The objectives of this study were to compare visual observation and an electronic grazing time method and to evaluate the effects of nutritional plans on intake, grazing behavior and horizontal and vertical locomotion of young bulls in a tropical pasture. Thirty-nine Nellore young bulls with an average body weight of $345{\pm}9.3$ kg kept in pasture were used. The experimental treatments consisted of: restricted: animals kept in a plot with a low mass of forage receiving mineral mixture only; control: animals receiving mineral mixture only; HPHC: a high protein and high carbohydrate supplement; HPLC: a high protein and low carbohydrate supplement; LPHC: a low protein and high carbohydrate supplement; LPLC: a low protein and low carbohydrate supplement. GPS collars equipped with activity sensors were used. Information about head position, latitude, longitude and altitude were recorded. Daytime grazing behavioral patterns monitored by a continuous focal animal recording method was compared to behavior estimated by the activity sensor. Feed intake was estimated by a marker method. The Restricted group presented lower (p<0.05) intake of dry matter and TDN. However, difference in dry matter intake was not found (p>0.05) between non-supplemented and supplemented animals. Difference was not found (p>0.05) in daytime grazing time obtained by visual observation or the activity sensor method. The restricted group showed longer (p<0.05) grazing time (9.58 h/d) than other groups, but difference was not found (p>0.05) in the grazing time between Control (8.35 h/d) and supplemented animals (8.03 h/d). The Restricted group presented lower (p<0.05) horizontal locomotion distance (2,168 m/d) in comparison to other groups (2,580.6 m/d). It can be concluded that the use of activity sensor methods can be recommended due to their being similar to visual observation and able to record 24-h/d. While supplements with high carbohydrates reduce pasture intake, they do not change grazing behavior. Moderate supplementation (until 50% of protein requirement and 30% of energy requirement) of beef cattle on tropical pasture has no effect on daily locomotion.
Context: Interest exits in whether TNF-alpha antagonists increase the risk of breast cancer and total malignancies in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Objectives: To analyze the risk of malignancies, especially breast cancer, in patients with RA enrolled in randomized control trials (RCTs). Methods: A systematic literature search for RCTs from 1 January 1998 to 1 July 2013 from online databases, such as PubMed, WILEY, EMBASE, ISI web of knowledge and Cochrane Library was conducted. Studies included RCTs that compared the safety of at least one dose of the five TNF-${\alpha}$ antagonists with placebo or methotrexate (MTX) (or TNF-${\alpha}$ antagonists plus MTX vs placebo plus MTX) in RA patients for more than 24 weeks and imported all the references into document management software EndNote${\times}6$. Two independent reviewers selected studies and extracted the data about study design, patients' characteristics and the type, number of all malignancies. Results: 28 RCTs from 34 records with 11,741 patients were analyzed. Of the total, 97 developed at least one malignancy during the double-blind trials, and breast cancer was observed in 17 patients (17.5% of total malignancies). However, there was no statistically significant increased risk observed in either the per protocol (PP) model (OR 0.65, 95%CI [0.22, 1.93]) or the modified intention to treat (mITT) model (OR 0.75, 95%CI [0.25, 2.21]). There were also no significant trend for increased risk of total malignancies on anti-TNF-${\alpha}$ therapy administered at approved doses in either model (OR, 1.06, 95%CI [0.64, 1.75], and OR, 1.30, 95%CI [0.80, 2.14], respectively). As to the two models, modified intention to treat model analysis led to higher estimation than per protocol model analysis. Conclusions: This study did not find a significantly increased risk of breast cancer and total malignancies in adults RA patients treated with TNF-${\alpha}$ antagonists at approved doses. However, it cannot be ignored that more patients developed malignancies with TNF-${\alpha}$ antagonists therapy compared with patients with placebo or MTX, in spite of the lack of statistical significance, so that more strict clinical trials and long-term follow-up are needed, and both mITT and PP analyses should be used in such safety analyses.
The underlaying communication scheme in 5G cellular network is a very promising resource sharing scheme, and it is an effective scheme for improving service performance of 5G and reducing communication load between a cellular link and a device to device (D2D) link. This paper proposes the algorithm to minimize the resource interference that occurs when performing 5G-based multi-class service on gNB(gNodeB) and the cooperative priority-based resource allocation scheduling scheme (CPRAS) to maximize 5G communication service according to the analyzed control conditions of interference. The proposed CPRAS optimizes communication resources for each device, and it optimizes resource allocation according to the service request required for 5G communication and the current state of the network. In addition, the proposed scheme provides a function to guarantee giga-class service by minimizing resource interference between a cellular link and a D2D link in gNB. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme is better system performance than the Pure cellular and Force cellular schemes. In particular, the higher the priority and the higher the cooperative relationship between UE(User Equipment), the proposed scheme shows the more effective control of the resource interference.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of various type of Magma seawater (MSW) concentrations on plant growth and useful mineral contents in Bletilla striata. In the RO (Reverse Osmosis) and ED (Electronic Distal) treatment, hardness of medium was poored in 3.0 g/L gelrite but increased in 8.0 g/L plant agar, 38,000 and $2,000g/cm^2$ respectably. We analyzed the morphological and physiological characteristics differences of B. striata treated various MSW. Survival frequency of plant and growth (shoot length, shoot diameter, root length, root diameter, shoot/root ratio) were significantly increased in RO and ED treatment at 50% and 10%, especially. Chlorophyll contents in ED treatments were higher than those in control and RO treatment. The content of strontium (Sr) in 20, 50, 75, 100% ED treatment, were higher than those in the control and RO, ED 1, 5, 10% treatment. These results showed that treatment of ED with the range of 20~100% could be used to supply the strontium enriched orchid plant. It is considered that MSW may be applied for use in Magma seawater to promotion of growth and produced functional plant.
