Capstone-Design 활동에서 MBTI 성격유형에 따른 팀 상호작용 변화 분석 (Analysis of Team Interaction Changes in Capstone-Design Activities by MBTI Modes)

  • This study has a purpose mainly to analyze the team interaction change by the duration of time in the Capstone-Design activities according to MBTI Modes. Study objects are four students of Mechanical Engineering at School of Engineering in C University located in Daejeon, and the team interaction change was analyzed through IPA (Interaction Process Analysis) method. From the result, first, ESTP showed the change of increase in interaction by the time duration of initial, mid, late periods in 'social-emotional area: positive' and 'task area: question', and the change of decrease by the same time duration of periods in 'task area: solution'. Also, there was no change in 'social-emotional area: negative' because there was no interaction. Second, ESFJ showed the change of decrease in interaction by the time duration of initial, mid, late periods in 'social-emotional area: positive' and 'task area: question', and the change of increase by the same time duration of periods in 'task area: solution' and 'social-emotional area: negative'. Third, ISTJ showed the change of decrease in interaction by the time duration of initial, mid, late periods in 'social-emotional area: positive', 'task area: question' and 'social-emotional area: negative', and the change of increase by the same time duration of periods in 'task area: solution'. Fourth, ENFP showed the change of decrease by the time duration of initial, mid, late periods in 'social-emotional area: positive', 'task area: solution' and 'social-emotional area: negative', and the change of increase by the same time duration of periods in 'task area: question'.

요양시설 내 재활대상 노인의 지지가 죽음불안에 미치는 영향 (The effect of social support on elderly people for rehabilitation at nursing homes)

  • 본 연구는 요양시설 입소 노인의 죽음 및 불안과 관련하여 사회적 지지와의 상관성을 알아보기 위해 대구 경북에 소재하고 있는 노인 요양시설 6개를 임의 모집하여 노인환자 300명(남성: 183명, 여성:117명)을 대상으로 조사하였다. 연구의 결과는 사회적 지지에서 물질적 지지와 정보적 지지가 죽음 불안과 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났고 죽음 불안과 일반적 특성의 연관성에서는 고령일수록, 입소기간이 길수록 증가되는 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 따라서 요양시설 입소 노인이 느끼는 죽음·불안에 대한 두려움을 개선하도록 하며 자아 존중감, 자아 통합감을 향상시키고 우울을 해결할 수 있도록 전문적인 상담과 프로그램을 개발하여 실시하는 것이 필요하다.

초등학생을 대상으로 한 사상인 성격의 설문분석 (The Study on Sasangin's Characteristics of Elementary School Students)

  • 1. Objectives The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics about the Sasang constitution of elementary school students based on the questions that have significant differences. 2. Methods 146 children who have visited Kang-Nam Kyung-Hee Oriental Hospital Sasang constitution center from Mar. 2003 to May. 2005, were investigated through the questionnaires. These have the categories of personality and emotional characteristics, personal relationship, playing and the way to handle things such as jobs or missions, behavioral characteristics, and etc., were analyzed statistically. 3. Results and Conclusions (1) In the category of the 'Personality and Emotional characteristics', significantly more Soeumin showed positive answers to the question, 'being easily nervous and get irritated' than the other groups, and significantly more Taeumin to the question, 'considerate and thoughtful' than Soyangin. (2) In the category of the 'Personal relationship', there were significantly more Soyangin who showed positive answer to the question 'making a friend easily' than the other groups. (3) In the category of the 'playing and the way to handle things', significantly more Soeumin showed positive answer to the question, 'love to do the exercise' than Soyangin, and significantly more Soeumin showed positive answer to the question, 'not careful and meticulous' than Soyangin, and significantly more Soeumin showed positive answer to the question, 'like to read books' than Taeumin. (4) In the category of the 'Behavioral characteristics', significantly more Soyangin showed positive answer to the question, 'unable to concentrate just one thing even for just a minute and keep on moving.' than the other groups, and significantly more Soyangin showed positive answer to the question, 'act or response quick.' than Taeumin, and significantly more Soyangin showed positive answer to the question, 'behave and go around restlessly and flighty' than Soeumin, and significantly more Taeumin showed the positive answer to the question, 'hate to move by oneself' than Soyangin.

