  • Currently, the automation and intelligence of the shipbuilding industry have improved its work production capacity and cost competitiveness, but the reduction rate of safety accidents among industrial site workers is still low and the damage caused by safety accidents is very serious, so there is a need for improvement according to the workplace. This research aims to demonstrate the connectivity between smart safety helmets in the demonstration area to verify the effectiveness along with the development of smart helmets for worker protection and environmental safety in shipyards. For efficient communication between workers, impact noise of over 95dB was confirmed in the workplace, and noise reduction was required. To solve this problem, the filtering performance was compared and analyzed using the Butterworth, Chebyshev, and elliptic algorithms. The connectivity test and noise reduction method between smart helmets proposed in this study will increase the usability and safety of the field through the development of advanced smart helmets tailored to the shipbuilding workplace in the future.

  • This paper proposes the hybrid crypto-system for fast video data encryption of UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) under the LTE(Long-Term Evolution) wireless communication environment. This hybrid crypto-system is consisted of ECC(Elliptic Curve Cryptography) public key algorithm and LEA(Light-weight Encryption Algorithm) symmetric key algorithm. ECC is a faster public key algorithm with the same security strength than RSA(Rivest Shamir Adleman), and Korean standard LEA with the same key size is also a faster symmetric key algorithm than AES(Advances Encryption Standard). We have implemented this hybrid crypto-system using OpenSSL, OpenCV and Socket programs under the Swarm 8-UAV. We have shown the efficient adaptability of this hybrid crypto-system for the real-time swarm UAV through the experiments under the LTE communication environment.

  • Information Security System is implemented in software, hardware and FPGA device. Implementation of S/W provides high flexibility about various information security algorithm, but it has very vulnerable aspect of speed, power, safety, and performing ASIC is really excellent aspect of speed and power but don't support various security platform because of feature's realization. To improve conflict of these problems, implementation of recent FPGA device is really performed. The goal of this thesis is to design and develop a FPGA hardware accelerator for information security system. It performs as AES, SHA-256 and ECC and is controlled by the Integrated Interface. Furthermore, since the proposed Security Information System can satisfy various requirements and some constraints, it can be applied to numerous information security applications from low-cost applications and high-speed communication systems.

  • In modern society, smart home has become a part of people's daily life. But traditional smart home systems often have problems such as security, data centralization and easy tampering, so a blockchain is an emerging technology that solves the problems. This paper proposes a blockchain-based smart home system which consists in a home and a blockchain network part. The blockchain network with 8 nodes is implemented by HyperLeger Fabric platform on Docker. ECC(Elliptic Curve Cryptography) technology is used for data transmission security and RBAC(role-based access control) manages the certificates of network members. Raft consensus algorithm maintains data consistency across all nodes in a distributed system and reduces block generation time. The query and data submission are controlled by the smart contract which allows nodes to safely and efficiently access smart home data. The experimental results show that the proposed system maintains a stable average query and submit time of 84.5 [ms] and 93.67 [ms] under high concurrent accesses, respectively and the transmission data is secured through simulated packet capture attacks.

  • A turbulent flow in a conical diffuser with total divergence angle of 8.deg. was numerically studied. The low Reynolds number k-.epsilon. model(Launder-Sharma model) was adopted to simulate the turbulence. The continuity and time averaged Navier-Stokes equations in a nonorthogonal coordinate system were solved by a finite volume method based on the fully elliptic formulation. The low Reynolds number k-.epsilon. model reasonably simulates the pressure recovery and the mean velocity components. However, there are also considerable discrepancies between predicted and measured shear stress distribution on the wall and turbulent kinetic energy distributions. It is necessary to investigate the flow structure at the entry of the diffuser, numerically as well as experimentally.

  • Most of studies on wave height algorithms that are using at buoys describe algorithms using double integral to determine the position data from the acceleration data measured from the accelerometer. but sometimes, it can involve some cumulative error in that process, and result in misjudgment or unstabe system. On the other hand, It is widely known that the motion of fluid particles on or underneath a linear progressive wave is periodic and elliptic. This fact is considered in this article and leads a improved algorithms with no integral processing.

  • VANET is a network environment which provides the communication between vehicles and between vehicle and RSU using wireless communication. VANET is very important to protect safety and life of people. Because of that, security is considered enough and certification is very important when messages exchanged between vehicles. Recently, Zhang proposed using Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol that is method exchanging messages in VANET system through RAISE. But this is many problems on weakness from various attacks. In this paper, proposed the method that establish symmetric key using ECDH key exchange protocol and confirm safety and time spending that generate key and exchange through comparison.

  • The flow field around a high-speed train including cross-wind effects has been simulated. This study solves 3-D unsteady incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in the inertial frame using the iterative time marching scheme. The governing equations are differenced with 1st-order accurate backward difference scheme for the time derivatives, 3th-order accurate QUICK scheme for the convective terms and 2nd-order accurate central difference scheme for the viscous terms. The Marker-and-Cell concept was applied to efficiently solve continuity equation, which is differenced with 2nd-order accurate central difference scheme. The 4th-order artificial damping is added to the continuity equation for numerical stability. A C-H type of elliptic grid system is generated around a high-speed train including ground. The Baldwin-Lomax turbulent model was implemented to simulate the turbulent flows. To validate the present procedure, the flow around a high speed train at constant yaw angle of $45^{\circ}\;and\;90^{\circ}$ has been simulated. The simulation shows 3-D vortex generation in the lee corner. The flow separation is also observed around the rear of the train. It has concluded that the results of present study properly agree with physical flow phenomena.

  • The LiBr-H₂O absorption process on a horizontal tube has been analyzed numerically. The flow field, which was calculated in the authors' previous study by solving the fully elliptic Navier-Stokes equations with accurate free-surface-tracking method, is used to solve the temperature and concentration distributions in the absorption film. With the assumption that the absorbent is linear, calculations have been made for various inlet temperature and flow-rate conditions. For low inlet temperature, the absorption rate is large in the upstream region but the mean temperature also increases and as a result the absorption decreases as the film flows to downstream while high-inlet-temperature case does the opposite. The difference in the absorption rate due to the inlet temperature change becomes smaller in the downstream than that in the upstream. For large flow rate, the heat transfer to the wall becomes poor due to the thick film and so does the absorption rate. The analyses have also been carried out for multiple tube arrangement and the results show that the absorption rate converges after a few tube rows.

  • Numerical calculation has been performed to investigate the transport phenomena in the horizontal reactor which has two different gas inlets for MOCVD(metalorganic chemical vapor deposition). The full elliptic governing equations for continuity, momentum, energy and chemical species are solved by using the commercial code FLUENT. It is investigated how thermal characteristics, reactor geometry, and the operating parameters affect flow fields, mass fraction of each reactants. The numerical simulations demonstrate that flow rate of each species, inlet geometry of the reactor, and its distance from the susceptor as well as the inclination of upper wall of reactor can be used effectively to optimize reactor performance. The commonly used idealized boundary conditions are also investigated to predict flow phenomena in the actual deposition system.
