메카넘휠을 적용한 구형바퀴로봇(볼-봇)의 주행제어 (Travel Control of a Spherical Wheeled Robot (Ball-Bot) with Mecanum Wheel)

  • In this paper, the travel control of the spherical wheeled robot with a mecanum wheel is impelemented. Four typical wheels or three omni wheels are used to consist of the ball-bot. the slip is occured when the typical wheels is used to the ball-bot. In order to reduce these slip, the spherical wheeled robot with macanum wheels is proposed. Through some experiments, we find that the proposed spherical wheeled robot with a mecanum wheel is superior to the conventional spherical wheeled robot with typical wheels.

  • This paper introduces a coordinated droop control for the stand-alone DC micro-grid, which is composed of photo-voltaic generator, wind power generator, engine generator, and battery storage with SOC (state of charge) management system. The operation of stand-alone DC micro-grid with the coordinated droop control was analyzed with computer simulation. Based on simulation results, a hardware simulator was built and tested to analyze the performance of proposed system. The developed simulation model and hardware simulator can be utilized to design the actual stand-alone DC micro-grid and to analyze its performance. The coordinated droop control can improve the reliability and efficiency of the stand-alone DC micro-grid.

  • 최근 차량 사고로부터 탑승자를 보호하기 위해서 다양한 안전 기술이 집중적으로 개발되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 잠김 방지 브레이크 시스템, 견인력 제어 시스템, 제동력 배분 시스템, 전자 주행 안정 장치, 자동 긴급 브레이크, 에어백, 좌석벨트 프리텐셔너, 능동형 헤드레스트 등 다양한 차량용 탑승자 보호 기술을 살펴보고, 각 기술의 동작원리 및 구현에 대해 설명한다.

  • We have developed the convergence system that can control an appliance under ubiquitous circumstance. The system can display the GPS information received from the satellite, several control signal and mobile phone signal.   • In this research a Matlab/Simulink/RTW - based on the realtime control system was developed for an induction motor vector control. On the Simulink window, the control system is designed In the form of block diagrams, program codes are produced automatically with the RTW(Real Time Workshop), then a DSP c compiler complies the program codes.

  • In our laboratory, the control aspects are investigated in the photovoltaic power generation systems (PV systems). The PV system is very good for earth environment, but if it connects to power network system, many problems are raised (protection, voltage, harmonics etc.). In this paper, we present the result of the basic studies for the building of the PV system that amplifies the electric energy obtained from the solar cell. We consider electronic circuits in order to protect the PV system from power surge induced by lightning and also design an electronic circuit in order to detect defaults in the power network system. We would like to integrate these circuits into the PV system by considering its control equipment build by 8-bit microcomputer using various control theory (fuzzy, neural network etc.).

  • This paper describes a design of a vector control module for AC motor using high density FPGA. In the proposed vector controller, the vector control blocks including inverse dq transform, space vector PWM and quadrature encoder pulse module are implemented in a FPGA using a VHDL. The simulation results are provided to show the validity of the proposed vector control module.

  • The engine cooling system is a device that keeps the temperature of the engine room at a proper level by driving the cooling fan when the engine room temperature that occurs during driving is above a certain temperature. Recently, the vehicle cooling system has been changed to electronic system. Therefore, in this paper, we will analyze the clutch operation characteristics for designing a superior electronic fan clutch. For this purpose, an electronic fan clutch was designed and a test bed for performance evaluation was constructed and analyzed.

  • This article proposes a robust nonlinear control based on Lyapunov's redesign, whose purpose is to deal with parametric uncertainty in the resistance of the motor windings. The robust controller design is based on the passivity properties of the motor, as well as energy shaping and damping injection. The application of this control technique is focused on electric vehicles mainly formed by a battery bank, a power inverter, an AC brushless motor and the mechanical transmission. The sine PWM technique is used to trigger the switching devices of inverter. The results were obtained from simulation, where is shown that robust control makes a proper tracking of electromagnetic torque.