스티븐 홀의 감성적 디자인 방법론에 관한 연구 (A Study of Emotional Design Method of Steven Holl)

  • The subject of 'Emotional Design' is appeared recently as one of the important issues in design field. 'Emotion', which has been underestimated since Kant and should be reevaluated from now on, is one of the basic two elements with reason which constitutes human nature. The purpose of this study is to research emotional design method appeared in the works of Steven Holl who is considered one of the influencing architects because of his unique methodology in developing the emotional design. The results of this study are as follows; 1) Emotional aspects were implied in his concepts by the way of emphasis on phenomenology in dealing with question of perception. 2) Emotional aspects were interwoven in his form and space as related to his concept. 3) Emotional aspects were shown in his way of developing his ideas with water coloring, in deriving his concept from other genre(especially from literature) and in the articulation of details. As a result, his unique way of implying emotional aspects which is coming from in-depth research of human nature as well as his own instinct were all interwoven in concept, form, and space together as a total way of thinking.

Requests for Parents and Homeroom Teachers of First Graders: Important of Emotional Support

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the specific needs of 1st graders for parents and homeroom teachers. The research questions of this study are as follows. Research question 1. What does 1st grader want from parents? Research question 2. What does the 1st grader want for the homeroom teacher? There were 31 participants. Data collection was conducted by focus group interview. Requests for parents are summarized as 'what 1st graders want from parents', and requests for teachers are summarized as 'what 1st graders want from homeroom teacher'. As the detailed topics of 'What 1st graders want from parents' are 'I have too much work to do, so I want to reduce it', 'Don't just scold me' 'Like in kindergarten, play with me' and 'I'm so hard. Take care of me'. As the detailed topics of 'what 1st graders want from homeroom teacher.' are 'At first it was exciting', 'Scary teacher, I hate it', 'Friendly teacher, good', 'Teacher, please praise me' and 'Teacher, please teach me fun'. We revealed that the emotional support of parents and homeroom teachers is important for 1st graders to successfully adapt to elementary school.

어머니의 정서표현 수용태도, 유아의 정서지능 및 문제행동간의 관계 (The Relationship between Maternal Attitudes toward Children's Expressiveness, Children's Emotional Intelligence and Problem Behaviors)

  • This study examined the relationship between maternal attitudes toward children's expressiveness, children's emotional intelligence and problem behaviors. The question as to whether emotional intelligence mediated the relationship between maternal attitudes and problem behaviors was also explored. A sample of 307 preschool children were used as subjects. Mothers rated their levels of acceptance toward their children's emotions, while teachers reported on the children's emotional abilities and behavioral problems. The data were analyzed by means of regression analyses. Our results indicated that mothers' controlling attitudes were associated with low levels of worry-anxiety. Additionally, it was found that children with high emotional intelligence showed low levels of worry-anxiety, hostility-aggression, and hyperactivity-inattention. While multiple factors of emotional intelligence had differential impacts, the self-control factor was the most powerful predictor for all the problem behaviors. It was further found that a mother's receptive attitude was related to higher levels of self-awareness in children. Instead of the significant mediating effect of emotional intelligence, it was revealed that emotional intelligence had greater effects upon problem behaviors than maternal attitudes toward children's expressiveness.

감성디자인적 접근을 통한 혁신적 포괄적 디자인 (Innovative Inclusive Design by Emotional Design)

