The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of child care teachers' emotional supports in individual classrooms on children's social skills, including self-control, assertion, cooperation, and responsibility that were related to their character development. Data were collected in a purposive sample involving 32 teachers working with 646 children at age five and 555 parents of the children. Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM) was used to analyze a two-level model. The results showed that there were significant differences among classes with data reported by teachers but characteristics such as teachers' education and work experiences, child-teacher ratio, and type of child care centers as well as teacher's emotional supports did not explain the differences. Children's age and gender, which were predictors at the individual level, significantly explained their level of social skills reported by parents as well as teachers. The findings implied that other predictors influencing differences among classes should be explored in future studies.

Background and Objectives:The Voice Handicap Index (VHI) evaluates the patients perception of impact of voice disorder in term of functional, physical, emotional factors. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the change of patient's subjective voice handicap index before and after laryngeal microsurgery for benign vocal cord lesions. Materials and Methods:We analyzed 55 patients who received laryngeal microsurgery for benign vocal cord disease from January 2011 to February 2013 retrospectively. There were 50 vocal nodules, 3 vocal polyps, 2 vocal cysts. VHI were analyzed before surgery and 3 months after surgery. Results:The VHI scores showed statistically significant reductions postoperatively in functional and emotional VHI (p=0.01 and p=0.034). Also, Emotional VHI score after microsurgery was higher in female than male [adjusted odd ratio (AOR)=0.292 ; 95% confidence interval, CI=0.098-0.869, p=0.01]. Conclusion:In other words, males experience significant more emotional effects that are improved after microscopic surgery.

The purpose of the study was to examine the effectiveness of Neuro Feedback training by observing the pre and post brainwave measurement results of about 50 (experimental group 25. comparative group 25) subjects who have shown psychological difficulties in studying. attention deficit, and personalities. The study took place at Neuro Feedback training Center B. in between the months of July 2006 and May 2007. The methodology involved in the study included the Coloring Analysis Program of the Brain Quotient Test. As the brain waves are adjusted by timeseries linear analysis. the brain function quotients can reflect the functional states of the brain. Through the test, three parameters relaxation, attention and concentration-were initially measured for one minute each and the lowest parameter out of the three was selected as the training mode or improvement target. The training took place two or three times a week. for about 40 to 60 minutes per session. Because the clients have come to the training center at different times. the researcher sampled the results of only those who had attended more than 30 training sessions. The tool used to measure the psychological reaction was POMS (Profile of Mood State). while the tool used to measure the emotional and attention-deficit characteristics was the Amen Clinic ADD Type questionnaire. Hypothesis testing included t-test. The result of the study showed the Theta: SMR ratio of (left)p = .013. (right) p = .019. The result also confirmed the differences of both ATQ(left) p = .011. (right)p = .030 and SQ(left) p = .017. (right) p = .022. The result confirmed of emotional p = .000. attention-deficit characteristics p = .000. The result of the study suggest Neuro Feedback technique's possibility in positively affecting the subjects' mental state and attention-deficit characteristics.

Present study investigated the effects of poverty and poverty-co-factors in childhood. The effect of poverty status was measured by needs-income ratio. It compared its effect on children's socio-emotional development with that of poverty proxy variables such as recipient of public assistance, financial stress, subjective perception about social class, residence in public housing. It also examined the effects of poverty-co-factors after poverty status were controlled. Results show that poverty status has a more consistent negative relationship with socio-emotional development than other proxy variables. However, the relationship between them disappeared after poverty-co-factors were controlled. Findings from the present study suggest that targeted efforts for decreasing poverty-co-factor risks should be made along with financial support.

In previous studies, stress in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) work environment was focused on lowering work performance by negatively affecting the emotions of organizational members. In the current corona pandemic era, as the ratio of organizational members working from home in a smart environment increases, the need for research on the effects of positive and negative stress on work performance is being raised. Accordingly, by applying the Affective Event Theory to the emotional effects of stress on employees' emotional responses, the effects on work performance were analyzed by dividing them into positive and negative emotions. Also, the effect of smart work on work performance was analyzed. This survey was commissioned by a research company and analyzed using Smart PLS 3.0 tool. Therefore, based on the research results, it was suggested that stress does not only negatively affect the emotions of employees, but that the challenge stress that appears in the mind to achieve a goal induces positive emotions in the employees' emotions and helps to improve work performance.

The knowledge base on emotional information is one of the key elements in the implementation of emotion retrieval systems for contents design of Mobile devices. This study proposed a new approach to the knowledge base implementation by automatically extracting color components from full-color images. In this study, the validity of the proposed method was empirically tested. Database was developed using 100 interior images as visual stimuli and a total of 48 subjects participated in the experiment. In order to test the reliability of the proposed 'emotional information knowledge base', firstly 'recall ratio' that refers to frequencies of correct images from the retrieved images was derived. Secondly, correlation Analysis was performed to compare the ratings by the subjects to what the system calculated. Finally, the rating comparison was used to run a paired-sample t-test. The analysis demonstrated satisfactory recall ration of 62.1%. Also, a significant positive correlation (p<.01) was observed from all the emotion keywords. The paired Sample t-test found that all the emotion keywords except "casual" retrieved the images in the order from more relevant to less relevant images and the difference was statistically significant (t(9)=5.528, p<.05). Findings of this study support that the proposed 'emotional information knowledge base' established only with color information automatically extracted from images can be effectively used for such visual stimuli search tasks as commercial interior images.

