  • The wireless communication revolution has spawned a revival of interest in the design and optimization of radio transceivers. Radio transmit modules continue to shrink in die size and cost, requiring novel approaches for integration of the numerous passive elements of the radio front-end. A 3 dB Wilkinson power divider based on GaAs substrates, for DCS 1710-1880 MHz band was designed and fabricated showing excellent performance.

  • The most of important thing when we design a Wireless Sensor Network is resources. You have to consider energy efficient operation When you design Wireless Sensor Network. Because Sensor devices have a limited resources. In this paper, we proposed energy efficiency localization technique in Wireless Sensor Network. We used Cell ID technique for location search. This method can reduce power consumption and the network life time will be extension.

  • Ferrite plating enables were grown by ferrite by plating method in solution at low temperature(<10$0^{\circ}C$). This faciltates the fabrication of new ferrite thin film devices using non- heat-resistant materials(plastic, GaAs ect) as substrates. Combining the ferrite plating with sonochemistry, application of power ultrasonic waves to stimulate chemical reactions, the crystallinity and qualities of films were improved. Modifying the reactions cell and plating conditions further improved the film quality.

  • This paper reports on the measurement of angle between micro mirror and substrate in. the Micro Optical Cross Connect(MOXC). MOXC consists of beam collimators and $N{\times}N$ micro mirrors that are fabricated by using MEMS technology. Using subpixel level image processing, it is possible to measure the angle with the resolution of 0.27$^{\circ}$.

  • It is necessary for calculation of repulsion forces acting on the closed electric contacts flowing over-current, e.g. inrush current and overload currents, to do optimum design of switching devices. In this paper, the farces and flux densities generated by currents at the contact point when circuit breakers are in closed state are obtained by using 3D finite element methode. To be convinced of the results, we measure electrogmanetic repulsion forces on contacts by measuring voltage between opened contacts in MCCB.

  • Various polymeric electrolytes were prepared from PEG, PEO and PMMA with LiClO$_4$ to develop lithium conductive electrolytes for smart windows. The complementary electrochromic devices were fabricated with these electrolytes involving cathodically coloring WO$_3$ and anodically coloring V$_2$O$\sub$5/ thin films. The performance of electrochromic device with PMMA/LiCLO$_4$ electrolyte was found to be excellent

  • The thickness dependence of stress voltage oxide currents has been measured in oxides with thicknesses between 10nm and 80nm. The oxide currents were shown to be composed of stress current and transient current. The stress current was caused by trap assited tunneling through the oxide. The transient current was caused by the tunneling charging and discharging of the trap in the interfaces. The stress current was used to estimate to the limitations on oxide thicknesses. The transient current was used to the data retention in memory devices.

  • Capacitor-type MONOS (metal-oxide-nitride-oxide- semiconductor) NVSMs with 23$\AA$ tunneling oxide and 40$\AA$ blocking oxide were fabricated. The thicknesses of nitride layer were 45$\AA$, 91$\AA$ and 223$\AA$, Breakdown characteristics of MONOS devices were measured to investigate the reliability of superthin ONO structure using ramp voltage and constant voltage method. Reducing the nitride thickness will significantly increase the reliablity of MONOS NVSM.

  • Many electrochemical power devices such as solid state batteries and solid oxide fuel cell have been studied and developed for solving energy and environmental problems. Fuel cell is a modular, high efficient and environmentally energy conversion device, it has become a promising option to replace the conventional fossil fuel based electric power plants. This paper offers some new perspectives on fuel cell development and commercialization which come from the broad consideration of the commercialization efforts of the entire fuel cell industry.

  • Recently, the electronic components are used plentifully to the railway trains. This paper explains the aging mechanism which is investigated from Japanese electric trains. Investigating results about the vehicle breakdown of the machinery are explained. We can know breakdown tendency of a cause place, occurrence date etc. by investigating results.