  • 첫번째 질문-포용적 디자인을 진정으로 포용적으로 만드는 방법은 무엇인가. 대부분의 포용적 디자인 제품들이 사용자들에게 그다지 매력을 주지 못하는 이유는 디자이너들이 제품의 사용성의 개선에 치중하면서도 제품과 사용자를 연결해 주는 감성적 가치를 간과하기 때문이다. 디스플레이와 키보드를 크게 하는 등의 사용성의 개선책은 때로 제품을 매력이 없고 관심을 끌지 못하게 만들어 결과적으로 원래의 의도와는 달리 포용성을 충족시키지 못하게 되게 된다. 감성적 디자인이란 단순히 재미있는 제품을 만드는 것이 아니라, 사용하기 즐거운 제품을 만드는 것을 의미한다. 긍정적인 감성적 디자인은 제품에 대한 호감을 증가시켜서 사용자로 하여금 제품에 대한 연결감을 고양시키고, 이러한 감성적 연결감은 제품을 사용하는 것을 즐겁게 할 뿐만 아니라, 사용 방법을 배우는 것 조차 즐겁게 만든다. 또한 제품에 대한 주의를 높이고 지루함을 줄여서 사용성에 따르는 많은 문제를 해결해 준다. 더 많은 사람이 즐겁게 사용한다면 그 제품의 포용성은 더욱 높아질 것이다. 두번째 질문-포용적 디자인은 혁신적인 상품성이 있을 수 없는가. 대개의 포용적 디자인 제품은 혁신적이지 못하고, 따라서 새로운 시장 기회를 만들지 못한다. 감성적 접근방법이 사용자 측면의 가치를 높이는 일이라면, 혁신적 디자인 접근 방법은 시장에서의 가치를 높이는 일이다. 이는 더 많은 기업의 포용적 디자인 제품의 개발을 촉진시키게 된다. 본 논문에서는 포용적 디자인에서의 감성적 디자인 방법의 효과를 조명하고, 감성적 디자인 접근 방법이 포용적 디자인 제품을 혁신적으로 만들 수 있는 가능성을 다룬다. 또한 제시된 디자인 프로세스를 통하여 이러한 과정의 사례를 보여준다.

Emotional Intelligence and Project Success: The Roles of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Commitment

  • The paper aims to examine the relationship of emotional intelligence on the project success, the causal relationship between emotional intelligence and project success, and also investigate the influence of emotional intelligence and the mediating role of transformational leadership as well as the moderating effect of organization commitment on the relationship between emotional intelligence and project success. Cross sessional research is applied to collect the data in this study. By applying quantitative research and survey question, the study collects 325 respondents who are the project managers. Snow-ball sampling method is used to distribute the questionnaires by face to face survey (68% of respondents) and online survey (32% of respondents). The collected data is analyzing by applying partial least square (PLS-SEM) via software SmartPLS 3.0.The result shows that the emotional intelligence and the transformational leadership making the project even more successful as the mediation actor. Furthermore, the project commitment also has the moderator effect between transformational leadership and project success. With the result of study, project managers should be aware of the importance of emotional intelligence and their commitment to the ability to manage projects successfully. A successful project is a combination of many actors, the most critical actor is the leader of the project.

공과대학생의 대인관계문제, 정서인식명확성, 공감능력 탐색 (Exploration on Interpersonal Problems, Emotional Clarity, and Empathic Ability in Engineering Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore characteristics of engineering students' Interpersonal Problems, Emotional Clarity, and Empathic Ability compared with humanities and social sciences students. A total of 739 college students participated in the study (459 enginerring students and 280 humanities and social sciences students). We tested research question by employing the t-test. The result showed that engineering students have higher level of clarity of feelings, perspective taking, empathic concern and lower level of attention to feelings, personal distress than humanities and social sciences students. Moreover, engineering students showed lower level of cold, socially avoidant, exploitable problems than humanities and social sciences students. We dicussed that programs aiming at developing engineering students' emotional awareness and improving their interpersonal relationships should be provided.

치과위생사들의 감정노동, 소진 및 이직의도간의 관계 (Relationship between emotional labor, burnout and turnover intention in the dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between emotional labor, burnout and turnover intention in the dental hygienists. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 326 dental hygienists in Seoul and Gyeonggido from September to October, 2013. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 15.0 program. The questionnaire consisted of nine questions of the general characteristics of the subjects, ten questions of turnover intention, and fourteen questions of burnout. Each question was measured by Likert 5 point scale. Results: There was a significant difference in workplace and monthly income which had an impact on emotional expression(p<0.05). There was a significant difference in current workplace and monthly income which had an impact on emotional dissonance(p<0.05). Burnout had a significant difference(p<0.05) in age, religion, and turnover intention current workplace, employment condition, and the number of turnover. There was a positive correlation between burnout and turnover intention. It was shown that Emotional labor had a positive correlation with burnout and turnover intention and the explanation power was 18.1%. Conclusions: The dental hygienists are one of the most vulnerable emotional labor workers and are apt to feel exhaustion from the job and turnover intention. It is necessary to prepare for the burnout and turnover intention in the dental hygienists.