In the previous study, a variety of wood-based panels was thermally decomposed to manufacture carbonized boards that had been proved to be high abilities of insect and fungi repellence, corrosion and fire resistant, electronic shielding, and formaldehyde adsorption as well as sound absorption performance. Based on the previous study, carbonized medium density fiberboard (c-MDF) was chosen to improve sound absorption performance by holing and sanding process. Three different types of holes (cross shape, square shape, and line) with three different sanding thickness (1, 2, and 3 mm) were applied on c-MDF and then determined sound absorption coefficient (SAC). The control c-MDF without holes had 14% of SAC, however, those c-MDFs with holes had 16.01% (square shape), 15.68% (cross shape), and 14.25% (line) of SAC. Therefore, making holes on the c-MDF did not significantly affect on the SAC. As the degree of sanding increased, the SAC of c-MDF increased approximately 65% on sanding treated c-MDFs (21.5, 21.83, and 19.37%, respectively) compared to the control c-MDF (13%). Based on these results, composite sound absorbing panel was developed with c-MDF and MDF (11 mm). The noise reduction coefficient of composite sound absorbing panel was 0.45 which was high enough to certify as sound absorbing material.

In this paper, we developed the semiconductor monitoring system for the etching process. Around the world, expert companies are competing fiercely since the semiconductor industry is a leading value-added industry that produces the essential components of electronic products. As a result, many researches have been conducted in order to improve the quality, productivity, and characteristics of semiconductor products. Process monitoring techniques has an important role to give an equivalent quality and productivity to produce semiconductor. In fact, since the etching process to form a semiconductor circuit causes great damage to the semiconductors, it is very necessary to develop a system for monitoring the process. The proposed monitoring system is mainly focused on the dry etching process using plasma and it provides the detailed observation, analysis and feedback to managers. It has the functionality of setting scenarios to match the process control automatically. In addition, it maximizes the efficiency of process automation. The result can be immediately reflected to the system since it performs real-time monitoring. UI (User Interface) provides managers with diagnosis of the current state in the process. The monitoring system has diverse functionalities to control the process according to the scenario written in advance, to stop the process efficiently and finally to increase production efficiency.
Polymerization properties of six dinuclear constrained geometry catalysts (DCGC) were investigated. The different length bridges of three catalysts were para-phenyl (Catalyst 1), para-xylyl (Catalyst 2), and para-diethylene phenyl (Catalyst 6). The other three DCGC have the same para-xylyl bridge with the different substituents at the phenyl ring of the bridge. The selected substituents were isopropyl (Catalyst 3), n-hexyl (Cataylst 4), and n-octyl (Catalyst 5), It was found that the longer catalyst not only exhibited a greater activity but also prepared a higher molecular weight copolymer. The catalyst 3 having a bulky isopropyl substituent revealed the lower activity but formed the highest molecular weight polymer comparing with the other alkyl substituted DCGCs. These results were able to be understood on the basis of the electronic and steric characteristics of the bridge. This study confirms that the control of the bridge structure of DCGC may contribute to control the microstructure of polymers.

To proportionally control the electronic valve position of the actuator, we designed and fabricated PCU, CPT, and rotary absolute optical encoder for the detection of absolute angular position in the actuator. We also designed and constructed the test system by using DAQ hardware and Labview. We designed PCU to convert 1-5 V, 0-5 V, 0-10 V, 2-10 V voltage signals and 4-20 mA current signals to the voltage signals in the common 0.5-2.5 V range. We designed CPT to output 4-20 mA current signals corresponding to the valve positions based on the PWM signal input from the MCU. We also designed 20 bit optical encoder by using infrared LED and infrared transistor and made the serial communication with the main board possible. When we tested PCU and CPT with DAQ hardware and Labview software, they operated correctly with the small errors within ${\pm}0.003$ V and ${\pm}0.01$ mA, respectively, showing that our actuator has the excellent performance to employ as the industrial proportional-valve-actuator. The resolution of the encoder was $11.25^{\circ}$ and the maximum revolution to detect was 32,768.
In this paper, we propose the radiation measuring algorithm and the device composition using CMOS image sensor. The radiation measuring algorithm using CMOS image sensor is based on the radiation particle distinguishing algorithm projected to the CMOS image sensor and accumulated and average number of pixels of the radiation particles projected to dozens of images per second with CMOS image sensor. The radiation particle distinguishing algorithm projected to the CMOS image sensor measures the radiation particle images by dividing them into R, G and B and adjusting the threshold value that distinguishes light intensity and background from the particle of each image. The radiation measuring algorithm measures radiation with accumulated and average number of radiation particles projected to dozens of images per second with CMOS image sensor according to the preset cycle. The hardware devices to verify the suggested algorithm consists of CMOS image sensor and image signal processor part, control part, power circuit part and display part. The test result of radiation measurement using the suggested CMOS image sensor is as follows. First, using the low-cost CMOS image sensor to measure radiation particles generated similar characteristics to that from measurement with expensive GM Tube. Second, using the low-cost CMOS image sensor to measure radiation presented largely similar characteristics to the linear characteristics of expensive GM Tube.
