional intelligence, a topic on which education experts have traditionally concentrated. This is due to the fact that emotional intelligence has a significant impact on how people think and manage their emotions. On the other side, it promotes the development of expressive ability and aids people in better adapting to life. This study explores the relationship between communication skills, leadership skills, stress management, adaptability, and emotional intelligence of FPT University students to determine the factors that affect students' emotional intelligence. To survey 500 FPT University students, this study used a sample size of 500. Previous studies used a 5-point Likert scale to assess the four skill elements. According to the results, students who completed the survey showed adequate communication skills, leadership qualities, stress management, adaptability, and emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is influenced by communication skills, leadership abilities, stress management, and flexibility. This suggests that students who master these four skills have higher levels of emotional intelligence. The outcomes of this study reveal that students have been conscious of Emotional Intelligence since a young age. The affirmations in this research paper will benefit students and young people interested in enhancing complimentary soft skills that boost Emotional Intelligence.
Background: While the organizational factors that account for firefighters' burnout have been extensively explored, the individual factors related to how they regulate interpersonal conflicts and emotions remain to be investigated. Previous research has demonstrated the association between emotional intelligence and conflict management styles and burnout, but no study has looked at the interrelationships among these factors in high-risk sectors. The present exploratory study aimed to fill this research gap by investigating the relationships between conflict management style, emotional intelligence and burnout in a sample of firefighters. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 240 French firefighters. Measures comprised validated scales of conflict management styles, emotional intelligence and burnout. Results: Results showed that the integrating conflict style reduced burnout. They also revealed the effects of emotion regulation on burnout, whereby the awareness and management of one's own emotions reduced burnout. Moreover, awareness of one's own emotions moderated the relationship between integrating conflict resolution style and burnout, whereby the effect of integrating style on reduced burnout was higher when awareness of one's own emotions was high. Conclusion: These results reveal that strategies used by firefighters to regulate their emotions in order to meet the emotional demands specific to their job are important for reducing the emotional exhaustion component of burnout. Training programs for conflict and emotion management are needed to preserve the mental health of firefighters and ensure the safety of interventions.
A new research paradigm is emerging within organizational behavior, in both theory and empiricism, based on the increasing recognition of the importance of emotions to organizational life. This paper suggest that emotion intelligence play a moderate variables in relationship of emotion labor and emotional exhaustion. More specifically, it is proposed that emotional intelligence, the ability to understand and manage emotions in the employee self and others, contribute to effective emotions management in organizations. Four major aspects of emotion labor, appraisal and expression of emotion in oneself, appraisal and recognition of emotion in others, regulation of emotion in oneself and use of emotion to facilitate performance, are described. Also, the emotional intelligence are consists of four aspects, frequency of appropriate emotional display, attentiveness to required displayed rules, variety of emotions to be displayed and emotional dissonance. Then I propose how emotional intelligence contributes to of relations the emotion labor and emotional exhaustion. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of emotion labor to employee's emotional exhaustion to explore the moderating effects of the emotional intelligence between the emotion labor and emotional exhaustion. To complete the research the data were collected through a questionnaire from 147 employees from service company. After multi-hierarchical regression analysis, the outcomes of this study are the employee's emotional exhaustion are affected negatively by the three factors: major aspects of emotion labor, regulation of emotion in oneself, use of emotion to facilitate performance, make the moderation effect between emotion labor and emotional intelligence. These results indicate that instilling in others an appreciation of the importance of work activities: encouraging of true expression individual emotions, generating and maintaining well emotional climate and cooperation situations, and managing a meaningful environment for an organizational life.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between medical service quality, emotional attachment, customer satisfaction, and customer behavioral intention of small and medium hospitals. Methods: 228 patients who have used small and medium hospitals' medical services were selected. The analysis methods used were confirmatory factor analysis, validation of discrimination, path analysis, and bootstrapping using SPSS 23 and AMOS 23. Results: As a result of the hypothesis test, reliability, responsiveness, and assurance were found to have a positive (+) influence on emotional attachment and customer satisfaction, while empathy had a positive (+) influence on emotional attachment only. Emotional attachment had a positive (+) influence on customer satisfaction and behavioral intention, and customer satisfaction had a positive (+) influence on behavioral intention. Conclusions: Medical service providers in small and medium hospitals should recognize that increasing customer satisfaction based on emotional attachment is a pathway to customer acquisition and, ultimately, a way to promote effective management.
Objectives: This study examined the relationship between the personality traits and job performance of Centers for Children's Foodservice Management (CCFSM) staff on emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction. In addition, the characteristics of the center organization were examined to provide practical guidelines for the operation of the center. The aim was to determine management implications with an important meaning in human resource management to enhance the efficiency of the operation of Centers for Children's Foodservice Management (CCFSM). Methods: Out of 207 centers, there were 1,057 employees at 173 centers who agreed to participate in the study, the questionnaire was mailed on February 17, 2017 and collected by mail on March 31, 2017. Finally, 81 centers (46.82%) participated in the survey and 493 questionnaires were used. Results: Neuroticism among the five personality factors had a positive (+) influence on 'cynicism' and 'exhaustion' among the three subordinate factors of emotional exhaustion, negative (-) effects on the 'job' among the six subscales of job satisfaction. In addition, openness showed a negative (-) effect on 'loss of professional confidence' of emotional exhaustion and positive (+) relationship with the 'job' of job satisfaction. Agreeableness appeared to have a negative (-) effect on all factors of emotional exhaustion and a positive (+) influence on all factors of job satisfaction. As a result of analyzing the effects of job performance on emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction, the planning and operations management team showed a positive (+) influence on all factors of emotional exhaustion and negative (-) influence on all factors of job satisfaction. On the other hand, the nutrition management team showed a negative (-) influence on all emotional exhaustion factors and a positive (+) influence on the factors of job satisfaction. The hygiene management team showed a positive (+) relationship with 'Emotional exhaustion' among the subordinate factors of emotional exhaustion and a negative (-) influence on the 'Educational opportunity' of job satisfaction. Conclusions: The personality type and job performance of Centers for Children's foodservice management (ccfsm) staff significantly affected the emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction.
