혼합 유한요소법을 사용한 H-평면의 도파관 접합 해석 (Analysis of Waveguide Junction in H-Plane Using Finite Element-Boundary Element Method)

  • An H-Plane waveguide component with arbitrary shape is analyzed using finite element method(FEM) Cooperated with boundary element method(BEM). For the application of BEM in the waveguide structure, a ray representation of the waveguide Green's function is used. This technique is applied to the analysis of the waveguide inductive junction. The results are compared with the results of the mode matching technique. The comparison shows good agreement.

  • This paper examines two different approaches to resolving a theoretical problem which the bottom-up approach version of Discourse Representation Theory of Kamp et al. (2003) faces in dealing with anaphoric relations between pronouns and their potential antecedents in conditional sentences where consequent clauses precede their corresponding conditional clauses. In one of the approaches, every element is processed in the order of occurrence and conditional operators in a non-sentence-initial position cause the ongoing DR to split in two with the same index. The definition of accessibility is accordingly modified so that the right DR can be accessible from the left DR. In the other approach, a different type of discourse representation structure, K ${\Leftarrow}$ K, is introduced, which allows us to resolve the target problem without modifying accessibility proposed in Kamp et al. (2003). Compatibility of these two approaches with the bottom-up version of DRT is evaluated by examining their applicability to the analysis of quantified sentences where pronominal expressions precede generalized quantifiers.

유한영역에서의 꺾인균열 해석을 위한 적분방정식 적용 연구 (An Integral Equation for Kinked Cracks in Finite Plane Bodies)

  • An integral equation representation of cracks was presented which differs from well-known "dislocation layer" representation. In this new representation, the equations are written in terms of the displacement discontinuity across the crack surfaces rather than derivatives of the displacement-discontinuity. It was shown in that the new technique is well-suited to the treatment of kinked cracks. In the present paper, this integral equation representation is coupled to the direct boundary-element method for the treatment of finite bodies containing kinked cracks. The method is demonstrated for two-dimensional finite domains but extension to three-dimensional problems would appear to be possible. The resulting approach is shown to be simple, yet very accurate. accurate.

The method was developed for in-plane(modes I and II) loadings only. In this paper, the method is formulated and applied to mode III problems involving smooth or kinked cracks in finite region. The results are compared to exact solutions where available and the method is shown to be very accurate despite of its simplicity.

  • This paper describes a new method of identifcation of backlash nonlinear systems by use of M-sequence correlation method. In this method, we can obtain not only Volterra kernels of up to 3rd order of the nonlinear system, but also the width of the backlash element from observing the crosscorrelation between the input and the output. Here strictly speaking, a multi-valued nonlinear system such as backlash element can not be expressed by Volterra kernel representation mathematically. But in practice, we encounter many cases where it is difficult to treat them mathematically but they can be controlled from experience. So we here dare to suppose that backlash nonlinear system can be approximated by Volterra kernel representation. Simulations are carried out on a nonlinear system consisting of linear part plus backlash element. And Volterra kernels are measured. The output calculated from the observed Volterra kernels is in good agreement wi th the actual output. And we show that we can obtain the width of backlash element, which is one of the most important parameters, by observing the maximum value of crosscorrelation function between the input M-sequence and the output.

  • This study investigated the formation of communication education which is based on the contemporary language education. Concretely I watched chronologically the proportion of culture element and behavior element, its change, and the contents of writing education. To achieve this, I took the ancient Greek language education as the main materials. The sophists are right if we think only the empirical world, because of the changeability of external world and the relativity of sense. On the other hand, Platon emphasized the ability of abstract thought which is inherent in the human inside. But today's education only emphasizes the 'expression' which came from the Platonic thought. So students fills their devastated inside with arbitrary idea in this history-forgotten social circumstance. It is very beneficial to make subject have some cultural studies and to enhance the sensation on the world through the writing of representation because these can be good to the growth of subject. It is our-not as educator but as a predecessor of human being-duty to set the catalogue of cultural studies of this age and to make students feel the fundamental harmony and the beauty of the world.

양방향 알고리즘을 이용한 2의 보수 표현 기법에 의한 디지털 필터의 설계에 관한 연구 (Study on Design of Digital filter by 2's Complement Representation using Bidirectional algorithm)

  • 디지털 신호 처리 분야에서 디지털 필터는 필수불가결한 요소이다. 디지털 필터는 이진수의 곱셈 및 덧셈을 기본으로 하는 것으로 많은 연산량을 필요로 한다. 디지털 필터 내의 곱셈기는 VLSI 기술을 이용한 디지털 필터의 설계에 있어 반도체 칩 내부의 넓은 영역을 차지하고 전력의 대부분을 소비하며, 필터의 critical path를 결정하여 필터의 성능을 결정하는 중요한 요소로서 작용 한다. 본 연구에서는 특히 디지털 필터의 복잡성(complexity)를 해소하고 critical path를 줄여 필터의 연산속도를 증가시키기 위한 방법으로 2의 보수로서 표현되는 이진수를 CSD(canonical signed digit)와 MSD(minimal signed digit)로 동시에 변환하여 표현하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 VHDL로 구현하고 임의의 필터에 적용하여 필터의 critical path가 감소하는 것을 보였다.

  • This paper introduces a geometric modelling system adopted in a newly developed preprocessor for finite element analysis of three dimensional structures. The formulation is characterized by hierarchical construction of structural model which consists of control points, curves, surfaces and solids. Various surface and solid modeling schemes based on blending functions and boundary representation are systematized for finite element mesh generation. The modeling system is integrated with model synthesis and operations which facilitate modelling of complex structures.

배열 표현을 이용한 M-힙에서 삽입/삭제 알고리즘 (Insertion/Deletion algorithms on M-heap with an array representation)

  • 스케줄링, 정렬, 및 최단 거리 계산 네트워크 문제 등과 같은 응용에 이용될 수 있는 우선 순위 큐 중, 피보나치 힙, 페어링 힙, 및 M-힙은 포인터를 이용하는 자료 구조이다. 본 논문에서는 [1]에서 문제점으로 남겨두었던 M-힙을 배열을 이용하여 표현한 MA-힙(M-heap with an array representation)를 제안한다. MA-힙은 M-힙과 동일한 시간 복잡도인 O(1) 삽입 전이 시간과 O(logn) 삭제 시간 복잡도를 가지며, 단순한 전통적인 힙에 근거하고 있기 때문에 [5]에서 제안된 힙보다 구현이 매우 용이하다.