Does the healing of life lead to a grave, or can death heal life? The healing in life exists in the emotional circuit of the space of life. So what kind of space does healing in death exist? For now, healing in death exists beyond life. Imje (林悌, 1549-1587) is famous for reciting Sadness Sijo in his beloved Hwang Jin-yi's Grave. For the Literature Therapy, this time we're trying to code the Emotions of Sijo "The Valley Which is Covered With Blue Grass", which Imje is said to have recited in the Hwang Jin-yi's Grave. This Sijo sings the love of Sadness such as Love and Death, Grave and Sadness. That is, how fuse human Emotions, which are caused by conflicting concepts of love and pain or love and separation. Imje's Sijo fuses signifiers such as Grave, Love and Sadness to code 'The Transience of Human Life.' This 'The Transience of Human Life' is a function of this Sijo's Literature Therapy. 'The Transience of Human Life' has a role of healing that relaxes the human body. With the Literature Therapy in place like this, no matter how painful life is, we have some leeway. This is because the sadness of 'The Transience of Human Life' delivered by Sijo conveys the effect of the Literature Therapy, which contemplate and tolerate the entire life. We look forward to continuing this research and achieving Emotion Coding for new life.

This exploratory study deals with the digital policy proposal through emotional perception of real name SNS and WOM effect. Research was based on the audience trends analysis of the movies having official SNS sites and the movies not having official SNS sites among the opened 90 movies in Korea from 2012 to 2013. Therefore, researchers confirmed that the representative real SNS, facebook was utilized as emotional marketing tools and tried to analyze the effectiveness of SNS critically. The research results are the follows. First, the movies to actively utilize facebook showed statistically significant differences in terms of daily, weekly audience and seat share (occupancy ratio). It is indirectly confirmed that real name SNS such as facebook is much effective in WOM marketing. Second, in the daily trends and weekly trends, the movies showed a similar pattern and above all, the movies to actively take advantage of facebook maintained their audience trends. Thus the government and the corporation have to understand the emotional WOM effect of real name SNS for policy effectiveness. Therefore this study gives the contribution practically for boost up the policy effectiveness through emotional ripple WOM effect of the strength of weak tie of real name SNS.

Objective: The objective of this study was to examine frame ratio of text information and font size in the circle smartwatch. Background: Recently, electronic manufacturers try to develop the original metaphor of traditional wrist watch (circle) in terms of smartwatch. They endeavor to break the square display in order to improve emotional customer satisfaction. Method: The experiments examined twenty level of text information design, combinations of four frame ratios (1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 21:9) and five font sizes (6pt, 7pt, 8pt, 9pt, 10pt). Nineteen participants volunteered for the experiment. Dependent variables were WPM (Words per Minute), reading preference, design preference and total preference. Furthermore, small circle display was made by using circle display data (1.3inch), which was exhibited in IFA (International Funkausstellung) 2014. Results: As a result, ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) revealed that WPM, and task time preference affect the specific frame ratio and font size. Results of ANOVA for reading preference, design preference, total preference were grouped by post-analysis LSD (Least Significant Difference). Among users, display ratio (16:9, 21:9), and font size (9pt) were preferred. In conclusion, 16:9 display ratio and 9pt are adaptable for text information in 1.3inch circle display. Conclusion: From the study, it is shown that 16:9 display ratio and 9pt size are more adaptable for text information in 1.3inch circle display than others. It is mainly due to the fact that the order of frame ratio and font size may affect the usability of reading long text information in a small circle display. Therefore, when developers design a circle display, the square frame ratio and font size are required to be considered according to circle size. Application: The 16:9 display ratio and 9pt font size may be utilized as a text information frame in the circle display design guideline for smartwatch.

In this study, I analyzed dual-career commuting couples time use. Concretely, this study compared the husband with the wife on the becoming a commuter family, the living apart on weekdays. And it examined time use on weekdays and weekends by the time amount of each activities and the ratio of actor on each hour. The survey participants included 131 married people who were dual-career commuting couple and who were maintained separate residence and work place. The major findings are as follows: First, weekday separation of the dual-career commuting couples is largely due to career. This kind separation is mostly due to sociostructural labor market factor and individual factor to increasing working women. Second, 94.6%(53) of male participants were resident living apart from their family on weekdays. Third, the most wives mentioned some kind of emotional liberation such as freedom on weekdays. Finally, there was gender difference in the time spent on each activities when dual-career commuting couples are living together and they are apart. Especially the most gender difference on weekdays is household work time and leisure time.
