At the end of last January, 2003, a domestic top-level domain name server (DNS) shut down the server and it caused the wired and wireless internet services to be completely paralyzed in the aftermath of a virus attack incurring a various range of losses nationwide. The main reason of this event is the lack of our awareness of cyber security. In particular, in the small-scale network, there are few security administrators and no operating devices to protect information as well. Under this circumstance, using ESM center to service real-time security supervision and correspondence for network, it can be one option. However, due to the economic efficiency, most of security systems have been being developed focusing on the large-scale network first. Therefore, ESM centers which inspect security state of network concentrate on IDC or large-scale network services. This dissertation studies economical ESM service by designing exclusive SnSA for small-scale network for widespread use. Firstly, network invasion feeler function N_SnSA and host invasion feeler function H_SnSA are embodied to collect more informations in the small-scale network. Secondarily, the existing vulnerability is studied to find the solutions linked with a low cost to a Public center such as Kyonggi Univ ESM center.

The IPv4 that used to be generally used as a medium of computer communications in 1980s has reached its limits now. IPv6 (IP Version 6) is being prepared to solve the limitations of the IPv4. However, the biggest problem of IPv6 is that it is not compatible with the IPv4. To resolve the compatibility issue, Dual Stack, Tunneling and Header Converting methods have been proposed. The Header Converting method allows communications between the IPv4 and IPv6 networks with the converter. This method's strength is that it is easy to embody and the procedures for embodiment is simple. However, this method still contains the weaknesses that the existing IPv4 has. On the current document, the Header Converting method among the three methods is discussed to resolve the problems this method has. To solve the Header Converting method's weakness, the security problem between sections, the IP Header field values are converted to the relative field values and IPSec (IP Security) and ESP (Encapsulation Security Payload) are applied. The proposed "Encrypted Header Converting Method" that is encrypted in packet units has solved the weakness that the pre-existing Header Converting method used to have.d to have.

A began of this study is to verify Spontaneous Acoustic Field Reproduction System(SAFRS), developed as an embodiment of creating agreeable sound environment, with evaluation on the field application. SAFRS is a system to sense changes of surroundings and produce sounds, which can go well with environment elements sensed by the system in to the space. The sound which can go well with environment elements is sound which judged by individual evaluation to be so, the classification of the preferred sounds according to the mood of the space was suggested in the former study. So, SAFRS was applied into the Square of D University to evaluate effectiveness of the system. The executed evaluations were 1) evaluation on sounds perception, frequency, volume and matchability with the space, 2) image evaluation on the square and sound environment and 3) evaluation on sound environment with existing sounds, fountains sound, sound produced by SAFRS, and both fountains sound and sound produced by SAFRS. Verifying SAPRS of field application was deduced from those evaluations. Theresultsofthestudyarefollowing: Though the system was applied into the space, the volume of the sounds shouldn't be too high. And with visual surroundings, the effectiveness of the system would be increased. At the results of four evaluations, the result of day evaluation is; both fountains sound and sound produced by SAFRS>fountains sound>sound produced by SAFRS>existing sounds, the result of night evaluation is; sound produced by SAFRS>both fountains sound and sound produced by SAFRS>fountains sound>existing sounds and these results pointed out that sounds environment produced by the system was highly evaluated due to less background sounds.

Developing an application, it is difficult to catch an exact requirement with the conventional text-based method. It has also problems in verification and analysis at each developing stage. Therefore, if an adjustment is required with an error and change of requirement, a bad effect happen in the whole system. In this case, it also affect adversely on the developing cost and period. Meanwhile, if an analysis or verification is performed, the possibility of an error frequency reduces. Thus, not only is it easier to correct the error but also add an new requirement. This thesis embody a TCP/IP congestion control algorithm with SDL which provides automatically graphic interface, verification and analysis to each developing stage. Using SDL gave a clear representation embodiment in each developing stage and easiness of adjustment due to changing requirements or correcting errors. In addition, the stages of protocol have been certified in a simulation by verification of MSC and the results showed a possibility of developing a better TCP/IP protocol.

Graphic design plays an important role in contemporary culture. The chief social function of design is to create a visual identity. This essay focuses on the development of American graphic design and the embodiment of national identity in the twentieth century. The first chapter looks at the brief history of American graphic design. And the following chapter analyzes the example of those designers who have most obviously contributed to embodying identity in the United States. At the beginning of the twentieth century American modern design began with strong European roots. American designers added new forms and concepts to the tradition of graphic design. And their original approach to modern design gained international prominence. American design was pragmatic, intuitive, and more informal in its approach. The purpose of this essay is to inquire into the identity of American graphic design in a chronological survey.

Display space of trade fair can be classed by wall style, corner style, head style, island style, two entrance style 5 according to the position. And we must plan communication plan by these position dividing the function to passive communication area, active communication area, intensive communication area, function achievement area. We will can grope contents and method for successful exhibit through communication plan that is connected form and position of exhibit between exhibit space of such trade fair and we may achieve purpose of trade fair display.

Frank O. Gehry is hewn to be an architect whose design 1anguage is so arbitrary and so unexpectedly changing that it seems to be almost impossible to trace any common language or my coherence over his entire career and works. To provide a counter-argument to this conception, this study explores the transformation pattern of the design language commanded by Gehry through his works. To pursue this study, Gehry's career was divided into four periods according to the design characteristics, and thorough analysis was conducted on the transformation pattern of the language both synchronically and diachronically. Based on the analysis, it was found that Gehry had been always trying to metaphorically embody the synchronic context of any given Period into his works, and the vehicles of this embodiment were materiality and morphology. Finally the argument of this study is that the changing process of Gehry's design language is not any "revolutionary change," as it was known to be, but 〃evolutionary transformation. "on."

The success of a product is only possible on the basis of user preference for products and the user preference for products is greatly influenced by the design. Designers have to understand user preference and convert it into the combination of specified design attribute, and after that they should design products which have the image that they want to get. Then the product will be sure to be a hit. Therefore, on the point of view of design, it is necessary to find oui definitely the consumer preference frame : the relationship among design preference - design images - design attribute. This study will give you guidelines on which designers can select and design some more objective and reliable design factors, finding out the relation of cause and effect by which they can know what kind of product designs their consumers like and how the popular image which that products offer is composed of. Therefore, in this study, after we developed the consumer response framework which is proposed by Bloch(1995) : distinct relationship model among preference - design image adjective - design factors, we analyzed the relationship among preference-design image adjective - design factors through the empirical researches. And then we give the way of design.

Design for improved usability is to understand products from the user's point of view so eventually to enhance the pleasantness users by reflecting it into the design. The philosophy of user-oriented design is an essence of human-centered product planning, and its application is more important for railway vehicle design, which is closely connected with everyday life. This study focused to define basic elements of train interior design concept, which considers convenience and comfort for passengers, by extracting and interpreting ergonomic requirements, as usability factors, of train toilet design. The study on user-oriented design of trains consists of the practice of sensibility engineering for the management of customers' emotions and its harmonious use on design, and aims on the embodiment of new ergonomic design. In the center, it has analyzed the criteria and characteristics of the user-oriented design and has concluded the design direction and components to a concrete idea and proposed prototypes, which may become a good example for train interior design later on. In addition, it proposes a direction, which may become a guideline of ergonomic design, to secure competition capacity. Moreover this study is concentrated on the physical environment and human behavior of train toilet users, on the analysis of factors necessary for adequate toilet design, and on the understanding of interface between its users. What is more, it proposes a module of development process and methods of approaching the interface. The study presents a design standard, under which the concrete data of the characteristics and practicable range and the convergent demands accelerate to the module could be confirmed and criticized. The study on the usability is going to contribute to more pleasant and comfortable train environments and consequently, it's going to create new values of increased railway competitiveness by design.
